Hello everyone! Just yesterday my husband gave me such a slow cooker. There were questions - there is no "stewing" mode, after reading the forum, I realized that you can adapt) I also looked through the forum and saw what wonderful biscuits and cakes are obtained in a slow cooker. I found the "pie" mode in my instructions, but it is not on the display Girls, who has such a slow cooker, tell me, please, what to do? Go, hand it back? Or is the pie function buried deep in the menu? Although I don't understand where else to dig, there is no simple instruction
IRR
Vivian Give the photo of the rice cooker muzzle (closer), readable. It's easier to figure it out this way. And welcome to the forum
Vivian
IRR, Thank you

Vivian, don't give it anywhere! Cool casserole. Quenching can be done on the slow brewing prog. Pie baking is also on a soup or double boiler. Schazz Gypsy pull up, answer. She has a sanyo rice cooker, she also has no pastries, but she bakes excellent charlottes. Can you take a picture of the lid from the inside - the insert for washing is removed?

Nope, slow cooking judging by the instructions, this is cooking rice not in 20 minutes, but in 25

You will have to cook (simmer) slowly for soup or at heated

and bake pies on slow cooking, in short, where rice cooking.
Vivian
IRR, persuaded, we will not give up We will adapt Whether the insert is removed for washing - I don’t know, I haven’t figured it out yet)) Here is a photo:

M-dya ... the insert for washing does not seem to come off Maybe then the whole lid will be removed entirely (the lid design is very similar, as in our Comfort)
Vivian , you are already there, when you get used to it, pull the lid on all sides without fanaticism, ask your husband to take a look at the place where the lid is connected to the body itself. Maybe he will act, I would like to ... at least

Gypsy - Do you need frying-frying on the hottest program? Will it work on a double boiler?

Thank you very much, girls, for the advice. It seems that I found the stewing mode - "Normal" on the display) According to the instructions, it is in this mode that rice is cooked Now I am preparing soup "cabbage soup", I will definitely unsubscribe what happens)

Regular, quick and low dose is all about cooking rice. This is not extinguishing.

For example, on regular rice it will cook for 20 minutes, on a fast one for 15 minutes .. but a small dose there is a special cooking for a small dose of rice.
Gypsy
You have a big button *cooking / heating* That's what it is *rice cooking*, you can bake pies on it or try to fry, although *steamer* the temperature will pick up faster and will be constant.
Vivian
Gypsy, thanks again for the advice

I just tried the soup with my husband, it turned out very tasty I was preparing for 1.5 hours on the "soup" mode Tomorrow I will try to stew vegetables) or even make a roast I will unsubscribe about the results in this thread

Dear girls! Yesterday my husband and I purchased a Supra MCS-4501 multicooker. After reading the instructions, I still did not understand in what mode the baking was made. Can you please tell me, in the TOSHIBA multicooker I baked omelets and casseroles on porridge, but here what mode should I set?

Today I tried to bake charlotte. Has included the Slow Cooker program. Left. After 5 minutes, a ready signal (!) Was heard. I put it on the porridge, after 10 seconds it’s ready again. I tried all the modes, I didn’t want to use any oven. As a result, I put it on "Fast", as a result the charlotte was baked and baked. It turned out delicious. But I am plagued by doubts that in other modes, the MV should not turn off when baking In general, I was upset I called the store, they said take it, we will do an examination, called my lawyer, she said that the equipment can be given within 7 days without explaining the reason if it has not lost its presentation. That's so sad. Now I'll go to the store and talk about the return there. And most likely I will buy a Panasonic, so as not to suffer.

Have you tried baking on this program? Although I suspect that it will also turn off. For example, I bake 2-3 times. I don't have a special baking program, but I don't seem to suffer

This button is not a program, you must select a program before pressing it. I dreamed about a multicooker for a long time And I would like it to perform all the declared functions And if I have the opportunity to exchange for such a cartoon, then I will definitely do it

Your right. Since they cheated, wrote there is a baking program, but in fact it is not, then of course you can return it back.

Duc, she chose, only fast, and everything was baked well (I understand?)
Gypsy
It was not necessary to choose fast, a commonth (standard), that's when everything would be baked well, maybe not at once, but in 2 times, but it would be baked. I usually keep it longer so that the crust is fried, and it is baked in one mode, just pale on top.

Guys, it’s my fault that all the pots are turned off if the cooking mode is not respected, like, for self-defense purposes. There is no water-juice-sauce and off. (No matter what time is set) What kind of shutdown do you mean? Maybe I didn't catch up with something ...
Gypsy
the programs are automatic, of course they will be turned off if, for example, steam has ceased to soar intensively. This is a rice cooker I've been telling you this year.

Which mode? rice regimen? or is there a special baking program?
sazalexter
Gypsy Duc in any mode. There is also a mode "Oven" and "Roasting" for baking
Gypsy
Anyone? and rice you yourself exhibit or how, I do not understand? machine that is not at all?
Oven, baking there is understandable .. and stewing, and rice / cereal, how?
sazalexter
Gypsy
I also have manual ones in sanyo, there are automatic ones

We're not talking about that now. And about the fact that rice programs are usually automatic, and turn off themselves when they are supposed to, this is technically how this unit for cooking rice is arranged.
Vivian
You probably will scold me, but I handed it back to the store They promised to consider the application within 10 days. They did not want to accept, they began to refer to the law on the protection of PP.

I have plans to evict the gas stove from the kitchen. Therefore, I need a thing that will practically completely replace it. Yes, this cartoon is good, but I don’t want to save on myself - to waste nerves and time.

I wrote and somehow felt sad So I was happy with my assistant in the kitchen, eh ...
Gypsy
That is, you planned baking in a slow cooker / rice cooker? How is the oven completely canceled? no .. I can't do that .. without an oven life is not life.

No, of course I have an airfryer and a bread maker. I have never used the oven since the purchase of the airfryer, which is almost 5 months.
Gypsy
aa then it's not scary, you can move the stove

And we called the SUPRA hotline. There we were told that there were mistakes on the packaging and in the instructions and this model does not have a baking function. With this, we went to Auchan (where they took it) and they returned the money to us without further ado. The fraud is something like this: incorrect consultation by the manufacturer.
Gubki
You can tell me for sure whether it is possible to oven on this MV, otherwise some say it is possible, with others it keeps turning off ... I didn't understand anything?
Gypsy
Mine also turns off, but I'm baking .. I just press the button again and it continues to bake, program * rice *

Hello Supra MCS-4501 owners. My husband gave me this cartoon on NG (to be honest, I wanted a Visconte). They don’t look a gift horse in the mouth ... After reading the reviews, I realized that I definitely don’t have any baking programs, but to return it would be fatal to offend my husband ... I’ll have to get out of it ... As a result, in three weeks of yuzanya: curd casserole (with a bang !! !), soups, cereals, potatoes with meat (yum-yum), cake, pizza - everything is great !!! Thanks to my husband and the cartoon! Life became easier - yesterday I threw the child into a circle and in 1 hour and 40 minutes managed to go to the store, vacuum, throw everything for the soup in the cartoon, put the bread to bake and hit the hill with the child. They came, and the magic saucepan was waiting for us and greeted us with a fragrant soup !!! : bravo: Just great!

Girls, yesterday I bought a supra 4501, I didn’t set the time right away, I simply didn’t understand, in the evening I put buckwheat porridge on the timer at 6.50. in the morning, of course, nothing was cooked. The time was like 17.24. I suspect that the timer is going forward and not counting back? I turned it on again in the morning, the porridge cooked quickly, I had to turn it off from the outlet, then turned it on after an hour, the timer settings were preserved. poured some water, wait, shows 6.20. Help me figure it out, otherwise I'll hand it over to nafig, there is still a viscount in the store. Maybe they will change. What's better? I liked the saucepan at the supra !!!

Apple, there is no clock function on the cartoon and the time you set is cooking time. The timer indicates after how long your dish will be ready. For example: You want to cook buckwheat porridge, by default, the porridge cooking program takes 1.30. If you want porridge by 8 in the morning, then you set the timer for 9 o'clock at 23.00 (this time already includes 1.5 hours for the preparation of the porridge itself). I hope I clearly explained ... If, what - write

Dear forum users, this is the situation for me, the owner of the first day, as they say.
I quote the instruction:
"1. Plug in the device.
2. Press the HOUR and MINUTE buttons to set the current time. When setting the time, the numbers on the display will flash. To quickly change the hour or minute, press and hold the HOUR or MINUTE button. It is not possible to set the current time during cooking and keeping warm.
3. To confirm the set time, do not press any buttons for at least 5 seconds. The time will be confirmed when the numbers on the display stop flashing. "

In fact:
1. I turn on the device.
2. I press the HOURS and MINUTES buttons - no changes. I press the seconds for 3-4 buttons: the numbers start flashing. I rearrange the hours and minutes to the right time.
3. I don’t press any buttons until the numbers stop flashing. However, after the numbers stop flashing, the time returns to the original ...

This is how to interpret - my wrong actions or another (in addition to the presence of the "Pie" mode in the instructions) cant of instructions?

Have you tried to cook rice for rolls in this cartoon? I got it too hard and dry ...
ignat1972spb
Rice was cooked differently and, depending on the variety, it turns out different. For a roll, you probably need to try another mode - like porridge and do not take polished rice so it turns out to be the driest
Lana_56
Hello everyone, welcome to the ranks of the owners of Supra MCS-4501. Today I just bought it, I already used the advice on setting the time. I read the instructions, revealed several inconsistencies, in particular, the question arose: "Find out where his button is, Urri!" that is, where is "OFF"?
