I join sparta, and I have the first one, and everything suits me, until no problems were found, I scored on the notorious "buckwheat" - all the porridge and rice are perfectly cooked, I don't understand why this regime was separately allocated there?
Alisa-Topol
In general, according to theory, in the "rice" mode, pilaf and rice are cooked or any cereal for a side dish, that is, boiled, but dry and crumbly. And in the "buckwheat" mode, porridge is prepared in water from any cereal, that is, very wet. And "milk porridge" is just for milk, so that it doesn't run away ... Of course, add more water to the cereal and on the "rice" you will get a messy porridge, not a side dish ... For me "rice" is more important than "buckwheat", I use it much more often. And the porridge on the water will also cook well on "milk porridge" ... But the mode was selected precisely in order not to think too much, especially when the cartoon is new and the first, when you are afraid of everything, when the recipe book is instruction number 1 ... then you already understand that the manual mode is the most important and most convenient of all ... except for the sensory program like "rice" - until it boils completely ...
Vanilla
That is why not immediately describe in the instructions that in each mode you can cook, time and proportions, that in no case ... As a beginner, I have to experiment a lot, there are good forums, there are fewer mistakes. So far, my dishes are obtained in some random way, once in a while. But intuition certainly develops.

I have Deh 40 and Deh 65. These are also the first miraculous casseroles in our house. First they took 40, and then 65, which I did not want to take for a long time (I didn’t like that the lid did not open completely until my husband pressed a little harder and everything immediately fell into place; then it’s bad to take out the saucepan ...) Then I read a lot on the forum, then about buckwheat, then about rice ... I found some kind of disadvantages until I calmed down Now everything suits me: I cook buckwheat on the "buckwheat" program, only it is still a little heated, we cook soups, borscht, jellied meat - in general very cool (I put it on languishing overnight), baking_lux! Steamed vegetables, fish, meat, everything is excellent. And if something doesn't work out, the members of the forum will not leave to fend for themselves, they will prompt.
dmutro
I choose dex-65. This will be the first multicooker.
Despite the troubles with "buckwheat" (should be left on the heating) and "rice" (not included after frying) and "milk porridge" (milk does not boil when you set a long time).
Actually 2 questions:
1-the quality of the saucepan? how much about monthis it enough? (I see that several people in this thread asked for the compatibility of dex-60 and 65, and in fact the 60th has a greater thickness - 2.5mm versus 2mm for the 60th)
2-question, how to teach a spouse to use it? Since she is not particularly friendly with technology and at first not all dishes will work out ... that is, you need to adapt to this device, feel the temperature regimes and time, and if at first there are unsuccessful experiments, then she will throw it on the cabinet to collect dust and will cook on the stove.
Ulyana
I can only tell you about the casters from my Dex. I thought it would be more reliable in Deh40, but it turned out the other way around - in the 65s everything was fine, and in the 40s I already rubbed the bottom, although it did not affect the cooking process. I use silicone spatulas, a ladle and tongs (it is convenient for me to take out meat and fish). For the first time, my husband also cooked with us, I was afraid to press a button (this is how I am a cook), but right now, cooking is a pleasure! Your wife will have more free time (or vice versa - less: she wants to cook a lot of goodies).
sparta
dmutro, the saucepan is very good ... I hope the saucepan will last a long time (as long as a month, like new).

Girls tell me, is it true that in dex 65 the bowl is 0.5 liters less than in 60? So in the correspondence said a supplier in one online store. I understand that in the characteristics both models are 4l, but maybe in practice it is?
sparta
vtusya, now specially measured the volume of the bowl in liters. 4 liters to the eyeballs (under the sides), the recommended last division of the bowl is 8 CUP = 3 liters. That is, 3, 5 liters of liquid can be prepared safely in it.
For dex-60 ask in another topic.
Vinnitsa
I have Dex-60, if you pour the ready-made borscht into another pan, then we get a three-liter pan of the finished dish.
Lucky_ua
I very much apologize for my question a little off topic. Ordered dex 65 + blender as a gift. All the same, there was some doubt that I made a not quite right choice, especially that there were more jambs in dex. I’m just wondering who, when I bought dex 65, considered options such as philips 3036, polaris 0517 (the 3rd revision here have corrected a lot of jambs in comparison with previous versions), polaris 0515. If you considered, why did you choose dex 65? Or what other options were there?

I'm also very suspicious of nature, after buying a multi for another month I re-read reviews about other models, suddenly I miscalculated. But now I cook in Dex65 and have a good time. Considering its PRICE (excluding the gift), a normal cartoon. It's just that over time you adapt to each mode and product, but this stage with all the cartoons must be passed. When you start cooking, just look at it :-). My requirements are milk porridge, mashed potatoes, gravy, yogurt performs with a bang, given my experience.
But with a gift for the cartoon, you were more happy, I ordered with a music cube, played for a couple of days and put it down, the blender would be more interesting. But I've been doing it for a month now :-)

I have not yet decided between dex and phillips 3036. Very similar ....... in phillips the brand itself is more attractive. Previously, yabrend dex was equated with Saturn or Vitek, to which I personally have no trust at all. But specifically, filtering the multicooker, I concluded that dex # 1 is in the multicooker.

You still read the reviews about Dex and Phillips and compare. I also chose the cartoon in the fall, and since you stopped at Philips. It was still a promotional event. But thanks to the members of the forum for the good advice and I changed my mind and took the dex, but I have 60th. Happy as an elephant!

In general, tomorrow should have arrived. On time ordered the rate jumped sharply, the price increased by almost 100. People please tell me how and what to check when to pick up from the point of issue.
sparta
Lucky_ua, I considered many options. I bought the first multicooker - DEX-65, then it so happened that I sent it back, glitches were off scale. ... For several weeks I was looking for a new cartoon. Well, I did not find analogues of this model (value for money) and those programs that I need. There are many copies, but everything is not right ... either there is no manual mode, then the quality is not right, then the price is several orders of magnitude higher ... I shoveled the Internet, in search of a multi for myself ... I realized that not all multicooker is "ideal" , there are many other firms with problems.
We took a chance ... Bought this same model again. I'm glad!!! I don't need anything else anymore!
sparta
Lucky_ua, the most important thing is the bowl so that it is scratch-free. The appearance is multi- without traces of use and defects. Check the rest at home. Congratulations on the right choice !!!

Ol, I like reading your posts so much - you are such an optimist well done, stay that way always
And most importantly, you can immediately see that you are very happy with your cartoon.
sparta
Ira, that's a compliment! Thank you! In fact, I am a pessimist with an optimistic attitude in life. I "brought up" an optimistic attitude about 15 years ago, when I heard the golden phrase on TV: "You can find something good in everything bad." In general, always and in everything you need to look for positive moments ...
Well, I'm really very happy with the cartoon! It is easy to turn all its "disadvantages" into advantages, the main thing is to find the key. I will never part with a mule because of these delicious easy-to-cook pies, biscuits on boiling water, cheesecakes!
ledi
Olya, what do you cook in manual mode. I have never cooked anything and don't really know how to use it
sparta
Ver, most often, I melt butter for further baking in the same saucepan ... I boil milk ... I fry mushrooms ... For me, the manual mode has not yet been explored, but in fact, using this mode, you can cook everything ... the main thing is to know the cooking temperature ...
Vaughn Lena (Alisa-Topol) ferments yeast dough for further baking ... I want to try to make yogurt on hand
Lucky_ua
The multicooker was sent, but the blender did not come. I didn't take it out of principle. If they don't send the blender, I'll order it elsewhere. Everyone in our country wants to cash in =) I hope they will send it tomorrow!
Dimidrolik84
Give it up before it's too late, it’s buggy, and I’m still broke and spits everything out through the valve in rice mode before that everything was fine 'so I think now why we have such quality

When I was buying. There was a juice extractor as a gift, too, I think it's the same Mr.

I'm boiling milk ...
And you can, in more detail, how many degrees do you set, do you close the lid or look after it like on a stove?
sparta
Vanilla, I take purchased milk from the freezer (a friend treats us once a month with a large number of milk cartons, I freeze it.) I take a piece of ice-cold milk 500 ml., in a multicooker, I set the manual mode to 100 degrees, with the lid closed for 15 minutes. During this time, the milk is thawed and brought to a boil.
If regular milk from the refrigerator, then I think 10-12 minutes will be enough.
Consider also that my milk volume is small (I don't need it anymore). If there is more volume, I would unscrew the valve ... well, for the first time, I often looked under the lid of the multicooker ...
Vanilla
Thanks, boom experimenting. This is the most pressing topic for me now.
dmutro

Yesterday I received a multicooker. First of all, I drove it out in "steam" mode, although there was no strong smell of plastic.
Then he made a cupcake. It was baked normally, although it was necessary to add more sugar.

Today I made buckwheat. Everything was as expected - it took about 10 minutes to prepare. Therefore, I fried the onions separately in a frying pan and added stew. Then he poured it into the buckwheat and finished it on the "stewing" mode.
Now the question about water,
The instructions say that if there are 4 measuring glasses, then water up to the level of 4 CUP. But I poured 2.5 multi-glasses and topped up the water, up to the level of 2.5 CUP on the risks in the saucepan it turned out that I only refilled 3 glasses.
So how correcto- according to the classic "1 to 2" or is it still necessary to focus on these risks in a saucepan?
Vanilla
Today I made buckwheat on "rice" - 1 multi-glass of buckwheat and water up to 2cup. It turned out perfect. I will definitely not fool around with the "buckwheat" mode.

Hey. I like 1 to 2 more, to cook buckwheat exactly on "buckwheat" followed by a 15-minute "income" of porridge on heating, or, in extreme cases (if you need a quick-cooked porridge), turn on the "buckwheat" program again. And there, be guided by your taste. Honestly, I didn't quite understand these CAPs ... a very large volume of ready-made porridge turns out.

I am making yogurt today, I remembered that I promised to measure the temperature, after 1 hour and 10 minutes (I didn't remember before) the water temperature was 38 degrees, after 2.5 hours it was the same. How accurately the thermometer shows - I don't know, I have alcohol, gradation from 0 to 150 degrees.
sparta
Eva3, Thank you! My temperature on yoghurt is 43 degrees, and on manual mode, 40 degrees, it is multi-42 inside. Well, I got attached to this error, the last time I did fermented baked milk with the valve removed ... it worked!
Eva3
I pour water flush with milk in a container (usually I either put 5 granchak glasses or 2 glasses and 1 jar of 0.5 liters, the only non-standard, slightly lower than the usual ones). The temperature was measured with the lid open, so it is possible that when the lid is closed it will be more by a degree or two. And taking into account the working temperature of the starter culture, everything always turned out great.

Well, it’s you in vain. Dex is a good company, it is not necessary to blacken all their devices because of a not entirely successful one model. I personally have a cartoon Dex60, a great thing, they have scales and a stationary mixer Dexovsky, everything works fine, and plus - a 24 month exchange guarantee for each of the units. If your cartoon breaks down, even after 20 months, you will be given a completely new one instead, or they will change to another option, if not available, or the money will be returned. Which company can boast of this?

Apparently, soon DEH-su will have nothing to brag about. As they say "now Mirgorod is not the same, Khorol is not the river ....". There was DEKH and all went out. Now it is "driven" by a completely different manufacturer.
Mona1
Well then, those who previously stocked them up are just very lucky.
Vanilla
Well, I don’t know why this model was completely neglected. The baking turns out, does not burn, the yogurt is excellent (I realized that my yoghurt maker is not very good, I hid it), the rice is cooked, the steam works (even if the countdown starts right away, but everything is cooked), nothing sticks to the saucepan, everything is washed conveniently , milk porridge does not run away. In my opinion, at the moment this is not the worst cartoon in this price category. If only it worked as long as the old Dexies.

Yes, no one says that it is bad, we just expected DEH to release a model even better than the previous ones. And so DEH 65 is no worse than Polaris, Scarlet. And while pleasant bonuses are coming to it, it is worth buying. You can cook in any multicooker, and after purchasing it, your model will seem to you the best. Good luck to you !!!!

DEX 65 is no worse than Polaris, Scarlet, Delfa, that is, in the price limit 200-500 UAH

And where do the 65s give out for that kind of money?

IMHO multicooker up to 500 UAH. - this is UG
Vanilla
When choosing, I also compared with Polaris, Redmond, Philips, but not Delph ...
sparta
I was hiding ... I read, I read, as they write that Dex has gone bad ... I crawl out. Perhaps after the 60s - yes, the model became worse due to glitches ... but the quality of the cartoon in general is very worth it and spits out these 700-800 UAH. (minus the gift). The exchange guarantee, the set of functions, the quality of the saucepan and the insides - all taken together give a very good multicooker. I repeat, after the first Dexa-65 I was looking for a replacement for a long time in the price category up to 1000 - there are no such multicooker. (well, also my opinion as a consumer, not an expert)
Kazimira
Reading not very comforting reviews, I still bought a dex 65 today. To I did not have a multicooker before, I hope it will not disappoint me))

Today I kneaded the bread, put the “manual” mode of 30 degrees on the proofing, after 45 the world looked in - the dough came up to zero, touched it, everything was cold, put it on the same mode at 40 degrees, start - the clicks began, it works. Turned off, again at 30, again silence .... Is this how it should be? Does the saucepan need to warm up at least a little? Or is it a special mode of using room temperature?
sparta
Natashato draw conclusions, run the cartoon idle on the water in manual mode 30 degrees. In fact, if our body temperature is 36.6, then the water should be cool (if there is no thermometer).
It's funny. I tested my cartoon. In manual mode. 30 degrees. In the first 5 minutes, the pan warmed up to 38 degrees. So, everything is in order with your cartoon, but I have a wonderful regime for yogurt. There is no way to test any further, I run away ...
My husband laughs, says that all technology does not like me. People are like people, and I have a second cartoon with errors ... But I don't care
Eva3
And today I tested the manual mode, after 45 minutes the water temperature was 28 degrees. I switched it on again, after 3 minutes the temperature was the same and remained.

But even then the bread turned out
Multicooker Dex DMC 65 (reviews)
Eva3
Well, why is it useless, when now the kitchen has a maximum of 20-22, then it is quite normal, especially the manufacturer declared 30, + - I think a couple of degrees is quite normal, all the more the error of the thermometer is not excluded.
And the bread was really great
