Food processor Bosch MUM XL ... (MaxxiMUM)

As I understand it, the unit is new, in 2014, I found a discussion of it in you about the MUM 8400. I ordered myself a MUM XL10 and immediately a shredder to it. Good evening, I want to write about my purchase of BOSCH MUMXL40G. Beautiful and powerful, and even a large bowl and blender. I just needed an assistant for kneading the dough and so that cocktails could be made quickly and immediately for the whole family. The blender does a great job, I don't know under what circumstances I will use speeds higher than 3, because it whips everything up in a minute, although I tried only cocktails with berries and ice cream. Today I tried to make dough for dumplings, a worm of doubt gnawed at me, but I was just indescribable delight, in 4 minutes (well, maybe 5) I kneaded an excellent, smooth, homogeneous, elastic dough, much better than I did it. He did not move on the table, in general he stood still, no tension was felt in him. Although certainly not silent, it makes noise normally. I am so glad, I hope this machine will help me for a long time. Lera-7, thanks for the advice about the store, they did not let us down, they brought it on time, I hope further cooperation with them will be favorable. Also included is a vegetable cutter with 4 discs, I have not tried it yet. More details: https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...ion=com_smf&topic=35840.0

Good to everyone. Can you buy a cubic attachment for it?
zombokatya
Yes, you can. This is an accessory MUZ8CC2, suitable for MUMXL / XX and MUM8 series combines. Cubes 0.9 x 0.9 and 1.3 x 1.3.

Girls-owners of MUMXL, please, please, how do you like the machine in action, how well it whips whites and kneads a tight dough, disappointment or pleasure after the purchase? My new Wishlist :)

I will leave a small review.

From the very beginning, they feared that the bowl would be too large - in vain. It turned out just right. Now we are glad we didn’t take less. Dough - light to hard, no problem. Proteins - no complaints. Considering that they constantly bake at home - now the best assistant.
Due to the fact that the legs "stick" to the tabletop, it is problematic to move it (this is definitely not an option to store it in a closet and take it out as needed) - we spent about 2 days looking for a convenient place. Different attachments are "connected" both in the front and in the back + blender on top + the gearshift knob should still be visible.

About accessories that we have tried:
We also bought a meat grinder (there are no complaints about it - it grinds quickly and well). The only thing I had to suffer with was to put it on and fix it correctly - there are small subtleties, the office explained them to us.
The whole Italian set: rolling sheets for lasagna (or for dumplings), cutting homemade noodles and spaghetti - no complaints. The only thing you can't wash is to wipe them with a damp cloth.
The blender is ordinary, nothing supernatural.
Standard knives and additional universal cutting knives - cut

But there is no nozzle-cube, the toad is very choking for him to give 6 thousand.

If you have specific questions, ask - I'll try to answer.

Girls, my question is primitive. To the car, among other things, there are two whisks and a hook. Describe or give a link for mixing what exactly are they suitable for?
A hook for kneading minced meat and probably tough dough. And the rest is how to use it correctly. I tried to find in the Kenwood theme (the attachments are identical, probably they are used in the same way), but I got lost in the topic there. Help, eh!
zombokatya
This bosh has everything, in principle, in the instructions it is indicated: what is which nozzle and at what speed it can be used. I'm following it for now
🔗
zombokatya
From the instructions:
Stirring whisk “Absolut” (with rubber pad) - for mixing dough, eg butter dough or mousse, and for mixing whipped egg whites or cream.
All-metal whisk for whipping for whipping egg whites, cream and for whipping light doughs, eg biscuits.
Kneading nozzle "High performance" (hook) for kneading heavy dough and for mixing ingredients that should not be chopped
(e.g .: raisins, chocolate bars).

The car is amazing! Beats whites perfectly, even in small quantities. Prepare the dough for the biscuit for two. But it can also be less powerful predecessors, so there is nothing surprising. The most amazing thing is kneading a tight dough for noodles (I'm not talking about dumplings dough). The harvester does it easily and quickly, it saves my strength. There is also a pasta attachment for it, which rolls out and cuts, but it is very expensive. I can get by with an inexpensive manual pasta machine. In general, we often cook homemade noodles now.
No disappointments, perfect buzz!
Now on sale there are nozzles for cutting into cubes, a nozzle for citrus fruits. I'm ordering today.
By the way, shredder MUZ XL VL 1 VeggieLove
Food processor Bosch MUM XL ... (MaxxiMUM)
just an irreplaceable thing! How shreds cabbage !!! Any major food preparation is quick and effortless.
The power is great!

Girls, thank you very much for your comprehensive answers, I will definitely take one, and then you can buy the necessary sets, if that :)

I also have a Boshik in Wishlist. Enlighten, the juice press attachment MUZ8FV1 is not suitable for tomatoes and raspberries, but that's what I need for them. Maybe there are still some suitable ones?

There is no other for this combine yet. I saw in more "junior" models a nozzle for rubbing berries, as it seemed to me, convenient. But I do not know how it is for tomatoes.
It is probably better to look for another unit for this.

In general, in this video, tomatoes are processed on such a nozzle for juice:

But the MUM4.
In Ukrainian online stores about MUZ8FV1 it is written that it is discontinued

MUZ8FV1 juice press not suitable for tomatoes and raspberries
Why - just he goes: "MUZ8FW1. Features of the model: For obtaining mousse from berries, tomatoes and rose hips. A casing for protection from splashes. Attaches to the meat grinder."
Only a meat grinder with an adapter is needed for it.

I have a question for the owners of combines - where do you store additional cutting discs and whisks? For MUM4 there was such a stand. Does it only include 3 discs or can I fit more?

An adapter is connected to the combine, a meat grinder is attached to the adapter, a nozzle for squeezing juice is attached to the meat grinder. Here is a Lego constructor. Separately, the nozzle is useless
Lanochka007
zombokatya, thanks, now I understand

A separate large shelf is highlighted in the kitchen cabinet. Discs and small "spare parts" in a plastic container for vegetables like this, only smaller:

Large parts of the attachments are laid out on a shelf for convenience with frequent use, the combine itself is stationary on the desktop.

I have this device hanging on the wall behind the refrigerator, very convenient. You can't fit more discs there.
The rest of the attachments, in the basket, as in the photo above and in the drawer. Itself - to our table - I use it constantly.
Svetlana74
Girls, tell us how the main attachments are fixed, a whisk, a hook and a scapula, they do not hold, and that's it, I think the marriage is chtoli
PinkPanther
Svetlana74, do not be afraid, insert the attachments forcibly all the way. Just make sure that the edges of the nozzle align with the grooves in the drive. They are forcibly inserted and pulled out with force.
I am telling a story about the purchase of two attachments, which I wrote about above. I ordered a citrus attachment and a dicing attachment on the same day.
The citrus attachment fits perfectly, squeezes well, spins quickly, after all, the power of this combine is its main advantage. But of course the nozzle is pricey
The Kubixx didn’t work out so well. The information will probably be useful primarily for Ukrainian housewives, because the purchase was in online store "Rosette"... Perhaps this is some off-top, so the moderators will forgive me. Ordering, delivery - everything went great, quickly. I studied the instructions carefully, rinsed the nozzle, assembled it on the drive, cooked food for okroshka .... I turned on the combine, marveled at the rotation of the nozzle for a few seconds, then there was a crunch, and the nozzle stopped rotating. A close examination of the details showed that the protection against shaft overload worked: in the gearbox shaft there is a special safety tab with 4 pins, which break off when overloaded, and the clutch with the combine drive breaks. I show you the pictures I made for the service department.
Food processor Bosch MUM XL ... (MaxxiMUM) Food processor Bosch MUM XL ... (MaxxiMUM)
I didn't even see the attachment in action. Naturally I called the store. I was connected with the service department of the store (it turns out they have one). There, service manager Elena sympathized and asked to take detailed photos of everything: from packaging to a warranty card and a payment receipt, which I did. As a result, after a couple of days, she told me that the store could not help with anything, and that I myself needed to contact the BOSCH service center. The nearest one is 120 km away from me ... They took me away. There, one of the employees began to twist his nose, saying that this is most likely not a warranty case, and the reducer shaft costs UAH 1040 (about $ 50), and that a request should be made to Kiev if they will consider this case a warranty. Let me remind you that the nozzle itself cost 3265 UAH (about $ 150). It was very disappointing. It would be easier for the store to solve the problem itself, because if the store has a service department, it is located in Kiev, they certainly have connections with service centers. I had no choice but to leave a review with a detailed description on the portal, after which the store administration finally reacted. The same service manager informed me that she had already contacted our service center, and that my part would definitely be replaced under warranty. It's a shame that they don't want to solve such trifles without complaints and negative reviews, because it turns out that there were no difficulties at all.
This is where my off-top ends and everything begins on the case)))
Yesterday we again went to the service center for a replaced shaft, took the harvester itself, a nozzle, two cucumbers with us ... We collected everything right there and finally tested it in action! This is of course just a miracle! Awesome toy, I have no other words)) At 1 speed, two cucumbers turned into cubes in about 15 seconds! Plain, pretty ... Oh, finally!
There was also a slight upset: the coloring of the harvester body is very unstable to abrasion. It seems that the harvester was packed well, but somewhere the paint was rubbed all the same while they were taking it to the service. It's a shame.
I wish everyone never receive a defective product, and may nothing break with you!

MaxxiMUM was purchased for rye dough. When kneading the dough with a hook, it stands still, but moves slightly with its "nose". Let's hope it's not a crime for him.
And what about when kneading dough for dumplings, does not drive "nose"? Respond! Maybe it's just us he is like that.

We whipped the custard (with butter) cream with an “Absolut” stirring whisk (with a rubber pad) - we were delighted. As soon as we had not whipped it before (the recipe has lived at home for 30 years), we could not even imagine that it could be so airy and fast.

Question: what is the difference between the MUZ8MM1 multi-mixer and the MUZXLVL1 shredder? At first glance, the discs are the same. Well, there is no impeller knife in the shredder, and as far as I understood, the shredder will shred directly into the working bowl? This is true?
In the old combine, I suffered from the fact that I often had to shake it out of the bowl (it was not big). And what is the working volume of the bowl in the MUZ8MM1 multi-mixer? Tell me please.

And another question: there are MUZXLHA1 and MUZ8FA1 meat grinders. All attachments (grater, juicer, etc.) are only for MUZ8FA1. And they will not fit the second?
Got a glimpse - Grinder auger coupling (plastic fuse) Bosch 00418076
The clutch is suitable for Bosch meat grinders MFW1501, MFW1501COE, MFW1545, MFW1550, MFW1550COE - in MaxxiMUM do you need this? (I prefer to be armed to the teeth)

Well, the last question: is there an ice cream maker for our unit then?

And please tell me which online store is better to contact (more reliable and not very expensive).

Thank you in advance.

Irina, are you sure you inserted the hook all the way? It is inserted with a fairly powerful force into the body. And when the hook is installed, a protective pad is still put on the drive. The hook perfectly kneads even the tightest noodle dough.

As for the shredder: yes, the finished product is poured directly into the working 6-liter bowl, very convenient. A fabulously comfortable attachment!
I did not buy a multi-mixer as unnecessary (there is a separate unit). As I understand, besides grinding rather hard foods (chopper mode), it rubs cheese, chocolate, nuts ... It is much smaller in volume, and therefore is designed for harder foods. And all the accumulation takes place in the body of the multi-mixer, it does not fall out into the bowl during operation.

Irina13
PinkPanther, good afternoon! Thank you.
I think that we insert the hook to the end and don't forget about the pad.The "nose" is the entire horizontal part of the body that is raised and lowered with a key.

But the volume of the multi-mixer (according to the pictures) is suspiciously small for me.
PinkPanther
Ahhh, now I understand what "nose" is meant. Yes, the "head" sways slightly, not a crime.
And the useful volume of the multimixer is up to 0.5 l, in fact not much.
Babushka
Irina13, here is the MUZ8MM1 multi-mixer next to the liter bottle and the instruction page for how much to grind which products. English version only, sorry.

Hello. Help people.
I wanted the Bosh maxximum harvester so much and finally got it, and thanks to this site I bought different attachments.
But here is the tragedy; neither the MUZ8MX2 attachment (blender) nor the meat grinder with the adapter I can adapt to the combine. For some reason, the connections are different. Who can explain? And what to do?
merrycook
Good day! I have purchased all MaxxiMUM attachments. Including MUZ8FV1 juicing press for the MUZ8FW1 meat grinder. With great difficulty, I adapted the press to the meat grinder, or rather put the press on the meat grinder, and then took it off. Maybe someone has such a press? Do you have such problems? By the way, the juice squeezed from red currants never turned into jelly.
merrycook
mimoza39, My meat grinder and blender are well attached. Only in the meta of attaching the meat grinder behind a little juice flows when grinding meat.

Owners of this unit, please tell me, is it worth buying? Everyone likes? How does the dough mix? For 3 months now I have been suffering with a choice😓

I harassed myself, bought this unit, happy as an elephant, Urrrra!

I liked the harvester very much. Kneading the dough, just super, as it should, crumple, grind. I baked rural French bread with sourdough, it turned out super. : ok: I made a cupcake with raisins according to GOST, an absolute spatula, generally super, the cake turned out to be voluminous when baking. It remains to try to whip and bake the biscuit.
Anchic
Yesterday they took the mumik. Today I tested it on the test - beautyaaa! the dough is great!
Stavr
Anchic, Congratulations, our regiment has arrived !!!
Anchic
Konstantin, Thank you. Now I still need to swing my husband so that he can make a bedside table for me. We need to make repairs in our kitchen, but so far this is not a very near future issue. Therefore, the place must be organized for a combine - make a small bedside table so that it is always available.

Anchic, Yes, such a weight: D must stand in a conspicuous place Even if this place is not. It’s worth organizing. My friends come into the kitchen with the words WOW!

And what is not crazy money for you? I ordered a cube cutter for 5225r on the Bosch website for a day. Delivery to the Moscow region is usually 350r, but now they are when ordering from 2990r. the discount is just 350r. To this tune, I immediately decided to go broke on a baking sheet, otherwise I need another one for the oven.

Good day everyone!

Please tell me - we want to buy a meat grinder for Maksimka and the questions arose:
- does it take films and veins? but sometimes it is simply not possible to thoroughly clean the meat, and why buy it with such problems?
- will the rated power be the same as that of the combine itself?
- is there a reverse?
- is there overheating protection?
Thank you in advance!
Anchic
Irina13, I can’t tell you about the meat grinder. I have a separate one, so so far there are no plans to buy it to Boshik. About films and veins - I think that the main problem is in the sharpening of knives. That is, if you undermine it, it will most likely take it. And so - any knife will become dull over time and the films will simply wrap around it.

Good evening! My MaxxiMUM is like a kneader without a meat grinder, and there is a meat grinder in MUM 4856. I really like it, one might say omnivorous, grinds all veins and films.

Can you please tell me, do we need to register our combine with Bosch?
