Experience in using dishwashers 2.5 years. The first was Bocsh SRV 55t13 45cm, now Bocsh SMV 65M30 60cm, so I have the opportunity to compare.
Regarding the size of the car: I used 45 cm when I lived alone, it was enough, now I got married, we live together with my husband and the 60 cm machine is not empty, it works every day, I will not say that it is jam-packed every day, but I can't even imagine , how would we cram this amount into 45cm. Conclusion: if possible, then only 60, everything else is a compromise ...in the end, you can run a short program or use a half load.
I chose both cars according to reviews, for some reason I did not consider anything except Bosch, but I do not exclude at all that other brands are good, there is a lot of information on the forum about this.
In terms of wash quality, both cars are good, both wash and wash perfectly.
What I like about the machine I am using now (especially in comparison with the first one):
- THE SIZE! In general, you don't think it will fit / will not fit, EVERYTHING fits! Easy!
- VarioFlex boxes - all holders are folded, a shelf for knives (it is indispensable for me), at the bottom there is a holder for tall objects (glasses, vases), 3 height levels (in the previous car there were 2)
- a full set of programs and a full set of additional functions (except for one Special drying - available only in models for 35 tons and above): 1/2 load, program accelerator, reinforcement of the lower basket, hygiene. I didn’t use only 1/2 of the load (if the dishes are not enough for a short time). I like the program accelerator very much, it reduces the time by almost 2 times, without losing quality, and also strengthening the bottom (old dishes are washed faster). You can combine additional options, for example, when washing the old and vigorous, I used a reinforced bottom and hygiene (this is 10 minutes of rinsing at 70g). But, all this makes the operation of the machine a little more noisy, since the water pressure increases, this must be borne in mind.
- the quality of the sink is excellent, everything is washed, of course it plays the role of a means. To wash something very old, I can recommend the following method: wash the item at the maximum program, remove it immediately after washing until it has cooled down and wash everything that has softened with your hands, then another cycle in the machine and the item is like new. This will need to be done once.
- for the construction of rigidity: we live in Moscow (North Tushino). So here we have a hardness of 13dH, which corresponds to setting 4 (factory), so it did not change anything. The hardness was determined by an aquarium test, accurate and professional, it is more accurate than strips. You need to ask for the gH test, this is a test of the total hardness of water, because there are others.
- the question of the smell from the car: I had no smell from either the first or the second car, at all !!! I can associate this with the following actions: my machine is almost always slightly ajar, especially after washing, even if I have already taken out the dishes, I dry the machine completely. Then once a week I clean the filters, once every 1.5 months I clean the finish. The smell appeared once, when I decided to use rinsing, at lunchtime I rinsed the dishes, and in the evening there was a smell (weak, but ....). For myself, I decided to let the dishes stand with dried dirt, BUT .... dry, it washes everything anyway.
- means: I used salt and Somat powder with the first machine, in principle everything was fine, but from time to time there were small joints: white streaks on the body, dots on cutlery. Now using TopHouse salt, it even looks very different from somat, the crystals are very large and translucent, not white .... And I'll tell you the difference !!!!! No streaks, stains or other disturbances! And this is no matter what means I use, but I use the following (Minel powder, tablets: LV - Finnish hypoallergenic (look in Stockman), Claro, Frosh). All good. The pills are mainly for the husband, so as not to poke around with the powder. LV - very gentle, but the frush darkened the aluminum bottom of the pan. And in general, I noticed that the means with soda spoil the dishes very much (Somat and Frosch). I have never used rinse aid in principle, the dishes are already dry and shiny.

2) if the PMM noise level according to the passport is 42dB and lower, then it will be quieter at night than the HP will beat with a bun, like rain outside the window.
