Miranda, I rubbed the cranberries, it was great.
Miranda
NataliaVoronezh, Thank you

Interested in raspberries, currants, cranberries ..
Still interested in rubbing cottage cheese and spinach.
And the process itself is also interesting, in the sense, is there a lot of waste left, is it easy to wash, are the holes clogged?

I am now thinking of buying a hand sieve-wiper or a Bosch attachment.

Cranberry - it is perfectly rubbed, the bones will pass from the raspberry. I have not tried currants and spinach - not available. Even dryish rustic cottage cheese rubbed well, I did not even expect such a result.

The process itself: waste from berries - only skins, little at all; from cottage cheese - a little more, depending on how much to wipe 150 - 200 grams, I don't see any sense, but when cottage cheese is 400 - 600 grams - then the waste looks adequate), and I brush them off into the bowl (they remain a little under the blades, and then what's left in the holes). It is washed off quite easily under running water with an ordinary Ikeev brush, you just need to carefully look at the holes and do it right away - so that it does not dry out.
Miranda
Natalika_1, Thank you.
I will reflect.

The direction of thought is this - with a mechanical one you immediately wipe it in the right dish, wash less, and a mechanical one has removable discs (large holes, small ones). But they are twice as expensive as the Bosch attachment.

Dear girls! Yesterday I became the happy owner of a BOSCH MCM68885 food processor. I studied all the correspondence in this thread and I had questions:
1) I do not understand how to load carrots into the harvester along? Cut it into pieces that fit into the hole and put it on the edge, so to speak?
2) Did you talk about cleaning knives with a brush? Are you talking about a special brush? Doesn't she cut with knives?
Thank you in advance

Dear forum users and members of the forum decided to buy a Bosch 68885 combine
And glancing at the topic (I didn't read it completely), I got the impression that you can buy more attachments for him.
A terrible konyuktevit from the eyes of tears in a stream, .... I realized that the topic will not settle.
I would be grateful for the answer, since we are planning to buy one of these days ...
Miranda
Kokoschka, 68885 has a rich bundle.

From the additional one they usually buy two discs - for french fries (but not only potatoes, of course), and a disc with a medium grater / shredder, since the set is very large and very small.

You can also buy a chopper (a small glass with a knife) and a citrus juicer. And also, on a stick from a cube cutter, a wiping nozzle is well installed, consisting of two parts - a blade and such a container with holes.

But the original equipment is very good. Is that the average grater, which Bosch does not put in any models (mcm or mum), is sold separately. But the rest is at will and money.
Kokoschka
Miranda, thank you very much for your reply!!!
I slowly began to read here, I found your wonderful detailed post about the attachments, although I think it's a little expensive I need to buy it while the currency sank ...

Kokoschka,
I forgot what else you can buy for potato pancakes.

Quote: Miranda
Here are all the codes for our combines

for pancakes - MUZ45RS1
disc-free - MUZ45PS1
disc julienne - MUZ45AG1
medium grater / shredder disc - MUZ45KP1

That is, for our disks you need to look for when it starts on MUZ45 ...
But other editions are also suitable, you need to look at the connection design (center of the disc)

A shredder is also suitable for us (such in MCM64060 and MCM68861) - 750858

And a rub for mashed potatoes or berries, like MCM 5529, it is put on a stick for cubes and consists of two parts: a) a press blade for making puree - 00641688 c) a filter sieve for rubbing berries, tomatoes, boiled vegetables - 00642151

More details: https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...589.0

On the Bosch website there is, on foreign trade.
There are discs in Citylink, see those that start with MUZ45 ... or copy from the quote and search.

Under the spoiler there are several links from bookmarks, or google where it is cheaper.

By the way, I just remembered, if we consider the immersion blender ... I took it with a whisk, so that I could beat 1-2 eggs, so you can choose with a puree nozzle

Good luck with your choice!
Kokoschka
lira3003, Rita, something I looked for this is not already on sale ...
lira3003
Lily,! Fixed, model 87180. There is 87165 with a puree attachment.
I first bought a food processor, then instead of attachments, this hand blender. Sister, too, first a harvester, then a submersible. She took a redmond, with a nozzle, a cube, so that it would be more convenient to carry it to the dacha for blanks. Our other sister is a pastry chef by education, so she only uses a mixer, which is already 10 years old! She doesn't cook a lot now, her husband and children help. Therefore, it is necessary to see who needs what.
Lily, I don’t know, maybe you take orders for cakes? Then it is better not to mcm, but to consider mum, probably I only have guests like cakes, a biscuit for 6 eggs in a food processor is perfectly beaten. And vegetables for salads and preparations too! Yes, in a blender from a food processor I grind soybeans, often make tofu

I immediately bought a medium grater with a Bosch, and thought to buy the rest, but did not buy it. Because it's not so necessary + there is a hand blender. Techniques above the roof.

But I did not regret about the average grater.
Too gigantic pieces for large, and too small, some in mashed potatoes, on small ones.

Julien can relatively replace the middle one.
But I have 64085, the configuration differs from the 68885 with one disc - instead of Julienne disc-free, the rest of the configuration is the same (they still differ in capacity - 1250 and 1200, and in color). Therefore, I immediately bought a medium grater.

Here somewhere in the topics were comparisons.

I totally agree!
That's what I do. And the view is beautiful! And I rarely cook fries, for 5 years 1 time and then in the oven!

Tried the fries grater in a redmond combine. Lots of non-cut,. I prefer potatoes into large wedges, like cut in a rustic way for baking

Kokoschka
I take girls for myself, I don't do anything to order, but I make myself a lot of blanks.
I think I'll buy the middle one for sure.
And the chopper is a separate one about the submersible thanks for the detailed story Rita!
I bought a combine harvester many years ago (moreover, the gray equipment, bought by the devils where) refused ....... ..... faithfully plowed for 10 years.
And the other day, I began to junk specifically, and the question arose about replacement, while the currency fell in price!
For me the harvester is a very necessary thing in the household!

And I got a free disk in the package. At first I lay like that, because we rarely eat potatoes in any form, and then I give them a lot.

He cut the peppers perfectly for freezing in the fall.
Such beautiful stripes of excellent size. At least lecho, at least something else. Whole bags of beautifully cut in minutes.

He famously cut me zucchini and eggplants, onions, even tomatoes are not too soft. Excellent stews and various roasts did.

I cut apples for them in a pie. He rounds off a little, and in an open pie it was in place.

But I was idle in winter, yes. But soon it will be back to work.

However, I would never have guessed to buy it separately, having decided that for a rare potato in our family I would cut it with handles. But it turned out that they have a lot of things and I fell in love with him

I have no julienne for the complete set and for potato pancakes. No add. chopper and wiper, and citrus juicers. At first I wanted to buy everything, but then I cooled down and I’ll hardly buy it already.
Kokoschka
Miranda, I'm also thinking to buy for fries, since there is an air fryer.
And also the right thing for me for citrus fruits.
I have it in Brown, but I don't use it all the time.
lira3003
I have a separate juicer, I don’t like to wash it ... I rarely get it, and finally I need to return it to the mistress. But she also does not love her, so for the second year she does not want to take her. I'll take you by force. She also needs vitamins

I love potato pancakes, but I rub them on a coarse grater immediately at speed and without pressing a glass. Everything is fried! No, I know for sure, I won't buy anything. Grandchildren will appear, we can then take the nozzle for mashed potatoes. Although in a chopper from a submersible, everything can be punched. It was inconvenient for me to chop meat with knives, all the same, the meat grinder gave out the more familiar product. I bought Axion and I'm glad ... I've already broken two platmassovy bushings, I'm waiting with Ali. And it's not a pity, a good budget grinder. But I didn’t overload the Boshik, I take a lot of meat at once, and almost all at once into the minced meat. And the Boshik sausage cutlets are kneaded with a dough attachment.

The first time I don't remember how I broke it. And the second time she grinded lard, cut from the skin. Here is probably a place where there is a lot of films. She did not consider it, she just pulled it out of the meat grinder and threw it into the trash.

About ham / sausage and Bosik.

I do it differently. But always with a knife!
Not for the test, although I tried it for them.

I can put pieces of meat in there, I can mince after a meat grinder.
With ham and sausages, the main thing is not to heat the meat. Some even keep the auger / knife / grinder grate in the freezer to keep it warm. And if in a food processor you immediately use knives past a meat grinder, then it is better with small ice cubes of water or milk. Therefore, a multifunctional knife is better than a dough knife. The dough knife may break on ice.

From experience I can say that Boshik likes to pull under the stick that dough, that emulsion. In order not to get lost, you need to work quickly. If the recipe contains water / milk, then it is better to pour it gradually, in parts, or even better, semi-frozen.

But if it does, you don't need to worry. There the motor is completely covered. The part on which to put sticks is sealed and all that. It will just be dirty, but it won't get into the motor. With a whisk, it never pulls, there is a single stick, and when a large one on a small one - it can.

I twist the twisted meat in Boshik to the threads, adding ice in parts, or until the emulsion is completely. For ham, when or not boiled sausage, I cut it with handles separately with a regular knife into pieces and mix.

I make dough for dumplings and bread according to a popular recipe here in 21 seconds - https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=283291.0 Only not with an iron knife, but with a knife for dough, then it turns not in crumbs, but in such a solid piece. I also make yeast dough. The main principle is to pour the wet part to the dry part at speed. No pulling or anything else.

Girls so it is not on sale ...

Uh-huh, something is missing, maybe it was removed from sales.

Bosch's management is always responsive to the market. There was a short experiment last year when they decided that because of the crisis they were not buying anything.

Model - Bosch kubixx MCM64080.
Was on sale for a short time and in few places, was presented at the office. Bosch website (only Russian version), then disappeared.

The body, the motor and so on were from 64085. But the set did not include a blender, a dough knife, a whisk, a third disc. There were only two discs (coarse / fine grater, coarse / fine shredder), an iron knife, a citrus press and cubes. It cost 2 times cheaper than 64085 and almost 2.5 times cheaper than 68885 - about 5 thousand.

I was just then thinking about Boshik, and looked where that is, so I remembered this model. But having figured out that to buy a separate knife for the dough, a whisk, a blender (although I didn't really need it personally) and a couple of disks, then 64085 or 68885 are cheaper right away. But someone may not need a blender, or a knife for dough, or it's just a pity to give 10-12-15 thousand at once, but here it is only 5 thousand. I then called Bosch to inquire about the model, they said - an anti-crisis proposal.

And so officially there are now only two models with cubes - 64085 and 68885.
There are not so many differences, but they were positioned in different ways, 68885 as the oldest model. The price difference has always been 5 thousand + -. But by the winter, the difference spread to a maximum of 1,000, and 64085 began to gradually disappear from sale, although you can find it. Apparently due to the fact that the difference was smeared, and Bosch did not like it. They love many models with different trim levels for every wallet. And when different models have a similar price, they hold back.

A friend in front of NG wanted to buy like mine, but ended up buying 68885, because there was no difference in price, and somewhere 64085 is even more expensive. And when my family at the end of last summer gave me 64085, tired of my every night googling Boshikov, the price difference was 5 thousand or more, for example, in Mvideo they went completely crazy and sold 68885 for 22 thousand (now 15), and 64085 for 12 thousand, but in other stores there was still about 5 thousand the difference was spinning.

There are only four differences between 68885 and 64085:
- disc julienne against fries disc (any discs can be purchased)
- power 1250 against 1200 (noticeable only at the maximum)
- a beautiful gray color versus a no less beautiful white one for the attachments - all knives, sticks, etc. all the plastic for the attachments, except for the blender, is the same and gray there and there.
- exterior design of the motor square in gray metal against glossy shiny white plastic

Miranda, I also really loved this recipe! I did it with a knife screw, but for the test I did not try it with a screw, I will have to test it!
But now I really like the dough with vinegar.
Miranda, you are a treasure trove of information !!!! Thank you very much!
lira3003
I also kneaded this dough before, now everything is without a roller. And eggs-water-salt, depending on the desired dough. For noodles only on eggs, without water and salt.
And I knead the minced sausage with a plastic knife, because I use the meat in an almost defrosted state and water-milk as well. Well-mixed minced meat with white strings is about 7 ° -10 °. So it cannot overheat. Then, while I'm making the ham from minced meat (large + small) and hand-cut pieces. Although I add them at the end, I don't want them to be ground there. The knife is sharp
When I was choosing a harvester, I somehow liked 68885 more and because of

Following the principle of a dumplings dough recipe in 21 seconds, yeast dough for bread with a dough knife. But don't swear too much, this is my very first bread in general

For 500g. white flour Limak (I take in a bag 10 kg.), yeast, salt, sugar, whey 300 ml. Stir the yeast in the whey, and pour it into the rolling flour + salt + sugar. Also 30 + - seconds, then I washed it with my hands for a couple of minutes, and put it in a slow cooker on the rise (2 or 3 times, every 40-50 min. Crumpled), proofing in a mold for about an hour and in the oven.

Do you think a whisk with a gray gear will fit from 68885 to 68080? Or should you take it with a white gear? Or do I understand correctly that there is no difference?
I want to buy a medium grater, a chopper for a small volume of products and a whisk, otherwise it is not in this configuration. I bought a harvester in a fit, for the sake of cubes, but for the sake of one function, it seems awkward to hold such a bandura. Meanwhile, there is also a submersible blender with a huge number of attachments, and a mixer when the blender whisk fails. You have to store all this somewhere, combine it, but I would move all the graters and beaters to the share of the combine and leave only one bare submersible blender.
And I also didn't understand about the dough. What kind of knife kneads the dough in this model? Can I attach it to 68080? Or can it be done with an ordinary wavy knife? In principle, there is HP Kenwood, so a separate kneader is not so necessary. But I don’t bake in it, only I mix the dough for pies in it. And if it would be possible to use the combine as a kneader, it would be great.
