Chicken muffins "steamed" in a multicooker DEX 50

Steamed chicken muffins in a multicooker DEX 50

Ingredients

Chicken fillet 1 PC.
weighing about 500 g
Eggs 3 pcs.
Milk 150 mg
Semolina 3 tbsp. l.
without top
Hard cheese 100 g
Salt, black and allspice

Cooking method

  • Grind fillets and cheese in a food processor, add eggs. While the combine was working, I soaked semolina in milk to make it swell a little. I mixed everything together, added spices and beat for 5 minutes. If the mass is very thick (there should be something in between home and store sour cream), add more milk. I put it in silicone molds and cooked it for 40 minutes in a slow cooker. Maybe less, but I was afraid - the volume turned out to be large for multi.
  • Here's how much ended up

Note

It seems that I have not seen such a recipe on the forum.

Source - I read some recipes on the Internet and created something generalizing.

Beautiful muffins turned out, seemingly like jelly))
Thanks for the recipe

Did it all fit into the multi-cooker steamer tab at a time?

Did it all fit into the multi-cooker steamer tab at a time?
Yes. Just pay attention - I have a Dex and he has a double boiler with legs and is placed on the bottom. As an option for those with Panasonic cartoon available - put the mantle upside down on the bottom (with a separator bowl on the bottom). And I put the muffins themselves one on top of the other in layers, in a checkerboard pattern.

Yes, I have a Panasonic ... and there is no mantle ... And if I pour more water?
lesik_l
Water will not save the matter - you need a place to lay out muffins. I can suggest to the bottom (put empty molds on the first tier, fill with water, then some kind of flat lid, either metal from a saucepan, or plastic made of heat-resistant plastic. There should be a good gap for steam on the side. And put layers with muffins on the lid already. the idea should work out, only time, just in case, to take with a margin + monitor the presence of water at the bottom.

yeah, it's just the quantity! Come on! I'll do it in two runs, especially since I have two and 10 and 18 models! Thanks for the detailed answers!

If you cook in one layer, then you can take less time. I think 20-25 minutes will be enough

Thank you!

Today I cooked it, everyone really liked it! Thank you!

Glad you liked. The recipe is not at all confusing

lesik_l, and how much water should we pour for our internal steamer on legs? To avoid reaching a flat surface?
And I wonder, can you whip everything together with a blender leg?
lesik_l
I topped up to the level of the steamer itself, the minced meat is in silicone molds and splashes of boiling water will not get on it.
As for the blender - if there is enough power, then why not beat it with it. The main thing is to mix everything well, and with what tools is it your business
Keti
: bravo: Thank you for your answer!
And the last question - "For a couple", what is the best mode to choose (meat, vegetables)?
lesik_l
I didn't notice much difference. And, if you are going to cook in Dex, please note that it is better to turn on the boiling mode - there the countdown starts from the moment of boiling, and "for steam" - from the moment of turning on, it's hard to take into account the time precisely.
