You need to get used to barley a little. It is advisable to soak and rinse well. If you need to quickly, try on the "buckwheat" mode, just make sure that the foam does not run through the valve :-). On the "milk porridge" mode it is possible, only then 3-4 hours are necessary.
yaroslav3030
I already tried it !!! It turned out. On the "Buckwheat" mode. I read it. what if rinse badly. all will fly out through the valve. washed ten times, overnight in water. In the morning a little onion, fried carrots, pearl barley and on the "Buckwheat" mode and left on business. After the regime, it remained heated for another 30-40 minutes. It turned out great. True, unusually soft. Used to in the army, they called buckwheat porridge "Shrapnel". The valve is clean.
As I understand it, you need to thoroughly rinse any cereal, do not spare the water. Then it will not fly off the valve.
Girls who made meat, tell us how to make boiled pork. baked meat. bird, something like that.
Natalitska
Hello everyone! I am also a happy owner of dex 65. I am especially pleased with the "Buckwheat" mode, only I use it for making pasta. Everything is very simple, I fried the meat in frying, added tomato sauce, add spices, pasta and boiling water !! mix, turn off frying and set buckwheat. The display will show that there are 8 minutes left until the end of cooking. Ready-made macronuts, undigested and in a very tasty sauce

I am waiting for your recipes for cooking meat: boiled pork, baked meat or similar! Prepared borsch, liver. Everything is fine.! Fish cutlets, from the recipe book turned out to be very tasty.

I prepare a roll from an apron like this: beat off the meat, salt, pepper, wrap it in a roll (you can put minced meat in the middle, you can put prunes, which I really like), tie with a thread, add a little water and stew for 2-2.5 hours.
Vinnitsa
Who loves, you can pre-fry the roll.

Girls, finally I became the happy owner of a cartoon. The only thing that upset me was that when wiping off the lid from the glue left after the sticker, circular traces remained from the sponge (its soft part!). I'm shocked. I just couldn't peel off this glue, I suffered for about 20 minutes! And then (why didn't I immediately rush to the Internet?) The girls suggested - vegetable oil. And, oh gods, 10 seconds is done! I wrote it on purpose, maybe someone will use the advice: the glue from the stickers is wiped off with vegetable oil! Good luck.
Irinasan
And so far, on a guarantee, I do not tear anything off, so that later no one finds fault
wmw55
For a year now, the stickers do not affect anything and do not interfere in any way.
yaroslav3030
Today I cooked buckwheat. After reading a lot of negativity, I was afraid. which I can't do either. Everything worked out great! Did 1: 2, on the "Buckwheat" mode. I tried it right away and was ready. Gave another 20 minutes on "Heating". It turned out great, crumbly. Probably fixed the existing errors in this mode.
True, the soups are not very good yet. More like non-stewed vegetables. A lot of filler stock is visible. Nothing, I'll get used to it. Most importantly, the food is less dietary. Minimum oil required.
Next. I'll try rice.
Nataly
I join wmw55, I have a multicooker for more than a year, I did not touch the stickers. Not peeled off, not faded, works great.

For me, this is a loud squeak when the buttons are pressed and the end of cooking (woke up the sleeping child), the cover of the pan, no matter how the shore, still a year later, peeling dots appeared inside. But I don't want another cartoon, I learned to cook deliciously with it.

Girls, have seen DEX DMC 71 and DEX DMC-70 on De * ks * line - five-liter pearlescent beauties?

Both have 13 temperature modes 100-160 ° C (step 5 ° C) and on the Manual program 29 temperature modes 30-170 ° C (step 5 ° C). The power of both is 850 (I think 10 W is not essential).

A couple of days ago I looked at the price of 71, it was 1999 UAH, in 2 days - 2500 UAH.

Good day! All lovely cooks with the past holiday of spring and femininity !!!
And now the question ??? A little over a year, the happy owner of Dex-65, and yesterday discovered that the current time has ceased to be displayed on the screen. I turned it on, set the time, unplugged it from the outlet, after a while the screen went out, time is not shown. Who faced this, what to do, where to change the batteries ??
Scully_x
Good day! Girls, tell me how you get out. As I did not open the lid, the condensate still gets inside the heating element during cooking and when a drop gets such a hissing sound. Every time I worry that it will end in tears, but is it possible? I already abruptly opened the lid, and slowly, the result is one (
Luceria
Scully_x, I put a paper napkin, twisted several times, into the base of the lid - the condensation gets on the paper and is quickly absorbed. Napkins can be changed.
Scully_x
Oh, thanks for the hint, I'll try this)

I have more than a year, the same thing (probably you need to change the battery) but if you do not have it to show the current time and do not use ex. start, you shouldn't go inside, I think
Nataly
Thank you wmw55. Yes, I think it's not worth climbing, let's be patient. If anything, delayed start, I will set the time before cooking.

I am the owner of 2 multi-cookers dex 65. Before that I was Dex 60. I couldn't get enough of it. Everything about her was great. Baking is generally above all praise. I took her wherever I was. She refused the stove altogether. Electric. But our grandmother arrived and the cord hit the stove. And our multi is no longer. (((Burned out. I started looking for the same one. But there were only 65 models. I bought it without hesitation. It was a year ago. 2014. Everything worked fine except for the extract. It didn’t work at all. After the 60th model, a complete disappointment. Well, baking is like that. and began to bake in the oven there were no more problems with it. Buckwheat works fine as expected. This year I buy exactly the same model dex 65 for the dacha. I check all modes. Immediately checked the buckwheat. There is a problem. Baking also does not come out. All the rest is fine. And yet the 60 model was the best. It is a pity that it was discontinued.

I also have a 65-ton - it seems in the last model - 5 liter - the buckwheat mode was corrected (although I also have buckwheat for "rice") baking has never failed - I bake bread regularly

Burnt out cartoon or cord?
Zayulechka
The cord was fried, and the slow cooker ordered to live long. No longer plugged into another cord. Only growls when turned on and everything is quiet.

5 liters is in 67 models, in 65 there are 4 liters. Buckwheat can be adapted to other programs, but I don’t know what to do with baking. Sorry for the products. Already translated so much. The dough is raw inside and that's it. And the bottom burns. I don't open it. I will stay for more. I won't just leave you alone. ))) Just taking from experience with 60 model. Everything was always there without problems.

Zayulechka, exchange the cartoon, 2 years exchange guarantee.
Nataly
Good people, my favorite cartoon stopped working right during cooking and refuses to turn on. What to do? where to go?
sparta
Natasha, 2 years have passed since the purchase? If not, write - first knock on the site where you bought the cartoon, then on the manufacturer's site. If yes, then contact the dexa service center in our city on Lenin Avenue, 🔗
Nataly
Thank you. No two years have passed, 1.9 in total. But she didn't knock. I went to the service, the first one that came across, repaired. Listen, for two days the multi was not without hands, so we got used to the assistant, horror
sparta
Repaired under warranty, or took money for repairs?
Nataly
For money. When I called immediately there was an answer under the guarantee they do not repair. And besides, they recently pinched the box and threw it away, so only I can tell its age, but there are no documents.
jigger
Can you tell me, dear multi-cookers and multi-cookers, how long the clock is clearly visible on the display of the cartoon disconnected from the network? Already after 5 minutes, if you remove the plug from the socket, the clock is almost invisible. Is that how it should be?
sparta
I haven't used my cartoon for a year. Got it - time does not show. Disappeared ... The first time I turned on the cartoon, they appeared, but as you write, after 5 minutes the disconnections from the outlet went out ... And so there were 5 inclusions ... At the 6th hour they stopped going out ... Now everything is fine, I use the cartoon often
Nataly
Good day. Tell me who boiled milk in a slow cooker, on what mode and how long? Thank you.
Nomad
If the clock goes out, the battery is probably exhausted. I remember when I took apart my cartoon I saw it on the board, a round "tablet", something like CR2032 or CR3032, but I don’t remember it in the connector or sealed.
sparta
It seems to me that this is not a simple battery. I think there is a battery in the cartoon. As a result, my clock started working and stopped going out? Although I will not argue ...

Friends, tell me, please. Firstly, are there steel / glass / ceramic dishes for this model (Dex DMC 65) - with the aim of purchasing in addition? Secondly, if not, what is your attitude towards the Teflon / some kind of non-stick coating of that saucepan that comes with the package? He made a gift, but the joy did not last long, because it turned out that the doctor who gave it to the person was strictly forbidden by the doctor and added that all this is carcinogenic, that they refuse it all over the world, replacing it with ceramics or just steel ... Maybe someone has studied, and there is adequate, impartial information on this? Thank you

I have DEX 60, I cook on stewing.
pandorray
Marina22thanks for the hint!
On a whim, she put it on extinguishing, and then doubted.
How long do you cook? I threw 1 leg and put it on for an hour, do you think that's enough?
Marina22
I cook for about an hour. Look at the meat.

At one time I bother, I dug the Internet, I read a bunch of forums, but I did not find a definite answer. The only thing I remembered for sure, the ceramic coating, so advertised as bio, eco, etc., such as harmless, in fact, it is not the same ceramics (clay) in the usual sense for us, but the same coating as Teflon, Tefal, etc. Which of them is more harmful or harmless is an open question. Spat on this whole thing. The main thing is if the coating is of high quality and does not slip off with a stocking (there is such an experience with a sandwich). For 2 years of active use of the multicooker, no special problems were noticed, there are several points on the bottom, but not shabby, but as if the unevenness is slightly felt with your fingers. Stainless steel is possibly more environmentally friendly, provided that it is made of high quality food grade steel. But with a ceramic coating after the experiment with a frying pan (cool, German, died, that is, everything began to stick, literally after half a year of not so active use), I don't want to get involved anymore. My opinion is to use and not bother. Change the saucepan once a year for reliability.
yaroslav3030
Good day. I use the DEX-65 multicooker. Tell me. what the divisions mean (closed lock, open lock, arrow) on the steam valve. How and when to display them correctly. What do they mean.
Thank you

to unwind the valve and flush it inside.

"Natalia K." thanks for the answer. Specify when to cook to turn on the closed lock or on the arrow?
