It is very convenient for me that the lid is put on (both on the right and on the left). And then in the staff figure out where to put it.
I found a picture showing these cuts in the handles. It's good that on both sides, otherwise the lid on the right interferes with me. By the way about the staff. I had in mind just the shte, mulinexes (white and black, but they are 5 liters, and I have the main argument in store for my family that I don't have a 6 liter yet) and this redmod. Lenat, in spite of the fact that you do not use this cartoon very actively, could you compare it with the staff? Does she lose to her or not? It's just that the staff is so praised, but for some reason she doesn't lie to my soul. But I want a reliable and high quality one. Here I sit, waiting for this test of time to pass.
Lenat
Nothing interesting (: I have a lot of them). I only use this one as a pressure cooker. I bought a stainless steel for her from the arches, for the "bones".
innesss-ka
Julia I., and silicone strongly smells? I see you cook both sweet and meat, smells don't mix?
Lenat
innesss-ka, well, how will she lose? Need to install 1 degree - please, t from 30, turn off the heating in advance, turn off the sound. Frying just not strong, in Brand 6051 quickly. I don't know, I like it. And she removed the staff higher because of the cover.
innesss-ka
Lenat, well, forgive me for asking a lot of questions. I want to understand. Cook little in it, because it turns out worse than in others? I understand that you have a choice in what to cook. But this one also has great functionality. Have you even tried to cook your favorite dishes just for fun? For comparison, for example. for importunity
innesss-ka
It may be funny, but the staff also scares me with a lid and a squeak.
Lenat
Squeak is okay, but a large, square lid from which streams of water flow - yes.

Lenat
We have it, 6590. It flows, but when you put it on, the water flows acno.

I have this cartoon - the third in a row (there is Land Life and Brand 37501), but it has become my favorite. There were no shoals with any baked goods, no milk or soups. And when she made a kabonade on Slowing and the family diminished it IMMEDIATELY, saying that they had never eaten SUCH meat, there was no doubt.
innesss-ka
poglazowa2011, thanks for the tip. Do you cook soups / borscht under pressure? I am wondering if it is convenient to cook without pressure, where a phased bookmark is required. Does the lid block on a program without pressure (for example, Mol. Porridge), but at the same time, is there sufficient boiling?
poglazowa2011
I cook all soups, borscht, hodgepodge under pressure on the "Soup" program. I cook milk porridge only for "Mol. Porridge" - I put everything in, I turned on the program and I don't look any more. And now I don't remember whether the valve rises or not. But the porridge turns out to be gorgeous, so the boil is sufficient. But nothing escapes.

Girls, I have another question - in terms of size. Does it take up a lot of space on the table? (can you tell me the diameter of the case, but I'll figure it out). And, if possible, I'm interested in the height along with the lid on the side - will it fit under the cabinet?

We have a different code word. And the discount is only 15%. I'm still thinking. I thought I'd check it - they'll give you a 30% discount - I'll order it. And then I'll get out. But I haven't decided yet. Maybe next. buy a share. In the meantime, I will prepare the soil.

Py. sy. I asked about the size. Mnu has a redmond similar in color and shape, but three rubles.I think my can and will not notice the difference?

Julia I., does silicone keep a strong smell? I see you cook both sweet and meat, smells don't mix?
The smell keeps, if the ring itself is sniffed, but the smells do not mix in the food, it did not smell anything alien. Just in case, I still want to buy an additional ring, if they are in the warranty.

poglazowa2011, tell us about carbonate, please.

Diameter with handles approx. 35 cm, height approx. 53 cm (if with lid).

About carbonade - they bought pork neck, kabonad or pork for baking, the main thing is that in one piece. Approximately 600-800 gr. You can simply grate with spices for meat, stuffed with garlic, carrots and let marinate in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours, or better - overnight. And you can make a saline solution, with spices, and also - in the refrigerator. You can just marinate like a shish kebab, also at night. I wrap the meat (if not in solution) in a baking sleeve, that is, it is marinated in it. If marinated in solution, wrap it in a bag before cooking. Then put on "Vexation", somewhere between 1 hour 20 minutes - 1 hour 30 minutes. Let cool after the end of the program for about 20 minutes, then cool on the table and - in the refrigerator, again, better overnight. But here we like straight hot meat more, while it is still juicy. That's who you like. Like this ...
innesss-ka
Julia I., thank you! Well, I figured it out with a centimeter tape: the height from the table to the upper cabinet is exactly 53 cm. That is, it will be clear only empirically. Dimensions of my multi: height with an open lid - 47, diameter (without handles) - 27. If you do not pay attention to the presence of handles and with a closed lid, then it does not differ much from the 3-liter (for inattentive). And so, it reminded me very strongly:
"However
During the journey
Dog
I could grow up! "

I can’t be silent. Russians, now they have a discount of almost 40%. Price -3999.
Julia I.
innesss-ka, if the matter is only in the lid, then maybe it will be possible to somehow push it outside the cabinet? Or just shoot, it's even more convenient for me. And the diameter without handles is about the same - 28-29.
And your price is a little over $ 60? A very good discount, I bought mine for 85, and now it is already more expensive.

poglazowa2011, thanks for the recipe!
innesss-ka
Julia I., It is in Russia. We (in Ukraine) do not have it on sale yet. For this price, I would have immediately taken it too, then it would have already been seen.
I don’t worry too much about the lid, anyway, when I cook, I push it to the edge of the table. I asked more to understand the size. It’s even strange: 3 liters and 6, and the difference in the case is not that big. Although, I remember, when I bought a three-ruble note, I did not expect it to be so high (over 5 liters).

About a month ago this multicooker-pressure cooker appeared. Before that was Panasonic, it suited everyone. Here is the same delicious pilaf, meat with vegetables is even better, stewing is excellent, and faster in time. The only thing with which we still do not add up is with baked goods, I tried charlotte and cottage cheese casserole, it’s very bad, it will not rise, I don’t understand what is the matter, the recipes are proven. In the recipes for this cartoon (booklet) it is generally indicated close the lid remove the steam valve, it's like! Do you remove the steam valve when baking? I sin on the valve, I baked it when it was open, I will try it even when it is closed. And what does it mean to remove the mystery valve. I looked for information, in some Redmond the steam valve is really removable, it is inside the lid and can be removed, only here I did not understand how to do it and whether it is possible at all, and whether it is necessary. In general, there would be a normal instruction without jambs and errors - there would be no price.
I want to cook milk rice porridge for breakfast, if I run away, how many people write about cartoons, I will be very upset and my opinion will change ...
poglazowa2011
Do not be afraid for milk porridge, he will not run away. Already cooked, checked.
And the valve is in fact removed - nothing complicated: put it in the "Open" position and then turn it even further than the "Open" icon (the valve seems to rise) and then pull it out of the socket with an upward movement.
But personally, when baking, I don't take out the valve, I just put it in the "Open" position. The baked goods are VERY good!
The day before yesterday I baked a Vanilla biscuit on boiling water (not the first time) - lush, high. I also make cottage cheese casserole periodically - and also without problems. This morning I cooked an omelet on the Pastry - generally in shock: I have never seen such an omelette - a beautiful crust came up from below!
Evva
poglazowa2011, thanks for the answer! I'll try again. Please write down the recipe for the biscuit you are making, in exact proportions. And an omelet. I do everything according to recipes, and I don’t understand how it could not work out, everything seems to be simple, the same proportions, and the baking does not rise.
Do you make milk porridge with a closed valve? My is getting ready. Everywhere they write that a multicooker is preparing milk porridge in the mode (I'm talking about our model), but no, a pressure cooker, for about 10 minutes, is already gaining pressure and time in place.
Julia I.
My porridge also never ran away. I do not remove the valve when baking, I just leave it open, sometimes the baked goods are high, sometimes not very good, but always tasty and well baked, so I am satisfied.
But about the omelet, tell us how much of what do you put? And then in the book recipe 10 eggs are taken, somehow this is too
Evva
Milk porridge turned out just right! I am very happy! I shouldn't have worried. Did not run away, did not burn. After 20 minutes (even before that 15 minutes, the pressure was approximately gaining), I kept it on heating for 15 minutes, thickened perfectly. I added dried apricots and prunes, I like rice porridge that way.

I can't give the exact recipe, everything is "by eye" ... Well, about 4 eggs, a glass of milk, a pinch of salt - beat with a blender (whisk, NOT "with your foot!"). "Baking" for about 30 minutes. That is, I got up in the morning and immediately put on an omelet. While the children are washing, getting ready, the beds are being made - just half an hour passes. Very comfortably!
Julia I.
I tried the omelette - it worked well. And I also found a recipe for barbecue on the Internet, that is, the meat is marinated and then made on "baked goods". Well, to be honest, not impressed. More precisely, the meat was soft and tasty, but I did not understand what relation it has to kebab.
Evva
And I read a lot of praise about the pea soup with smoked meats, yes, the soup in the cartoon turned out to be delicious, in general, like in an ordinary pan, but smoked meats, this smell now does not leave the ring. I took smoked ribs, they are fatty, in general, smoked for an amateur, with chicken, for example, it is much tastier, as I usually do.

from Land Life there are excellent bowls (non-stick and stainless steel) in size that coincide with the size of the bowl of this multi

The stainless steel bowl from Land Life fit perfectly, although it is slightly higher than the "native"
Bowl height 15.7. Standard diameters 24 and 22.
(these are the measurements of the bowl from the redmond 380)

Girls, HELP! A little higher is how much? Will 16cm work?
How much is a stainless steel LL?
Larssevsk
For pressure cookers, bowls that are not native, especially those differing in size, CANNOT be used in pressure modes !!! It is very dangerous
innesss-ka
Larissa, i.e. 3 mm is critical, right? And the girls, here, are cooking like. And there are no native stainless steel.
Larssevsk
innesss-ka, this is, of course, voluntary. Once, after such an experiment, boiling soup gushed under my feet.Well not on your feet. Now, it's funny to remember after so many years. Although the bowl was NEC's and supposedly, according to their table, matched my then pressure cooker.
innesss-ka
Larissa,. Thanks for your opinion. Maybe someone else will write. And here's another moment. When you turn the lid (open) and pull it up, the pan does not cling to it and rises a little with it until it comes off? It scares me somehow. And if it is full?
Today I am getting to know a new assistant.
Larssevsk
Clings and rises. This is normal. Before lifting the lid a little, twist to the right - to the left to remove the grip with the pan.
innesss-ka
Larissa, thanks for the consultation.

I tormented the Internet with my curiosity! I really want a multicooker-pressure cooker. While I stopped at Redmond p380, in order to save time, I am more interested in the function of the pressure cooker. The cost in Vladivostok is not big - 6600. Can you please tell me if you need it at all?
Manna
Quote: polisabel
is it needed at all?
And who will tell you? Only you know the answer to this question. The pressure cooker, in contrast to the multicooker, does not save time especially strongly. And if you compare it with a stove, the savings are that you can do other things while the pot is cooking.

Well, my friend has no this function, so mine cooks much faster, and the meat in this one seemed softer to me. But I myself did not use another, so it's hard to say. I usually heat the water before pouring it into the bowl, then the pressure generally builds up quickly.
polisabel
As for water, in fact, in order to build up pressure faster, many people use hot water, and then the advantages of a pressure cooker are obvious. I just want to decide and take the most functional model, even m800s, with control via a phone, I really liked it, the reviews about it, of course, are only laudatory! What if you were asked to choose?
Larssevsk
Alyona, and if on the merits of your question, then 800s is not a pressure cooker, but an ordinary multicooker with an absolutely unnecessary function, which in fact you will never use

Girls, HELP! A little higher is how much? Will 16cm work?
How much is a stainless steel LL?
As for Land Life, I can say that I have been cooking in these bowls in the 380th model since July this year, everything is great. I especially like stainless steel. I bought it on the shopping site for 1000 rubles. But recently I bought a bowl from Redmond M-30 - everything seems to be the same, but the height of the bowl is 15.9 cm. And our pressure cooker WASN'T CLOSED! Literally a couple of millimeters interfered. I had to hand over this bowl back.
innesss-ka
What's the catch? 2 mm is a lot, and 3 is normal.
poglazowa2011, Thank you. My problem is that I can order the bowl not from LL (I have nowhere to buy it, well, if there were no options at all, I would certainly be looking for it), but just some kind of bowl 16 cm high (on our forum at Polina ). But your answers inspire hope that everything will work out!
