I have the hottest one - 75 (or maybe 70 too?), I wash everything on it. Glass plates and cups feel great. As do plastic dishes and containers. It is believed that high temperatures are harmful for crystal, and everything else is without problems.
Of course, if you have expensive porcelain dishes with overglaze painting, then they should not be washed in the PMM, and even then not because of the temperature (we pour boiling water into these cups), but because aggressive powders over time erase the drawing.

I'm afraid to wash something on it all the time - some of my dishes are made of glass. I washed pots on it a couple of times.
Alina, and what are you afraid of? The machine is designed not only for washing dishes, but also for disinfection using agents and high temperatures, so why be afraid? And why pots only a couple of times? If it is possible to shove the pan, then I definitely do it. The only thing is that a couple of crystal vases burst in it, but this is understandable, the crystal does not withstand a sharp temperature drop, but I hoped for "maybe" ... a negative experience is also an experience. I do not load more crystal for long modes with a change in high and low temperatures. But the glass will have nothing in it.

Alina, powder can be used instead of pemolux - for washing, sinks, for example. I did not use it myself, but I read the recommendations.

For some time now, we have switched to exclusively phosphate-free eco-friendly chemicals for the home. We have a private sector, a house with a small plot and a vegetable garden, and now we are faced with a local environmental disaster. When we were cleaning the septic tank and sewers, we saw enough of these phosphates, which in the septic tank turn into a black oily slurry of the color and consistency of freshly mined oil. And all this goes, one might say, under the feet, into the well.

For PMM, we now use only phosphate-free tablets All-in-1 Frosch (Germany), BioMio (Denmark), Vortex (Poland), and look at Domol (Germany). One of the active components in them are enzymes that are responsible for washing out protein deposits. But they are active only up to 50 degrees - they no longer work above. Therefore, I wash it only on the "EKO (50C)" mode, and everything is perfectly washed - fat, proteins, and tea with coffee in glasses. Well, a poisonous finish at 70 degrees will not completely cope with a burnt baking sheet: for soot, stronger means are required - something like Sano Forte Plus or an Amway oven cleaner.

A purely personal opinion: under pain of death, we do not use Henkel Laundry & Home Care products manufactured in the former USSR. This includes Finish and Somat. To be honest, we do not use the products of these brands at all, because, without exception, everything is hefty "odorous" and poisonous. There are tons of other products that work just as well, if not better, and not as smelly. But this is only our personal opinion, which I do not impose on anyone here.

By the way, due to the fact that products containing phosphates or phosphanites have been banned in the European Union since this year, a part of unsold phosphate products rushed from them to us. So, on the sites of advertisements for private sales (for example OLX), now you can find in abundance offers for sale in packaging or just a box by weight of various tablets for PMM of such brands that we have never heard of in our domestic market. What it is, God knows. Perhaps you can save on this, but we do not risk using such a "pig in a poke" here ...

I think that the German guys just haven't gotten ahead of themselves with the publication of fresh documentation yet. In Ukraine, phosphate-free Somat products are slowly but surely replacing phosphate ... with a barcode, completely identical to the same gel, but of the old model, that is, with 30% phosphates, and which is also on sale: 9000100971461. And here's how to treat Henkel after that? No way ... bypass ...

redleafa, all the information that is laid out here on the forum is only information for thought, and extremely subjective opinions of members of the forum, which should be treated with a healthy dose of skepticism and optimism.

Dishwashers are all different, the means for PMM are different by location of production, standards, quality, price, and availability! Therefore, there is no single register of the most acceptable dishwashers on the scale of the galaxy or a separate region of the planet "Earth". Choose your own product called "dishwashing compromise on the price and quality of washing in PMM", and then share your experience and opinion with us.

Perhaps the reviews and opinions already outlined here on the forum will allow you to make the right choice. Good luck!

Dear a month ago, I bought a used Siemens dishwasher. I have been using it for a month. I like it. Recently I messed up myself and arranged for her water in a tray. I had to disassemble for drying at the same time and took a picture so to speak how STE looks like. and I also have a question for respected specialists what such a machine can threaten me ???? model SR25E230RU machine 12 years old but sold everywhere and now

what can such a machine threaten me with? model SR25E230RU machine 12 years old
The only threat will be that it will not break for a long time. Siemens makes dishwashers of very good quality, especially if the assembly is German, like yours. Bosch makes very similar models, since these brands belong to the same office BSH Bosch und Siemens Hausgeräte GmbH, but in terms of quality we can say that Bosch is a consumer goods, inferior in quality to Siemens. So congratulations - a lucky purchase!
Our full-size SIEMENS SN25M280EU of 2010 (see the very first post in this thread) did not work under any shitty conditions: water with iron, and voltage below 150 V, and voltage drops from sawmills or welding (private sector) ... And nothing, - plows now, without hints of problems, like Karl's dad. I wish you the same!
Calipso63
oh thanks))) I chose when a lot of every g sell, I'm certainly not special, but I shoveled a few forums. Yes, and all the washing machines in the country and at my parents and we have Boshevskie love the Germans, I didn't have money for a new one for a third of the cost of a new one, I confronted my husband with the fact that we were taking this one, and that's really what they were taking her lying down and as it turned out there there was a decent amount of water in it, it flowed out, biting the current then all the rules))) but when I unscrewed the lid to dry, I looked at how it works interestingly))))) The former owners moved from the city to the cottage, and they put the building in) on the 3rd photo you can see such a thing like a snail looks like a channel before it and it itself is like a type of fat, as I understand it, they are soiled and I can not imagine how to clean it. but it all gets there just likeonly starts to drain from the beginning, as it were, then down there.

Perhaps it is worth making the machine a little prophylaxis. Or maybe it will work for another 10 years. Or drive away a special dishwasher cleaner. Your photo is small, you can't see the problem on it ...

Calipso63, Valentine, I have had a PMP for a long time, and no matter how carefully it is not to use it, anyway, it is such a unit that fat will always accumulate. But in recent years, at my urgent requests in various households. shops, at the end they began to bring a special detergent for washing the car itself. Now I don't have it in stock (to show the photo) and, unfortunately, I don't even remember the name (my friend works in the store and I don’t bother about the names, I’ll tell you what you need, she pokes her nose on which shelf to take) ... But I will say that this is a small rectangular bottle with a double liquid - transparent and blue, the price is about 200 rubles. You don't need to open the bottle, just put it upside down in an empty machine and turn it on for the middle cycle. I periodically wash the car in this way and it seems (mmm) I don't see any problems. Ask around in stores for cleaning products for PM machines. If not, ask - they will bring it because the bases have this tool, it's just that the traders are not always interested in such things, and many simply do not know. I, too, could not immediately explain what I want. Good luck!

about cleaning umm))))) after buying the machine with the finish I already cleaned it right away and we have it cheaper than 300 I didn’t see it only more expensive: girl-yes: and there is such a place that I think of nothing but removing the tank and pouring anti-fat for the lock it will not work differently, yes well, let's see, I just pour powder on the door to pre-rinse when just the water with fat does not merge, so at least the soapy one will think it will settle less

By the way, the composition of this Finish for cleaning PMM is kind of dumb: 5% or more, but less than 15% non-ionic surfactants, flavoring. Why they love him is unclear ...
For example, the composition of Domol Maschinen-Pfleger is: water, citric acid, 5 to 15% non-ionic PAR, limonene, flavor, preservatives, CI 42090.

By the way, the component CI 42090, the "Brilliant Blue" dye, is also in the Finish. This is the top blue layer painted over with this dye. But the manufacturer forgot to mention this. What else he forgot to mention in the composition - God only knows ... A dumb remedy, a dumb rasping brand ... I tried to clean the PMM with it, - I can't recommend it, because, as always: expensive and poisonous ... After him four times it is required to run the dishwasher at idle rinsing speed ...

citric acid is very harmful to rubber seals
Citric acid damages all rubber and plastic seals, making them brittle and brittle. But, firstly, there is this acid with a gulkin's nose, and secondly, with the regular use of such a remedy once every half a year, nothing from this acid with seals will happen in 2 hours of the cycle. The Germans from ROSSMAN are not quite such idiots to produce agents dangerous for PMM. And citric acid inside the PMM effectively fights all sorts of deposits ...

At the same time, the PMM will certainly drain all the water, with the product ... But this is where the thoughts end ... Sorry ...

Question: at what drain? If at the first time, then it is possible in this snail in automatic mode (for you and me this is the "auto 45-65" mode), after the soaking stage, the dishwasher determines the degree of contamination and fat content of the water in order to adjust the mode / temperature / time of washing. Girls, the top tray has stopped washing. Has anyone faced such a problem? Why should one prepare morally and financially?
