Girls, I've been a happy owner of 2501 for 3 weeks now, I'm just delighted with it. It is, of course, n cheap, but it is such a relief for me !!! When the ingredients fell asleep in the evening, and fresh bread in the morning !!! My husband loves rye, so I chose 2501.
Lucha
Evans, congratulations on such a wonderful helper. It's so cool to wake up to the smell of fresh bread.

Good evening everyone! Three hours ago I became the owner of Panasonic 2501. Tell me where to start to master this technique, because before that I was not familiar with the bread maker at all. : o What kind of bread to bake for a beginner, so that later it will not be excruciatingly painful ...

Start with the simplest bread from the instructions. It is better to take the ingredients in size L (500g flour) Just do not start with the fast mode, otherwise you may just be disappointed .... Do you have a scale?

Congratulations !!! You read the instructions, is everything clear? And in order not to be excruciatingly painful, start with the simplest, white wheat.
sova_35
There are no scales, but I will get it, because I realized that it is very important. I study the instructions. Tomorrow I will buy the necessary ingredients, since, to be honest, I was not ready for such an acquisition. I hope that tomorrow I will please myself and my loved ones with delicious bread! Thanks for the kind parting words!
sova_35
Girls, tell me what else is necessary (except for weights) you need to buy? Do you need silicone spatulas, gloves, grates, etc.?
Ikra
The grate is definitely needed, the bread should be cooled. But you can adapt, if any, a microwave oven grate, which is for grilling.

Silicone spatula, because during kneading, the dough can stick to the walls, pull out the bucket mittens, cool the bread grate, and the rest as you familiarize yourself
sova_35
Thanks everyone! I hope to master the new acquisition over time! I'll start tomorrow! The truth is still somehow scary today ...

So this is YOU off topic! You have already entered the ranks, and away from doubts!

To begin with, we go to the profile topic on Panasonic stoves HERE (click) and immediately look at the first message, read "Baking Guide ..." and "The Rule of the Kolobok". We bake the simplest wheat flour bread (B / s or 1 sec) on the main program (not fast !!!). And, like Alice down the rabbit hole, we fall into the amazing bakery area.

I spoiled on various sites and forums that the Panasonic x / p is very hot, or even a plastic drive or something like that melts. did it?

Nonsense of a gray mare So I can write only people who have never opened the casing of Panasonic! Blade assembly drive unit, carbolite plastic. Drive pulley, metal-composite. Engine pulley, metal. Drive belt, reinforced with high temperature plastic. Frame HP stamped metal. Self-made engine.

And 2500 without a dispenser for raisins and other ingredients at all. And the 2501 has the Rye mode.
Lagri, it's great that 2500 without this bullshit this gadget dispenser. But this is a matter of taste, not necessity. You write: "A 2501 is the Rye mode." And I answered you: "And I also bungled Borodinsky in my 2500." After all, you saw my photo report. I remind you: https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=169416.720... Yes I know, Wit, now, after a lapse of time, that "everything is possible" and with a small set of programs. But sometimes a person wants a lot of programs, and that "put everything in the x / stove and forget." That you are comparing yourself, already with experience, with those who choose and ask for advice.
Wit
But, as I understand it, I can also give a person advice. And so you and I give a person advice for a couple and the person is stunned: to take with a dispenser or not. But it normal. We're not putting pressure on him. Peace, huh?

Greetings to all!
This question could be asked in a sub-forum for any manufacturer, but since my choice fell on Panasonic, then right here)
In the near future I am buying a bread maker, experienced users, tell me which case is more convenient in life - white or stainless steel? I have a stainless steel multicooker, I use it every day, it is on my table, though next to the stove, and I cook with the lid open too. Well, I tell you, she's grimy all the time! Does a stainless steel bread machine have such a problem? After all, it works closed, in theory, nothing should be sprinkled from it. All the time on the table, I probably won't have it, there is no place.
Rita
Any surface next to the stove will get dirty. And if he doesn't stand next to the stove, why get dirty?
SoNya 68
My previous HP was made of stainless steel - I had both a refrigerator and a stove like that. Well, I'll tell you, tin! The refrigerator is neat by nature, I constantly clean the stove, and the stove is there too !!!
With such pleasure I bought a white one when the previous one failed (simple from inexpensive)
Rubbed with a rag, it is clean, no need to rub - lovely!
LiudmiLka
I have stainless steel, it stands far from everything, but the surface requires constant maintenance. If you do not pursue beauty, then it is better to choose white.
Lagri
I have 2502, the surface is stainless steel (as they say), it does not stand next to the stove. Clean all the time, I wipe it only after baking. Courting is easy.
albina * 2013
tell me, good people! I'm going to buy a bread maker, according to reviews like Panasonic is in the lead, now I think-2501 or 2502?!? who used - unsubscribe, pliz
Lagri
Everyone will compliment their own, naturally, because they choose what they like. The difference between these bread makers is that the 2502 has a stainless steel surface and also has a yeast dispenser (dry) in it. And the rest is all the same. The yeast dispenser opens with a sound, which some people don't like. And it suits me because sometimes I do not want to interfere with the process, most likely there is no time, then I put everything together and forgot, she will do everything herself, and the yeast dispenser will open when needed. Although in 2501 you can put yeast under the flour and also everything will be kneaded and baked. In my opinion, these are the 2 best x / stoves, since I have experience using several x / stoves. A very large selection of programs. So it's up to you to decide. Happy choice!
Wit
I support Lagri... It is also worth paying attention to such a moment: where the bread maker will stand. If it is close to the stove, the surface of the case will require constant maintenance, like all pieces of iron. Well, and quite a trifle: for a yeast dispenser (sorry, Lagri! I love you anyway) to you, dear albina * 2013 , you will have to overpay an extra thousand, or even two. Happy shopping!
Rina
I want to say that WITHOUT a yeast dispenser, 99% of bakers live and "suffer".

That is, the question of choosing a more expensive model is most often a question of design (for some, the presence of a metal-like case is very critical). Well, the sounds from the kitchen will interfere or not - the yeast dispenser clicks every time you put on the bread baking (it clicks loudly enough and more than once).
Giraffe
And I do not suffer without a dispenser at all and did not even want it initially. And it's not about the money, the discount was good, I just bake with raw yeast
Creamy
And I specially chose 2500, so that without a dispenser (before going to the store I read Rinu). And I do not regret it at all.
Rina
uuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh ... I'm all the same for the additive dispenser I use it once a year though. It works only when the programs are "with raisins", and yeast - on ALL bread programs.
Wit
I also specially chose without!
Rina
then argue ... if you like.
Otherwise we will confuse the person.
Rina
you just need to clearly separate the two options - the additive dispenser (raisins, etc.) and the yeast dispenser.

The first works only on certain programs, its advantage is that you do not need to watch the sound signal of the stove in order to inject the same raisins.
The second (yeast) works ALWAYS on programs where yeast is added (that is, on all, except for jam, compote and dumplings).

Albina chooses between models 2501 (additive dispenser) and 2502 (additive dispenser and yeast dispenser).

If you choose among the bread makers, you need to choose Panasonic. If finances allow, it is better to have options that you do not use (but they do not interfere), than later regret that these options are not available - the rye program and a dispenser for additives.

The yeast dispenser is not a particularly useful option, and it ALWAYS works. For example, in my conditions, I will hear these clicks at night (the kitchen window opens onto the balcony, I sleep next to the balcony, in the summer the doors to the balcony and the kitchen window are open)
Wit
I think that now Albina has no more questions to choose from.

Well, even if you do not consider that you are baking with pressed yeast. I tried to bake them on them - I don't like this kind of bread, well, it doesn't taste good to me. And my husband didn't like him either. So I returned to the saf-moment with yeast and bake bread only with it, having previously tried all the pressed yeast available for sale in our city.
Lagri
And I still don’t regret that I bought 2502. For me, it’s the best. And I use a yeast dispenser, and I'm used to the sound: it doesn't bother me. And she is beautiful.

even if I baked on dry ones - I just know the properties of flour, so it's not a problem to place the yeast, flour and liquid so that the yeast does not finish with water ahead of time. This was discussed more than once or twice - you need to have very crooked hands to pour liquid on wheat flour so that this liquid gets to the yeast, even if the program is postponed.

I repeat, 99% of bread maker users do without a yeast dispenser. No yeast required for wheat bread not at the beginning kneading. Such a need may be for some exotic types of flour for us (originally Panasonic was developed for the Japanese market), but the programs in our Panasonic are for wheat and rye flour! In any case, I have so far met only one opinion that really justifies the desirability of having a dispenser - in the case when the sourdough dough is first put, and the rest of the products and additional the yeast will interfere with the dough when you start the delay program.

So yeast. disp. - cool gadget, but not a decisive factor for purchases. Most 2502 users would just as well use a reliable, beautiful stainless steel stove if it had yeast in it. disp. did not have. But the same yeast. disp. could be the reason vs purchases of model 2502 - if the stove is located somewhere near the living room and the owners have a light sleep, they are sensitive to sharp sounds (after all, we very often put bread on baking at night).
Stafa
These are all far-fetched arguments - about a light sleep and all sorts of other things. More annoying and does not let you sleep the smell of bread, from which you can not hide, especially onion bread takkk smells that the dog starts waking me up 10 minutes before the end of the program, the squeak of the stove at the end of the program and the understanding that you have to get up and take out the bread, otherwise the crust will be rubber .. but you want to sleep so much. But the sound of the yeast dispenser never woke up.

That's for sure!
Rina
From a technical point of view, it usually takes at least two hours between the clicks of the dispensers and the spreading smell of bread (from the beginning of kneading to the beginning of baking). I quite often put the bread so that it is baked by 6-6: 30 in the morning - while we are going to breakfast, the bread just successfully reaches the condition (and the smell works like a mild correct alarm), in which case the dispenser would work at three in the morning ... And through the balcony through a dream I hear even a very quiet operation of the dispensers in the dishwasher. I sleep very lightly. And for me, sound and smell are stimuli that are different in their effect.

that's why I say that EVERYTHING IS INDIVIDUAL. I do not bake such strong-smelling types of bread (with onions, herbs) - there is enough pure wheat or wheat-rye (well, very sometimes a bun). I definitely wake up from wheat-rye. But I rarely put it on at night.
Lagri
Quote: Rina

Rinochka, but who would argue? And I rarely put it at night, so there are no problems. Moreover, I have Moulinex with a baguette holder, so there is always a choice of what to use for the oven.
Stafa
And I only cook at night, I have a two-tariff meter and I do all energy-intensive processes at night.
SoNya 68
And I don't have dispensers at all, they don't wake up, they don't interfere, and the smell of bread is felt at the time of getting up, so dear and cozy, how can it be annoying ???
And the stove is the most basic-2500. And no problems with rye))))) I have never had such a program on a regular HP before, but rye bread was all different
Alex 26
Why have we settled on the 2502 model? I’m choosing between the Panasonic 2502 and the Bork 500, I don’t know where to stop.
