Thank you. And then yesterday I bought a PMM and today I put the lid on, and then I decided to ask, I run to take it out
Lud-Mil @
Yu l and @, probably no longer relevant, I would recommend Polaris Floris or Kitchen (this is actually the same cartoon in different colors). It is inexpensive, there is a Yogurt program, it bakes great, and the Porridge program is also good.
Lud-Mil @
Girls, I have sorrow, I’m sitting almost crying - it seems my son broke my beloved Saturnchik. I cooked borsch, my son asks - is it ready? I answered him: try it, if the lid unlocked, then yes. I don’t know how he tried it there, but it splashed out of the saucepan (I looked later, half of the pan was left there), he says that the lid opened easily. I immediately suspected something was wrong, went to check, put in a spare pot of water, turned it on, the water boiled, the valve closed, the lid blocked, but after a few seconds some strange hissing started and then a terrible loud sound, either howling or screeching. Of course, I was very scared, quickly turned it off, washed everything, put it on again - the same thing. Nobody had it like that? Is this all, the end, or can you somehow fix it?
Kleeo
Check the O-ring on the inner lid, I had it when it broke and more steam poured out from under the lid.
Lud-Mil @
The ring did not seem to be torn, although when I carried the lid to wash it to the sink, it fell, this has never happened to me before. Thanks for the advice, I have a new ring somewhere, I'll go try it, and suddenly I'm lucky and everything will work.
Sone4ka

I recently had a seal on the dexa, I did not notice, and when I went into the kitchen, the whole kitchen was in steam, a liter of liquid boiled away and there was a puddle around the pressure cooker.
Steam, by the way, whistled out from under the lid.
replaced the seal and normul
Lud-Mil @
Kleeo, I tried with a new plate, something is still wrong with my Saturn. She turned it on, the valve closed, the lid blocked, everything seems to be fine, but after a few seconds the valve (which dangles) starts to hiss again louder and louder. To be honest, I didn't wait. I was very afraid that this screeching would be heard again, turned it off. She immediately turned it on again, there was no hiss. on the Rice program, the pressure cooker worked for 12 minutes normally, went to heating, I turned it off. The pressure came off on its own, but at the very end, before unlocking, for some reason, a loud hiss was heard from the valve again. I decided to start it again - everything is the same, it blocks, the valve starts to hiss, I turn it off, turn it on again - the second time it doesn't hiss, it works quietly. I don’t know what to do, now it’s scary to leave it unattended, I’ve always been afraid of pressure cookers, but I’m just convinced that the electric ones are not terrible, and on you. So I got used to my Saturnik, he never let me down, always turned on and went calmly to do other things, and now it's already scary.
Sone4ka, I somehow not so long ago forgot to put the removable plate together with the ring - I washed the lid, the plate, put it to dry, and then began to cook the soup and closed it with one lid without the plate, I went to the computer myself. And I also thought about going to turn off the heating, but got carried away and the soup probably boiled for about an hour and a half, everything evaporated, it turned out not a soup, but a stew, but Saturnchik did not suffer then.
lyudo4ka
Lud-Mil @, or maybe, as an option, try to disassemble this very valve and clean it thoroughly. Perhaps steam is blocking the lid, and there is some kind of blockage on it, so he swears. We look forward to good news, hold on!
P.S. and also look at the O-ring on the valve itself.
lyudo4ka
Lud-Mil @, how are things with the pressure cooker?
Lud-Mil @
Lyudochka, Thanks I `am fine! On the same day (or rather, the night already) launched it again, it worked fine. For several days then I was still afraid to approach him, but I had to cook the soup quickly, loaded the saucepan full, wait 20 minutes until it was blocked, I didn’t want to, went to another room with an inner shudder, and sat listening. A little later I went to check - and such a clever Saturnik is already snoring slowly, cooking. After that time it became somehow quieter, I cook as usual, sometimes the truth starts to stir again, but so far, pah-pah, it works without misfires.
The only negative - the new sealing ring smells somehow unnatural, slightly "chemical" smell, and I haven't tried to put the old one, I'm afraid. Well, nothing, I hope that soon this smell will disappear.

Lyudochka, thanks for the advice! Still relevant, I do not shop so quickly. I can choose, bear for six months. I've been staring at Paul for a long time. It is Floris who confuses me, oddly enough, with a low price. Although I like it in terms of functions. But there is a model of 500 rubles more expensive, maybe better than it? Well, yes, it should be in another Temko, otherwise I'll get a slipper NOW!
Luda, I congratulate you on the "cure" of your multi, they are already like relatives, like family members, and it is hard to lose them.
I want to say thank you for your recipes, especially the recipe for potato casserole.
Yu l and @
And taking this opportunity, I ask the advice of our experts.
In order to save time, I adapted to making a lot of cutlets and freezing them in the freezer. And this must happen, the last time I forgot to put an egg in the minced meat. Well, since the minced chicken and beef (I blinded it from what was), my cages are spreading in the pan.
I decided to try to steam them (4 kilograms, nevertheless, it is necessary to save it!). I don't have a steamer, I read that in our saucepan you can pour some water on the bottom, and the valve will steam the food. Tell me on what mode, and how many minutes. Frozen cutlets.
Maybe someone had experience?
Lud-Mil @
Julia, sorry, I haven't looked into Temka for a long time, haven't seen your question. I only steamed beets in Saturn. I have a metal folding double boiler, which, as it were, consists of petals, such were the Soviet ones before, maybe you can find one, or you can buy it somewhere? I put a silicone mat on the bottom of the bowl so as not to scratch it, on it this steamer with beets. I also like to boil eggs in Saturn, a little water (up to half the height of the eggs approximately) and one minute per Bird, it works great, it never flows out.
If it doesn't work out even for a couple, then maybe you still need to defrost the cutlets and add eggs to them? I understand that it is undesirable to defrost meat once again, but why should I suffer so much ... Alternatively, you can cook pasta naval style from such sprawling cutlets
Don't let the price of Floris bother you, it's an excellent cartoon, my sister has been using it for the second year with great pleasure.
Yu l and @
Lyudmilochka, thanks for the advice! I have been thinking for a long time how to adapt the eggs in the cartoon. And, yes! - I decided that I would take Polya. After the crisis.
Depending on the availability of the model at that time, but Floris will no longer be afraid.
Decision on cutlets (using my own experiment) - poured a couple of cm of water on the bottom, laid the cutlets, greased with homemade mayonnaise (just a whim). Mode "Baby food", about 8 minutes will be enough: whole, soft, juicy, with gravy !!! Om-Nom-nom!
Lud-Mil @
Julia, that's great, I'm glad that your problem has been solved.

Description from 🔗:

From myself I will add, after inspecting "profit":
1. Liked: *workmanship in general; *design; * cover quality - separate button for steam release (on top of the handle) and valve type "ala" 🔗; the lid is covered with plastic (less likely to get burned); a hinged cover from which it can be removed (and not simply removed); * like a normal saucepan; * good equipment; * good control panel - usual large display, large buttons with signatures; * cupcake mode * condensate collector; * double boiler - metal; * children's menu?; * power 1000W; * 6L; * 2 years gar.
2. Didn't like: * as always - no separate fur. power off buttons; * no baking mode; * after a detailed examination, as always, the thickness of the lid metal was disappointing (like all Saturns). * insruction - sadness; * the cover of the case will likely peel off quickly; * the cover of the lid (bluish) will peel off already in the store, why do this - it is not clear ...

PS. In general, I visually liked it in terms of performance characteristics too. Looking at the price of 50ue, you have to take it.
I already wanted to buy, but after detailed consideration, I changed my mind. One gets the impression that the Saturn technique is created not by engineers, but by ordinary Chinese. And the verification of the efficiency of the equipment is performed by the end users at the risk of their health. Considering the tin cover of this pressure device, I did not buy it myself and cannot recommend it to others ... health is more expensive. Of all the pressure cookers I've seen, it is the Saturn pressure cookers (and all of them) that are distinguished by thin tin lids that bend easily in the hands.

I would look at the non-stick coating - in previous models, the color of the bowl inside is lighter and for 2 dishes is worse (the special bought from the dex pressure cooker in it the second dishes do not burn at all) and in Redmond with a fur timer, the bowl is also nothing (by the way, all 3 bowls are the same)

non-stick coating would look
It is difficult to assess the coverage of the bowl by eye. We now have Scarlett SL-1529 on our farm, we don't fry in it especially, they made cottage cheese doughs. She's been at work for more than a year.
In ST-MC9184new, the pan looks like nothing, but I can't say anything about the coating by eye, gnaw it or something ...
wmw55
I read this whole topic and had something to compare with (at first, others wrote that the coverage was weak)
Mad max
Hello everyone, tell me a good non-stick saucepan and where to buy it, in 5L Saturn, for cooking main courses, you won't find DIP 4 anywhere.
Here they seem to sell

https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...on=com_smf&topic=162308.0

, but only with a grooved bottom, what does it affect, I don't know, who else took one?
wmw55
find out the sizes from the redmond 4507 (when I bought myself from the dex pressure cooker, I found out - they seem to be identical and the coating there is normal and not corrugated)
Tna
Quite recently I was presented with the miracle of technology Saturn ST-MC9184 NEW., I am slowly mastering it. To say that I am very pleased is to say nothing ... If someone tells me whether it is possible to bake in it, I will be very grateful !!!
Lud-Mil @
Tna, I have a Saturn ST-MC9184 without a NEW prefix, it bakes very well, the only drawback is that the saucepan coating is sticky, the baking lags poorly. But I adapted a teflon sheet for baking, there are such thin ones to lay on baking sheets, I cut out a circle from it to the size of the bottom of the pan, underlay it, it is much better now the baking is removed, you just need to gently push it away from the sides of the bowl with a spatula.
Judging by the picture, your model should also bake, if I'm not mistaken, this is the program on the Cake button, check the instructions.
Tna
Thank you for the answer! I have such a model as here on the forum a photo is displayed a little higher .... the instructions say dessert, but you can guess what you want .... I that there should be no pressure on this function? And another question, is it possible to ferment yoghurts?
Tna
It's great that there are such forums! Today I baked in my pressure cooker, according to the recipe taken here on the forum, a biscuit "Kolobok" .... I am delighted with the result! The cake is extremely tasty, it doesn't stick to the mold! what is most important. Thank you hostesses !!!
Lud-Mil @
Tna, That's fine! What program did you bake on, Cake (dessert)? This, apparently, is baked goods, just translated incorrectly.
As for the yogurt, in our model it seems like the girls made it at Defrosting, but in yours it seems there is no such program. You can try the way everyone prepared when there was no Yogurt program in multicooker yet - pour milk mixed with sourdough into jars, pour water into a multi bowl, heat it in a pressure cooker to 40 degrees, put jars in water, close the pressure cooker. It keeps the temperature well, after a while you can heat it up a couple more times (just do not overheat!). If you ferment with Biomax or Activia, then in 4 hours the yogurt will be ready, take it out and put it in the refrigerator for ripening.
I recently bought Greek yogurt in a store, fermented it with it, I really liked it.
Tna
Thank you very much for the advice, but how do you heat the water to a certain temperature? Which mode?
Tna
Yesterday I prepared barley with chicken stomachs according to the recipe from this forum .... I have never tasted such delicious barley in my life !!! She's not just soft, but melts in her mouth !!! and this despite the fact that the same soft navels and in just 40 minutes. My household ate and asked for an addition .... Write another interesting recipe!
anja88
Naspravdі recipes in tsіy temі even more. I reread the topic all the way to the end. Bagato brown and practical information, as well as recipes. Є Another theme is with children recipes for the pressure cooker.
Lud-Mil @
Tina, it’s very nice that you liked my recipe for barley with giblets, so it was not in vain that I made out and laid it out. Sorry for not immediately answering about the preparation of yogurt - I did not go to the forum these days.
It is possible to heat in any mode, and the time can be determined empirically, otherwise it will not work, because all multicooker differs in its "temperament", there are hotter ones, there is quieter. In simple cartoons, it seems like they turned on for 10 minutes, but Saturn is very smart, you can overheat. Try to turn on any program and after a minute check the water, how hot it is, if not enough, heat it up still. If there is a thermometer for water - even better, wait until 40 degrees and turn it off.
Yu l and @

Prepared yogurt on the "Defrost" program. He heated the water on the stove so that the hand was comfortable. Milk too. Keep on the program for a total of 2 hours, adding time each time. The program is designed for 20-30 minutes, but maintains the temperature required specifically for yoghurt.
Tna
Unfortunately there is no defrost function in my model
anja88
Tna, Skoda. For what it was to take away the function in the new model, it didn’t sound.

Of all the pressure cookers I've seen, it is the Saturn pressure cookers (and all of them) that are distinguished by thin tin lids that bend easily in the hands.
For some reason it seems to me that you are talking about a removable protective cover, they are always aluminum or, as you say, tin ones, it has a protective function - it protects the valve from pollution.
And the lids of pressure cookers, even those for 50 ye - are steel, otherwise they would definitely not survive cooking under pressure.
wmw55
as far as I remember, the magnet does not take food stainless steel, so the magnet "sticks" to the body of the pressure cooker, but not to the lid, so draw conclusions (and it is unlikely that it is aluminum)
SeredaG
She ran with a magnet to her

****
I have Alby. she is already 3 years old.the magnet stuck to the lid with a bang - no, and inside the lid is removable - my protective one looks like aluminum, my father-in-law somehow dropped my pressure cooker from the window sill to the floor last year - so it (internal) bent with a figure eight - I leveled it and everything is ok Only a piece of plastic fell off the handle on the lid

No, I wrote about the lid itself with the handle on which the valve and the aluminum plate with the gasket are attached.
I have a Scarlett SL-1529, so the thickness of the metal cover in it is one and a half times more than in any Saturn cc and it does not "bend" by hand like the cover of the Saturn ST-MC9184 NEW.
Therefore, I can believe, for example, such reviews about the Saturn ck: 🔗
PS Family safety is more expensive ... and in general Saturn ST-MC9184 NEW is not bad, but "saving on matches" is in the spirit of Saturn.
Lud-Mil @
g_alien, unfortunately, we cannot tell you anything, because everyone here has an old, not updated model, everything seems to be in order with the thickness of the metal, in any case, these pressure cookers have been serving their mistresses for a year and more faithfully ... I have something to compare with, I worked in a home appliance store, and managed to touch all the pressure cookers that went on sale - polaris, units, redbers, scarlett. Saturns were in no way inferior to them, that's why I took a 5 liter model for myself, a 6 liter sister, both work flawlessly (pah-pah-pah). I didn’t see the new model, maybe they really cheated on it, and for some reason the programs were removed very good ones.
wmw55
what to buy a bowl for a 6 liter so that the bread does not burn? -when it comes to turning over, for baking with a friend. hand, the loaf (for 1 kg of flour) does not fall out (I rip off with a spatula on the sides), the bottom and sides burn, and as a result the piece falls out and the piece remains glued to the bottom - the bowl is greased; and exactly the same from the dex pressure cooker (suitable) in the native bread sticks a little but falls out by itself, and in the dex one everything is beautiful) but there is 800 grams of flour (no longer fits)
Lud-Mil @
wmw55, I bought pots from Lend Life pressure cookers for myself and my sister, but they also had a sticky coating, the baked goods did not pop out. I can only recommend a Teflon non-stick mat (similar to baking paper, but denser, reusable), I cut a circle out of this according to the size of the bottom of the bowl, even a little more, I always put it in if I want to bake something in Saturn, then bake from the walls I carefully separate it with a silicone spatula, and it easily pops out together with the rug.

Hello everybody! I specially registered on the site. I have a Saturn ST-MC 9181 multicooker. But I cannot use the recipes for conventional multicooker, because this multicooker is special. Firstly, the lid closes hermetically and I don’t understand how to do "first overcooking with the lid open", and secondly, it is very powerful, well, it’s easier here, set the time a couple of times according to the recipe and everything burned, then I realized that meat is stewed there in 10 minutes.
Help, how to cook pilaf in it? I only have porridge and stewing for rice, the function is suitable, but you yourself understand, this is not pilaf. I tried many times and put it on for only 10 minutes, but the rice is just stewed there ((
Valyushechka_ya
KaterinaL, Take recipes for this and other multicooker pressure cookers, After all, a pressure cooker is better than a multicooker, for me personally. The difference from MS-9184 and MS-9181 is the size of the bowl.
KaterinaL
Thanks for the answer. I read that there are no recipes specifically for my multicooker. And I already wrote about other recipes, for me they are not compatible with my multicooker. At home there are 3 books for a multicooker, but you have to adjust everything, but pilaf never comes out, but I really want to)))

and what exactly is not clear?
first, with the lid open on the "frying" program, cook zirvak (add spices and salt at this stage)
then I throw rice into it, let it go a little until transparent and only then add water
but here you need to understand that the liquid does not evaporate from the pressure cooker, which means you need to be careful with water so as not to overflow
Since I thoroughly rinse the rice and leave it in the water while preparing the zirvak, then I add water one to one with rice, that is, if I take a glass of DRY rice, then I add a glass of water to the bowl.
yes, I put a whole head of garlic in the center of the saucepan.

after the liquid has bubbled, I close the lid, put the rice program for 15 minutes, at the end I do not release the pressure, but leave it on the heating for 40 minutes, or even an hour.

if something is not clear ask)
Mad max
Good afternoon, did anyone use this, or knows about the quality? It seems to fit in size, and here on the forum they sell pots and write the same to our Saturn and comfort.
