Cooking method

  • Dear culinary experts, most likely you have already cooked all possible soups in a slow cooker, but I am adding my recipe for beginners who are still afraid of this miracle of technology.
  • So:
  • 1. Rinse the peas and pour boiling water over for 1 hour.
  • 2. Cut the brisket into strips with a side of 0.5 cm. I had a piece with cartilages inside, I did not remove them, they become soft during the cooking process.
  • 3. Grate the carrots on a fine grater, finely chop the onion.
  • 4. Cut the potatoes into small cubes (or whatever you like).
  • While you are peeling, cutting and rubbing the vegetables, the peas will just infuse.
  • We throw everything into a cartoon. Fill with water, salt the ox. Throw a few black peppercorns into the water. I sprinkled a little Podravka seasoning on top - I love it.
  • We put on the "Soup" mode. I set it for 1 hour and 10 minutes, because I was afraid that the peas would not cook. But during this time he became almost puree. You can safely put on an hour or even 50 minutes.
  • P.S. I shamelessly poured water 1 cm more than it should be (above the figure, nothing escaped and did not spill out through the steam outlet, there was just a little scale on the lid. But this is most likely from boiling.
  • Voila! This soup is delicious! Aroma, color, taste - everything is incomparable!

All the ingredients (like you) have already been put together in the broth: bacon, peas, potatoes, spices, carrots ..

I cook in general for 20 minutes, but this is a mixture from the fair. I do not pre-soak anything. First, a piece of meat on beef for -30 minutes, then washed peas, frying or just vegetables, spices and potatoes, the meat is sorted back, plus lavrushka and herbs. 20 minutes and it's done, then it will infuse a little and great!
