I cooked spaghetti in a pressure cooker today. Liked. Cooked right. Not stuck together.

Boiled spaghetti.

1. Put the spaghetti in a saucepan, broken in half.
2. Poured cold water 2 cm above the pasta (finger thickness).
3. Added 1 tsp. salt, 1 tbsp. l. grows up. oils. Stirred.
4. Manual mode: pressure - 3, time - 3 minutes.
5. Heater turned off after the signal. The pressure was relieved forcibly.
6. Drain the water. She put the finished spaghetti on plates.

Flax, it's still more fun to cook pasta when the water does not need to be drained. Vaughn Tanyulya suggested cooking on a fry for 6 minutes. pour water flush with pasta and a bit of olives. oils. so I'll try :-)
I cooked pasta all the time in a slow cooker - I have a steamed rice program for 25 minutes, it was always great. never overcooked.

Hey. Has anyone had it so that in pressure cooker mode the pressure does not build up, but the heating element works? That is, I cooked the meat in French, set 3 pressure, stewing mode, for 30 minutes. During cooking, the valve did not close and steam escaped from the hole in the middle of the lid. The potatoes are cooked and the meat is tough. What could it be, the carriage broke? Until yesterday, the pressure was gaining great, but now nothing. After cooking, I pushed back the pressure relief valve, and there was nothing at all, not a drop of the usual hiss
Shelena
Ludmila, the reason that the pressure did not build up is the lack of liquid. You need at least 2-3 tbsp. l. liquids.
Don't worry, everything is in order in the device!

Tanyusha, just looked at Tatyana's recipe.
It's not about spaghetti, it's about horns. Spaghetti will just stick together if the water is poured evenly.
But feathers, horns, pasta (any pasta with a hole in the middle) will cook perfectly. I tried it. I will find records by mode - I'll post it.

Moskov79, Welcome!
Unfortunately, fermented baked milk can no longer be obtained from kefir. For fermented baked milk, you first need to prepare baked milk, and then ferment it.

I have never cooked corn porridge (do not eat). I watched how others are doing it to help you.
It is recommended to cook porridge in water in a ratio of 1 to 5!
Dairy - in almost the same ratio. Here's one of the recipes:

I think that your corn porridge did not work out due to the wrong ratio of cereal / water.

I will now brag. I was cooking whole piece of beef

it turned out very tasty. took a piece of 800 grams. smeared with a mixture of kefir, mustard, spices, salt. put it in a saucepan and in the refrigerator overnight. in the morning I stuffed it with garlic and into our well :-) for the rice / pilaf program for an hour. yummy :-)

second course. quick dinner
in a bowl, chopped onion, potatoes on top, chopped randomly and pre-coated with olive. oil. switched on the program Fig.
very tasty, slightly fried potatoes, with aromatic onions.
Shelena
Tanyusha, thanks for the recipes! Even just by description, everything is very tasty!
Tell me, please, did you set the pressure for potatoes?
fronya40
and the default is 2, so it remains.
Irishka CH
Done !!!! I bought it!
Girls are cute !!! SOS. I read the instructions, I seemed to understand everything, read Temko again fluently. So so. She poured water, cut a lemon, closed the lid, the valve to the "closed" position, the steamer mode, everything is default (5 minutes, pressure 2). And she sat and waited. Time has passed, there is no countdown, there is a whistle and steam from the safety valve ..... Turned off. I walked around ... After a while I tried again. Same. What am I doing wrong? Or should it be? But it doesn’t turn off, but steam is coming down! And how is this valve supposed to be closed?
Shelena
Irina, at last! Bought !!! Congratulations on your wonderful helper !!!
The most obvious problem is that the lid was closed the wrong way. Try again.
Another moment: if a lot of water has been poured, then the CB pressure will gain at least 15-20 minutes! A slight hiss will be heard. The countdown will appear only after the pressure is set: you will hear a characteristic "chpok", and literally in a couple of seconds a click, and "P" will be displayed.
Try setting it to Soup mode. Everything will work out!
Shelena

3. Hisses slowly. (Is that how it should hiss a little bit? Does the MV work "silently", but the SV hiss?) I'll wait now when it turns off.
Ira, hisses only until "P" appears. Then there is silence.

Silence? And my hiss. Rather hissed. Well, so quietly. Then it squeaked and Bb flashed. She waited, then carefully opened the valve. Kaaaaak will hiss !!!!!!!!! In general, the lemon soup was cooked wonderfully well! ... I won't do anything else today! Tomorrow I'll compose dinner!
Shelena
Ira, hissed, because there is a lot of liquid. And usually it cooks almost silently.
Do not open a full pot of liquid immediately. It will sizzle and splash. Let it stand for 5-10 minutes.
After cooking cereals, vegetables, meat, I often relieve the pressure myself. I cover the lid with a towel and turn the valve slightly with a spoon (fork).
I don't experiment with soups like that.

Valyusha, I'm glad that I liked the recipe.
I cook from pollock or hake. In the recipe, I mentioned that I take the simplest fish with white meat. Occasionally I do it from pink salmon.
Try it for your health! It is delicious.

Gentlemen! Help. I'm doing something wrong, but I don't understand what. How to get pastries out of the bowl correctly. I can't do anything, everything always falls apart, especially if I have to get it hot I want to eat ... What to do ??? Mine really liked the casseroles, albeit so flabby ...
Cranberry
Lilita, the casserole must be allowed to cool in the bowl, otherwise it will fall apart anyway.
To remove pastries, you can use a steam stand or a plate slightly smaller in diameter than the bowl - put it upside down on the pastry, hold it with your palm, gently turn the bowl over and lift it. If there is a cartoon, use the steam basket according to the same principle.
I hope I explained clearly

I keep experimenting with cartoons, I'm very happy! And about how to get pastries ... I highly recommend watching Tanyulia's video: a biscuit in a pressure cooker ... Although this is not about our pressure cooker, all the tips can be applied to any cartoon.
Lesska
Hello everybody! I join the ranks of users of this unit. I don't like to cook, but I must. That's why we bought this device. Today I have already cooked pilaf. I can't understand one thing: there is a drip tray in the kit, but I didn't find where to put it. I saw that such a question was asked on the forum, but I did not find out the answer for myself. Please, whoever has the opportunity, be kind, show in the photo where this thing is placed (for the gifted).

And can you tell me how to adapt the next recipe to our cartoon?
Preparation:

1) Gut the fish, remove the gills and rinse well. Place the fish in a saucepan, add one peeled onion and one peeled carrot, bay leaf and allspice. Pour in so much cold water that the fish is completely covered and add some more.

Bring the broth to a boil, remove the foam, reduce the heat. Close the pan with a lid and cook for 25-30 minutes. Strain the finished broth through a colander. Throw away vegetables and spices.

Carefully remove all fillets from the fish, carefully remove all bones.

Soak a slice of bread in warm milk.

Put fish fillets, squeezed soaked bread, raw egg into a blender, salt and pepper.

Turn everything into a homogeneous mass.

Roll small meatballs out of minced fish.

cut onion, carrots and potatoes into cubes.

2) Bring the strained fish broth to a boil, put the vegetables there and cook for 10 minutes. Season with salt to taste, add meatballs and cook for another 10 minutes. Sprinkle with herbs to taste, pepper and serve.
I did the first stage in the evening, and in the morning I want to quickly throw everything into the MV and go for a walk with the child. Actually for this cartoon and bought - she cooks while we walk. I have never used such machines before, I ask experienced users for help.
Shelena
Lesska, welcome to us! We are always glad to new polaris owners!
On prescription.
I would do this: put all the vegetables, spices and meatballs in the broth. I would set the "Soup" mode, pressure - 2, time - 3-4 minutes.
Once you plan to leave the house, the pressure cooker will switch to the "Warm up" mode, the soup will reach during this time, infuse and remain hot.

Ho ho! Thank you for the photo! Established where it should be.

And the onion was not cooked in the soup, although the time set was 20 minutes. Well, okay ... all the same, the meatballs did not work out for me (they fell apart as usual) and the soup below burnt, but bearable ... and the pilaf burnt yesterday. Maybe I will learn when to cook a string, but I will love this business clearly not in this life.

20 minutes for meatballs is a lot. Even in a saucepan on the stove, I cook meat for no more than 10 minutes, and you have fish ...

... the soup below is burnt, but tolerable ... and the pilaf was burnt yesterday.
Lesska, how's that? What recipe did they cook?
Was the cover installed correctly? Was the valve in the "Pressure" position?

I am sure that soon everything will work out for you. Believe me, most of the first self-cooked dishes did not work out. Just be patient!
I would also advise you to take ready-made recipes for pressure cookers and, strictly following them, cook.

(If you need help / advice - write in a personal.)

Lesska, I re-read your messages and saw that you often call this device a multicooker! Alas, this is a FAST cooker, which means that it cooks according to a different principle. Much faster than just MV. You can easily digest food in it!
In the eternal debate about which is better - a pressure cooker or a multicooker, I always adhere to the opinion that it is worth starting with a multicooker. Easier. Especially for those who are just starting to learn to cook.
But since the SKOROVarka has already been bought, you will have to master it. However, you definitely cannot do without ready-made recipes.
Lesska
Shelena, chose a pressure cooker, because in the long term going to work ... they write that everything in it cooks much faster. Namely, this model was taken after reading this forum thread. My husband suggested, and I read you and approved his proposal. Regarding the recipes: I haven't switched to the pressure cooker yet. Previously, after all, a child was prepared using a different technology. We will try to master.

In general, I planned to cook vegetable soup, for example, and put a steamer bowl on top and a catlet or something like that in it. But here such a container for steaming is not included in the kit.Is it possible to buy a steaming bowl? Does anyone do that?
Shelena
Lesska , since you have deliberately chosen SKOROVarka, then everything is not so scary.
Master it!

Alas, this pressure cooker does not have an upper double boiler, and it cannot be installed from other models - the lid will not close hermetically. In some CBs, there are upper ones, but they have a different structure of the pan: a groove along the perimeter. There is no such thing in ours.
I cook duet dishes. See if these options or ideas work for you.

Of course, I wouldn't put the cutlet on the soup. But for porridge, potatoes, vegetables - easily. And even without a steaming grid.

Hello everyone, let me in? I've been watching you for 4 days, because I ordered a cartoon and I'm waiting for it, tomorrow I'll go to pick it up. I liked the fact that you prescribe everything in detail, as soon as you read it, immediately ordered it, you were convinced !!!

Girls, dear ones, help me deal with my pressure cooker palaris 0305. I got it the other day. I wanted to cook borscht. threw in potatoes, frying with meat, angered with water, set the SOUP program, closed the lid, the pressure valve is closed. By the time of 20 minutes, they pass and it does not turn off :-( you can see that the process is going on there. But there is no countdown. And there is no letter R. Maybe some kind of marriage, please.
Shelena
Irina, this is not a marriage !!! It's just that an almost full pot of cold water boils for a long time, about 20-25 minutes. Therefore, there is still no countdown.
And welcome to visit us!
Lesska
I cooked meat according to this recipe https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=284112.0.html
She turned it on, and steam poured out of the lid. I waited 15 minutes and turned it off. Cap and valve are not well closed. By then, the oil had already melted.
As Shelena explained, Polaris has a peculiarity: even if the lid is poorly closed, "P" appears, but steam will fly out from all cracks !!! In other CBs, the device is simply turned off.
After turning off the program, set the rice mode again for 25 minutes.
A bit burnt. Then, in the sauce from the resulting meat, I stewed potatoes for 20 minutes. Served with vegetable salad. Probably, you should eat right away, otherwise it was rather dry.

Thanks to Shelena for her support, advice and guidance.

Something photos are not inserted. I'll figure it out later, load it.

Hello girls)) I am choosing a gift for my mom on the DR and I can’t decide, since neither the pressure cooker nor the multicooker itself has .... Help, please))) I was interested in Polaris PPC 0305AD. But this is what bothers me: my mother has an ordinary still Soviet pressure cooker on the stove, which has a very tightly fixed lid, a saucepan made of very thick aluminum ... and so I am confused by the semi-plastic look of electric pressure cookers ... I was not in the store, and I have not considered electric SV, therefore I am very worried about their operation ... What can you say?
