I want to buy at the Shtebu DD2 stock, I don't have time to read everything about it. The question about condensation is especially interesting - does it flow strongly from the lid? Or where does it go?
And then I read that Shteba's board flew due to the fact that condensation got on it, and the board was not protected from moisture. So I think, how much of a problem is this?
Masinen
lana light, The condensation remains all in the lid.
It doesn't flow anywhere.
It was discussed that when cooking the ham, when you cover it with the second bowl, condensation flows.
And not from the lid))
lana light
Maria, Thanks for the quick response! Only this moment confused me. Now I have definitely decided on the purchase of a pressure cooker, this is Headquarters DD2!
Olsu
And I just noticed that my lid is skewed sitting in a closed state and also, with the pressure gained, the gap on the left between the lid and the device is 6 mm, on the right is somewhere two times less, what is this distortion, who has it?
Masinen
Olsu, Olga, everyone's lid is so skewed

Maria, can you please tell me, the FRYING mode, the preset time is 15 minutes, after this time I press the frying again and my time does not flash (there is no countdown), as if I had to dial the temperature, the time hung for several minutes, I didn’t wait anymore whether the countdown, turned off the mode

Quote: Masinen

Olga, everything is correct, it should heat up and start beeping, then the countdown will start, about 3-4 minutes)

And again, I and my Fry, after re-enabling the mode, 6 minutes have passed, there is no countdown, but frying seems to be going on, it does not look like cooling

Olga, I, in order not to re-enable the "Fry" mode, I just initially set the time a little more than expected. If everything is fried before the end of the program, I turn it off forcibly.
Olsu
Lera-7, yes, I did that too, I ran out of time a bit, and it turns out it won't turn on again?
Lera-7

I think it turns on, the countdown just does not work. Probably, the sensor obviously does not work right away.
Arka
It turns on again without problems. The countdown is on.

I'll have to try, maybe mine is also counting down Just yet I didn't have to immediately turn on the "Fry" again.
Olsu
Lera-7, unsubscribe then if possible, otherwise we can have my new one and already need to be in service

Well, this is hardly! She fries even if she's not counting down? So, I think everything is fine with your pressure cooker. On occasion I will try and write.
Olsu
Frying was yes, for 6 minutes of waiting it would not have squealed so much, and the timer stood for 15 minutes

Well, then everything is fine! Take your time to get upset

For the first time I will cook the heart of an elk. According to the recipe, you need to cook the whole for 2 hours, and if in Shteba - how long should you put it, 1 hour probably?
Masinen
| Alexandra |, set 1 hour to 20.

Honestly, I have never cooked a moose's heart))
Creamy
| Alexandra |, preferably 1 hour 39 minutes on meat under pressure. add all the spices. Salt is strictly forbidden, because you will get very hard pieces. The heart holds the record for iron content, so use the whole broth.
| Alexandra |
I thought so about salt, but I still don't know - if the heart has been soaked, how much water should I add?
Creamy
| Alexandra |, rinse the meat and that's it. No water needed. The one on the wettest meat is enough. Then I freeze the heart with cubes in a silicone mold, fill the gaps between the pieces of the heart with broth. The second cube on the left is just a bull's heart filled with broth. the third cube from the left is simply broth from the heart.

Basics of use, questions and cooking times in the Steba DD1, DD2 pressure cooker

Girls need help. The son bought a multicooker from the staff DD2. I worked for a week and stopped turning on. No not like this! It does not turn on without a lid, it turns on if you cover it with a lid, and then lift the lid so that it slightly touches the multicooker body. Has anyone had such a problem, if yes, then how to deal with it? They wanted to take it to the store under warranty, but did not accept it, because the box was thrown away.
| Alexandra |
CreamyThank you very much for your advice. Do you cut it before cooking or after? I'll try the broth, I generally never make friends with moose broths because of their taste.
Masinen
olaola1, Olga, in theory, the lid does not play any role in turning on the multicooker,
Maybe something got into the sensor there.

We must accept, because the absence of a box is not an argument. Law violation.

So it turns on without a lid. At first she worked like that for her son, and then something happened in her mind. The daughter-in-law called the Ozone hotline. She was told that they would only accept it in a box. And she will not butt with "Ozone".
Masinen
Olga, write S-t, maybe he can help with ozone recovery.
olaola1
Masha, thank you!

Creamy
| Alexandra |, got into the topic late, I ennoble the "heart" broth with spices. a large peeled head of onion, but I don't cut off the onion's ass. (Then I throw out the whole onion.) Black pepper, sweet peas, necessarily cardomom, the black seeds themselves and the shutters are also in broth. I do not put bay leaves, it gives bitterness. And I cut the meat raw into pieces, then they turn out to be pieces. The heart contains 6 times more iron than red muscle meat.
| Alexandra |
Creamy, thank you, I really threw away the laurel already yesterday, and I never even held cardamom in my hands, I will have to try.
| Alexandra |
Girls, my heart turned out great then, I set it for 1 hour and did not release the pressure, left it in the Shteba overnight. In my opinion, I ate it for the first time in my life, and with great pleasure, I always disdained any offal, except for chicken liver ...
mamusi
Masinen, Masha, girls, tell me, rliiiz ... something jammed me ...
After the languor mode ... does DD1 go into heating by itself or not? I forgot. and the seichps should be left on the languor. But then heating is not needed ...
julia_bb
Leaves for heating, 100%
mamusi
Yulia, Thank you!!!!!

FSE !!! made a move with the Knight!)))
I switched it to Heating 80 * for 1 hour.
Enough for me.
And after Warming up to Warming up ... I think it won't go away!)))
And it will turn off ...
Itself.
julia_bb
Margarita, not at all) I remember the stewed porridge, the people in the country until everyone gets up, who at what time, almost for dinner, and the porridge is still warming up
Masinen
mamusi, yes, yes, DD2 leaves, but DD1, which I do not remember.

Girls please help! I put lemon soup to cook, the countdown started. A hiss is heard around the valve. This is normal? Something's scary to me, I've never worked with steam. And further. I read somewhere that the hole should be completely closed with a float (which is on the left?), And what is right under the "lid tie? It is recessed there anyway."
lana light
Hissing where the float is is normal. Now it will hiss a little and the float will jump up. This means that the pressure has accumulated.
The main thing is that in addition to the hole for the float, steam does not escape anywhere, this happens if the lid is closed poorly or the O-ring has failed. Then you need to turn off the MV, open the lid and fix the ring
mirtatvik
lana light, Sveta, is boiling now, but still a slight hiss and gurgle is heard. This is normal?
lana light
The float (a piece of iron in the hole on the left of the lid) does not fully (flush with the edge of the lid) rise when the pressure is accumulated, but somewhere half the height of the hole.
When there is no pressure, the float is very deep below.
On this basis, you can visually determine if there is pressure

Did the float rise? Is it the hiss from the float? Maybe a hiss from the valve (plastic black square on the right on the cover)?
Gurgling, in principle, can be heard in the bowl, the hiss from the valve also happens. Not even a hiss, but ,, bearing ,,

Is the valve in the closed position exactly?
Sometimes it moves a little. You can move it slightly, left / right, press down. But only be careful if the pressure has already accumulated! Otherwise you can burn yourself with the steam!
mirtatvik
lana light, Light, hisses from the black valve. Sveta, and I have a black valve on the right, and a float on the left. The valve is slightly shifted, but I did not correct it, something scary. Maybe I put the lid on the wrong way? The pressure is now relieving. At first she sounded all the time, and now she stopped. To what indication should it be vented?
lana light
Depending on what you cook. If soup / borscht, stewed fruit or milk, then it is better not to bleed, but wait until it subsides, i.e. the float will not fall down. Otherwise, it can climb out through the valve. If the bowl is full, it can take a long time to bleed, about 30 minutes, or even more.
If something is not very liquid, then you can slightly lift the tail of the black valve upward with something like a knife or fork. Be careful not to burn yourself! You can put a towel / napkin on the valve so that condensate from the valve does not splash and so bleed off. Or you can wait until it subsides itself. If the dish is not liquid, then the pressure drops much faster, it can drop in 5 minutes. But this again depends on the fullness of the bowl and the amount of liquid in the dish.

lana light, Sveta, thank you!

Girls, put Cooking on a couple again - chicken roll. The last time she gained pressure - and squeaked all the way. This time I opened the valve - so the cartoon spits through it all the time! Is this so necessary? Time is counting down - and she grumbles!
lana light
anavi, Olga, try steaming on a different mode. And the Steam mode really either beeps or spits!
anavi
Sveta, and which one? Switch off again like last time? Then Lenochka-Biju advised me to turn off and turn on any mode - I did so, and she did not squeak. Now what? Maybe pour less water? I poured 1 liter
lana light
Now I'll write in a personal
Cpilka
Good evening. I have an emergency! Mom decided to make soup. Pledged everything, turned on the soup program. But I forgot to put on the O-ring. .. Says that the program ended itself and she turned off the cartoon. I see that the display on the inside is fogged up, I opened the lid, but there is no ring. I put on the ring, plugged it in, the cartoon sounded, as usual when turned on, the display lit up, then something clicked in it and it turned off and did not turn on. She took out the bowl, sniffed the small smell of burning. Didn't my Shtebochka really burn?
lana light
Cpilka, do not get upset ahead of time! Let it stand without a lid for a day or two. Maybe everything will dry up there and Shtebochka will work again ...
And on what mode did mom cook? Was the lid closed?
Cpilka
The lid and valve were closed, soup mode.
When I opened the lid, there was water around the edges, but inside under the bowl everything was dry.
The problem is that we don't even have a service center.

lana light
Yes, an ambush! I sympathize! But let's wait a little longer before getting completely upset! All of a sudden, everything is not so bad!
