She behaves well (already 2 years ago). Only you need to take the net purely from the fishing line, otherwise there are fiberglass nets doused with plastic.

Hmm, I'll have to look for such a grid too. Yesterday I received five additional trays ordered additionally - so for them the net will have to be found, since branded nets are good, but very expensive

She behaves well - tested by her own experience But it is very convenient to remove the chips, and small change and greens (parsley and others) do not fall through the grates.

A photo of the net will not be difficult to lay out, if possible? We have all sorts of nets in bulk in our markets, but they are all kind of ... soft or something. Will it not curl when heated?
Admin

Well, it's hard to tell from the photo. Buy a mesh for several pieces of pallets, then decide for yourself which one is better and suits you best
marinka-korzinka
Can you please tell me if you can use silicone mats in the dryer? I want to cut and dry the marshmallow, and indeed everything so that it does not stick
DJ
marinka-korzinka I dried Zemler, I dried on baking paper. And then more than one marshmallow, could not put. since the upper compartments practically did not get air
Elenka
Girls, and I made marshmallows on paper at 4-5 levels at once. Dried quickly, I still swapped them.

Recently I bought a second dryer and it also had no nets and large holes in the trays. The instructions advise to put on pallets gauze... I tried and very I do not advise... because the gauze sticks tightly, especially to sweet foods, and even the villi remain.
In the first dryer, I cut out the circles from the window mesh - the fishing line. on the second there was no such mesh, but I had a piece of tulle (nylon) made of it, I'm also happy. Now everything is dried on nets and tomatoes, and apples are removed without any problems.

On, the sample cut out trays for marshmallow from soft cutting boards. I can report how they will behave only in mid-August.
In terms of size, the board is 30X38, that is, a little bit lacking on both sides. I cut out two "patches" for pallets - will they be useful or not
ariadnax
Ladies, I bought my mom Vinis a month ago, I come, but she almost didn’t dry anything - the instructions say not to put anything like fabric, paper - mom is afraid, only dries apples.
Are you not afraid that something will happen from overheating?

But what about the fact that when cooking marshmallows, some of the syrup will flow into the heating element? It can not be? Otherwise, I didn't really understand the technology ...

I have a Summer Resident. I tried it in different ways:
1) cut out additional nets from the mosquito nets according to the size of the nets - in principle, for a thick pastila it is normal, it is difficult to tear off, but it is possible; I definitely use it when drying everything else Dried strawberry chips, tomato chips
2) I tried not cutting boards, but such plastic substrates on the table - I threw it out - I removed the marshmallow with paint or plastic, I don't know;
3) the apple puree was quite liquid - I decided all the same the parchment - I didn't fasten anything with a stapler, because I cut it out clearly around the perimeter, but I also easily greased the sides with oil - I didn't change it in places - everything is removed more or less normally, especially if you moisten the parchment behind. I used one parchment twice. I think maybe more will turn out.
In short, in the case of the Summer Resident - parchment is the best option, i.e. because the size of the tray matches the size of the parchment

I tried the pallets. The only non-convenience, since they do not have sides, the marshmallow should not be very liquid.

Thank you all, and especially Admin, for all your recipes.
I also bought myself an Isidri dryer and now I am not overjoyed at it. For dried candied fruits and now I dry apple marshmallow.
And I want to write about the pallets, how I got out of the situation. I took a lid from a large plastic bucket (10L), cut out the middle like a dryer, cut off the sides a little lower, and that's it, they just fit the dryer in diameter and nothing sticks to them. If the marshmallow flows, then for the first time I put down the factory pallet and everything flows onto it, and then I fill it. So far I am making four pallets this way.
BlackHairedGirl
I'll tell you how I did without pallets. I didn’t buy marshmallow pallets for a banal reason - they were not on sale at that time. I made marshmallows on baking paper. In case someone wants to repeat my experience, I will say that the consistency of the marshmallow was like a thick jam. There was almost no liquid in it, because I boiled the berries, drained the juice and rolled them up separately. And the resulting cake with sugar was ground with a blender. She was reinsured and smeared baking paper with vegetable oil, using a sponge. Although my paper is proven and reliable, but you never know. First time after all. I spread it one and a half cm before reaching the center. holes, and 0.5 cm from the edges. Everything is fine, the marshmallow did not stick. I used the paper many times. In the topic about the dryer, Isidri laid out a photo of a tray with paper and a dried roll of pastille. Conclusion - I will not spend crazy money on pallets!
I also want to add - the pastilles dried faster on paper than on a regular pallet.
abris
I'm a beginner, my drying is a breeze. It has no hole in the center. Please share, if anyone has experience how to dry in such a marshmallow, where will the air from the fan go?
Pastila is the main product of my processing, because I make it from waste after processing juice from a juicer.
And one more thing: parchment, baking paper - are they the same thing, or is there real leather parchment and you need to look for it?
Has anyone tried to use silicone baking tins? or foil baking dishes?

On sale there is parchment for baking, rolls in a package. This is not leather! It is a thin paper made especially for baking. It is sold in household departments, where various items for baking, foil, etc.

The essence of the marshmallow is to spread the fruit mixture in a very thin layer on drying plates, therefore they use parchment, special. trays so that liquid from the fruit mixture does not spill down the pallets. Check out recipes for marshmallows, how it looks and is done.

Baking tins made of foil are both high and deep; in such forms, a thin candy will not work.
abris
Tatiana, and we sell shallow (2.5 cm) and wide (30-35 cm in diameter) silicone molds. I want to try, but the question is, in principle, is it not harmful for the device? The layer can be expanded and a thin one, but can a marshmallow be obtained, or will the form heat up poorly from below?
Admin

Standard trays for marshmallows for dryers provide for a height of only about 1 cm. This means that the fruit mass for the marshmallows is poured even less so that it does not overflow. This height of the sides is done so that the mass is well ventilated, blown over with warm air and dries faster due to a thin layer of berries.
Try to buy one form and play with it, how it will behave, how it will dry, maybe the edges need to be trimmed, and so on, then conclusions can be drawn

Good day to all. Do you think disposable plates are suitable for drying pastilles?

You need to take a plate, pour the fruit mass into it with a THIN layer and put it to dry. You don't have to make a lot of marshmallow, you can make one plate and see what happens. Pastila can be made now in winter, there are recipes for pastilles in the section

Thanks for the answer, I understood the technology, I have doubts about the plates themselves, it is clear that they are food-grade, but then there is heating, so I'm toiling

Isn't it impossible to drink tea and coffee from them, put hot meat? Food is food, drying fruit is food! The main thing is that the packaging says "food"

I came across this topic, I wanted to speak out, sorry if someone does not like my opinion. All the years I have processed my fruits and vegetables without a dryer in a variety of ways, including making marshmallows and, of course, drying everything. Exhausted !!! I tried everything to make my job easier (various boards, pallets, paper, foil, etc., etc., practically everything described here), all the same - sheer torment! Now the dust was blown, then the wind blew away, then the rain suddenly poured, then the mashed potatoes flowed, etc.
2012 saw an unprecedented fruit harvest. Was engaged in processing, without exaggeration, almost days all summer. How many apples I handed out, I hardly added, because almost all my friends had their own harvest. Then I was overcome by thoughts. How to be? The harvest is a pity. Himself too. We need to do something! I decided that there was only one way out - to buy a dryer. Here, and the long winter days arrived. I began to "leaf through" the Internet, including "Bread Maker. Ru". I came to the conclusion that the best dryer is Isidrai. Here, I must say, the opinion of Tatiana-Admin played a big role. Looked at the price - wow! In stores, dryers are much cheaper. In general, I studied this topic for more than one day, by the spring I was "ripe" for purchase. I found regional representatives from Izidrai, and decided to buy a good assistant. I bought more trays for marshmallow and nets for the dryer. Expensive? Why buy a dryer and then "pop in" with drying accessories? It's all the same extra spending on consumables, and most importantly - what kind of ease of work? Whether it is factory nets and trays, nothing can replace them! And all questions and doubts disappear by themselves. All this can be bought gradually over the course of a year, spending 200-400 rubles a month, assemble the kit and really enjoy the dryer, which will delight you for many years!
I do not pretend to be true, this is just my opinion and position in life. If you bought an item, be ready to provide it with accessories.
I beg your pardon for intervening!
Admin

Irinka, THANKS for your own opinion It may be correct and decisive
Alim
Yes, if disposable plates are good for hot meals, then they will. Plates made of foil and oiled tracing paper are also suitable.
anele0707
Merri, everything that you wrote - yes, everything is correct, great, only your words "if you bought a thing, be ready to provide it with accessories" is out of place - for example, they gave me a drying parent and I don't want to upset them. I myself was going to buy Isidri, and the funds have already been allocated. Therefore, you have to come up with something and ask, and it's good that someone offers their own solutions to the problem.
I will try on disposable plates.
Merri
Elena, I in no way wanted to offend anyone! If you accidentally became the owner of the wrong thing that you dreamed of, try to enjoy communicating with her no matter what. It is better to dry food on the trays that are available, it is easier and safer to do so than to adapt things created for other purposes. Are you sure that disposable plates do not emit anything harmful during prolonged contact with food at high temperatures? It's great that your dryer you don't like has no trays. There is a reason, without offending parents, who gave a gift with a pure soul, to buy another dryer, which has everything and you like it.
anele0707
Merri, in no way offended, everything is in order. It's just that I don't have any trays at all, so I thought about the plates so as not to bother with paper. In general, I think that I will buy trays from Isidri, and then how will it go.
Anchytka
anele0707, this summer I tried to dry the pastille on parchment paper, made from rhubarb and strawberries. Since I smeared the strawberries with a thin layer, I could not remove them from the paper at all. For drying the next batch, I adapted silicone baking mats (cut them out in the shape of pallets), although I had to turn the marshmallow to dry the inside out, but then it was removed from the mat with a bang!

Use the link 🔗 and see other people's experiences with drying marshmallows, including homemade drying rack molds

And see what a sheet-pallet for marshmallow looks like from the isidri dryer

Drying grids and pastille plates - what can be replaced?

Thin sheet, with edges curved upward to prevent the fruit mixture from flowing down onto the heating element.
anele0707
Thank you all for your answers. I will, most likely, purchase a sheet-pallet for isidri marshmallows.
Alenka @
Of course they will. Only where to get it so that the diameter is decent.
mur_myau
anele0707,
In order not to search the forums for a long time.
I had a dryer initially without any trays, and the shape of the pallet is non-standard, closer to rectangular, the shape from other dryers is not suitable. But I needed this particular model, so I bought it, and then took up the "perversions" with the manufacture of trays.

I strongly advise the method with a pattern, otherwise the finished homemade sheets will turn out to be crooked (I've tried it already).

Two methods, both are successful. Third in plan.

1. Circle the tray on paper, minus 1 cm from the edge and 0.5 cm from the hole in the center. You can help yourself with a compass or a template. Cut out the form, transfer to cardboard, so that later it would be easier to work. The mold is reusable, you can make many sheets for marshmallows.
2. Method times. Cut out from a silicone mat. Method two. Cut from thin polypropylene cutting boards. Method three. We use a teflon mesh for baking.

I liked the silicone mat, it sticks easily. But it is flexible, it is impossible to spread it in advance. It is necessary to put on a pallet, then smear with mashed potatoes.
With the boards, too, nothing, although they need to be oiled (only you need to cut out with very sharp kitchen scissors). But they are tough, they can be mashed on the table and then transferred to a pallet.
Now I want to try with the mesh, I already bought it.

And there was an option with fiberglass sheets for baking from silicomart, but the toad did not give it.)) They are very expensive in themselves to spoil them like that. But they do combine the ease with which silicone comes off and the stiffness of a cutting board. Maybe someday I will decide on this ...

All self-made sheets have one drawback: there is no side !!! But if you smear the puree thinner and not to the very edge, then everything will be fine.

You can write in support, maybe you can measure trays from Isidri. Then 100% certainty that they will be compatible.

Basically, my first marshmallow was on baking paper. The first time it stuck, the second time I smeared it with vegetable oil, and everything was Ok. Good luck and delicious marshmallow !!!

Merri,
Everything is fine, and it seems to be correct, if only not this mentor tone ...

Girls who made the nets for the dryer from nets for windows (fishing line), how did they process the edges? She crawls away. Regarding the silicone marshmallow mat - is it possible how to glue the strips along the edges from below (so that the edge rises), only with this
mur_myau
natushka,
There is silicone glue, somewhere in the topic about yonanas there was a photo of the glued seal and the tube with glue itself.

It seems to me that it is not necessary to glue the side, but to make triangular notches in 3-4 places and fix them, then the edge will tighten and rise, like a plate (something like mini undercuts, notches, whoever sews understood). I figured it out on paper, I'll try to implement it. You just need to buy such glue.

Yes, there is such a glue-silicone RTV-118Q, but expensive + shipping. Today I will receive silicone rugs and turn them, maybe I will really just fasten them with threads. And I made the nets - I bought a more dense mesh made of fishing line for the windows, applied a contour and swept it on the machine, then cut it out, it turned out fine, only at the first drying there was a little smell.

natushka, I have a grid for windows. Does not creep. But the mesh is not cheap either. And there was no smell either during the first or subsequent drying.
Girls, and I dried the pastille at 80 * C in the oven on ordinary plastic bags, until I had silicone rugs. Nothing is done with them - they do not melt even at 100 * - I checked.
anele0707
Good afternoon, something is my first message. did not go. In general, I dried the greens - I dried them like this - I put cheesecloth on the lower tray and nothing woke up on the fan. Girls thank you all for the advice.
anele0707
By the way, another little idea from the available means. Cut the circles out of the "baking sleeve" - after all, we bake chicken and others in them and nothing is done with them and there is no smell, the truth will be without sides.

We have only 2 types - one of the fishing line (which I bought), the second is some kind of soft sticky, easily torn, I don't even know how to write.

What is she - only the certificate of conformity of the material and purpose will prompt, which can only be provided by the seller himself! This is a mandatory supplement to the product from the manufacturer.

All nets of this purpose have a technical purpose, not food! Therefore, when buying such nets, we go at our own peril and risk, using this material for cooking, in contact with food and at a high temperature in the dryer, these materials can release unwanted chemicals, which will impregnate pastilles and other products during drying.

Keep this in mind when using nets made from secondary technical materials.

Special nets can be purchased from Isidri, and adjust them to fit your dryer... Or buy nets from other dryer sellers.
Orcabastarda
I didn't formulate the question quite correctly. I wanted to ask what material it is from the author of the post, who (s) has been successfully using it for several years. In order to request a certificate of conformity on the market, you must at least know what material you are looking for)) Then find the technical characteristics of this material - so there will be no fear and risk, since you will know the maximum temperature for this material.
And for Isidrai, I would gladly buy nets, they are made of polypropylene, but only they are round, and I have a rectangular El Ross. I’m afraid it’s going to have to be cut very hard, and a small piece will remain in the middle ... Are there rectangular dryers with nets?
Orcabastarda
In general, I figured out this question myself) I hasten to share what I found, that is, what can be used to replace the nets and pallets, especially if the shape of the dryer is non-standard and all these things from Isidrai are not suitable for it:

We found everything you need on aliexpress.com, that is, in China, where all this, in most cases, is produced))

1. Pallet for pastille
Search for Fiber Baking Mat (or Silicon Baking Mat). For example, it is located like this:
🔗

Nothing sticks, easy to clean, cut to shape, withstands 260 degrees.

2. Grids
Looking for Teflon Mesh Cloth. For example, this:
🔗

The nets are from the manufacturer, they can make ANY mesh length, width and size for your choice.

The materials are absolutely safe and used in the food industry.

5 "pallets" and 5 "nets" of the size I needed cost me 700 rubles with delivery to Moscow.
As they come and I will try them out - I will unsubscribe with photos!

Thanks for the information! Now we will wait for feedback in practice
Lyubanka
This year I also became the owner of the dryer, and the question also arose how can I dry the pastille? I took an ordinary cellophane bag, but more dense, they cut off the pink ones from us and folded them in a cone on the side and cut out the middle and edges a little more than the main circle and the middle a little less than necessary so that it would not spill into the bottom or along the edges, greased with oil, laid out the mass and I leveled it with a spoon and a day later I had a ready-made marshmallow making peaches + prunes + apples. Small berries and raisins dry on a mosquito netting which, it is different, I took which is tighter before cutting it, it is necessary to wash it several times, it sits down heavily, cut out squares larger than my potdons without a hole in the middle and dry on them. Maybe someone will come in handy.
