Lud-Mil @
Somnia, congratulations, we really have a very good pressure cooker!
We have already discussed the deferral, those programs that are under the menu button are really not very convenient to program for deferral, read here my message. And those programs that are set by separate buttons (Rice, Poultry) are not suitable for you for delayed cooking?
The girls also wrote about cabbage that it is better to lay it when everything else has already been cooked, and now I do so. Yesterday I cooked chicken broth on Poultry for 25 minutes, then put potatoes, onions, carrots in it, turned on the Soup for 7 minutes, I could have put vegetables together with meat right away, but my chicken was tough, soup. After the lid was unlocked, put cabbage and boiled grated beets with tomato into a saucepan, turned on Rice for 1 minute. You don't have to turn it on, just cover and let it brew - this is if you like cabbage with crust.

Good evening ! Thank you girls for your congratulations. Saturnichkom is very happy. The question is probably more for the hostesses 6 liters. pots. Does anyone know if a saucepan with moulinex se4000 fits our pressure cooker? And what is the quality of its coverage? A wall-mounted steamer fits into this bowl.
lyudo4ka
Lanach, it is impossible to use mounted steamers in SCV, only in MV.
Lanach
The hinged double boiler (in the Moulinex se 4000 pressure cooker) is attached to the bowl projections.
Lud-Mil @
Svetlana, is there probably a double boiler not on top, but in the middle of the bowl, like a metal plate? You need to find out in the topic about mulinex the sizes of their saucepan and compare with your own, whether they are the same or not.

and in Vimara exactly the same
Lanach
No girl. The steamer basket is mounted on 4 protuberances (such as balls), just below the rim of the bowl.
Somnia
Lud-Mil @, thanks for the answer! Now I figured it out!
I recently had an incident: I was looking for a steam grate for my SV, no one sold it separately on the market, but those that I measured fit! I ordered it on Kidstfe, but it does not fit - it fails, although they explained to me that they are all standard.
Another moment: the lentils were burnt - I had to clean them with a fingernail - somehow quickly I "zyuzat" my bowl. So now you need to look for both. If someone throws a link at me, where did they buy, or at least from which model to look for spare parts?
Yes, and 8 hours of delayed start is not fraught with souring (if these are vegetables and meat together in water)? Here are how many questions
Aina
Somnia,
I took a stainless steel pot from Polina
https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=162308.0
I have a 6 liter one. I am very satisfied. Everything fits perfectly.
She probably has for a 5 liter one too.
And also, in my opinion, someone took from dex, the pans there are very good, re-read our Temka, somewhere I met, like from dex-pressure cooker-40.

I took. Very high quality saucepan Suitable. But if Saturn cooks quieter with his own saucepan, then sometimes he snores with dex. Nothing critical, I've been cooking in it for a long time and often. And I had to throw out my own. The husband accidentally dropped it, bent it. It seemed to be leveled, outwardly without irregularities, but it was etched specifically. So out of harm's way, I threw it away in fig.

Accurately fit from the dex pressure cooker. Our Lika_n sells.

Girls, how long did anyone have their own rubber ring? I have three months and it became scary to poison? And what - I don't know ...
Kleeo
My ring broke after 3 - 4 months.
Natka8
Girls, where to buy silicone rings that are 100% suitable?
Aina
Polina's - 100% resemble, now stands.
The girls also wrote that the Comfort, Liberty pressure cooker is also suitable from the Dex pressure cooker.

I have 2 rings, one from SV Liberty, which I use for soups, etc. dishes, and my own - for baking and pier. porridge (respectively, I use it less often), and so since July, almost like new.
Aina
lyudo4ka,
And if you compare liberty and Saturn - which one is better?
lyudo4ka
Outwardly - Liberty, in speed (which is more important for me) - Saturn, basically (if I do not need two SVs at the same time) I use Saturn more. Choosing now, I would definitely give preference to him
Natka8
Thank you girls! : flowers: I will order

Maybe it stretched out? Recently, in some topic I came across information that the ring can be boiled with a lemon, then it sits back well again.
Aina
Do you think the acid will "sit down"? And how much lemon to take?
Lud-Mil @
I don't know why, but it was written that the village was. Maybe from acid, or maybe from boiling. Nothing was said about the amount of lemon.
Aina
I'll try the other day! I'll try with citric acid (sorry for the lemon). Rings are not a pity - I can experiment!

Hello everybody. a week ago I bought a cartoon Saturn. I made rice twice, it turned out very good and tasty. I have a few questions for experienced Saturnists :) I still do not understand in which position to correctly put the valve that releases the pressure. Even if the pressure is not released, the lid will not open? and where recipes can be viewed for our St. and if you have any tips and tricks with cartoons, write in brief, I can not reread all 114 pages at a time. And this is my first cartoon and in general the only one available for sale in my country, I'm afraid because of improper use to break it ((

If the valve is turned towards the handle, it releases steam.
If to the hole, the lid is blocked, and excess steam will escape through this hole.
It is not necessary to let off steam, but it is MANDATORY to wait for the pressure to drop by itself.
Please note that this is not a multicooker, but a real SKIN COOKER that cooks under pressure.
If you want to deflate the steam manually, it is better to do it under a wet towel. Cover the lid with a towel (a towel in several layers) and, together with the towel, smoothly turn the valve towards the handle, fix it and wait for the steam to stop fuming. When the lid is unlocked there is a characteristic click, but you may not even hear it, better navigate by the pair when it disappears. The cover should turn easily and effortlessly. A bit too much, but I think in detail ...

Let's wait for the experiment with great impatience !!! It seems to me, too, is already starting to undercut slightly. Although I do not use it so often, 2-3 times a week, I still have more demand for cartoon

Ukrainian girls, look, maybe you have rings on Polaris where rings are sold (can you order them in services?). I tried on a removable plate with a ring from the Polaris 0305 pressure cooker on Saturn (in 0105 and 0205 they are exactly the same), it sits like my own.
azaza
I have been using a removable plate with a ring from Polaris 0105 for a long time. I use my own lid with a ring exclusively for compotes and milk.
lyudo4ka
And I do the same: a plate and a ring from SV Liberty for "aromatic" dishes, a native plate and a ring - pastries, milk and compote
Lanach
I have a removable lid assembly from Dex 40 - 100% fit. I use it for fish.

Another cabbage in Saturik, this time I cooked like this: first I grated cabbage and carrots on a coarse grater, salted. Legs, rice (who likes millet), pour potatoes with water, add chopped onions and for 15 minutes. under pressure. At this time, I prepared frying in a frying pan - onions, carrots, sl. fried pepper in lard, add a spoonful of flour, after that. pasta and juice, stew. The pressure was released manually, the potatoes were removed from the broth, crushed with a mashed potatoes and diluted with water (boiling water). We return the potatoes, frying, squeezed cabbage back to the pan, let it boil, add bay leaves, ground pepper, taste for salt and after turning off add a piece of butter, close the SCV lid and let it brew a little. ...

Good evening! Today I received an additional 6L non-stick bowl. to your Saturik! Bowl from the Moulinex multicooker se 4000. The quality is wonderful! Fits great! "Soup" with lemon - the valve worked on time, there was no steam from under the lid. Test - baking. The apple pie popped out immediately, absolutely not stuck. The flight is normal!
Aina
Lanach, Great! I have been staring at her for a long time, but I was still afraid that it would not work ...
Thanks for your feedback!

only the baking and roasting functions work
in other cases, the timer does not start, but the warming up indicator just blinks, is that so for everyone?
or will it start counting down after warming up?
Lud-Mil @
Yes, it should be - this cartoon is gaining pressure. As soon as she picks it up, the valve will close and the countdown will begin.
Maria Moskalenko
and we had such that the valve closed, and waited for 10 minutes, nothing started, when the rice was cooked, it was already cooked, but the countdown did not start (
Lud-Mil @
I don’t know, is it like this every time? Then contact the service or store for an exchange.
Maria Moskalenko
here is the third time we try, it is frying and baking that work instantly, and the rest do not
and how long do you need to wait for warm-up, before the start of the count?
Lud-Mil @
Well, this is when how, depending on what you cook, how full the bowl is, what is the initial temperature. If you pour cold water to the maximum, for example, when we cook broth, then 20-25 minutes will be required.

Maybe your valve was not closed? The pressure was not gained, the saucepan was boiling at maximum power, so the rice had time to cook, but the countdown did not start.
Maria Moskalenko
thanks, we will try)

I came to cry Oh, what was yesterday
Yesterday I decided to cook milk rice (2 tablespoons of rice, 3 tablespoons of 10% cream and 7 tablespoons of water). But since the day before I was cooking mackerel in oil, I decided to replace the roof cover and silicone with new ones that I received from TaoBao.
I loaded the porridge, I sit near the pressure cooker - I read the advertisement. I hear the characteristic hiss that appears before the valve is blocked. I looked at the pressure cooker - and what I see is milk is flowing from under the lid, collecting in the rim of the pressure cooker. I immediately hit the orange button to stop the program.
In general, there is a full milk drip tray and rim. So yesterday the drip tray helped me out a lot - it justified its purpose.
The pressure cooker did not gain pressure. The display is completely fogged up.
She put the porridge to cook on the stove, since the milk flowed under the pan, and, therefore, under the heating element. I turned Saturik over to the top with a priest, from under the heater about 2 tbsp poured out. l. milk, well, a spoonful of milk poured out through the bottom.
These are the things - and these are the new silicones. Now again and try baus

And here is what our Saturik looks like if you remove the bottom for him:Saturn ST-MC9184 pressure cooker multicooker (reviews)
lyudo4ka
irysska, this is a nuisance. But, I think, no, I'm sure that everything will be fine. Saturik will dry out and everything will be OK. And you could not accidentally forget to close the valve (well, you never know)? ... Try, after complete drying (after about a week), test this insert with silicone in a small amount of water.

thank you very much

Quote: lyudo4ka
And you could not accidentally forget to close the valve (well, you never know)?
yes, just no, because when I turned off the pressure cooker, I think I'll take off the lid - and, as always, I turned the valve to the "open" position with a spatula - but, as it turned out, there was no pressure
that is, I am absolutely sure that I was closing the valve, although it would be better (and easier) if I forgot - at least it was clear why the milk ran
and so I sin on silicone
Igodor
Silicon probably has nothing to do with it. It is quite easy to check that a non-native O-ring is suitable for the pan - separate the inner lid with the silicone ring and put it on the pan. If the silicone ring fits snugly against the top of the pot and covers it at least 2/3 of the width of the side, then the ring is normal and suitable for use in a pressure cooker.

And the outflow of milk was most likely caused by the ingress of rice grains on this top rim of the saucepan, which led to a lack of sealing. We had a similar case. But I noticed this at the very beginning and there were no consequences like yours.

Therefore, I advise all housewives (I have already instructed my own) to bring the following action to automatism - before any closing of the lid of the pressure cooker, wipe the top side of the saucepan with a dry cloth.
Igodor
I also had a chance to disassemble and dry the insides of Saturn - just two days ago. My hostess decided to put the soup water into the pressure cooker without putting the saucepan in it. It's good that she was not included in the network.

As a result, my advice on eliminating such an incident (if someone suddenly happens like that).

one.Unplug the pressure cooker as quickly as possible by unplugging the power cord (if plugged in).
2. Never turn the pressure cooker upside down. Place it in a sink or bathtub and drain all the water in an upright position. When turning over, the water will not only be where it has already been, but it will also flow into those places where it cannot get in the normal position.
3. After draining the water without turning the pressure cooker (you may need an assistant for this), unscrew the two screws on the bottom cover and remove it.
4. Again, without turning it over with dry rags, wipe wet parts inside the pressure cooker body.
5. Using a hair dryer, dry the insides of Saturn. At this stage, you can already turn the body upside down.

Half an hour later, our soup was already being cooked in our Saturik.

Take me to your company too. Yesterday I also became the owner of Saturn))) I bought it completely unexpectedly, my parents bought a TV in Eldorado a couple of months ago, there was a discount on the TVizor (they gave out a card with an amount of 400gr to purchase the next product in Eldorado). Mom gave me a card with the words buy what you want as a gift for March 8))) Why my choice fell on Saturn - I don't know, I just liked it outwardly, I wanted to buy a slow cooker for a long time. 499gr is not that much money. Sellers did not strongly recommend Saturn. recommended by other firms, albeit for completely different money))) Having arrived home, I began to look in the internet what I had bought and how to live with this monster. I came across a forum where I often distort recipes. I began to read, read up to 30 pages.
Yesterday I made a potato fish casserole from that frail recipe book. which went along with the SV. it turned out unusually tasty and, most importantly, quickly - 10 minutes.
Girls, explain to me stupid, I have already learned to put the lid, but ... where to hook this plastic container for water? on the handle? There, three grooves especially don't fit anywhere ...
