And I also have a question: the description indicates that Polaris PPC 0305AD has 14 automatic programs (9 with pressure, 5 without pressure), but from the instructions I realized that WITHOUT pressure you can cook only in 2 programs: baking and frying. So is it or I misunderstood something? Answer please)

But this is what worries me: my mother has an ordinary still Soviet pressure cooker on the stove, which has a very tightly fixed lid, a saucepan made of very thick aluminum ... and so I am confused by the semi-plastic appearance of electric pressure cookers ... I was not in the store, and I have not considered electric SV, so I am very worried about their operation ... What can you say?
Marina, good evening!
My mother also has such a pressure cooker, but I, in general, made of stainless steel, for 9 liters, I still use with pleasure.
Unfortunately, it is still difficult to talk about the duration of operation, this model is only 4 months old. But, judging by other SV (and MV) such devices have been working for years. Polaris has a metal case.

According to the instructions, yes, only "Frying" and "Pastry". But really - any, if there is no liquid to gain pressure. Knowing this, you can bake on the programs "Porridge", "Rice" and, I think, others too, reheat on the "Heating up", but without pressure.
Shelena
Marineah, does mom have a gas or electric stove?
The mother-in-law does not cook at all in the electric pressure cooker, she was a little persuaded to use the CF. Both have gas stoves. Moms can be very conservative. I hope yours is not like that.

Girls, dear ones, help me deal with my pressure cooker palaris 0305. I got it the other day. I wanted to cook borscht. threw in potatoes, frying with meat, angered with water, set the SOUP program, closed the lid, the pressure valve is closed. By the time of 20 minutes, they pass and it does not turn off :-( it is clear that the process is going on there. But there is no countdown. And there is no letter R. Maybe some kind of marriage
please tell me.

I always pour hot water and it cooks faster in all dishes where water is needed.
Chingu
Let me join

Please help me to master the unit. My child is allergic, most of the recipes are useless for us. Her favorite dish is rice with egg (in fact, scrambled eggs are superimposed on the rice). Can you do it somehow in Polaris?
Shelena
Chingu, Welcome!
I now have 2 possible cooking options.
1. Fry eggs on the "Fry" program, remove. Cook the rice and lay the eggs on top.
2. Place the rice in a saucepan, add water and salt. Put a silicone mold (molds) on top and cook an omelet there at the same time as cooking rice. But the omelet will turn out to be steam.
So far, these are the ideas.
Chingu
Shelena, you're just a genius! Steam is what you need. But how then is it better to set the modes? I cook rice on the standard "pilaf" mode, everything seems to work out well. And then I tried to cook rice soup - it turned out glue
Lesska
Shelena, thank you one more time and from me! I am mastering the unit. Additional question about eggs and rice. Rice will cook for about 20 minutes, but how long does it take for eggs? What is the best way to install the program?
Cranberry
Lesska, 12 minutes on "pilaf" is enough for rice.
Shelena
Chingu, do not change the mode. This time should be enough.
Mastering Polaris is not difficult at all! The recipes will work from any pressure cooker. If you are at a loss with any regime or you need to come up with some idea - write. Hivemind is power! (You can and in a personal. My son had a diathesis, sat on the strictest diet, and then treated the gastrointestinal tract, so there is experience here.

Lesska, Lena (Cranberry) answered you correctly - 20 minutes for rice is a lot. Try it for 12 minutes.
How are your meals? Do not burn? I am still haunted by these burns in your SV! : girl-th: Reasons, I think, maybe 2: the lid is not closed correctly, but only covered or there is something wrong with the device. Indeed, Polaris has such successful programs that food can only be burned on the "Zharka".
Cranberry-Lenahow is cooking in a pressure cooker? Like? Not disappointed in the model?
Chingu
Lesska, standard pilaf is enough for round rice, but for wild and black rice you need to add a little. and the wild one takes less water for me - somewhere for 1 glass
Chingu
Shelena, you seem to be my savior. The thing is, I don't know how to cook at all. I myself am used to eating rice with sauerkraut and all sorts of purchased things. So I'm quietly terrified of it all

Now she has an aggravation and only rice, buckwheat, meat, eggs, onions and cabbage were hung for us. She can't have any seasonings. I sit, puzzling over what to feed. Do you have any ideas for such a set?

And another question. I have two large scratches on the outer bowl (or as it is called, in which we put the bowl for cooking). When I received it, I didn't notice and then I didn't see it - there are scratches on the side of the screen. What is it fraught with and how to fix it?

Chingu, the typesetter is not that bad! I have several options for dishes from such products. In the coming days, I will try to expose separate recipes for everyone. And I will just recommend you what to remove or add.
The very first thing that comes to mind: at the bottom we cook rice / buckwheat, on top we put a cutlet or meat pudding in a mold. Omelet with meatballs. Soups.
The recipe for cabbage has already been displayed both fried and in the form of lazy cabbage rolls. Please see my recipes. There are duet dishes. At least you can use the idea and modes.

This will not affect cooking in any way, and neither will the durability of the appliance. So just don't think about those scratches (and don't look, if possible)! Let it be just a feature of your appliance!

Meatball omelet? I haven't even heard of that.
Make a regular omelet mass, pour it into a bowl (if the volume is 3-4 eggs) or into a silicone mold (foil), put meatballs on top (minced meat + rice + onion). Cook on the "Porridge" for 10-12 minutes with the valve closed or on the "Pastry" for 15-18 minutes with the valve open. Pour water under the mold, if using. Burnt due to incorrect valve position. Now I turn on the mode and after a couple of minutes I adjust the valve. Nothing burns. I cooked kharcho, carp on a potato pillow, wheat and corn porridge on the water, now I stewed the meat in sour cream, and in the morning for the child I cooked steamed turkey cutlets with mashed potatoes, zucchini, carrots, onions (2in1) for the child. The refrigerator is clogged.
Shelena
Lesska, bravo !!! What a fine fellow you are! So much in just a few days !!!
And this was prepared by a man who supposedly does not like to cook.
It's good that we figured out the valve. Now nothing will burn.
More goodies for you!
Lesska
Hey ... my husband said almost the same "it was prepared by a man who once did not know how to cook sausages." By the way, borscht and a casserole of cottage cheese and lavash also turned out.
Irishka CH
I can say that I have already made friends with the new Fields! On Sunday I cooked borscht - mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm how delicious it turned out !!! Today, everything is so "cool" - I cooked dinner in two cartoons, and then I did other things. In general, great !!!

Girls who also recently purchased this multicooker! Congratulations on your assistant!

Hearty. Simply. Delicious.

Chingu, it was our conversation with you about what to cook from a small set of products that prompted the idea to cook this casserole. Made a universal recipe for everyone.
You remove what the child is not allowed: mushrooms, seasoning, mayonnaise. If sour cream is also impossible, just beat the eggs with milk (or even 2-3 tbsp water). Instead of minced meat, you can take boiled meat, do not fry chicken or minced meat. There will be a different taste, of course, but I think you will like it.
Irishka CH
Lena! You are such an inventor !!! I constantly fumble with your recipes. I always envy (in an amicable way) people with a fantasy about cooking. I'm some kind of just a performer ... But when you get yummy according to ready-made recipes, I feel like a magician!

Lena, the question arose. The instructions say that you can fill in between the 1/5 and 4/5 marks. When you cook soup, don't you fill it higher either? Is it too much? I fill out a simple MV to the eyeballs, somehow it turns out that way.

Hurray hurray, my saucepan is at home, there were two to choose from .. now everything is fine, and the bolts inside were sitting exactly !!! and the paint inside is nowhere crumpled,
I also took the Land Life bowl with an elastic band .. but left it in the car .. now later my husband will bring it in, we'll measure it. will fit. the saucepan smelled a little of plastic, boiled water with vinegar for 5 minutes .. the smell disappeared .. and then I understood where it came from, from the foam out of the box .. apparently in close proximity to him everything smelled while driving. and the structure itself and the bowl do not smell - after steaming. still the price of Polaris Pts like 2400 for such beauty and functionality it's super ...
I have already cooked rice with a turkey, ... on the button of fig. 12 minutes at the end we are all at home, otherwise it was just awful to cook on gas in a month without Land Life, now I have two copy-friends - Land Life and Polaris.

How to bake carp, if in the oven? ... (without garnish or with potatoes)
By the way, I didn't have time to try carp on a potato pillow.
Shelena
Lesska, depends on the weight of the fish and whether it is whole or in pieces.
- If the carp is cut into pieces, then you can roll in flour, seasoning, fry a little on 2 sides, then splash water (sour cream, wine, etc.) 3-4 spoons (to set pressure) and set the Manual mode: 4-5 minutes at pressure - 2.
- If the fish is whole, then you can do almost the same: fry and finish cooking on the Manual for 10-12 minutes.
- Or put the fish with seasonings / additives in foil, close with an envelope, put in a bowl, pour 3-4 tbsp. l. water. Cook on Manual for 8 minutes.
- You can just fry on the "Fry" with the lid closed.
Potatoes, cut into large pieces, salted and sprinkled with seasoning, can be placed next to the fish (in all variants). Or you can push aromatic herbs into the belly of the carp or stuff it with buckwheat porridge with onions.
There are many options.

Lesska, to be honest, I never cooked carp in a multicooker or a pressure cooker. All of the above is pure speculation.
I love carp very much, but I bake it in the airfryer. It's easier and tastier for me.
Lesska
Shelena, thanks, I'll cook it tomorrow. Is it possible to cut a carp in half along the ridge, each half into a falga and put both in a bowl at once? which buttons to press to set the manual mode?

Place 2 fillet halves on top of each other, with some filling between them. Wrap the foil and cook on the Manual.

Do you have that? If not, then, indeed, it is urgent to change !!! Since the device without a ring will only fry, but will not work under pressure in any way.
If there is a ring, then adjust it to fit snugly. Close the lid correctly (see instructions). Move the valve to the "Pressure" position until it stops. Now choose a program and cook. There should be no steam from the valve! (Only if you are cooking with the "Steamer" program with water, but no food).
Good luck!

I cooked from grass carp.I cleaned, cut off the tail (to the belly), head and fins. I poured a liter of water, salt, lavrushka, allspice. Soup program, default settings. Very tasty and rich ... it was ...
Quote: Shelena

I practically cook as well.
You must first cook a delicious broth on the "Soup" (time 30-40 minutes). It is advisable to add something that will add stickiness to the broth: scales, righteous, heads. And flavoring additives - bay leaves, peppers, carrots, onions. Strain the finished broth and add gelatin.
For example, aspic from catfish freezes without any gelling additives. Carp and pike perch need gelatin.
Annatie
Thanks for the answer, there is an O-ring, and the second pressure valve is dangling like a sausage, I turned it to the closed position for the pilaf program, but the whole program was pouring steam into the ceiling for the entire 12 minutes ... so I should change it not working properly ?? ? Do I have to turn this pressure valve in a circle as it should be or is it ripped off ??? I'm so crooked that I can't even cook on the device .. you need to turn the valve and press it down to the bottom, does it seem to become fixed? I just turned it when I was cooking and did not press it down. I have it just discounted, I'm afraid it’s suddenly not working. it has a crack in the plastic near the latch of the latch,
Lesska
At first, I also had a jamb with a valve. Now I have got used to it. I turn on the program, wait for the steam to warm up and fall down, then with a knife I turn the valve to the desired position and it will stick. Steam no longer comes out. Try it.

You probably ordered the field in Yulmart?

All the girls and I are with you. I received it today. The day before yesterday I had to give up very much the bowl was scratched by the net. Now I've boiled a lemon. I can’t give a cover. I do not get something from the first time and into the grooves. Maybe I'll get used to it later. Before that 4 years there was a supra 4511 (I burned it with replaceable bowls) and now there is a redmond 4525. I have nothing to it. I cook but without joy. On Monday, I will be free to try baked goods, jellied meat and something new in a novelty. I don’t want to use a steamer, I don’t like a mesh along the bottom for salads, I’ll cook everything in a double boiler (I have it with a separate appliance). Girls where to start? I want my husband to say that I bought it for a reason.

Shelena
Lesska, I myself did not make from such fish, but I think you can, of course, try. You may need to add another spoonful of crackers to the dough (so that it is not liquid). It is possible to reduce the fat content of 1 tbsp. l mayonnaise replace with 1 tbsp. l. low-fat sour cream.
