Somehow the proofing without baking does not work properly, if you program it yourself For the second time I come across this problem ... The first time I thought that I set up something wrong. Today I decided to bake sourdough bread in the oven. Since I do not have a kneading machine, I decided to do the kneading and the first proofing in a bread maker. I programmed the oven for kneading for 30 minutes and proofing for 30 minutes (I decided to save time, since the standard dough is 1.5 hours). After the beep, she went to the bread maker to take out the bucket and got burned, because she took it with her bare hands. Naturally, after this, there can be no talk of any shaping, I put the whole thing on baking, now I am sitting upset. For several days I grew the leaven, put the dough in the evening and such a bummer
Pakat
Nataly_rz, miracles do not happen, check yourself, it means that you are doing something wrong, most likely you did not set the baking time to zero ...
If you cannot program again, do it in dough mode, just turn off and take out the dough as soon as you need ...
Nataly_rz
I checked everything, baking 0, of course I will use the dough in the future, just when it squeaks, it is much more convenient. I put the dough, went for five minutes to see what's new on the bread maker. ru, so 1.5 hours flew by

Pelaga, so my problem with the bread maker began after I made strawberry jam in July. Just at the dacha they picked a berry and I decided to cook it ... My bucket flowed. Of course, I cleaned everything out of the depression into which the sweet jam had dripped ... The next day I put the bread down and, while kneading the bucket, let's jump in the oven. In short, the twist at the bottom of the bucket bent ...
My advice is to look for a new bucket, and you can do it faster than the Service Center ... I'm still waiting. I am already looking in Moscow where I can buy and somehow send here ...
It would be better if I bought something cheaper, now it would not be so sorry ...

beginner chl. Help the baker - in xp, when setting the program for kneading, should the batch numbers light up 1.2.3.to know the time of the batch. how to expose. to burn if necessary?
kroshka
I do not know how you mean it to be highlighted, just by clicking on the menu button you see the program number you need, automatically HB is switched on for 1 program, and so only the timer will be visible, well, something like that .. may not understand the question

no, there are picture icons and shows just a picture without a number. They are on the side. Above - weight, below the color of the crust.

Dear Kenwood BM450 Owners! Re-reading the whole topic for a very long time, sorry. I have a few questions. If you compare DeLongy 125 and Ken 450 in programming, are there any significant differences? (The fact that it is impossible to remove the boning, I already read in the instructions). Maybe there are people who have used both stoves. I also found that the additives from the dispenser are added at 2nd deboning. Do they interfere well? Since in DeLongy this happens in 8 minutes. until the end of the main batch. And another question, is the coating of the bucket good? Will it not climb? DeLonga is in trouble with this
kroshka
VADERKO good, although I have been working constantly and only for 3 months, but so far there are no complaints, the additives are added normally, as it was not possible to compare with others, so the work on kneading and mixing suits, I must probably try on other Hb .. ...
k.alena
Also enlighten with this question plz
I also found that additives from the dispenser are added at 2nd deboning. Do they interfere well?
I really like the stove outwardly, but I don't want to give up the usual amenities (I have been using DeLogi 125 for a year and a half)

Hello dear bakers. Please accept a novice baker into your ranks. Recently acquired HP KENWOOD BM450. The oven is wonderful, it baked very well at first, but today, at the end of baking, for some reason it turned off? Maybe someone had such a problem, please write.

We bought a bread maker through an online store, but neither the courier nor we could find the serial number on its case. The warranty card is not valid without the serial number? Please tell us if this number is on your stoves, and if not, how was the issue of warranty service resolved?

I bought a Kenwood BM450 bread maker through the online store. It turned out that there was no serial number on its case - neither the courier nor I could find it. In the warranty card, the item "serial number" was left blank. Tell us if there is a serial number on your stoves, and if not, how was the issue of warranty service resolved?
Danik51
There is a serial number on my stove, or maybe it was made in Odessa galleries

You are wrong. Additives from the dispenser are poured during kneading, after which the batch continues for a few more minutes
tanya123
On my HP, the serial number is at the bottom.
OJGG
and yet, tell me on which mode to bake bread a) millet-rye; b) rye? you are welcome
OJGG
There on page 7 there is program 14 baking -
"Bake only program. Can also be used to heat or dry previously baked and cooled bread. Use the timer buttons to set the operating time. Time - 0:10 - 1:30"
Where is this? And I looked at the instructions and the recipe book - I did not find it again, poke your finger who found
Nataly_rz
Rye bread and wheat-rye bread are baked perfectly on the main program. To select only baked goods, you need to press the program selection button until the number 14 pops up, then manually set the baking time
tanya123
I also bake rye on the main program. It turns out fine
OJGG
I also tried to bake on the main one, the dough was kneaded, it began to rise, and then again the program was 15 seconds. kneading, my dough got mixed up, stuck to one side of the bucket and already there it was left to lie. In general, the roll is on its side and not raised ...

All programs are described in the instructions, if you do not have it, you can take #, and in the box there should have been a transparent sticker listing the programs, I pasted it on the side surface, so that once again I would not climb into the instructions
OJGG
And tell me please, when the kneading is in progress, the batch numbers are lit near the batch icon, they do not burn for me, maybe this is a stove defect? - mode 1, maybe they burn in other modes? I am still learning

I bake bread only with sourdough, rye according to the program compiled by Vanya 28

https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...on=com_smf&topic=9345.180

here are recipes in the same topic https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...tion=com_smf&topic=9345.0

I bake like this: starter from 270-400 gr. (by mood and quantity of available starter culture)
salt 1-2 tsp , sugar - 1 tbsp. l. or a spoonful of honey, water 310 ml (if there is more starter culture, then there is less water). 4st. l kvass wort (you can do without it), about 450 g of rye flour (you can also make it in a mixture with wheat). Additives on request, red pepper, paprika, seeds, caraway seeds and other seeds.

All stoves can do it.

Not all. For example, according to the instructions for Vitesse-420, she does not. Therefore, I did not take it. But it belongs to the category of cheap bread makers.

and here hello is already written.
This is just in case, two links to where about Kenwood 450 and about the rye recipe.
You have the right idea with this recipe, this is a very easy and not complicated recipe - a good preparation for various additives in rye bread (options), including those with sourdough instead of yeast!
Once again, well done!

Thanks everyone for the help! The fact is that I read the forum and could not come to an excellent result .... For some reason, when I make bread according to a recipe, I always have little flour and I have to add, it always seems to me that the bun is liquid. I made bread, it says right in the recipe that there shouldn't be a bun, the dough will be watery, I did so ... The bread turned out delicious, but didn't rise .... So I asked for such a recipe that will always turn out to have its for a sample. I don’t want to bake wheat bread, it’s black ...

Guys! Can you please tell me if it is possible to bake rye bread in the gluten-free mode? Maybe not bother with all sorts of stops, combining programs ...

You were shown in the post above how to do this in Kenwood.
Something is wrong?
Danik51
This is a stove with a new technology, it can all be modern than other stoves, it is still the best of the best.
an_domini
For dumplings and noodles, you need a simple kneading mode without heating. There is no such thing in Ken. There are 255 in Panasonic.
Danik51Your enthusiasm for your stove, of course, is understandable, but they ask a real question, do not mislead people, read the instructions again.
Val
"This is a stove with a new technology, it can all be modern than other stoves, it is still the best of the best."

Well, it says loudly! In programming, she is still inferior to Delongy 125, and it is weak for her to knead a dough weighing 1.7 kg at a time. Let's reasonably hang the labels "the best of the best", or it is better not to "hang them" at all, so as not to offend the happy owners, for example, the same Alaska or Muli, or LV. And what does "best" mean in general? For each baker, his stove is the best (unless, of course, she's not broken). It has already been repeatedly mentioned here on the forum that it is useless to praise any one brand, and if we want to help people who have not yet made their choice, then give them the most useful information about the capabilities and characteristics of models that have been tested on our own experience.
Do not consider, no one, please, my statement is personal. Simply, reading recently, on the forum, answers to people asking for advice on acquiring this "miracle-technology", I wanted to voice "thoughts-aloud", it just so happened that in your topic
Natalia
Good afternoon, dear colleagues!
I bought Ken 450. I took a long time to choose, I was soaring. The car is beautiful, reliable (in appearance), large - I thought it would be smaller (judging by the photo).
A couple of thoughts from a beginner - it may be useful for those choosing. It was quite possible to buy something simpler))). Moral - buy for your money and what you like externally, do not worry too much. All of them are cool and they will bake bread for you. And will I get to programming - it's a question)))))))
First baked Italian from Admin. No comments (from my amateur point of view). Neither add nor subtract. For the Italian, the truth has added Mediterranean herbs and basil in a tablespoon, but this is on the go. Many thanks to Admin for the intelligible recipes and interesting and useful posts, and the kolobok theory was also very useful to me. Thank you!
The second was Darnitsky from Fugaska on kefir. The roof has fallen, but delicious, I will experiment.
Then she baked according to standard recipes from the book to Ken -450. So far everything worked out. I only give a chuuutka less yeast. Let's say where 1.5 I give 1.3 tsp.
You have to try everything))))
Huge sincere merci once again Admin, Uncle Sam, Vanya 28, and Mamms for intelligible benevolent advice and thoughts - they helped me in my choice and generally helped)))
I thank all the forum participants.
A very useful thing is a bread maker))))) I'm happy, amen)))))))
Danik51
I congratulate you, the stove is very good, I have been using it for half a year and am very pleased.
gardener candidate
And I have been using it for less than a month and I see that it works louder than the Panasonic 255 (I have had 255 Panas for more than a year) and the bread, with all things being equal, in Kenwood turns out to be much denser. I even like it, it is closer to the traditional one.
outline
Ladies and Gentlemen!
Good day!
I apologize in advance for the unusual request, but please take it seriously and, if possible, respond. The bottom line is this:
In the programming mode of the BM450 oven, I set the time for different stages of kneading and holding the dough, and set the baking time to zero. For example like this:

1) Temperature equalization - 0 min.
Mix 1 = 5 min.
Mix 2 = 25 min.
Rise 1 = 30 min.
Rise 2 = 1:00 hour.
Rise 3 = 1:00 hour.
Baking = 0 min.
Heating = 0 min.

The arithmetic sum is 3:00 hours. And the display shows 3:10 hours. The reason is that the baked goods will still turn on for 10 minutes. Tested by sad experience.
Trying other options:
2) set the baking time 5 minutes -> on display 3:15 hours
3) set the baking time 10 minutes -> on display 3:10 hours (!)
4) set the baking time 15 minutes -> on display 3:15 hours (!)

That is, if the baking time is less than ten minutes, then 10 minutes are added to the entered value, and if more, then everything is correct.

Do not consider it a work, check how it works for you and report the results. For the purity of the experiment, it is better to take my settings, and the answer is easier to write - just the number of the option and the time on the display. There is no need to start the program for execution, the resulting time will be displayed on the display after the stove beeps several times, confirming the end of the program recording. All you need is to push the programming buttons for a few minutes. For my stove, this is a matter of life or service (or even ...).

Thank you in advance for your help!
Bri
And in our suburbs or in Moskvka, can you buy a round shape somewhere? I also want to....

Was on the site 🔗 (-fixed) about Kenwood BM 450 - nothing! The question arose: "Do the manufacturers themselves even know that they have such a model? (After all, more than a year has passed since it appeared!). I went through many stores - I found one, and it arouses suspicion.
