lyubasyk
Good day! I would like to share my impressions of the MCM 68885 harvester and ask a question. I bought it for my birthday. The first days I hunted to chop salads on it, but now I have it idle. I will tell you that such a combine is too big for a family of two, it is easier for me to manually cut salad and potatoes than to wash the combine later, nevertheless, the attachments take up a lot of space. But I still want to buy additional attachments for it, so to speak, "shob bulo". So far aimed at Universal Chopper (Small), Fries Disc and Medium Grater. Reflecting on the citrus press, in this regard, the question has arisen: Did someone use this press? Does it make sense to take it? What is the consumption of oranges per glass of juice? I'm really looking forward to your answers because the prices of the nozzles are very biting.
rudaya
lyubasyk, and I have such a press from the kit, but I don't use it. I would love to throw a medium grater, for example.

Girls😊 we bought it!
I haven't had time to apply yet, but I really liked the look

And I. And me too,Lilechka, Congratulations. Let Boshik serve for a long time and do not know wear and tear!
Immediately I get into the topic and understand that this little thing is also very, very nasty to me.
Congratulations!!!

Lily, Kokoschka, congratulations Excellent choice
Kokoschka
Girls thank you very much for the congratulations !!!
Now I want to buy an additional attachment, how can something else be financed!
Once we had a very good Ukrainian Mriya combine, so Boshik reminded him of something.
Ludmila 2014
Girls who have a similar harvester, please tell me which grater-shredder can be used to cut bell peppers for freezing, but not in strips, as in lecho, but as if into cubes, only flatter, or something. As usual, put on the borscht. And then my Boshik is just on the way, and I'm already thinking about what I will do with it))

Thank you! Will it not be large cubes? Does it crush it from the cube nozzle? I haven’t seen it yet, so I’ll get it, I’ll conduct experiments!
Venera007
Ludmila 2014, the cubes will not be large. But whether it crushes, I don't know. Didn't try to cut pepper
dandelion
Ludmila 2014, I chopped the pepper into strips for freezing. I like.
Miranda
I freeze it with a disc-free, well cut.

I tried the wipe. It's super super fast. I did tkemali. I haven't done it for 10 years, I remember rubbing it through a sieve ... brrrr
Venera007
I also tried the wipe. This is a thing !!!

Chopped bell peppers for vegetable stew. I took a large cube (I have two lattices, 9 * 9 and 13 * 13). It worked fine. Nothing gagged. I have a cube cutter for another Bosch, but I think that there will be no fundamental difference.

Oh, tell us more about the different cubes. Which model is it in? I saw this, I think, in Phillips. Do you have Bosch?
Anchic
I have a MumXL planetary mixer. I took a cube cutter to him. It has two inserts for two sizes of cubes. It seems like you can bribe such an insert separately. We must look at the office. website

I looked at the forum, where questions and answers, and they write there that these inserts allegedly do not fall into the groove of MCM combines. But this still needs to be checked, they have different types of nozzles, but in fact they are the same. I would like to ask exactly who. And if they do, then I think they are unlikely to sell them separately, and not assembled with everything else. It's a pity, I'd probably bought it. But first you need to see it live, maybe the size is close to universal there, and it will be enough.
Anchic
Ludmila 2014, measure your dice insert. Dimensions. And I'll measure mine. And let's compare the sizes.

Yes, I would still measure it, but I will receive it only in a week. And I will measure, and we will definitely compare.
Miranda
Ludmila 2014, if no one measures it before, I'll open the box.
I have it folded. And also I wonder what is there with the dimensions
Ludmila 2014
Oh great. Now it remains to wait.
Anchic
Ludmila 2014, measured the insert. 90x63mm - dimensions. 65mm between beveled corners. From edge to ledge, which is for correct insertion, 20mm.

Here I look at the office. website: an insert for a cube 8x8x8mm is suitable for combines mum5, mcm6, etc. And an insert for a cube 13x13x8mm is also suitable for mum5. MCM6 not specified. But I think that I should approach him too, since a smaller cube can be placed in both series.

Here is an 8x8x8 insert: 🔗
Here is 13x13x8: 🔗
Ludmila 2014
Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you for such valuable information !!! I will receive the combine tomorrow and compare it from the photo. It will be interesting to see what size my cell is. Someone wrote that it seems like 8 by 8. Here in your 9 by 9, and 13 by 13. I think that the 9mm and 8mm nozzles are not very different in size, but at 13mm it would be cool if it fit. What are you doing on it? Can I use it to cut potatoes into soup, for example?
Anchic
Ludmila 2014, I cut vegetables with a larger attachment once on a vinaigrette. For me - a bit big. And once on a vegetable stew - the size is the same. You can definitely use potatoes for soup. It will be lazy for me to wash my nozzle if I cut potatoes for soup - there are not so many potatoes, it's easier with a knife on a board. It's just that I have a slightly different machine and there is only one cutting attachment for it - a cube cutter. Others I don't buy, somehow there is no special need. And there is no storage space yet.
Ludmila 2014
Could you tell me more how many cells you have in the small cube attachment? Judging by the information on the site, mine should have 6 by 9. That is, 54 cells. And with large holes on the site 6 by 4, that is, 24 cells. I wonder if yours and mine have the same small tips, then there is a chance that the large ones will also coincide.

Upd: I looked at your model on the Internet - well, the coolest combine. It is not even clear at once whether it is a planetary mixer with a combine function or vice versa. Do you use it more as a mixer or as a combine? Does it take up a lot of space? I just barely carved out a place for my 68885. And then only today I'll probably see how it fits there. I'm worried about the distance between the cabinets and the countertop - suddenly it won't work. I'm going to boil vegetables on Olivier right now, I can't wait. And you seem to have the same nozzle smaller cells - and tried to cut the vinaigrette on it? Is your difficult to assemble-disassemble-wash? I'm also thinking about a pancake, won't it be dreary to collect and wash it, or cut it by hand? The girls over there write that they are chopping one onion. I'm not such a heroine, for the sake of one onion I will not start a barrel organ. But they seem to say that if you get used to it, then everything turns out quickly. Before that I used a blender with a Brown combine function. And I bothered to get it out of the closet every time, collect it and so on. Worth it. But how to adapt to this, make friends ...., in general, I did not go to the kitchen.
Venera007
Ludmila 2014, if the harvester is put into the closet every time, it will more often get dusty. I originally put mine on the table and don't clean it, although I don't always use it every day. It's easy to assemble, and when you get used to it, it's super easy. Have time to get the current and change the attachments. True, I don't use a cube cutter. It's easier for me to cut it into soup with my hands than to wash it all later. But if it is necessary to cut large volumes, then only with a combine. My favorite most often used: This is a medium or large grater and a universal knife for minced meat for cutlets or vegetables which to grind for preparations (mother-in-law chops tomatoes for lecho there)

Do you have 68885? Why not use a cube cutter? Praise her everywhere, they say super demanded. I just couldn't find a video on the Internet on how to properly assemble the harvester and attachments. Where did you learn this? I hate instructions, it's easier for me to watch a video once than to understand the diagrams.
Miranda
I completely switched to Kenwood, and Bosch was folded in a box. But I remember him with gratitude.

I did not start on one onion carrot, but always on large volumes. And diced salads ten times faster than hands.

That's what I just used once, like to protest, and then never - with a whisk. Not because it whips poorly, whips well. A complex composition, well, there are proteins separately, yolks separately, it is inconvenient to shift, wash later. And not complicated - I have a cool whisk on a hand blender, it was more convenient for them. But if it were not, I would have used it.

Just look at the result once - too small and too coarse grater / shredder. Because it is too small and too coarse But the medium grater / shredder was a running one.

Knives for dough and iron - running. Disc fries and cubes.

Ludmila, I counted - the same thing happens. Small cube - 6 by 9, large cube 4 by 6.

I bought my car as a dough mixer. I bake a lot of bread (it happens every day, rarely after 2 days). Previously, she only kneaded in a bread machine. But with a wetter dough (like a ciabatta), it is hard to cope. Poorly develops gluten. Well, on Easter cakes, too, I did not want to knead with handles, and at one time. And HP cannot do that much at a time. The harvester takes up decent places. But he has a large bowl, and the main thing is that it takes up. If we take nozzles, then they are quite voluminous, so I do not plan to buy other nozzles yet. For olivier and okroshka, I used a lattice with a smaller cube size. For me - just right. The salad is ready in a couple of minutes (such a bowl for 4 liters). I don't consider cleaning vegetables, because they need to be cleaned for any method of cutting. I don’t remember the vinaigrette - whether I did it on a fine wire rack. But next. just going to do it on it. I didn't like the big one. The shallow grate gives a cube comparable to peas. That is, all products are approximately the same size. It is not difficult to assemble and disassemble, washing in general is not difficult even with your hands (I do not have a dishwasher). It bothers me more when all this disassembled lies and dries Therefore, for the sake of 4 potatoes for soup, I do not use a cube.

Boiled vegetables before cutting would be good to cool in the refrigerator. And they say potatoes are not cut very well, if not from the refrigerator. Once I accidentally cut it out of the refrigerator for the first time (I boiled it in the evening, and cleaned it the next day). And then I read about it.
Venera007
Ludmila 2014, yeah.Exactly 68885, I don’t use a cube cutter because I don’t make salads, neither olivier, nor vinaigrette, and I don’t need to cut a lot into soup, and I quickly wield a knife. And if I only make vegetable salads, cabbage, carrots, apples, etc., then I rub it with my favorite Boshik, I hate a grater in the classical sense.
Ludmila 2014
Girls, I received this animal yesterday !!! And yesterday I prepared Olivier and vinaigrette, well, and so that my husband understood to the heap that these budget bloodletting were not in vain, I cut the cucumbers into cubes for freezing on okroshka in winter. Well this is in the blink of an eye, no one had time to understand anything !!! But I did not take the fries attachment, I bought only a medium grater, and ordered a attachment for large cubes - for vegetable and fruit salads, stews, etc. And I measured my nozzle-cubes, so what? Same as with discs - same size and shape! So I immediately ordered the same one with bigger cubes on the Bosch website. There will definitely be more benefits than curved fries. It is 200 rubles more expensive plus shipping, but I think it's worth it. I assembled the harvester myself straight out of the box - there is really nothing complicated, I will immediately shove the blender bowl further away - I don't need it, there is a powerful stationary blender with a glass jug. So he did not take up much space - I removed all unnecessary (blender, whisk attachments) and I sit happy. Ask if you need to measure something, although here it seems like a girl has already done such a job, and there is nothing to add. Do I need to unsubscribe about the nozzle in large cubes, will it fit ???
Venera007
Ludmila 2014, Yes. For the big cubes, please, unsubscribe.
Anchic
Ludmila 2014, congratulations on your purchase! Let it serve long and well!
Ludmila 2014
Thank you girls !! And I will definitely unsubscribe about the cubes, because this is such an experiment, at a cost of 1.5 thousand, which is better to go through once. Here either pan or disappear. But it seems like there you can check the product when buying, which I hope for - compare mine and their nozzle. If only it would fit! The range of possibilities would expand immediately - I would cut peaches and apples for jam with it, and cucumbers for Greek salad, and cheese there (small cubes for me, so too small for this purpose) ... a lot of thoughts, in general! And his knives are sharp, infections, I almost cut myself today.
Anchic
Be careful with knives. I cut three fingers for the first time

Be careful with knives. I cut three fingers for the first time
So I slightly cut my skin with a knife, not critical, but the science is still. Knives are often written about in the topic about Berner - they are often cut.
I have an unused corner on the countertop that just came in handy for a Boshik, as if it were waiting for it. And the stainless steel fit well, next to the blender is also stainless steel.
And, here's another thing I wanted to ask - can this combine be left plugged in, or must it be pulled out of the socket every time?
Anchic
Ludmila 2014, according to the instructions, my combine must be pulled out of the socket. I keep it in an outlet. But I have a position in which it does not turn on. And it is in this position that it stands when not in use.
Ludmila 2014
Is this the Off button position? If yes, then I also have such a button - so reluctance to climb somewhere in the corner to stick this socket every time.
Anchic
No, it turns on very easily for me. There the wheel turns. But if you lift the "nose" up, then when you turn the wheel, the combine does not turn on.
Ludmila 2014
Girls, as promised, I unsubscribe. I apologize for the delay. The large dice attachment fits perfectly. I use it to cut vegetables into stews and fruit salads, where I need larger ones. For blanks, I drove it to the tail and mane. In general, I am very satisfied. You can safely order this attachment, whoever has a need - it looks great. So I think what other adaptations would be useful to me.
lira3003
Ludmila 2014, it's good that you reported! Thank you! I’ll think, maybe I’m nada too
Ludmila 2014
As I did not have this attachment (large cubes), I did not seem to need it. And right now, try to take it away .... you need it! Such a cow, as they say ... Just now, for a gathering, she cut a whole pot of fruit on it. Small cubes would not fit - the juice would immediately drain. And so it is perfect.Shaw is it for me then, without a treat, eh? No, I do not agree.
PS. In fact, this nozzle is one of the most popular for me, along with an average grater-shredder, and small cubes. I use a wavy knife less often than her. Buy boldly, you will not regret it. It will definitely not lie around.
solmazalla
I will duplicate here a question from another topic:
Help me out, I broke my whole head. I collect an order from Bosch, buy a rub, here they wrote that it just stands on a stick from the cubes (I have 64085).
But I really want a nozzle with dough hooks art. 00641665 from 5 series models. Visually, it looks exactly like a thick stick-attachment on which we put knives, but with built-in hooks. Can anyone try it, is it suitable? I don't want to spend an extra thousand just like that. (And without it, my order for free shipping does not pull, damn it.)
There were doubts about large cubes, but here they told everything in such detail, now I will definitely buy it.
Ludmila 2014
Yes, this attachment fits your model. I figured out the principle of interchangeability of nozzles at Bosch. You need to look at the capacity of the bowl, if it matches yours, then the attachments for this bowl will coincide in different models. Moreover, this is a very recent series, the fifth. Imagine if they need to launch a whole special line for the sake of one model? So no production will pay for itself. And your model is 3.9 liters, and the model from dough hooks is the same volume. Plus, I looked at YouTube for the analysis of this combine - 100% coincidence. So do not worry - it will do, there are gears, and the mechanism for opening the lid is identical. And why is this attachment better than those dough hooks that come with the kit? I'm just now thinking, can I need it too? ... I would like to buy some more rubbing for myself, yes ... but hardly in the near future. By the way, according to the principle that I described, I already bought 2 nozzles for myself, and I guessed it, but the description does not even say that they will fit my model. And now I'm 100% sure. They make more money on these accessories than on combines. After all, not a single model is fully equipped. That's why. And if anyone is interested, there are graters that are the same in appearance, but different in price - they are also suitable for our (and your) model, and those, and those, the difference in the thickness of the steel on graters, those that are more expensive, thicker. And that's all. Ask if anything.
solmazalla
Ludmila 2014, oh, how great, thanks for the detailed answer! I wanted the hooks because they are not in mine, there is a plastic knife for kneading and many write that the dough does not work. And I also want to make rye, but it is so viscous and sticky and very badly kneaded. So the thought crept in that hooks would be better.
And there is also a promotion in Boch: when buying for 2990, a discount of 350 rubles until January 15, and in each order they put a gift voucher for the next purchase for 1000 rubles. So I just ordered a rub for myself and my friend and finished it off to the amount with a disk for potato pancakes. And if they send a coupon, then I'll spend it on these hooks, and even grab a large grate
