and the weight of the finished bread?

Yesterday I baked bread from 400 grams of flour. I weighed it especially for you - 660 gr. But when forming the bun, I had to add a little flour.
I often bake from 300 grams, but I did not weigh the bread itself.
Creamy
If you need to get a loaf weighing 500 grams at the exit, then the dough should be kneaded from 335 grams of flour. In general, this is just a stove, it will bake whatever you want, no matter what you put in it. It is only dangerous to overload the engine by kneading too steep dough or knead the dough with more than 600 grams of flour.
Mams
The weight also depends on the ingredients, that is, bread with raisins will weigh more than the same without raisins. French is 400 grams of flour lighter than all other options. In theory, you can bake from 300 gr. flour, then there will definitely be a loaf of 450 grams, put a light crust so that it does not burn. Only the form will be low. Still, the Panas bucket is designed for medium and large loaves. Less than 400 grams will not be very good. IMHO, of course.

Several years ago we were looking for a small bread maker for one friend, there were only Chinese clathronics available, but they were so poor. In general, three programs and a loaf of 400 grams. All .. there are no other options. Now, it seems to me, this is even more difficult.

Another option is to knead the dough, bake in the oven. The dough can also be 300 grams ... But this is a more difficult option, in the sense of body movements it adds.

I bake from 300g flour. It turns out a small good bread, except for the size it is no different than when I bake from 500g.
Only bread is well stored, so sometimes too lazy to bake too little.

Taia, and for 300 g of flour, how much liquid do you take?

Taia, and for 300 g of flour, how much liquid do you take?

210 ml, but I always follow the bun. Flour often gives such surprises that it is difficult to keep exact recipes. If a tight bun, I add lukewarm water, and if you need flour, I add semolina from durum wheat.
yudinel
Thank you,Taia, I take 280ml of liquid for 400g, but sometimes I need to bake less bread
Creamy
I always bake from 300 grams of flour and end up with a loaf weighing exactly 450 grams. But after kneading and the first proofing, I transfer the dough to the L7 form and put this same L7 form in Panasonic. I put the crust light, the size is the smallest, and 12 minutes before the end of the baking mode, I already take out the finished baked brick. I grease the form with "Pyshka" margarine with a wide flange brush, which I always keep in the freezer so that I never wash it. Never upsets in the freezer.

I have a Panasonic SD-ZB2502 bread maker - 2.5 years have made us happy, I bake absolutely different breads, make dough, make jams.

echeva, well, the recipe in the studio, pliz!
My starter is a spontaneous fermentation.
So,
Saf-moment yeast - 2g
flour (w / s + 1 s) - 350g,
rye flour - 50g
sourdough - 100g
salt - 7g
water - 275g
Mode - FRENCH (if the sourdough is from the h-ka, then also on a timer up to 9-10 hours, so that she would have time to earn).
or - BASIC (if the starter is at room temperature)
sazalexter
echeva, Four hours is enough for leaven to raise bread? Taking off my hat
Speak with leaven And yeast! 2g
echeva
sazalexter, the leaven is already fed - I add 2g of yeast additionally, because there is not much leaven (I bake every day, I do not have time to grow it), and when a sufficient amount of leaven has accumulated, I bake with one leaven (without adding yeast). The bread is great! My other (only by leaps and bounds) do not eat at all

My sourdough - smart girl has been living with us for almost 2 years

Can you please tell me if it is possible to bake butter bread in Panasonic SD-2511 and if so, in what mode. I tuned in to buy and suddenly I see that there is no function for butter or sweet bread

Greetings, good people, good health to everyone!
Tell me please. I would like to buy a Panasonic bakery, not a drop of doubt in choosing a brand. There are fluctuations in the choice of model. I also saw SD-257 on sale. I know the model has long been discontinued, but I like it. It is a little more compact in size, the information on the display seems more convenient to me. Or would you still advise modern models? Do they have an advantage in some way?
orange
I was not interested in new models. take 257 you will not regret
Mikhaska
Rubik Jan, you are fantastically lucky to have the 257th model still on sale! I have had it since 2010 and not a minute, not a single second I regretted that I bought it! And I would have grabbed one of them right there, without hesitation, if there was such an opportunity!
This is the most advanced HP model ever produced by Panasonic! This is confirmed by all Panasonic owners, and the manufacturers themselves. Everything in it happily came together: design, build quality, and functionality.
If you could see HOW I envy you now, you would already buy it! About any other technique I can not say with such confidence and love like that!

The only negative (for me, at least) 257 is the absence of the "sweet bread" program On the "basic", no matter how I trick, the baked goods are too dark Or maybe this is only in my HP But, if I'm not mistaken, in the new models this program never appeared
Rubik Jan
orange, Mikhaska, Jackdaw-Crow, Thank you very much for your advice.
Let's take!

Didn't appear .... that's how they bake on the main program
In general, getting a cupcake in Panasonic is problematic, even in the instructions it is written about it
It's easier to knead in the oven and bake in the oven

minus (for me, at least) 257 is the absence of the "sweet bread" program
The whole problem is solved by an elementary reduction of sugar in the recipe, or by setting the "medium", not "dark" crust. She herself faced a similar problem when baking Easter cake. I removed some sugar, and voila! Cake of my dreams!

getting a cupcake in Panasonic is problematic
A little overkill with an accent turned out ... With the cupcake, everything was decided in the same way as in the case of the cake. "Stolichny" is baking great! I didn’t try others, because I don’t consider it necessary to bake muffins in KhP at all. I love mine and therefore strain only with bread. My oven and cartoon do great with cupcakes. Well, I also make yeast and dumplings dough in it.
Jackdaw-Crow
I don't bake muffins in Panas at all, but cakes with a "light" crust and size M are still too dark, and I don't want to reduce sugar. I turn off the HP 10 minutes before the end of the program and do not take out the bucket for another 5 minutes
orange
Yesterday I baked a cupcake "Dachny" according to the attached book - instructions. Yes. it turns out too fried, but I think the problem can be solved by reducing the baking time from the proposed 60 minutes to 55-50

Already ordered. They said they would bring it the day after tomorrow. I do not believe my happiness! Thank you, Irinka!

Greetings, bakers!
I was lucky to switch to my use Panasonic SD-255. In a fairly good condition, the bucket and the blade of course have traces of exploitation, but this does not affect the result.
So with the purchase of the SD-257 we will hang up. The savings will be spent on flour and yeast.
Mikhaska
Konstantin, in any case, I congratulate you from the bottom of my heart on the purchase of HP from Panasonic!
I wish you delicious bread!

Why is this model better?
Mikhaska
You are lucky Olenka! Great opportunity for you people there to acquire wonderful equipment! Of course, I won't order it here. I'm afraid for the stove.
And the price ... Well, what can I say, if in 2010 I bought it in Panasonic - the center of Novosibirsk for almost 11,000 thousand rubles.
So, as for me, you buy cheap.

Why is this model better?
If the question is for me, then I wanted a stove from the first series, and this one I like more than others in design and, they say, is the most compact. And the opinion of Irishka-Mikhaska is significant for me.
The only thing, I doubt: isn't it a fake? In the subject they write that the 257th has long been discontinued, but on the other hand, that Panasonic has no fakes. In general, I will get and see the year of issue.
Mikhaska
Thank you for your trust, Olchik!
I don't think this is fake. When it was released for sale, very soon after it, furnaces of other modifications fell down (something about 1.5 years was a break. Maybe a little more). And the people massively spread to new models. And since the demand for them many times exceeded the demand for the 257th, the Japanese decided to remove it from production as it was outdated.
Therefore, in the warehouses of the manufacturer and large dealers, there were rubble of 257s. After people ate stoves with unnecessary bells and whistles, nostalgia arose for these models. So the sellers rushed to sell stocks.

Should this be alarming? Now I looked at Ozone, they have Panasonic half made in China, and half - in Japan.
