Yeah, thank you, dear for the words, friendly and responsive!
This is my first saucepan of this kind. Rane somehow cooked everything in a cauldron and in a brazier in a brick grill on the street.
But winter has happened - it's time to run away from the fresh air to warm penates, and you want to please your loved ones and dear ones with a tasty treat
So we will master the science of culinary under pressure, yes with your help
Markoffka_u
Today I bought one, decided to cook borscht. She put it on to cook and went to the kindergarten for the little one. I come, but steam is coming down from the security lock and the cooking time does not decrease, is it so necessary or am I faulty?
tysia
No, it doesn't have to be that way. Most likely, you have not a marriage, but simply the valve was not closed.

Markoffka_u, good evening!
With the purchase of you!
Immediately you shouldn't think about the bad. Most likely, this is not a marriage at all, but, as Natasha already said, they simply did not close the valve.
To make sure of this, cook something simple. Potatoes, for example. But control the preparation, observe. I hope everything will be as it should!
Good luck!
fronya40
and I cooked yesterday cabbage evening is something! I fed the cabbage, but it quickly became peroxidized. last night I came home from work, and I have broth from homemade chicken, I put it in a pressure cooker, a table. a spoonful of millet, one potato in small cubes, frying onions and carrots, dried mushrooms, washed cabbage. and for 20 minutes for soup. at the end I rubbed a small clove of garlic. I didn't even expect how delicious it turned out!
fronya40
oh, very tasty, try it! and just get cabbage! just put a spoonful of millet, no more. in general, I cook it with fresh chopped cabbage and tomato, and I cooked it with sauerkraut, very tasty :-)
Shelena
I will definitely try!
And I don't eat cabbage soup from fresh cabbage (since childhood I can't stand the smell, look and taste of boiled cabbage). Only sour. I love them even lean.

Tanya, do you like all the soups from the pressure cooker?
We have come to the conclusion that we will only cook broths and soups from legumes in SV. The rest have the wrong taste! There is a lack of saturation, as in multicooker soups.
No matter how the girls convinced me of the charm of soups from SV, I was not impressed. I do not like soups from either a pressure cooker or electric. Only in emergencies can you cook quickly.
We are capricious.
fronya40
I hardly cook soups, but borscht suits me perfectly, but in almost 90% of cases it is lean. I've only cooked in a pressure cooker for six months. but the other day I cooked it in a multi-sample-to-remember, and I liked it more from the well :-)
Cranberry
Good people and thoughts converge I, too, today cabbage, however, with fresh cabbage. There was a broth on the marrow, I made a frying right in the cartoon - onion, morkoffka, tomato juice, a spoonful of sour cream. I put washed millet, cabbage grated on a coarse grater, two whole potatoes. My mother-in-law taught me the following proportions: for cabbage (in two palms) - a tablespoon of millet. Poured boiling water, threw in lavrushka, salt, a little spices - and on the soup, pressure 3, 15 minutes. The steam went down - I caught the potatoes, mash them with a crush, and back into the soup. She pulled out Lavrushka. Unusual taste This was not possible on the stove.
Cranberry
Tanya, how do you cook borscht? Is the beet color preserved?
fronya40
Yes. cook Borscht in a pressure cooker- like this, on the stove I put onion, carrots and beets on frying-sautéing. I cut onions and beets into thin strips, first on a shredder, and then along the strip. in a bowl boiled beans (or broth), sautéed, potato strips, tomato.juice, half a liter, cabbage, bell pepper, salt, art. l sugar, fill it with water, close it for 20 minutes. I pour it into a saucepan, a clove of garlic and herbs, brought it to a boil, that's it, the borsch is ready. the color is red, not burgundy.
fronya40
Klyukovka, cabbage, I have the same as yours! only finely chop potatoes and cabbage into cubes in a food processor. I really love that!
Shelena
Girls, thanks for the details. I learned new recipes!
Kapustnyak, I suspect, is still a national Ukrainian dish. They don't cook like that in Belarus. Only meat (mushrooms), cabbage, potatoes, onions and carrots.
Cranberry
Fronechka, other
I will also try borsch pressure cooker. I read from the girls that he gets a pale color, but he still needs to conduct his own experiment
Even today I cooked meatballs in tomato juice - it turned out cute hedgehogs, the family liked it, grind it right away
Cranberry
Helen, I haven't heard of such a dish in Russia either, it turned out that it was very tasty, now I often cook
Shelena
Lena, I suppose, not only millet, but also crushed potatoes give a special taste to this soup. I'll definitely try. Thank you!
Cranberry
Lenochka, I can share my mother-in-law's "signature" recipe. It is slightly confusing, but it's worth a try, I have never eaten such delicious cabbage soup anywhere! When I have time, I cook my mother-in-law, when I have no time to play, I cook the classic one, which I described on the last page.

So, cabbage recipe "Moskalenski", for 3 liter pots. Boil a strong broth on marrow or homemade chicken. Squeeze sauerkraut, chop finely, mix with fresh, grated on a coarse grater, in equal proportions, to make about three grains (in two palms with a boat). Pour with broth and cook for 15 minutes. During this time, grate a couple of potatoes, as if on potato pancakes, mix with 3 tbsp., Ground on a coffee grinder. l. millet. Add this mixture, tablespoon at a time, to a saucepan to avoid lumps. Stir well! Fry finely chopped onions, finely grated carrots, tomato paste or juice, sour cream. Add frying, lavrushka and spices to the pan five minutes before the cabbage is ready, salt, turn off, remove the lavrushka. Serve with sour cream and garlic donuts.
Yummy

So I will cook soup in a slow cooker. Hasn't grown to a pressure cooker yet
tysia
Girls, about borscht ... At the end of cooking, for color, I always add a small beetroot, raw, grated on a fine grater, and let it brew for about 10 minutes. The color is very rich, burgundy. I have been doing this for a long time, and when I cooked on the stove, and in a cartoon, now in a pressure cooker ...
fronya40
Of course, Tusya, this is an option. I am just satisfied with the color and so, but it is not pale, the weight also depends on the juice, the juice is homemade, I cover even this not juice, but puree, interrupt with a blender, boil and close.
and Klyukovkin kapustnyak - I'm sure gorgeous!
Shelena
Girls, you're talking about soups.
And I brought you a pie. (To borscht)

Lavash pie with meat and mushrooms.

Now on Saturday, meat in the plan according to the ancient recipe and potatoes on gravy for a side dish Friends, after I told what this thing is, they salivate, they wait when I cook
fronya40
Ruslan, congratulations and I, after all, the one who came up with this magic pot needs to be erected! probably even the armless ones will cook a treat in it!
you lie down after work, you watch TV, and another little thing is being prepared there :-)

Hello girls today ordered such a beauty at 5OK 🔗 so I will soon be in your ranks. And before that I had a VICO cartoon pressure cooker. I really liked it and served me for 3 years, well, I think it will still serve, the lid cracked, but while I use it, I began to indulge.
Hanna
Valyushechka_ya, I think that everything will be fine with us! I haven't prepared anything yet, but I have already prepared the questions. You are waiting for your birthday, and I also decided to give myself a gift after. Oh, and we women are strange ... a gift to ourselves that feeds everyone

But these same gifts make life easier for us, and also gave us a dishwasher from the same site.

Hi girls! For the second week I have been "sitting in the bushes": watching your communication and drooling. And only today I was able to get my long-awaited assistant. When checking at the mail in a saucepan, I noticed two small scratches. Maybe I'll regret not returning it right away, but I couldn't let go of it. We've even made friends with her. I kept thinking how it is possible to cook complex dishes on it right away? First you need to familiarize yourself, get used to, decide on something serious. And she herself - just came to put water in it to boil on a double boiler program and went to look for a recipe for pilaf with chicken. So my beauty coped faster than me - she warmed up, boiled, switched off and released steam. In general, we have already eaten pilaf. I think what to cook tomorrow. I defrosted the meat, told my son to buy milk, and I also have beets and cabbage lying around there. Who will eat all this? I think that you have already guessed that I am delighted with the purchase!
Nadyushka89
Hello girls. I decided to buy a multicooker POLARIS PPC 0305AD, I typed reviews on the Internet and now I got to your forum, I read everything, what kind of smart girls you are. I could not not register. Now I am almost 100% sure that I will take this multicooker, otherwise I doubted everything. Thank you. One of these days we will go to the foxtrot to buy.

good luck! in fact, this is a wonderful company and the more so as the price is very attractive :-)
So she confused me. My mother-in-law says I need from 1000 UAH. take. Does this slow cooker also cook jellied meat? does it go like a pressure cooker?
fronya40
Well, that means jellied meat .... you cook yourself meat and you get jellied meat. I cook it now almost every week ..
Nadyushka89
: girl_red: I just look that there is Jellied meat on the multicooker, of course, and we often cook it so that we can overpay because of this function. But something she got into my head so
Shelena
Tanyushonochek, I congratulate you on your assistant! I am sure you will not be disappointed !!!

Hanna, Valyushechka_ya, welcome to our ranks!

Nadyushka89 , Hello! Polaris 0305 is a pressure cooker! Only "Roasting" and "Baking" work without pressure.
Of course, jellied meat in this SV will cook perfectly! Moreover, there is a special program "Meat on the bone / Jellied meat" for this! (Look at page 7 of answer # 127 for a list of modes.)

Atlanta
Hello everyone. I ordered myself such a slow cooker, and I cannot understand something, whether there is air on the panel under the words, or it is a protective film. And I’m afraid to rub the film with my finger or not, I don’t want to scratch it. tell me you had a protective film on your multi pencil case?
Moskov79
Yes I have a protective film
Hanna
Hello girls! Thank you all for the warm welcome!
Now I am also the owner of this miracle. The reception and inspection of the pressure cooker was successful, there were no flaws and the service did not upset me either.
I arrived home yesterday and let's be smart, what is it to do first
I decided to cook vegetables for a vinaigrette. I took a medium beetle, large carrots (I don’t know about you, we have giant carrots for sale this year)), 5 large potatoes. To make it more useful, I decided to steam it. So ... put a stand, folded vegetables, closed the lid, valve too, healthy food button, double boiler, 15 minutes, pressure 2 .... yes! * JOKINGLY * water-3 mst. Water poured cold, it was interesting how much will be heated before the start of the cooking countdown. After 4-5 minutes, steam began to flow from the security lock, it scared me a little ... then more intensely and at 7 minutes the lock snapped shut, everything calmed down and the cooking countdown began. after 15 minutes, the beauty gently squeaked 3 times, I decided to try a steam discharge, I will tell you, it's okay, you need to slowly turn a little and there will never be burns, the steam jet comes out sideways from the fingers. When the steam slept, the cap in the lock fell through and you can open it! Result: the potatoes and carrots are ready, but the beet was still a little hard. I pulled out the finished one and (I remember someone wrote that immediately after cooking, the programs did not turn on further until it cooled down) decided to boil the beet for another 5 minutes, the program turns on without problems. The total time for potatoes and carrots is 15 minutes, a beet is 20 minutes at a pressure of 2, I think that pressure-3 will be faster, can anyone do it, tell us
Do not throw the slippers at me that it took so long to paint everything, but maybe someone can help someone go through the first uncertain steps in mastering the miracle of the saucepan :) I am very pleased, very convenient and fast, I will continue to experiment. Buy, do not hesitate, you will not regret!

I also ordered yesterday at a nightly price, they promised to start next week ,,,, I look forward to it, I would like to get it for my birthday.
This is what girls do at night - they buy pressure cookers)))
True, he bought there himself and also at night)))

I made meat on the weekend according to a recipe from the last century (I spied on recipes for pressure cookers Brando). I took the kusman meat 1.2 kg and started it on butter with half a glass of water as instructed for half an hour. But the piece turned out to be big - I saw pink on the cut. Without hesitation, he threw it back and put it on for another 20 minutes. It turned out gorgeous! As it cooled down, it became possible to cut thinly into butriks.

Then I decided to take the "fraction 16" - barley))) The recipe is simple, again spied on - "perlotto". In 25 minutes, the barley, without soaking especially, (washed and while cutting the onion-garlic, then stood in the water) cooked perfectly!

Here one moment confused - "oatmeal with apples in milk" for some reason curdled milk on the porridge ... it is edible - but not that. I cooked simply - I threw in a chopped apple, poured 1ms with oatmeal and filled it with milk for 4ms. Then porridge 15 minutes. The pressure built up, nothing was spitting. But the milk curdled ...
Shelena
Ruslanthe milk may not have been quite fresh. Or the apple was the culprit in milk clotting. You can try to cook porridge without an apple, and add it when serving.
I always cook milk porridge in a mixture "water + milk" (1: 1). It turns out well.

Hanna, glad to see a kindred spirit in our thread! : friends: You feel like an experimenter. Try everything that is interesting and share your findings and results with us.
Shelena
I didn’t come empty-handed today.
Brought a new fantasy dish:

"Beef stew with pickled mushrooms". https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=311593.0

Why dilute milk? After all, this is not a slow cooker. in which the water is evaporated - here, after all, everything remains in the saucepan?
For an apple - I will test it without it, the probability is high that its acid and curdled milk ...
Well, for now, the point is - I wonder who uses which steamers? mk dear to me at once for some reason not ponra - metal on the coating = evil

Even in the multicooker, the water from the porridge does not evaporate. I dilute the milk, because it tastes better for us.

Under the "native" steamer, you can put a silicone mat or cloth. You can buy a silicone steamer with legs. I often use the bottom steamer from the Brand multicooker.

I read about amazing lavash here: https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=101976.0
And so I wanted to check.I got home at 9, kneaded the dough, first rise for half an hour, kneading, in a pressure cooker on heating for 5 minutes and proofing for half an hour.
Then the automatic baking program 30 minutes on one side and 30 minutes on the other - and voila!
It turned out delicious, but a little not as fluffy as that of people in that topic - I suspect yeast, I could pour a little - I just found the remnants))
This bread like lavash will now be one of the little highlights in the collection of my recipes :)
Markoffka_u
Hello girls I looked at you delicious recipes, I tried everything - excellent True, the biscuit from the recipe book, which was paired with a rubber one, turned out, probably the result of my amateur performance (I decided to add apples))))
Markoffka_u
My godfather gave me a homemade chicken, so I walk around it and think what to do with it Given your experience and excellent imagination, can anyone cook already in the cartoon?
ruslan_w
I suspect that the homemade one is the one that does not cook in 5 minutes?
I’ll soon let my family go to stew and jellied meat.
You will have to cook under maximum pressure for at least an hour. I just haven't decided yet, for a couple of al in a liquid in a stew then ...
there are 2 stages - I want to remove the bones first, and put them in jars as the second and ...
Shelena
Markoffka_u , good evening!
You can make a delicious soup from homemade chicken, aspic. You can stew it according to any recipe for a pressure cooker. Just set the time to 60 minutes. It should be delicious. Once I made a "long-playing" chicken in its own juice. The recipe was exhibited recently, but for a broiler house.

"Beef liver in sour cream sauce in a duet with potatoes"

It turned out quickly, tasty, convenient. I used a minimum of dishes. The time required for cooking is the same.
I recommend it to everyone who loves to cook everything in one device at once.

Markoffka_u, I have a different pressure cooker, but they all work about the same. Today I just stewed homemade chicken with potatoes, 25 minutes on the Bird program (you can choose your own one), the chicken was completely boiled, it was soft.

Hello. Today I have joined you. I got a multicooker polaris PPC0305AD. Now I have set to cook buckwheat according to the recipe, only increased the volume. Everything seems to be clear, but there are some nuances. The kit includes a plastic drip tray where to put it? They don't write anything for him in the instructions.

there is a place for him in the back - he is inserted into the grooves into it, under such a visor
