Ingredients

Pork belly meat - a piece of 300 grams on the bone
Barley groats ½ cup 200 ml.
Dried porcini mushrooms handful
Fresh champignon mushrooms 5-6 pcs.
Bulb onions 1 PC.
Carrot 1 PC.
Potatoes 2 pcs.
Vegetable oil a little, for sautéing vegetables
Salt taste
Soup spices taste
Parsley, celery 1-2 tbsp. l. chopped

Cooking method

  • Soak dried mushrooms in boiling water, let stand for a while. Peel, wash and cut vegetables.
  • Pour a little oil into the pan, heat and add vegetables, sauté, add spices, a little salt.
  • Cut the mushrooms and soaked dry mushrooms into slices. Keep water from soaking, drain.
  • Add mushrooms to vegetables in a pan, simmer until the liquid evaporates.

As for me, I love boiled barley, but so that not entirely, it remains grains, so I would turn off the heating and leave it to cool under the lid - this time will be enough too

I cooked it strictly according to the recipe, since the pork turned out to be exactly 300g, so I took the rest of the products according to the required weight.
I want to say that the proportions of the products in the recipe are just perfect, if, for example, there were more mushrooms, the taste would be completely different. I have all sorts of mixed mushrooms that I managed to collect this non-mushroom summer, I did not add champignons.
