Bean mix with sausages in a slow cooker

Ingredients

beans of 4-5 types
sausages, smoked meats
spices, salt, herbs
tomato paste or ketchup

Cooking method

  • Our favorite dish. Every time a new impromptu turns out. This time I did Dex-40 in SV.
  • I took 4 types of beans: large, small, medium (white) and medium colored. In general, about 2 glasses. Soaked it overnight, it was already quite hard.
  • In the morning in SV I set it to 12 minutes. together with water. Poured water 2 fingers above the beans.
  • Shredded onion with carrots on Berner and lightly fried.
  • The beans are just ready. I opened the lid, put the roast and chopped sausages there. I had: smoked ribs, 2 types of dry sausages, sausages, finely chopped smoked pork ears (we sell such beer sets). Salted and pepper. I cut the greens to taste and a couple of tablespoons of ketchup (I usually add pasta, but I didn't have it). I bet for another 3min. Everything is ready!

I wrote the recipe almost schematically. Once in a Czech restaurant I tried such a dish and really liked it. You can take any kind of beans and any kind of sausages. A very satisfying dish. And then soak the remaining sauce with bread.

True, sausage-sausages don't live at home, they don't eat them. But I think that all this can be replaced with meat. Of course, the smoked taste will not smell ...

And I have a question. The topic is called "Mixed beans with sausages in a slow cooker". And you write that you put the beans to cook in the microwave: "In the morning, I set it at 12 minutes in the SV". Is SV a microwave oven? Or is it a pressure cooker? Am I getting it right?

I cooked something like that on the stove, but not in the multicooker. But it should turn out great! Soft beans, boiled smoked meats. And ketchup seems to me more worthy here than tomato paste. I will definitely prepare such a dish. It’s a pity for the nursing mother’s daughter-in-law while this cannot be eaten. I don't want to tempt.

Yes, Zoya is a Dex-40 pressure cooker. Ksyushka, thank you for your prompt response.

It's just that the whole tsimus of this dish is in different types of sausages and smoked meats. It will be good with meat, too, but the crumb is not so.

You can also add beans. The more varieties of everything, the richer and tastier the dish.
