Ingredients

Dough
Wheat flour 320 g
Sugar 130 g
Softened butter 170 g
Egg 1 PC
Baking powder 2 tsp
Filling
Egg yolks 2 pcs.
Sugar 2 tbsp. l.
Salt pinch
Milk 330 g
Flavoring (I have Tiramisu)

Cooking method

  • Cooking the dough.
  • Beat the egg with sugar until white. Continuing to beat, add butter. Then flour mixed with baking powder. We collect the dough in a ball, wrap it in plastic and put it in the refrigerator.
  • Cooking the filling.
  • Beat the egg yolks with sugar until white. Add flour. Beat again. Add milk and salt. Bring to a boil, but do not boil. Reduce the fire, cook, stirring occasionally over low heat until the mass thickens (I got about 20 minutes). Cover the saucepan with foil so that the filling does not wind up and leave to cool.
  • We collect the cake.
  • Grease the mold with oil. Divide the dough into 2/3 and 1/3. Distribute most of it with your hands in shape, making a small side.

  • Pour the cooled filling. Press the sides to the height of the filling.

  • Pinch off pieces from 1/3 of the dough (the size of a walnut), roll a ball and flatten it on the palm of your hand. Spread the resulting "patches" in a circle on the filling in 2 rows.

  • Bake in an oven preheated to 180C until golden brown.

  • After baking, let the cake cool in the mold. Then turn over onto the palm and back onto a plate.

It should have been cookies, actually. But at one o'clock in the morning I somehow broke off to sculpt the envelopes, and I screwed up a little with the recipe (with the yolk the dough seemed a little dry to me, I added protein). In short, the result is HIGHLY delicious and tender shortbread cake !!!
