Girls, hello everyone!
I'm thinking about what to choose a Bosch MCM5529 Food Processor (Bosch Cube) or a BOSCH MCM 68885 Food Processor. 68885 likes that there is a whisk and a nozzle for Korean carrots. Can you make ordinary mashed potatoes with it? I'm not confusing anything, 5529 can it? And 68885?
And what is it in the photo on the left, behind the nozzle for cubes and a case for discs - there are three of some kind, one of them, as I understand it, is a pusher, and the other two - what is it? And yet - under the whisk there are 2 knives - one metal, and the second plastic - is it used for kneading the dough?
Please answer, otherwise I found little information on the Internet on 68885
Food processor Bosch MultiTalent MCM68885

8veleri8, and you read the whole Temko. Here, for all nozzles, it is very affordable

There really is a pusher next to the bag. Even two. The pusher consists of two parts, which are inserted into each other. If you are cutting large vegetables, such as potatoes, then push the two pushers together. If you cut thin carrots or cucumbers, then you need to insert the outer part of the pusher into the neck of the bowl, and push the inner part. This is so that thin vegetables do not fall on their side and are cut into circles and not ovals. And the thin gray matte plastic thing is the bit holder. There are two or one such holders for the cube nozzle (it has a slightly wider lower part and there is a sticker with the image of the nozzle itself). The other is for the rest of the attachments. For a whisk and a base for graters and discs, this holder is set like that. And for a universal knife and a dough knife (in the photo under the whisk), a wide cone is put on the holder from above (in the photo it is in the bowl) and then the necessary knife is put on the cone. There is one more topic dedicated to this combine. Rather, the entire MSM series. Come in https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=311888.0

I bought a combine harvester in Tyumen for 7300 rubles, probably inexpensive, sales ... before the holidays. I read the forum here inside and out, but I still did not understand one and the most simple !!! What a nozzle and why !!! For example, a julienne nozzle. Why is it called julienne and what is it for in general? Even simpler questions: How to grate green onions, parsley, dill? How to chop cabbage if you need squares, not a shredder. I bought in addition all the attachments that go to it, but I still did not understand what and what to rub and, most importantly, what product? I'm very interested in where you can buy a small mill for MCM - which is for a combine of the same series, but for some reason the Bosch company, so that it would fail, did not come up with an option to buy a combine with all these disks and bells and whistles. I would be very grateful if they created a simple and necessary topic, only about the attachments and what you can rub with them, because there is nothing useful in bulk and there is nothing useful, only one flood - this one bought that one bought, why all this?
Galleon-6
And I would love to see

Why is it called julienne and what is it for in general?
This nozzle is so called from the name of the method of cutting into thin strips. She cuts it into thin strips. Why you need it, it is up to you to decide what products and why you will cut just such straws. You can, for example, on Korean carrots.
How to grate green onions, parsley, dill?
I cut with a utility knife, but a small amount doesn't make sense. At least for me.
How to chop cabbage if you need squares, not a shredder.
Try the cube attachment. It depends on what squares you need, if 1X1 cm, then nothing.
there is nothing useful here, only one flood - this one bought that one bought, why all this
So no one had such questions.
The girls who write messages in this thread know why they bought the harvester. If there are any specific questions, they are asked here and together we are looking for answers. The instruction is attached to the combine. You study it and decide for which dish you need a certain cut. For example, after buying this combine I tried to cut vegetables for soups into cubes. I really liked it and now I use cubes for these purposes more often than a grater. Ask specific questions, for example, how to cut beets for borscht - they will share their experience with you.
I would be very grateful if you could create a simple and necessary topic, only about attachments
I assure you that no one will take a cookbook and enter all the necessary modes and attachments for each recipe separately. This is not real. Moreover, each of us can cut food in different ways. I will try to describe the attachments in more detail later, but this will take some time. Maybe someone else will join me.
LenaJr
I rubbed the carrots with the thinnest grater, the result is an ordinary fine grater, so I don't know now why I bought a medium

About the attachments: 🔗 - all the attachments are here, we type MUZ45 and here they are all in front of you, MUZ45AG1 - we don't buy this disc, it is already included in our package.

If someone breaks a nozzle for cutting into cubes - a mesh - write in a personal, in our city they are on sale, made in Germany. I do not know the truth, what is there for the price, did not pay attention. For the rest of the spare parts, everything is complicated, nowhere to buy, and in Germany, including

Girls, I read almost the whole topic, 2 questions arose:
1. Can I rub cheese and chocolate and with what?
2. Does this combine have a juicer? (You need to squeeze more berries)
degteva
Americanka, here is an excerpt from the instructions:
double-sided disc shredder - for shredding vegetables, fruits and cheese of any kind (except for hard e.g. parmesan) .
By analogy with parmesan, you can't rub chocolate. And I read it somewhere (I don't remember now). I have been using the combine for 1.5 years. As I studied everything when buying, it went well in my head. I never grated chocolate, and neither did cheese.
Americanka
Degteva, eh great sadness: (((in our family there is one parmesan and they eat ((i.e., just buy a special nozzle?
degteva
So you have a harvester or are you just thinking to buy not to buy?
Americanka
Degteva, on the weekend I'm going to pick it up)

Alina, I rubbed the cheese with a fine grater and a pancake grater, depending on what is needed. On a fine one, it rubbed like through an ordinary grater, and when I rubbed it with a grater for potato pancakes, the cheese was rubbed very finely, well, like cereal or something.
And if you want to wipe the berries cleanly, then rubbing is very suitable for this: it perfectly separates the juice and pulp from the seeds and skin (I rubbed the cranberries - it turned out great). In order to squeeze juice from oranges, grapefruit, lemon - there is a citrus press, but it will not work for vegetable juices. So choose what you need for yourself.

Americankahappy. You get such an assistant for yourself. I wish you a lot of culinary discoveries and delicious dishes.
Americanka
Natalia, thank you very much, you gave so much valuable advice !!!
Degteva, thanks! Check out the comment above, cheese can be rubbed with other discs, hurray!

Girls, tell me the mini mill comes to MSM68885. I need it to grind nuts and chocolate.

Hello everyone!
Boshik just ordered!
They will bring you on Wednesday (it's so convenient to take delivery)!
URAAAA! Hands itch ....
Long choosing between Bosch and Philips!
LiLy11
Congratulations on your purchase, you made the right choice in favor of the Bosch. I think you will not be disappointed)))
Murka777
Girls, tell me, does someone make mashed potatoes in a blender? if yes, which attachment is a whisk or a knife? and by what technology: immediately put potatoes and milk or then dilute?
NataliaVoronezh
Julia, the blender is not intended for mashed potatoes. If you buy a rub from the 5529 combine for it, then through it you get an awesome puree.
Malinka110
Good afternoon everyone! About a month ago I bought my Boshik! I had a manual meat grinder, I hadn’t used it for 100 years, the blender + mixer was inexpensive and broke down in summer. I decided to take it all in one. I chose between Bosch MCM 68885 and Bosch MUM 54240 Styline. I chose 68885, because it has more power, you can grind meat with a knife - an analogue of a meat grinder, at 54240 the power is definitely not enough for the normal operation of a meat grinder. I want to share my impressions. I use it every day, take it out several times on weekends. It is quite compact in terms of storage, occupies a shelf in the closet. Made Olivier, vinaigrette - just fine. Salad Tenderness from chicken breast with pineapple, I cut the breast into cubes - I liked it, the pineapples were cut badly, all the juice flowed out, so it's better with their hands, grated eggs on a coarse grater, cheese on a fine one. Russian cheese, rubbed very well. Charlotte dough, pancakes are kneaded quickly and the result is excellent. I don't want to do anything with my hands, I rub carrots into the soup only in it on a coarse grater (it suits me, they wrote here that it is large, but the soup turns out beautiful), I cut onions into sauerkraut, into herring, into soup, too, then I cut it in half ... I even cut the smoked sausage on a thin grater, it worked out well, but it was necessary to keep it straight on the thick one, otherwise it would pull it to the side. I made carrots in Korean, a bit short, of course, cuts, but nevertheless it turned out fine, and on a fine grater - carrots with garlic and mayonnaise. In a blender I make my favorite mashed soups, but it's inconvenient, unlike a submersible blender, that you have to wait until the soup cools down - I'm afraid to pour boiling water. I also made a milkshake in a blender - the child is delighted. I chopped the meat into cutlets with a knife, cut the pork into pieces, chicken breast, onions, was afraid to put potatoes there, rubbed on a fine grater, then I still had to chop it with a knife, then I added salt, pepper, an egg - the cutlets turned out to be very tasty and juicy. The only thing - the meat was sinewy and these veins came across a little. Next time I'll put everything in right away, I think the knife will knead the minced meat. With this sheath, I just cut onions, for example, into a vinaigrette - it suits me, I won't say that it smears much on the walls. In general, I use Boshik in full, I'm very happy, I can't imagine how I used to live without him. Maybe I forgot to write something else that I was cooking))) The assembly is of high quality, the plastic is solid, it is easy to clean, but I also have a dishwasher.
Tell me, who bought an extra citrus press - are you satisfied or not, is it worth buying?
Alekksa
They brought it !!!! HURRAH!!!
Collected in 15 minutes, this is with a nozzle cubes!
I've been puffing on a grater for 30 minutes!
How to dress her ?? Is the pin thin or thick?
The fat one does not fit, I put it on a thin one .... the lid does not close ...
My husband will arrive late, but I can't wait!
NataliaVoronezh
There is a separate pin where the thick one is dressed on the thin one. Remove the thick one (knives are put on it), and the thin one for graters.

Girls please tell me

1. What is the size of the cubes of this combine?
2. What is the size of the fries?

Thank you!
Venera007
The size of the cubes is about 6-7 mm, I didn't measure exactly.
I'm fine for soup, but too small for fruit salad.
And I don't have a fries grater, for some reason it was not included in the package

I myself use it for three days, and still have not tried it, but I turn it on every day, two times for sure.
Olga_Tarkh
Venera007, thanks for the answer. 6-7 mm is not enough for my taste

Girls, which combine has a 10-12 mm cube cutter? Tell me please!
Murka777
Today I was kneading the dough for the honey cake, and what do you think, it, like many others, got out on the drive ((((Kapets, I also read that many people have this and I got it myself, although the reason is honestly not at all clear as why it climbs out there, laundered, works, but still it is not clear how to knead the dough there ...

Girls, all the good time of the day !!! Maybe someone bought additional nozzles, where you can buy a nozzle.I’m looking on the Internet, maybe I’m looking, but I haven’t found it yet. I have been living with a combine harvester for almost a year and still cannot get used to the lack of a medium grater. I decided to attend to this issue
Maryka
Good evening, Bosch owners. Please tell us some kind of oil on the whisk reducer and on the gears where it is attached, what to do with it?
degteva
Maryka, I have no idea what you are talking about?
Maryka
When you take out the whisk from the gearbox, there is grease at the end, and in the gearbox itself, where are the gears that turn the whisk. If you wash the whisk, the grease is washed off, then you put it in the gearbox, it is smeared again. Has anyone come across this?
I went to the service center, they said that the technical grease was based on silicone.
Lika2882
I will duplicate here too ...
Hello girls !! I look at Boshik ... help me figure it out pliz !! Does kono-nib have a disc for fries, is the cat sold separately and is it NOT in a semicircle, but flat? I wonder if it fits to 68885, and if so, then the bars (according to my logic) should be straight, not a semicircle ?! Is the whisk able to whip the protein to hard peaks or is it the current for the pancake dough? And yet, I read here how you knead the dough in seconds ... And it is very different from the dough that the cat kneads in the kitchen of the machine or our pens ... it's just hard to imagine it, but you write so temptingly ...
degteva
Lika2882, kneads proteins to the peaks, kneads dumplings dough simply, but I stir slightly adding flour by hand. And I knead the pancake dough in the blender that is included.
Lika2882
degteva, that is, you then wrinkle it with your hands, because there is no mess, right? Or is it just that you feel calmer, but you can do without it? The videos show how the impurities leave after settling in the refrigerator ... Is it wrong with you?
Lika2882
I do not have a strong need for a smart dough mixer, I rarely make dumplings, but I rarely even want to finish it with my hands ... the 'tolerable' dough will suit me ...
degteva
Lika2882, I mix it with my hands, because after all, the combine is not intended for dumplings. It does the most unpleasant thing for me, and even with the handles, you can bring it to the desired condition. I'm afraid the motor won't hold up. I have been studying this topic for a long time, so I can't write the details, but that's how it is. The harvester has been in operation for two years.
Lika2882
Yeah, okay. I thought so approximately, although its power is decent for a tough test ... but probably the principle of operation itself is not the same ... Thanks degteva!
lira3003
Lika2882, you try the recipe dough https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...on=com_smf&topic=283291.0
I don't mix anything with my hands, I put it in a bag and in the refrigerator, take it out and then you can stir it just to clear your conscience😊. That is, you put the crumb into the bag, and take out the finished dough. Try it, everything is very simple. In general, because of my sore wrists, I can't knead a steep dough, but I often cook dumplings with Boshik. True, I roll the dough on the Atlas.

There is: Blender electric Philips HR1669 / 90
just need to additionally buy attachments for cubes of different sizes.
Lika2882
lira3003, so I saw him on YouTube !! And I wanted to ask the verified bakers whether it is or not !! Wow! Thank you!!
lira3003
Well, I'm glad I answered. Good luck☺
Lika2882
Girls, what is the useful volume of the bowl? How much flour can be used for the dough and how much cottage cheese to milk the casserole?
Lika2882
: yahoo: Hooray !!! Brought in today !! I boiled vegetables for vinaigrette, waiting in the refrigerator for their time ...
Marfusha5
Lika2882, congratulations on a wonderful purchase !!!!))))
Lika2882
Marfusha5, Thank you!!
Made a shog vinaigrette ... Greed made it three times more than usual volume !! Through the cube, in addition to the standard vegetables, I also missed sauerkraut (it was too lazy to poke around) and greens - generally super, I chopped everything right, the size for me is just right. It’s a pity that he himself does not mix and does not add oil)) There are no trimmings, there is only one strip of onion at the ass, the cat. always and with manual cutting remains. And in the wash, the identity made me happy, I didn't even put it in the PMM, I rinsed it and that's it.
Virgin, is the nozzle only suitable for mashed potatoes? What are the big holes there? I need fruit juice for berries ...
Marfusha5
Lika2882, I rubbed cranberries and lingonberries through a rub in the fall. I went with a bang. Everything will be great with the rest of the berries. Holes can be about 3 mm. I have to look, I've got everything in the box. Rubbing at the top leaves only the rind, seeds and stalks, everything else falls into the bowl.
Lika2882
Marfusha5, oh that's the joy! Take it means too !! Thank you!! I already ordered a medium grater and fries
Marfusha5
Lika2882, with french fries at first I did not work out))) it turned out some stubs and crumbs instead of cubes. Then it came, I threw the potatoes into the already spinning combine and did not even have time to insert the pusher. And you first need to put the potatoes, press it with a pusher and only then turn on the speed, I use the impulse mode.)))) Then the cubes are almost perfect, if you do not look that they are slightly arched.
I have a medium grater, for french fries, cube cutters and rubbing in a food processor are the most popular. Buy, you will not regret it.
Lika2882
Marfusha5Thanks for the tip !! I wouldn't have thought of it myself ...
