Tell me, but only it seems to me that the fast car does something completely different with the products? Not like a stove. The potatoes in the soup are whole, but disintegrate at the slightest touch. The impression is that everything is boiled somehow more through and through? Surely, this has already been discussed on the forum. Maybe there is somewhere to read?

The pressure cooker was originally invented for retirement cows, that is, speaking seriously, for boiling meat of a non-premium category and preparing long-playing dishes, such as jellied meat, peas, beans. And can you just cook potatoes for a long time? It is cooked in pieces for 7 minutes, whole 10-12 (excluding set and descent)
IRR
Well, in general, some people have such an opinion that the food in the well is not that, not very good. There are exactly the same number who are crazy about her. something like this...
Robin bobin
No, I like the taste of food, although a little strangely. I also think that it does not fit in my head that so little time is needed for cooking)). I reduce the standard time by half - boil. But this is cool)). I basically cook light meals that generally take less than 10 minutes. Only now the time is less than 10 minutes in my cartoon is regulated only on 2 programs - rice and porridge. I'm afraid they will be mostly working for me.
I'm not complaining about the taste, I'm just curious to read about the principle of cooking in a pressure cooker))) Please advise where to find)))

I just put yours into the search engine the principle of cooking in a pressure cooker and there is something. Not too much, but there is and everything is clear.

but remember that there we can talk about on-site, and we have a next generation of electric

Hello. First, I read all night about multicooker, then got into the car and drove through the big shops. He wrote prices and models. But somehow nothing fell on the soul. In the end, I bought a REDMOND RMC-4503, probably not the most functional machine, however, where do you need to start, I thought about 4502, but there is practically no REDMOND in stores .. the choice of multicooker is, in principle, not very rich, although by March 8 all the same it appeared, on the other hand, I do not plan to cook complex dishes, but the set of automatic programs seems to me enough for everyday life.

Already stewed meat, cooked a couple of cereals. The result was quite satisfactory. First impressions - it works fine, the first launch immediately at cooking - there was no smell. I liked the recipe book)))). Beautiful and a lot.
Pieces of pumpkin were not boiled in porridge (milk porridge with pumpkin), buckwheat turned out to be thick, tender and juicy meat (meat with cheese from the recipe book).

Now the notes:
1. In the recipe book, portions are clearly not for 2 people, but 5-6))). I haven't figured out how to reduce portions yet.
2. Of course, I would like to know the temperature regime of cooking))), I'm not talking about its changes. But this is for more advanced machines.
3. It is still unclear what kind of coating the bowl has - in one place Teflon Dupont is written (it was wanted first of all), an expert from Utinet. ru wrote that ceramic (obviously not), but it seems to me the simplest Teflon.
4. The type of control is written on the site, and in the passport is electronic.
5. I have REDMOND RMC-4503, how does it differ from REDMOND RMC-4503 Silver?
6 The passport says that bread cannot be baked, but on the manufacturer's website it seems possible. So all the same "yes" or "no", and what is the problem with baking bread if the baking mode exists? in the reviews on this m / v they write that there is a problem with baking, and at all. Is this due to the design and settings, or just not everything was done correctly?
7. It's really not very convenient that the lid is not removable and opens to the right .. It would have been easier for a left-handed person)). and so you have to twist. At the same time, I am surprised that there are no rubber bands on the legs - the device glides on the table.
These are the first impressions, if I get ready to write more. ))))

So where can she grow, then ?! Porridge increases in volume in any saucepan) These are the laws of physics, you can't get away from them. Oatmeal triples, and at the time of boiling - even more. So that...
now I can see the edge without a prescription, as they say))))

Dear pressure cookers, help me figure it out. It seems to me that the Baking mode in my pressure cooker (Daewoo Dec 35-70) is buggy. Or am I doing something wrong.
The instructions say the time for Baking is 30 minutes, the display shows 20. In reality, it heats up for another 5 minutes, after which the time starts counting. Time is not regulated. I train on a regular Charlotte. The dough today turned out to be just excellent, the recipe from the forum. It is clear that in 20-25 minutes she will not bake charlotte, and she will not bake anything at all. I decided for myself that I would immediately start the mode in the second round, without even looking into it. But I still had to look, because by the end of these 20 minutes the smell of burnt dough began to smell. Looked in - the top is generally liquid. Okay, another 20 minutes. Only after that did she rise! The top is liquid again. And it smells already
Has anyone come across this? Is it a jamb construction, or something else? What to do? Maybe try using other modes, with pressure? What kind? I already tried the "porridge", I had to bake it anyway on baking, it was baked in 45 minutes, but it burned. Or already trying to find a better common language with the oven?

Like liquid, and not just light? The top will always be white, this does not mean that it is not baked.
Robin bobin
No, it was liquid on top. I already know that the baking will have a white top, I've seen the photos many times. The white top doesn't scare me.
Robin bobin
She took out the bottom - into the coals. Fortunately, it was on paper.
Lozja
So I already wrote this in different topics - the pressure cooker is not sharpened for baking, whatever one may say. You can bake, but not all and not all. All the same, a multicooker is the most suitable for baking.

Special thanks to Zoychik for the tip. I bought it there for 2890 rubles.

I was a brand new buying a multicooker just a week ago)))) I was very happy with the purchase for a long time choosing and bought a redmond rmc-m4500))) the smell was at first, but I boiled with lemon and everything is ok The first thing I cooked was pilaf with shrimps, then a roll, then rice with vegetables for a side dish and steamed fish with it, then oatmeal porridge)))) everything is very tasty and everything worked out the first time

Good day to all, I have not met such a warm and friendly site for a long time! I'm a newbie. Girls tell me pzhl asked her husband for a multicooker on March 8, but I myself don't understand if anyone cooked jelly there ??? I have read so many things on the forum, but I haven’t met about jellied meat, and the site is half Ukrainian. I cooked the last jellied meat almost all night on gas before NG, horror ..... And I chose the multicooker Brand 37501, how do you ???

Us, class!

We also have jellied meat. In short, I'll tell you how I do it. Preparatory operations as usual. Then I pour the meat and bones with cold water, bring to a boil in a regular saucepan. I drain the water with foam, rinse the meat and then put it in the multicooker pan.

I fill it with cold water! - definitely!

Extinguishing mode 4 hours (this is the maximum time for this mode), after the end, the Extinguishing mode is still 2-3 hours.

Regarding the choice of multi, she did not inspire me, but about the jellied meat - only cooked the day before yesterday. I put it right away in the cartoon and immediately added a little salt and put it on for 7 hours to stew overnight. In the morning I got up, took it apart and added some more water to taste. Aspic turned out better than in a pressure cooker.

First, turn on the gas on the gas, then after 4 hours turn on the mode to the multi. At night, you can't cook it like that - who will go to turn it on again.

Yes, in this multicooker the Stewing mode is maximum 4 hours, this is a small inconvenience.

It is not difficult for me to drain the first water, since a lot of foam leaves (I will not write what exactly comes with it.).
Lozja
And who wants for the night, pour boiling water and turn on the languor for at least 10 hours. No complications.

Hello. Tell me, did anyone understand the temperature regime in multicooker? What is the temperature for which program. Maybe on different programs during the cooking process, the temperature of course changes, but maybe someone knows at least something?
Magnuna
Good day!
Here I hasten to tell you about my experience of communicating with a multicooker. It all started almost like in a fairy tale: my grandfather gave my grandmother a REDMOND RMC-M20 multicooker on March 8, and the granddaughter decided to try it out (well, in our case, my daughter). I read the instructions, washed everything, plugged in, sniffed - it stinks horror, but oh well, read it, we know that this is not fatal and after the first or second cooking it will pass. I found the recipe for cabbage soup in the book that came with it, weighed everything (think, for the first time in my life I cooked cabbage soup by weights) - cut it, fell asleep, switched it on to the "soup" program - and left! Well, not guarding her, in fact, is not baking (I thought so).
After 15 minutes I hear a terrible sound of hiss, I run into the kitchen, and there is just a nightmare, everything is sprinkling over the edge and steam rushing from all the cracks. I turned everything off in a panic. (she's still mischievous, boiled for three minutes). I washed the kitchen for half an hour. I open the lid - I'll tell you right away - the cabbage soup is almost cooked (paradox)! I wash the MB for another half an hour. And I sit down on the Internet (well, suddenly I think I did something wrong) - I understand that this should not be so and I am very very upset, right up to tears!
Oh yes, the most important thing is that I only half filled the cup, and the instructions say (and my friend has the same, why actually bought it) you can fill up to 4 liters of risks! I imagine that then she took off at all !!!!
For the sake of experiment, of course, I tried it again (we are curious people) - I poured a liter of water, added art. a spoonful of vinegar and put on the "soup" mode for 15 minutes! Already watched all 15 minutes. At 10 minutes, the picture is the same - well, only there was almost no splashing. Steam into all slots in addition to the valve, condensate drips from the side past the collector, or rather from under it. And the worst thing is the stench of fused plastic! The whole display is fogging up!
This is how MV Redmond rmc-m20 lived with us, as much as 36 hours, well, plus or minus. We handed it back, we are waiting for the results of the examination and the return of money. (Here's a laugh it will be if they say that we broke it).

Now I will settle in the Internet choosing another MV - the best of the best for a modest 6 tons.

That's right, first you need to re-read many different topics, and then collect your brains and make your choice.

Although I understand you, usually "grandmothers" give "grandmothers" not at all what they need.

Good day!

Magnuna,

sometimes in a slow cooker half a pot of soup will make you run away, and when you pour a full one, it boils quietly. Here you need to track at first, then it will come

and also water with vinegar it will 100% trample from all holes - checked on a BOSCH stainless steel kettle when I wash off the scale.
Was the extinguishing in your MV? usually soups and many other things are cooked on stew (this mode is not so hot)
Magnuna
Well, now I'm even more upset. Maybe it really was necessary to "play" with other programs.
And about the water with vinegar, I read it on the Internet - a remedy for the smell!
steolin
odor remedy - water with lemon, lemonade among the people ...

The fact is that a friend has exactly the same - but she does not behave like that. That's why I got upset. In general, the reviews on it are not bad - it just seems that I was not lucky, or maybe my hands are not there. This is called you would not chase the pop for cheapness. we ordered it in in-those for 4500 - and in the city in stores it costs from 5400 to 6000. Marinca.t, do not worry!

Quite a decent choice! Good old Panasonic! The progenitor, so to speak, of all multicooker.

Although it does not have all the bells and whistles like Dough mode, Yogurt, Manual mode, etc., but it works stably and well. No problem.

I have my first such multicooker and I'm not going to part with it!
