I bought x / p Kenwood BM-256 in November last year. Approximately in the second month of operation, the noise during mixing appeared and subsequently became louder and louder. When examining the x / n, I found out that the reason was that the lubricant on the lower support bearing of the drive motor had dried (leaked out, was absent initially), which led to such an unpleasant sound during kneading. But what surprised me most was that the engine had sleeve bearings, although the belt drive creates a significant shear load on the engine shaft. Bread was baked almost daily (kilogram), sometimes a couple of times a day. So there was a load on the oven. But I had to disassemble and lubricate the engine quite often. And today, due to the depletion in the lower bushing, the engine "died" completely. Manufacturers' wacky savings on bearings and this is the result! I'll have to look for a normal replacement engine, but for now - tomorrow I'll go buy a Moulinex 5002, although there are mixed reviews about this manufacturer ...

P.S. There are no complaints about the quality of the pastries.

Girls and boys accept the newbie!
I just choose HP and I'm already spinning, I almost stopped at Kenwood256, tell me who has it and how to add dried fruit seeds, there is definitely no dispenser, but does it give a sound signal?

anutka-anutik, I have had this xn for 2 years, until I have no complaints, I use it almost every other day, and sometimes it happens twice a day. The bread turns out well, the dough is wonderful (well, I don’t like to knead with my hands, so for lazy people, I can make pastries now at least every day)
The first time they baked quick bread according to the recipe for HP, it didn't work out, I was very upset, and then my daughter found this site, read the tips and instructions of the experienced, especially thanks Admin and everything began to work out. We don't buy bread in the store.
As for the seeds, etc., I sometimes add at once along with all the ingredients, sometimes on a sound signal (there is)following the recipe on display.

Thanks for the quick response! Now it's definitely decided to take it. That is, as I understood from the attached book, recipes do not work out, is it better from the site? Just now the next question is what bread to start with? And then I have already advertised to my family that I will bake delicious bread for them!
And yet (forgive me if I ask a lot of stupid questions) you can also make dough there on dumplings, otherwise I always have problems with it, too weak. I want my assistant to help me in everything!

anutka-anutik , if my bread did not work out, it does not mean that you will not succeed. I just do not like "dry" recipes, where there is simply a listing of products and that's it. Here on the site, usually everything with photos, people share their impressions, how did anyone succeed, you read the recipe and the responses and your hands itch, bake something. Read the section "Bread is the head of everything" on the main page of the forum, fascinating and entertaining reading, there are also step-by-step photos of making bread from Admin. The dumplings dough is also excellent, there is such a program. It's such a pleasure to tinker with baking bread when it gets tastier and tastier from baking to baking. Listening to my enthusiasm and trying my pastries, 4 employees have already bought HP. So, in any case, buy HP! For 2 years, thanks to this forum, I became a deviceaholic, I don’t have any primbabas (but I want more).I am an adult girl, these are my adult toys. The husband says that a woman should have all sorts of accessories to facilitate her work. Who would argue

I totally agree with your husband! : girl_claping: And I haven’t had time to buy HP yet, but I’m already dreaming of a multicraft.
Thanks a lot for the advice!

anutka-anutik, you must always start with the simplest - white wheat bread (flour, water, yeast, salt, sugar, oil). If something does not work out, then with a small number of variables it is easier to understand where the "jambs" got out. We mastered the simplest bread dough, felt it, made sure that not so much depends on the bread machine, then it is already possible to take more complicated recipes. Just familiarize yourself with the peculiarities of different types of dough (what consistency the dough with rye flour should be, how rich it should be, etc.).
