Also, they do not supply to other countries.

Val Actually, I live in Russia and I talked about supplies to us and not to Ukraine
Here is the content of the Russian-language site 🔗
Here in Italy 🔗
Rina
sazalexter, just usually deliveries to Ukraine and Russia for many brands go in parallel. Almost all equipment that we sell "white" has Russian certification. It is much more likely that some kind of equipment, which is on the Russian market, will not go to Ukraine.
sazalexter
Rina72 The same situation is with Delongy 125 in Russia they have not been there for a long time and in Ukraine "in bulk"
Rina
We can argue, reason, but we have to live in specific conditions. Every country does not have something that another eats. Again, I think that in Russia in different regions and the assortment is different. Ken 450, for example, in Moscow online stores is not declared in a single version
🔗
And Kenwood's information update on the official websites seems to be almost a chronic problem.
(besides, supplies may be different, multi-panasonic in Russia is easier and cheaper to buy than in Ukraine, with Kenwood everything can be the other way around, just a large batch went here).
sazalexter
Rina72 Internet shops, it is understandable, do not always sell legal goods. But in large stores of electrical household appliances in Kenwood 450 there are NO on sale !!!!! Stores are afraid to take "gray" goods for sale. Once again I emphasize this applies only to Russia
Rina
Then you just need to contact directly the same Kenwood office and ask - these CPs are legal or "gray" (the presence or absence of information on the "official" site is not always a sufficient indicator). I did this when I was choosing the microwave, and I came across different lettering after the model number. It turned out that, in fact, some of the proposals are "gray". When I ordered a stove in an online store, I specifically specified the availability of the required encoding (by the way, this model appeared from large stores after five months).
Val
sazalexter, You write a lot and probably forget what exactly My answer was to your statement Also, they do not supply to other countries., no more . And I "got" into the subject of Kenwood 450 with my Delongy125, because I almost bought Kenwood myself and "shoveled" a lot of information about it before buying. The possible "legality" of individual Kenwood 450 parties in our country is evidenced by the fact that already included with the x / stove was an instruction and a book of recipes in "Russian" that was not self-published (at least in the sample that I almost bought).
Bri
I bought my oven in a fairly reliable and decent store in our city (not Eldorado and Beringov), there really wasn’t on the window (but there was only 254 Panasonic). I asked the seller, he looked at the computer and said in 10 days it will be brought even earlier. Is it possible to sell gray equipment so freely in our country? But after all, the happy owners of these stoves are all pleased, and as far as I read here on the site, they even rent and repair them for repairs, then what to bother?

By the way, I haven't seen Delongy in our city at all ..

Ladies and Gentlemen!
Good day!
I apologize in advance for the unusual request, but please take it seriously and, if possible, respond. The bottom line is this:
In the programming mode of the BM450 oven, I set the time for different stages of kneading and holding the dough, and set the baking time to zero. For example like this:

1) Temperature equalization - 0 min.
Mix 1 = 5 min.
Mix 2 = 25 min.
Rise 1 = 30 min.
Rise 2 = 1:00 hour.
Rise 3 = 1:00 hour.
Baking = 0 min.
Heating = 0 min.

The arithmetic sum is 3:00 hours. And the display shows 3:10 hours. The reason is that the baked goods will still turn on for 10 minutes. Tested by sad experience.
Trying other options:
2) set the baking time 5 minutes -> on display 3:15 hours
3) set the baking time 10 minutes -> on display 3:10 hours (!)
4) set the baking time 15 minutes -> on display 3:15 hours (!)

That is, if the baking time is less than ten minutes, then 10 minutes are added to the entered value, and if more, then everything is correct.

Do not consider it a work, check how it works for you and report the results. For the purity of the experiment, it is better to take my settings, and the answer is easier to write - just the number of the option and the time on the display. There is no need to start the program for execution, the resulting time will be shown on the display after the stove beeps several times, confirming the end of the program recording. All you need is to push the programming buttons for a few minutes. For my stove, this is a matter of life or service (or even ...).

Thank you in advance for your help!
Unfortunately, I also have only a sad experience of such experiments, I wrote about this before

In Ukraine Ken. 450 are sold a lot and a lot of service centers. until I heard that there were complaints about these stoves

In Kiev there is even a Kenwood brand store, you can enter the website of this store and ask them for your stove

Most likely you set the weight of the baked loaf incorrectly. Let me remind you that after switching on, the following default parameters are always set in the baking programs: the weight of the baked goods is 1 kg with a medium crust. Changing any of these parameters will change the baking time and therefore the total program time. Not kneading, but baking!
For example: In program # 1 (white bread), the baking time for 1 kg bread with a medium crust is 55 minutes, a medium crust and 750 grams - 50 minutes, a medium crust and 500 grams - 45 minutes. Dark crust and 1 kg - 70 minutes, dark crust and 750 grams - 65 minutes, dark crust and 500 grams - 60 minutes. Changing either of these two parameters will change the baking time in either direction by 5 minutes. Accordingly, the result will be different.
Take your time to the service center, just do not forget to set a lower weight of the loaf next time and draw conclusions.

Good luck!
Alexander.

And from me

I don't get dirty at all, I use the stove very intensively, especially on weekends, now post-so even more intensively. I knead any dough in general, for pies, cookies, crackers - sometimes in turn, then I bake in the oven. If it were not for the stove, then there would not be enough strength. And I expose such a program (batch) as I need. Therefore, it was Kenwood that I bought ...

Hello to all owners of the Kenwood BM450 bread machine, I have joined your ranks. The stove is very nra. I bribed a round bucket to her.

Where did you buy it? I got through to kenwood today, they promised to arrive in 2 weeks ... And so that I would not see it on free sale ...
fox @
Hello dear!
4 months ago I bought the 450th Kenwood, I think we can already draw conclusions.
I am very pleased that I was not mistaken with the choice because I chose for a long time. By the way, Kenwood was not among the selected models at all. Just the final stage was a trip to the store for a "live" inspection and Kenwood was bought.
I never spoiled the bread.
The only time: somehow, through negligence, I hooked the touch panel and knocked down the entire cycle, but it's good that the kneading has just begun, and this problem did not affect the quality of the bread.
The bread bakes excellently: tasty, golden brown in medium mode (I don’t put any foil under the window glass), by the way, I also tried a white oven with a dark crust - it’s not good - it’s too thick and hard. We prefer classic bread without various additives, so I rarely use the dispensary. With the exception of raisins in white bread (we love bread in raisins, not raisins in bread !!!). Plus, I almost always bake during the day, so I like to fill in the ingredients by hand, anyway, from time to time, my little girl "kolobok" checks it (she even shows it to her hares, foxes and other kolobok lovers).
In short. There are many pluses.
Minuses:
- noisy, especially the dispensary (but I have nothing to compare with);
- the dispensary works a little early, often grinds raisins, cheese, etc., in short, I took it off altogether;
- very sensitive touch panel, you can inadvertently turn off and spoil the bread (but practical to clean);
- I can't remember anything else, and thank God.
I can't say anything about reliability. If it works, we'll see.
By the way, there were no problems ordering it on the Internet. I took it for 1300 UAH. (the store wanted about 1800 UAH.) This is in Kiev. Yesterday I ordered a round bucket in the Kenwood brand store (I forgot how it is called correctly there) for ~ 200 UAH. I'm waiting.
And further. Already four of my friends, having gorged on Kenwood "koloboks", have bought this particular model! Isn't it advertising ?!
But it seems to me that you can teach any stove to bake deliciously, the main thing is practice and a little theory.
Successful choice to all and delicious, delicious bread.

Here you are wrong. The oven cannot be taught to bake bread, it will teach you a lot more, even about what you have no idea about ... believe me)

Good time everyone!
We are happy with the stove, but there were questions - 1. what is preheating (used, for example, in pr. 3 and 4), and why is it needed - my heating element remains cold, but the temperature in the room is not lower than 23-25 C , so it should be or immediately to the service?
2. the description says that there is a convector in the stove - and under what conditions does it turn on? - I have never noticed his work.
3. when adding "panifarin" the crust becomes darker, or it seems to me?
Advance sapsibo!
S.K.
Bri
In theory, the heating should be turned on, I do not use these programs, it is needed to heat the liquid so that the yeast starts working immediately (in whole grain baked goods, as I understand it, because it takes longer)

Convector - drives air during baking to evenly warm up and bake, if you listen to it, it turns on periodically.
S.K.
but when baking, everything is quiet, only the heating element crackles occasionally ...
nd, probably, nevertheless, in the service.

Hello dear bakers!
I became the owner of a bread machine 4 days ago. I could not get enough of it ... Everything turned out great ... I have already tried 6 recipes ... no complaints. Bread is a fairy tale. And suddenly - she just turned off, and did not turn on again ... I was terribly upset. Just got a taste ... In general, my bread machine went to the service center ... I'm waiting for an answer. Out of despair, I climbed the forum and read about several breakdowns of this model ... Is it an accident, or do other models also have breakdowns? Am I particularly unlucky? And if they find a factory defect, is it worth re-ordering the same model? Advise !!!
And also - unbleached white flour (according to the recipe book) - what's this? I use a regular bakery. And what about dark flour? What are you using?
Danik51
Do not tune all the stoves break, the stove is very good but you just had no luck with the stove after the service everything will be fine.

1) We bought a Kenwood BM 450 bread maker, did not quite understand some of the symbols on the display: why do we need the numbers "1 2 3"? On program 1 they are not lit. Is this normal or a problem?
2) On a medium frying crust, the top wrinkles when cooling, how to avoid?
3) Is there a recipe for Borodino bread specifically for this model?

3) Is there a recipe for Borodino bread specifically for this model?

There is such a recipe here, read the topic above.
It is baked in 3 hours with yeast or sourdough.
The stove will need to be programmed.

The program for baking Borodino bread with yeast in Kenwood BM450 looks like this:
1. Temperature equalization - 0 min. (0 - 60 min.).
2. Mix 1 = 0 min. (0 - 10 min.).
3. Kneading 2 = 15 min. (0 - 30 min.). We help with a spatula.
4. Ascent 1 = 60 min. (20 - 60 min.).
5. Mix 3 = 15 sec. Will not turn on.
(Kneading 3 is always 15 seconds and is enabled if the Rise 2 time is set greater than 0 minutes.)
6. Ascent 2 = 0 min. (0 - 2 hours).
7. Kneading 4 = 15 sec. Will not turn on.
(Kneading 4 is always 15 seconds and is enabled if the Ascent 3 time is set greater than 0 minutes.)
8. Ascent 3 = 0 min. (0 - 2 hours).
9. Baking = 1 h. 30 min. (0 - 1 h. 30 min.).
10. Heating = 0 min. (0 - 60 min.).

For sourdough baking, increase the rising time by 1 - 3 hours, depending on the strength of your sourdough.

If any rye-wheat or rye bread was baked before, then everything is the same.
If you still have difficulties, ask, we will help.
How easy it is to bake rye, you can read in my topic.

Dear bakers

Tell me where you have the stirrer. In bread or in a bucket? And if in a bucket, will the bread crumb straighten out? I have never had any problems with baking bread, it always works, but with a stirrer there is alternate success, then the crumb breaks out, then no. I tried to take out the bread at once, tried to hold it in a bucket. The result is always different, non-systematic. The products are the same, the yeast is fresh.
an_domini
It's the same with Ken's stirrer. In Panas it is better, it sticks less, or does not stick at all, the bread is pulled out more accurately.
lady_blond
I will refresh Temka.
Gave Kenwood 450 for a wedding.
The first plain white bread turned out great. I ran across the ceiling with delight :) A loaf, like, 500 gr.put, and the bread is much higher than half the bucket turned out! A kilogram would not fit, I think.
There are a lot of plans now: I want both dough for buns, and Borodinsky, and also with onions and tomatoes, and something else - and immediately))
But in the evenings there is not enough time for everything, and you still have to have time to eat)))

I didn't figure out where the search was in the forum, so excuse me if there was a question.

Program 3 shows preheating. Only now it does not heat anything - the heating element is cold. It just keeps it for 30 minutes at room temperature, and then it interferes. Should it be warming at all, or is it a cunning heating - stupid endurance? Or is the oven so smart that it analyzes the temperature of the ingredients, the temperature outside and decides whether or not to heat it?

P.s. ABOUT! Found a similar question just on the previous page But there is no answer as such - there is an assumption that it seems to be warming. Therefore, the question is not removed ...
P.p.s. Whoever has a 100% working oven, conduct a pliz experiment, turn on program 3 (it can always be turned off) - the main thing is to tell me whether the heating element is heating at the preheating stage or not.

everything is correct: on the 3rd program, whole grain bread is baked, the whole grain must be soaked for 30 minutes in liquid at room temperature before kneading (this is the recipe condition),
there is also a condition for a bread machine: you cannot add cold liquids directly to the mold, they must first be held for 30 minutes at room temperature or slightly warmed up.
hence the conclusion: xn does not heat anything, because it thinks that you added liquid of the correct temperature to it), it only withstands a pause of 30 minutes

Finally, they gave me a Puddle-stove. Clever, beautiful, what to say!
I baked bread three times, everything was fine, but for the fourth and fifth time e-mail began to break out. counter. There shouldn't be any problems with the wiring (the house is new). Moreover, it works on kneading, lifting, but as it moves on to baking, it knocks everything out. I moved the HP to another outlet in the hall ... everything works. But from the upper left ventilation grill (when viewed from behind) there is a subtle smell of insulation (if you stick your nose close). I wanted to ask no one caught such a case?
