Disgusting HP, don't buy!
A light bulb cannot be replaced by a person with hands! For you will lose the guarantee! Only in the SC. The bucket does not live long.
An excellent stove both in terms of functionality and design.
Well, they change the light bulb, less often click back and forth.
And there are no eternal buckets, again, you can buy in the service.
mr.Flasher
emax, change. Month - another one your HP is lying in the SC, look and change it. And in general, it's funny to buy HP, so that it would be in the SC on the 2nd day (I assure you, the light bulb can wrap up on the 2nd day of purchase)
There are no eternal, but there are those who do not break. Or they break but rarely. (Read reviews about Panasonic)
You can buy it in the SC for 1/3 the cost of a new HP.
And about "click less often" the answer is banal: "it's better not to use HP at all, then it will last a very long time!"

Uncle Jenya, and what I have listed a little? Enough for me.

We have 25-30 bucks, no matter how 1/3 + I have not heard that everyone has a global problem.
And some models do not have bulbs at all. Wait until the end of the warranty and change yourself.
mr.Flasher
"We've got 25-30 bucks"
Where is it? Have you personally bought for such a price? I think you are wrong! The price for a new bucket in Dnepropetrovsk is ~ $ 70. 25-30 $ the cost of buckets for the lower HP Kenwood models. (of course, we are talking about standard "square" buckets, not about padar round buckets, etc.)
"And some models don't have bulbs at all", do you think that a Kenwood bulb is a free gift?

In general, I said everything. Even more. The question is - but I should have argued more. Ha! Buy for God's sake.

Have you broken the retainer or the coating peeled off?
Probably it happens with Panasonic too.
mr.Flasher
I do not need to change anything, I solved my problems. Everything works for me, both the bucket and the light bulb. I tried to warn people against buying this guan, but there is simply no point in seeing. Now I will be like Vanya28 to praise. Why, I got it, even if the rest. We will gild an unscrupulous company. Such statements can be made if this problem occurs with a significant number of buyers and the company refuses to eliminate the defect. With the same success, you can buy a defective or leftist Panasonic and say "guano", "unscrupulous company". It all smells bad.
mr.Flasher
emax, if you think that this is an isolated case, then re-read the reviews. Don't change your mind, read it again. And what are you talking about? About the bucket? Yes, there are not many such cases. I'm talking about a set of problems.
Does it smell bad? lol I have been on this forum for a relatively long time, and you can find my first posts where I, on the contrary, praise this HP.

But in general, as I said in the last message, yes, HP is just a fairy tale, I'm wrong. This is the best HP, it bakes super, I have an isolated case, we take everything until the price has risen! )

listen, you are some kind of strange by God, I am explaining to you what it means to check whether it is working - 1. plug into the socket, 2. turn the switch to the "on" position from behind. 3. make sure that the touch panel is working, there is a light in the stove. All. Look at the rest of the house. You don't like something, you hand it over to the store within 14 days. Which, it looks like you should have done, since you don't like her so much.

mr.Flasher, you are not accurate in assessing that I praise the Kenwood BM450, I just write the truth, and about the minuses too, and send it to the comparison section with Panasonic, including, see above.
Minuses of Kenwood BM450 are known, but there are plenty of pluses.
In terms of functionality, this is the best HP for today, it is enough to see the opportunity to write down any recipe yourself, or quickly correct it if it goes wrong.
If you are interested in my opinion about Panasonic, the mechanics of the HP bucket and drive are made better, but this is not the most compelling argument in purchasing.
Uncle Jenya
Hello everyone! Thank you for your comments on my question. I would like to ask Mr. Flasher which stove he uses now and which stove he thinks is a cut above the rest?
Mellusina
I would like to ask Mr. Flasher how long have you been using the Kenwood 450? how long will disappointment be?
Uncle Jenya
People! On a 10-point scale, how much would you give a 450 for build quality? And I understand that everyone who uses it had problems with the bulb and bucket?

9 points.
After 2 months, my stove had a backlight bulb flying. Repaired in the SC after 3 weeks - long and unpleasant.
For the rest, there are no complaints: nothing dangles, does not rattle, does not knock, the bucket is like new (th. Th. Th.)
Programming has limitations. If this is important for you - take a closer look at DeLongey, one of the models has such a function and without restrictions.
But in terms of design, it cannot be compared with any other.
Judging by the reviews, the most reliable and hassle-free are Panasonic. By the way, there is no window, not only backlight
All other x / n in my opinion do not deserve close attention.
In general, the choice is yours. Good luck.
mr.Flasher
Uncle Jenya, I cannot say that there is a stove a cut above, but I would prefer a Panasonic. I use Kenwood 450.
Specifically, I estimate the assembly at 2 points. There are reasons for this. For example, the switch does not hold well in the case. For some, the gasket does not match the cover. Someone does not wear it correctly at all.Someone even remembered the ventilation holes that would bake normally! Very soon, the reinforced aluminum on the bottom of the lid, which serves as thermal insulation, begins to move away. (I solved this problem by planting it on a sealant.) The handle of the bucket is almost not symmetrical for everyone, like the HP case itself. And so on. So that assembly is the worst. Otherwise, I agree with Egecihora.

Mellusina, I have been using it for a long time, I will not say how long, I don’t remember (But disappointment came about 2 months later. I only had problems with the bucket, but I see how many other problems from the reviews. I know many who have not unsubscribed about their problems with this HP.
Uncle Jenya
Thanks for the answer Egecihora! I think before the New Year, I’ll still make my choice. To be honest, I'm torn between Panas and Ken, and like many, judging by the forum. How I envy those who have already made a choice and are sleeping peacefully!
Uncle Jenya
Thanks to Mr. Flasher for the comprehensive info about minus 450th. And if you have been using it for so long (as an option), you may have come across a "damp" stove, I mean, they made a mistake, as an answer to competitors, and now in the process they are working on gaps. After all, not everyone has the same problems as you?
mr.Flasher
Uncle JenyaI have no problem, I had a problem only with a bucket!

Uncle JenyaI have no problem, I had a problem only with a bucket

But what about the switch in the case? What about Kenwood fixing all these problems or do you think they don't know about it? After all, the 450th is sold not only in Ukraine.
Uncle Jenya
Another question is whether it is necessary to buy a kitchen. Libra? And also: what equipment do Ken and Panas have? And I understand that everyone is asleep, so Good night! Till today.
mr.Flasher
Well, these are minor problems ... The switch was not properly seated in the groove.
I'm not a Kenwood employee, so I have no idea what they know or don't know if they are fixing it or not. But I don't think they care at all. Cheap labor = cheap assembly.

The package bundle seems to be the same, but Panasonic also has an additional special scoop for rye bread. I don't know how effective it is, but with a simple spatula, rye dough is very difficult to knead.
Someone wrote that Kenwood's scapula is made more literate than Panasonic's. I don't know how this is expressed.
Kenwood's measuring cup and spoon are also of poor quality. The scales fade relatively quickly. Buying a replacement will be a big problem! Measuring cups on sale are mainly of large volume, liter and above. They are not very suitable when used with HP. (The larger the volume of the glass, the less the accuracy. More precisely, the width of the glass plays a role here.) Yes, and their scales are usually either in liters or even in kaoki * rheni. And if there is ml, then the scale is located so that you will not want to use it. And there are few measuring spoons in which cities / countries they sell.

Off-top:
I remember I bought some kvass for tap. They poured half a glass. When asked why I had so underfilled, I received a reply: "I poured it with a measuring glass in front of you, that's for sure."
Such measuring cups are often sold, and they are in demand among trade workers. )))

Many may say: "this is all nonsense, you can do everything with scales alone." I agree that you can. You can not buy HP at all, but bake bread in the oven. They say it's even tastier.

Scales are not a must purchase, but highly desirable!

In the Kenwood recipe book, almost everything is in grams, and not in cups like some other manufacturers. (And this is good, but ..) Therefore, without the scales, the oven according to this book just won't work. We'll have to convert grams to liters.

...
Libra, if you always want the same result, you have to buy.
Take a closer look at the 5kg weights with 2g precision and flat top, no extra cups. They will take up little space and are suitable for all kitchen needs.
Triangular measuring spoons made of stainless steel (a set with a magnet in the handles) are always in IKEA.
Measuring glasses, this is an ambush. Good ones can be bought in chemical (laboratory) glassware or, for example, for the kitchen by the German firms Leifheit, the Swiss ones Bodum, the latter company mainly makes glassware for tea and coffee, and there you need to look.
mr.Flasher
Vanya28, thanks, but we don't have IKEA! And there are no lifehights either. Imho we have a bum guy. All UA is a bummer. Sorry!
I bought a chemical glass, but it is too small. I don’t use it. For the time being, the native scales have been somehow kept.
Vanya28
The nearest IKEA is in Rostov, friends are there, I suppose sometimes.
Also here on the forum Lelek will help with your problem.

Unfortunately, about METRO and Epicenter from the series "I have this written on the fence ... And there is firewood."
Rather, there have not been any normal measuring glasses there. I don’t know about home appliances, I’ll go as a thread.

At Dr. Oetker I only see 1-liter glasses. But no, there is still some 0.5 l glass. But again, at those addresses this assortment has never been in my life! There were some Chinese in the new line. But they are wide and with inconvenient scales.

RybkA
but Panasonic also gives an additional special scoop for rye bread.
This is only for the 255th model, there is a Rye Bread program. There is no such thing in the 254th.

Someone wrote that Kenwood's scapula is made more literate than Panasonic's. I don't know how this is expressed.
Panasonic's shoulder blade is straight, and Kenwood's, as far as I remember, is curved. But the main thing is, what is the result, eh?

Kenwood's measuring cup and spoon are also of poor quality. The scales fade relatively quickly. Buying a replacement will be a big problem! Measuring cups on sale are mainly of large volume, liter and above. They are not very suitable when used with HP.
I can offer the option of replacing the measuring cup ... Go to the children's supermarket and choose a baby bottle with 10 ml graduations, preferably with the ability to use in microwaves and with a wide neck, BUT not necessary. I do this myself sometimes, measuring with a baby bottle. The accuracy there is quite high, because it is very important for the preparation of infant formula, I say this from my own experience, as a mother of two children. Well, owners of liquid scales can simply weigh 1g = 1ml.

Take a closer look at 5kg weights with 2g precision and flat top, no extra cups.
Extra cups are really not needed. I weigh it immediately in a sifting bowl for flour.
But the accuracy of 2 g is not enough for me personally. Now it has begun to bake on live yeast, and so sometimes it is necessary to weigh 1, 3 and 5 g, but there is no possibility, you have to break it by eye, but why then tell the scales?

As a local resident, I tell you, it's not realistic to find all this here! Well I was looking ...
mr.Flasher, here I agree with you 100%. We have the same situation in the city. So the links Vanya28 are not relevant for us.

Vanya28
With a baby bottle, this is a way out, and modern bottles have a wide neck.
It is more difficult with small weights. As an option, purchase a second small scale up to 100-300 grams. There, the accuracy is usually 0.1-0.01 grams.
Mellusina
Mr. Flasher, and your oven is made in which country - maybe the problems depend on the assembly?
sazalexter
Mellusina In fact, Kenwoods, like most HPs, are assembled in China. In 2001, De'Longhi acquired the Kenwood trademark, which had bought the Ariete trademark a few years earlier. Thus, De'Longhi owns two major brands, Kenwood and Ariete.

Mellusina I've heard about barcodes, as well as about their varieties, EAN-13, Code 128, Code 39, etc. etc.
But for reference ... It is not uncommon to see an inscription on a product, for example, "Made in Germany", but the code on the label does not correspond to this country. There may be several reasons:
• the company was registered and received a code not in its own country, but in the one where the main export of its products was directed.
• the product was manufactured at a subsidiary.
• the product was manufactured in one country, but under the license of a firm from another country.
• several firms from different countries become founders of the enterprise

Hello everyone and thank you for all the information you can find on this wonderful forum! We thought for a long time whether it was worth buying a bread maker, and today she settled in our kitchen! Yeah, Kenwood BM450. The very first bread turned out to be lumpy - I put it not even on just fast, but on accelerated baking by mistake ... the unsuccessful bread did not even have time to cool down, and the family had already gnawed the entire crust from it from all sides and declared that there was more store bread do not want. Now we are patiently waiting for wheat, I really hope for good luck
