Girls and boys, good day! I bought this slow cooker and was pleased with the preparation of stuffed peppers and porridge. I decided to make a casserole in pie mode for 1 hour and nothing happened to me. in half an hour I opened the multicooker, and there it is cold and nothing happens. (((I did something wrong and did not turn it on or is it broken? help!

Ksenia, good afternoon! Check if the plug is firmly inserted into the outlet and the connection point with the multicooker, I once had it, "didn’t open" :) If after that nothing changes, exchange it for a new one.

Hedgehog, thanks for the advice. As a result, instead of the Pie mode, I cooked somehow on the Porridge / SOUP mode. will have to change the multicooker (
Hedgehog
How is it? Well nothing! Hope the new multicooker won't let you down! :

Hostesses, tell me, please, when you steam in a slow cooker, how much water do you pour? about half?
Hedgehog
I pour 1/3.

And I have no more questions))) the slow cooker is just super, I was convinced of this again! In the "Pie" mode, it works, I just set the time on it, but the mode turns out to be automatic, so it didn't work. Dealt with the amount of water in the "Steamer" mode. You just had to read the whole topic about our slow cooker, and not just watch the recipes !!! CONCLUSION: you need to be more careful, and the multicooker is just space !!!

Recipe for pies) Sour cream pie "It couldn't be easier." I found the recipe on some website, unfortunately I lost the link
Sour cream (20%) - 200 gr,
Chicken egg - 1 pc,
Sugar - 150 gr
Soda (baking powder 1 tsp) - 0.5 tsp,
Flour - 1 tbsp
Vanillin on the tip.
Preparation:
1. Mix sour cream, egg and sugar in a bowl, you don't even need to beat anything if you don't have time.
2. Mix flour with baking soda, sift and add to the sour cream mixture, mix thoroughly, let stand for 5 minutes.
3. Grease the mold with butter, pour out the dough. Bake on Pie mode. I baked for 50 minutes, then turned it over and another 10 minutes.

This was the original recipe, I made changes, namely:
- less sugar (since I spread sour cream on top and sprinkled with coconut),
- I had sour cream 15% (although I don't know whether it is important or not),
- and added a handful of raisins.

It turned out well, very tasty =)

The recipe for the most tender hedgehogs
Need to:
500 gr minced meat (I have pork + chicken),
70 gr of rice,
400 ml of water,
3 tbsp sour cream,
1 carrot,
1 onion.
Preparation:
Minced meat:
Cook the rice until half cooked, finely chop the onion, rub the carrots on a fine grater, mix everything with minced meat, add salt, your favorite spices.
Sauce:
Mix sour cream with water, add salt, spices, dill.
Put the formed hedgehogs in a slow cooker, fill with sauce and put on the "Porridge / soup" mode. They will be ready in half an hour, but I kept it a little more with the lid open so that the water evaporates.
They ate everything in five minutes.

I made Zebra Cupcake, but not according to Gugusik's recipe), but according to this:
2 mst sugar,
2.5 mst flour
100 gr butter (margarine),
3 eggs,
200 gr sour cream,
2 tbsp. l. cocoa,
Baking dough - 1 tsp.
Vanilla.
Preparation:
Grind butter and sugar, add eggs, beat, add sour cream, vanilla, flour and baking powder. Divide the dough into two parts, add cocoa to one. Grease the multi bowl with oil, pour in the dough alternately light / dark. Cooking on the "Pie" mode for an hour.
I am a lover of dried fruits and I add them everywhere, so I sprinkled the cake with chopped candied fruits on top (accordingly I added less sugar).

I do not advise taking more than kg of apples - as it was already written above on the forum: it boils very much, it can run away. The weight of peeled apples and lemon should not exceed 700-750 g.
More ingredients can be loaded! All ingenious is simple. We take and cover everything that we have laid for the jam (jam) adapted for steaming ... It works on the same principle as the insert in the pan for boiling milk (so that it does not run away). During the cooking process, the apples settle and boil down. As a result, in a 5-liter multicooker, a little more than 2 liters of ready-made jam is obtained (if not reported). If reported as it subsides, it is exactly 2.5 liters. I tried it personally on the "double boiler" mode. 4 visits for 30 minutes. Nothing escapes, almost nothing "flops" onto the removable aluminum disk (mostly condensation).

Sorry to quote myself, but .... On all forums they write that it is impossible to overload the multicooker IN NO EVENT !!!! otherwise everything will run away, get dirty, etc. BUT ... cook in 5 (4.5) liters. saucepan 0.5l. jam .... It's a sparrow cannon! It's a shame. For a week (one infusion per day) I close all kinds of jam for the whole winter. I urge everyone to use common sense and not recipes. Milk - yes, I agree completely. But jam and stewing .... in volumes close to one portion .... DISMISS! Plus, Supra 3510 users are already accustomed to inventiveness and creativity. Hi and respect to everyone who owns this model. I bought this model deliberately and do not regret the choice. The vaunted redmond (my first slow cooker) cannot be compared with Supra in its versatility and adaptability to any recipe. And whoever's hands grow from the wrong place and full automation will not help
Anna-konda
Hello! Yuri75, you are right, sometimes you have to cross the line drawn by others ... Thank you for your contribution to our treasury of experience and recipes! By the way, about new recipes, can you write in more detail and not only about jam?

About PLOV IN THE MULTIVARK and other "multitasking" dishes:

If you believe that it is possible to cook real pilaf in a multicooker, it could mean:
1. You have never eaten real Uzbek pilaf and have little idea of how it
preparing. "Catch" any Uzbek and tell him that you cooked pilaf in a slow cooker. He will laugh for a long time. Pilaf is cooked in a cauldron and over an open fire. Even a gas stove does not give such an effect, and you mean a multicooker. In the best case, you will get rice porridge with meat and vegetables.
2. Using a multicooker for cooking "multitasking" (fried some components, added the second, added cereals, filled with water) you DRAG THE HOLY ESSENCE multicooker !!! The whole point of its application lies in the fact that I laid everything in one go, pressed the button and, without performing any additional actions, after the final signal, I received the dish ready for use. This is the only way to save time, effort and nerves, which, as you know, cannot be restored. In addition, more than half of the cases of gulf, multicooker and food getting on the heating element occur during the addition (topping up) of the components, which is directly stated in the instructions (although it is empty, it is still worth reading). Everything else is tastier, easier and safer to cook on the stove or in the oven.
3. In your house, apart from a multicooker, there is no gas stove, no oven, or other cooking appliances. And it happens, and there is nothing wrong here

PLUSES of the multicooker SUPRA MCS-3510
PRICE, RELIABILITY, easy adaptation to any recipes and ingredients, indispensable for bachelors and those who are always on the move (delay + cooking + heating = hot lunch (dinner) after two days of absence). NOT GOING TO pay for incomprehensible and impossible functions that are written For advertising purposes ONLY and on which only those who, apart from scrambled eggs, have not cooked anything themselves, or are dying of hunger with a full refrigerator, are led. And not only because of natural misery. I'd better spend the saved money on a bottle of Armenian brandy.

One more thing: Manufacturers should not be criticized for the instructions, but praised! Having written such a dummy, the manufacturer spurred our "thinking" (according to Zadornov) and creative imagination !!!

5 KOPIES IN A PIGGY OF EXPERIENCE: NEVER do not leave ready-made meals in the turned off multicooker. If the multicooker does not heat, there is a natural process of moisture condensation on all electronics and it breaks down very quickly. As long as the heating element operates at least in the mode of maintaining the temperature, this does not happen and the multicooker will serve you for many years and will give you a lot of pleasure.

If you had the patience to read all this verbiage to the end, THANKS !!!
Anna-konda
I agree with the previous post. Very interesting, I will remember the advice, thanks.

but before work I need to quickly cook the thread and have breakfast
1. One glass of buckwheat, two glasses of water, salt, pepper, garlic, bay leaf, vegetable oil 2 tbsp. spoons (this is in the pan)
2. Cover with the steamer. We put chicken wings, zucchini and carrots in pieces into it.
3. Steamer mode for 30 min. + delay for a time to 30 min. expired half an hour before breakfast (will come in the mode of maintaining the temperature)
Buckwheat is impregnated with chicken and vegetable aroma.
4. Put buckwheat on a plate, wings on top, carrots and zucchini on the sides, sprinkle with herbs.
A full breakfast is ready. So what kind of control over the cooking process did you see there?

some simple dishes (products include potatoes, carrots, beets, rice, pasta, buckwheat, onions, zucchini, chicken, beef), and what modes should be used
Recently:
Vegetable stew (proportions and composition, as well as shape and size, arbitrary!). Zucchini, potatoes, tomato, cut, put in a multicooker saucepan. There are also frozen carrots and beans (I froze already grated carrots and chopped beans in the summer), any seasonings. Season with salt and stir. Put meat or bone on top (thawed). Pour in some water (zucchini gives extra moisture). Yes, it takes time to prepare food, but you can't do without it. Soup program for an hour and a half, because you must take into account that some vegetables are from the freezer. At the end, we eat what we have and enjoy!
If necessary, remember what changes to make next time to make it even tastier!

I never boiled eggs in a slow cooker ... I think you have room for creativity here. Share the result, please.

Hello everyone!
Recently, I also became the owner of this model of Suprochka and, thanks to your recipes, made friends with her. Thank you all very much! Special thanks Anna-konda for maintaining this topic! If not for your help, nothing would have happened to me, because, having read the instructions, I practically did not understand anything. And now behind us: rice, pasta, potatoes, vegetable stew, manti, chicken and potatoes, pea soup, Prague cake, hodgepodge. In general, I am very pleased with our Suprochka.

how to cook eggs?
I'm a beginner, but considering that the eggs have to boil for 15 minutes. (in my opinion), I suppose that you need to fill them with lukewarm water - if it is cold, it will take longer to boil, but you cannot pour boiling water over raw water - and set the Soup mode. This is my guess. On Pie, I believe the temperature is higher. It is possible that the eggs will cook faster, but this all needs to be checked. Good luck! And share, by the way, how the experiments ended.

I read that some housewives put ice in the same volume instead of water, and the milk does not turn sour until morning.
Good day! :) I started reading the topic all over again (in more detail, since I'm here). The idea with ice is AMAZING !!! I didn't guess it myself. But, I can again bring in my characteristic "5 kopecks"
Let's start! ABOUT DELAY MODE
Many cereals, before cooking, require a long soaking ... I observe that many, literally approach this ... Soak overnight, and then, in the morning, rinse the cereals and put them in a slow cooker .... WHY DO YOU HAVE A DELAY ?! !!
In the evening we rinse the cereal, fill it with water in the right proportion with the ingredients you need (oil, vegetables, spices), turn on the delay (here you go, soaking for hours AND EVERYTHING !!!! Ready porridge in the morning.
Often they are afraid that food will be lost .... Think for yourself, how vegetables can disappear in cold water overnight? And the same cereals or legumes? You soak them in open containers overnight? Nobody got poisoned? And, after peeling the potatoes so that they do not darken, do not leave them in the water? and then, I think, no one got to the infectious diseases department
Once again, I urge everyone not so much to strictly follow recipes, but to try to use common sense
As always, hello to the bachelor, ladies - curtsey

We take pears
Pears, in general, are considered quite an interesting product ..... Either a fruit, or a vegetable .... Opinions differ.
I try to make all the blanks as natural as possible. Take the leche .... Initially, this dish includes apples. (A dish of Bulgarian origin and, if anyone has tried a REAL treatment .... There is nothing tasty for a Russian person. It is not bad, just unusual) Apples give the dish an original sourness and thickness due to the natural pectin they contain ... But , most of the recipes available on the internet require added sugar. Personally, I successfully replace sugar with pears. Try it, you won't regret The main thing is not to tell the guests when they start to praise in the process of using, but to make a mysterious person and be silent! You need to talk to those who, over time, really decided to cook, and not joke

Good afternoon everyone! Maybe it will come in handy for someone: personally, it seems to me that the baked goods in it MUST be turned over, this is done easily and without problems, since nothing burns, does not stick. I cooked a cottage cheese casserole (according to the recipe where 600 g of cottage cheese is taken), PRAGUE cake and charlotte, in all cases I kept the pie on the mode for 40-45 minutes, then turned it over for another 15 and it came out perfectly. But, even taking into account the need to turn the pastries, this slow cooker is still just superb!)

Hello ladies! Hello to all forum bachelor! Something you have silence ...
Today, for an afternoon snack, I spoiled myself, my beloved, with dumplings with nightshade
Steamed in our slow cooker. Filling: nightshade, sugar 2/1 + a couple of apple slices (for sourness) Unleavened nightshade with sugar - it turns out too sweet. Seasoned with sour cream, sprinkled with sugar. I sculpted this way: (I do not know what it is called correctly) a square sheet of dough, the corners are pinched on top and diagonally. It's more convenient for me to sculpt and fillings fit more
Time spent - 25 minutes. (unleavened dough is always ready in the refrigerator. While the water was boiling, I rolled it out and put it on. 0.5 cups of nightshade I collected while I went to my neighbor for a smoke break)
