Jasmine, if you have neither a multicooker nor an airfryer, buy a cartoon first. This tells you a person who was very critical against multi and fanatical FOR the airfryer!
Moreover, I'm happy with my grill absolutely, I still give priority to the multicooker as more versatile and necessary the household appliance. The grill is an excellent addition to the cartoon. But the basis is still cartoon

Why is it so? Why is cartoon more universal?

Everyone! The only thing she won't be able to do for you is to fry meat / fish like a grill. So lovers of fried meat also need AG on the farm. And not only meat: AG is a wonderful unit, and I in no way dissuade you from it. I myself love him with the most tender love!
In all other respects, the cartoon will not be your assistant, but a support. You can close the stove with a lid, you will never return to it. If you just say "Cartoon prepares everything" - a normal person will say in response: "So I can easily cook this EVERYTHING on the stove!" And he will be absolutely right. The only difference is as he will do it, how much effort he puts in, and what he gets at the end. I used to give all my best in the kitchen, literally go away. And I believed that I cook deliciously, but it is very difficult to cook. Now it turns out that I was pretty much wrong on both questions. And I didn't cook as tasty as I do now, and it turns out that you can playfully cook. There has never been such a varied menu as now on our table! And this variety is achieved with one left.
At first I didn't trust the cartoon: I cooked in it, like on the stove, that is, I always poked my nose there, fried everything, stirred, turned it over, etc. And still it was more convenient to cook than on the stove. Now I just throw frozen vegetables into the saucepan, press the button and leave. I have a delicious stew in an hour! And this is without the slightest effort on my part.
In general, you can write a lot, but all this will turn out unconvincing, because there is confidence in your subconscious: I did without multi before, which means that it is not so necessary. But if you just try it ... Words will already be redundant.
Beaten on this forum reception, but rather this comparison is impossible to pick up. What kind of washing machine do you have? Antediluvian, where everything needs to be done manually, or an automatic machine? I think it's a machine gun. And why? Can't you do without a machine gun? Well, think of it, pouring and draining the water by hand, putting the linen in, putting it out, wringing it out, then rinsing it in the bathtub. Fine. Better than on a washboard or in an ice hole. But no, for some reason people are obsessed with machines! To wash them, you see, too lazy! A multicooker is the same automatic washing machine, but instead of washing clothes, it prepares food. Well, you can choose for yourself: whether you wash it by hand, or on the machine. I have already made my choice.

The advantage is not the main one, but it is very significant It is easier and faster to wash. And in general, with a cartoon of dirty dishes, there is an order of magnitude less. The stove or oven does not get dirty, which again takes time and effort to keep clean. The pan is non-stick in the multi, it is not easy to clean - but very easy. No fried pans, no sticking in a pan (normal), no grease splashing on the walls. So the plus, although not the main one, is very significant.

and if it is serious, then we have an airfryer \ long-standing without bells and whistles \ and cartoon
so it didn't work out with the airfryer, love is idle for a long time without work
but with the cartoon, the romance somehow immediately started spinning now, the nurse from work is waiting for me

Why do you need a dishwasher? After all, the dishes can be washed with handles. Just like cooking on the stove, wash on an antediluvian machine. Why is your everyday "self-indulgence" so selective? Surrounding yourself with home helpers is so consistent in everything.
In general, no one will persuade you. We do not receive interest from multicooker manufacturers. If you want - buy, if you don't want - it's the master's business. We're just here to share our impressions.

Better yet, a pressure cooker
Well, it's better for those who often cook long meals. The pressure cooker doesn't inspire me yet. But I remember, and the cartoon did not seduce
Tashechka58
I also have an airfryer, and the relationship with it somehow did not work out. I use it very rarely. But I have multi, two Panas 18 and Kukushechka 1054, I love both. My husband says - maybe we'll give Panas to the children, - I don't agree. , two are just right. Yesterday I cooked borscht with meat in an hour and a half, stewed vegetables, cooked stewed fruit and baked cake.Try to do it on the stove for an hour and a half, and ironed it slowly
I forgot to write yet. I have an electric stove, this month I did not specifically turn it on, I wanted to check it economically or not with cartoons. So, I got 70 kW. less than with a stove, although it was cooked and baked in full ...

Yeah, grill, pressure cooker and three slow cookers
I agree with all the previous statements. Previously, the stove had me, but now I have a multicooker The Airfryer is irreplaceable if there is a man in the house who loves to eat meat, and more! I put 7 quarters of chicken on both grates, start a timer for 45 minutes - I go to read the forum. No splashing, rolling or burning. I would study in a frying pan, 5 pieces, and even fry each on both sides. I have not tried soups and porridge in pots - all hands will not reach.
Jasmine, the multicooker will prepare you both the first and the second, and a dessert - for that it eats less electricity (its power is 700-800W, versus 1300W of the airfryer), thanks to the "thermos with a heater" design, heat losses are minimal. In general, it is better to cook several times in a cartoon than to read about how great it is. Happy shopping!
Darin
Hello! We bought a multicooker a week ago. Very satisfied. Everything is very simple and tasty. That's just the pilaf I got a little bit to the bottom today (I made it according to a recipe from a book) and micro-scratches on the saucepan remain. Now I'm afraid to cook in it again, so as not to kill quickly.
Tashechka58
Darin , and you use silicone spatulas, etc. I immediately bought a silicone spoon and a holder for the spatulas

hostesses, hello! I already wrote that when I bought the Vikusya 600, I had a hysteria, because the first pancake turned out to be lumpy, but now I got used to it, and I was happy to the upper limits. Only I do not cook according to the recipes in the book, but since I cooked before, if it is pilaf, then the water is 2 fingers higher and first I fry the meat, onions, carrots in the "steaming" mode, and then the "pilaf" mode ... Cooked borschik, porridge, but I haven't tried the oven yet

Please tell me or poke me into the topic of how to prepare a multicooker before the first cooking. Maybe you need to steam a multicooker or something ..? Or just wash the bowl and wipe the rest?
NatalyMur
Rinse the bowl and wipe dry, wipe the plastic with a slightly damp cloth, do not climb inside
You do not need to steam ... The first is to cook a crumbly porridge.

if the smell of new technology (plastic, etc.) bothers you, it is better to boil a couple of lemon slices on the steam program for 10 minutes, and leave the saucepan with the lid open overnight

Dear forum users, I specially registered to say THANK YOU. I slowed down for two years with the purchase of a multicooker. Once I went into the store, asked what she was doing, the girl-consultant answered: "Well, right there everything is written - buckwheat, pilaf ...". And in our family, first courses are in great demand. Well, I think, since there is no first - why do I need it? Then a friend bought it, and also answered my question: "I don't know, I took it because of porridge." And only after reading this forum, I learned that the multicooker can do EVERYTHING that my family needs (my husband and I are gastritis, plus two preschoolers who are very picky about food). They snagged Panasonic 18, hastily printed out a couple of dozen recipes from this forum and left the whole family for the summer cottage. And a new life has come. Actually, I've been using it for almost a month. Dacha hateful cooking on gas cylinders gave way to a continuous holiday. The gas stove is used only for heating water - to bathe children. It turns out everything, pets eat and do not meow. So I have no words to express my deepest gratitude to the members of the forum, who with such generosity share delicious recipes and tips (up to immediately throwing out the standard plastic stirrer and buying a silicone one. I bought, of course :)). You made my summer

For the first time I boil all my new equipment without lemon, with water alone, because I want to know for sure if there are any problems or not. And for the second time I boil (if necessary) with lemon. Because because of the smell of lemon, you can not hear the "electric" smell, and the smell of plastic is removed very quickly.

Good health to all members of the forum!
I read a lot of interesting dishes prepared in multi-cookers and decided to buy. Today the multicooker SR-TMH 181 has settled in my kitchen next to HP.
Having looked through the Internet pages with your recipes for multicookers, I was just stunned by how great everything is! Simply. Affordable and most importantly delicious. And fried and steamed and boiled.
Brought home, climbed into the instructions and froze: a short list of recipes for such a toy. Of course, I expected more from the manufacturer. All hope is on you. You are welcome.Whoever will take over my patronage. To begin with, the first question is - if the volume of the pan is 4.5 liters, what is the minimum amount you can put. Well, for example, like frying a chicken thigh. In what mode. Girls, please, who uses this model, please help me take the first steps.
Luysia
There is no Frying mode in this multicooker. But you can fry in the Bake mode. After frying, you can close the lid and, in the Stew mode, bring to readiness.

Regarding the minimum quantity: it is desirable that the bottom of the saucepan is covered with the product, it is quite possible to fry two chicken legs with a thigh.

LuysiaAnother question is how much mass and what volume can be simultaneously loaded into the container. For example, to prepare some sauces (for example, ketchup for future use), you need to evaporate excess liquid. Which mode?
Oca
Reporting on "the first week with a pan for the 18th Panas from Brand". It was prepared: chicken soup with bones, wheat porridge, vegetable stew, chicken breast stewed with vegetables and potatoes, pasta, two muffins: sour cream and chocolate.
Result: the pan looks like new, no mechanical damage was found, nothing stuck or burnt to the bottom and sides, despite the complete absence of oil to lubricate the bottom. The cupcakes were shaken out without any problems, after which the pan was washed in warm water with two strokes of a dishcloth (no detergents). Conclusion: do not overpay for a "native" pan from Panasonic - Brand's bowl is stronger and better

Oops, I forgot to write that it is convenient to remove this pan from the multicooker. Previously, there was a whole problem to push the pot holder under the bent side to take out the freshly brewed soup (I do not cook according to the instructions, I pour it 2 cm below the side), but now I just pick it up on both sides and carry it to the table

I didn't cook the sauce in large quantities. Cut vegetables, for example, you can pour an almost full saucepan on caviar, fry, they shrink, and then also simmer until tender.

There is no violent boiling on Stew and the liquid does not evaporate especially. Boils heavily for steaming. Well, here you need to consider what can escape if it is, for example, jam. There were cases. And this can be fatal for a multicooker.

Read about the maximum amounts for cereals in the instructions. The first courses can be poured about 3/4.

Luysia

Thanks again for your attention. It is the preparation of caviar, in particular our beloved, eggplant and for the winter that excites me very much.
We do it every autumn and in large quantities. The process of evaporating excess liquid is laborious. MV intended to use it at the last stage. Therefore, I am interested in how much you can put in a saucepan. Can I mix
After all, the instructions indicate that the lid cannot be opened? The most important questions on this particular topic:
Weight, mode, time. If you had to use MV in this thread - please share. From SW. Clarens
Luysia
The lid must not be opened on automatic programs Buckwheat, Pilaf, Milk porridge, since the program may get lost. And on the rest you can and should. Open, stir ...

Here is the hit of the forum - squash caviar. By analogy, you can cook from eggplant.

https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=1425.0

In almost all recipes, the authors share this "mass, mode, time." Read, taste, cook, customize to your tastes. Nothing can replace your own experience. And don't be afraid to experiment, we all started the same way. Good luck!
Kamusik
And I will insert my 5 cents. Just today I was engaged in this process! And once again I admired this saucepan! I fried everything and put it in MV, stewing it 3 times. And that's it !!! Banks rolled up and voila !!!
