time,
Vic, congratulations on Unoldick ....
She also took it, and she was also sooo happy, a lot comes out at once, the ice cream at the exit is velvety, well, plus enough for everyone, otherwise it was always overflowing in Bork, the lower chamber had to be frozen and cleaned, in Gemlux I had to do it twice - the volume is small, but here of course a blooper ... very happy ...
I took Nastya Monday's book "Home Ice Cream" at once ..., made chocolate, also very good. liked....)))

marlanca, Galina! Thank you, mutual! Indeed, for a family of 4 adults, there is more than enough, and eat in the hunt, and freeze for future use. Let Unoldick please!

Reporting: I tested the function of further freezing. The program, although it is designed for an hour, but in fact the machine turns the whisk until the mass becomes very thick. I noticed that the stop of the whisk depends on the composition of the mixture. The fatty mixture hardened faster and the whisk stopped spinning much earlier than the end of the program. The machine allows you to stop the program at any stage. Turns less fatty mixtures all the way, that is, until the end of the program. They are softer on yield in the same period of time, especially fruity ones. If left in the ice cream after the end of the program, you can either freeze this way or extend the whisk rotation time. I did not torment the machine and did not twist it after freezing. And, after the end of the program, I kept it simple for an hour, without scrolling. The mixture grew noticeably stronger. She did not hold any more, as it was necessary to shift. In case of guests, I think this function will be useful. If, 15 minutes after the end of the program, put the second time, then the same mixture in the second run is prepared faster. Checked.

Joined the ranks of the owners of compressor ice cream makers. At first I wanted bork, but then I thought that since Nemox has one mode, then it will be enough for me. Still, Italians know a lot about this. I bought the oldest model on sale. I am very happy so far. I don’t need large portions, but she does great with small portions. The result is unexpectedly much better than from a semi-automatic. It takes 20-25 minutes per serving.

Elena, ice cream looks very appetizing! Congratulations on your successful purchase!

Elena, with the purchase !!
And please write how you make ice cream with tahini?
Cifra
Anchic, Thank you!
M @ rtochka, for a small two-hundred-gram pack of cream, a tablespoon of tahini and a little less than a tablespoon of honey. Since tahini itself is fat, next time I will try 10% cream, I think it should turn out well too.
M @ rtochka
Cifra, Thank you
I love all kinds of nuts, grains, I'll try

It turns out very sesame

I like this ice cream maker. Who has?

Gal, and what is the volume of the cups, i.e. the mixture that can be frozen? Not too small?
Cirre
Manya, Ice cream maker with 2 bowls (300 ml each). Fast cooking (15-20 minutes). 2 types of ice cream are prepared at the same time. Power: 15W.

can anyone have a similar one, I wonder how she
Anchic
Galina, these are two 150ml servings can be prepared at a time.
Cirre
Anya, simultaneous preparation of 2 portions of 100-150 gr.
2 different flavors can be cooked
At my dacha, both freezers are always occupied, but here small bowls, with a large one I had, are difficult to put. And there is nowhere to keep the freezer
Anchic
Galina, and I have a freezer in the room I take a bucket to the kitchen, pour the mixture and carry it into the room. It freezes there. Then I shift it in the kitchen I just proceed from my needs - my son can't buy ice cream from the store (allergy to cow's milk), but the child wants ice cream every day. Therefore, I make a dozen or a half servings at once and I may not remember about it for a week.
Sonadora
Gal, a few years ago from the Finns Philips ice cream maker hr2304 brought (bought in the K market). Her entire bowl is not frozen, but only a disc with refrigerant, it takes up little space in the freezer.
M @ rtochka
Galina, we have something like this:

🔗

We used it until we bought a freezer. As usual - you need to freeze the bowls, do not make 2 portions in a row.
But they took it for the action, not for expensive, the first ice cream maker), played around, realized that the right thing in the family
I never made 2 different ice creams in it, as they write ...
Cirre
M @ rtochka, Dasha, yes they are similar. Did you like it? My family doesn't really eat ice cream. For the time being, I will do this for myself, whenever I want.
M @ rtochka
If there is room in the freezer and if there is not much to do, then you can take it. How much does it cost? We were less than 3 then, if I'm not mistaken.
It is better to pour half of the bowl, then the ice cream will freeze better and the refrigerant in the bowl will not have time to melt.
Arlei
I've also been staring at the ice cream maker for a long time. Kenwood bowl is not pleasant. I read and read, everything is confused .... Does it make sense to watch an expensive one, or can you completely choose Brand 3812? Of course, I love hard ice cream, but if only there are big differences in this, then "I'll accept", for children, soft ice cream is probably better.

What do you mean by road?
After a week of daily ice cream, sorbets and yogurt of different fat content, I came to the conclusion that I really do not need regimens.
The fat on the cottage industry was so generally not even soft at all.
That is, if the brand maintains the required temperature and has enough volume, then this is a good choice.
Arlei
Just Brand 14 thousand, and all the rest are already 30, 40. For me and 14 it is very expensive. Therefore, I do not want to buy and not use a bowl like from Kenwood. I'd rather "dig" for a couple of years 😁. Well, I also want to lay the preparation on the elder son (11 years old) ... Therefore, I want additional dancing without dancing.
Cifra
Then the question is why you don't like the bowl If only because you have to carry it back and forth and freeze it, then I would buy a brand. If something else, then you have to look at what.
Arlei
Bitterness appeared in the refrigerator. Refrigerator walls, ice, food. As I get it - everything is fine, but with her it's impossible. In addition to this space, it takes up a lot and must be set in advance. Therefore, I practically did not use it, literally 4 times. 😊 Therefore, for now, we just use frozen fruits and berries on a blender, and then we grind.
Anchic
Arlei, Leila, but you can actually buy a brand? I just bought it a couple of years ago - it was already in few places in stock.
Arlei
I saw it on Ozone, so I wanted to buy an ice cream maker
Cifra
Even if there is no brand, there is his gastrorag clone for the same money.
The function of the ice cream maker is to freeze and stir at the same time. According to reviews, the brand seems to be freezing well.
Maybe it will help me to decide: when I was choosing a car for myself, I tried to find out how the younger models of compressor nemox differ from each other. It turned out nothing, only the body. In the end, I chose the oldest model, almost half the price of the current one. No regrets
Anchic
Arlei, Leila, the brand freezes normally. I will say that it is straight to solid-solid and it is not necessary - then it cannot be transferred from the bucket anywhere. And so in an hour, ice cream usually freezes well, it also depends on the fat content. It is also possible to maintain the temperature of the ice cream. The mode turns on itself, if you do not turn off the ice cream maker immediately after the end of work.
Arlei
Anchic, Anna, Cifra, Elena, Thank you ! Brand 14 thousand, Nemox 24 thousand, went to think
Miranda
Girls, such a question.
There are models with a motor on top of the cover such as Brand 11 and 12, etc.
And there are such rectangular, larger ones, there is no motor on the lid, it turns out from the side.

Which type of construction is best?
What is the plus / minus of the motor on the cover or next to it?
Before I start wanting 2-3 models and choose from them, I want to understand the differences in design, and which ones to look at. Thank you.
Anchic
Miranda, if the motor is on the side - is there an oil seal in the bucket? It can flow over time. And so - I bought the 13th model that was available Brand Wanted, because the bucket is bigger - we love ice cream. But I managed to buy only 12th.
Miranda
Anchic, I read different topics, there was something about the oil seal, but I've been circling in this section for so long that it's a mess in my head.

Do I understand correctly that the oil seal is around the pin, which is in the center of the bowl for those with a motor on the side? And those that are put on the lid have a solid bottom. Right?

Is it convenient with a motor on the lid? Can I add something along the way?
Anchic
Yes, if the motor is on top - the bucket is whole. If from the side - apparently, like in a bread maker.

There is a window for additives, but I have never used it. Theoretically, it is quite possible to fall asleep on the go, it was made for these purposes. The motor on the cover does not bother me at all. Well, maybe, if only someone is annoyed that it is necessary to remove it and then get into the mixer. There's a rectangular hole in the mixer for the motor pin. And you need to combine approximately so that the motor gets into place. I somehow do it quickly, it doesn't bother me.
Miranda
Anchic, Thank you!
Maybe someone else will write about the differences. Because I'm not sure yet.

Miranda, I'm comfortable. I first turn on the ice cream maker and then pour the mixture into the window, then chocolate chips or something else. I have Nemox, but I haven't had it for a long time, since last summer, it's time to open the season)
I won't write about the differences, because I immediately fell for Nemox after Manna posted a review on her ice cream maker
Svetlenki
Miranda, I have a motor on the side. In the bucket, such a plastic hollow tube is put on the pin in the apparatus itself, and the stirrer is on top of the tube and goes into the groove of the pin for fixing. I used the Ikeev spatula to get the ice cream out. Strains, but not much.
I am very happy, now mine are addicted to ice cream - I do it 2 times a week
Ask if there is anything else interesting
Miranda
julia_bb and Svetlenki, what models do you have?
I will google, look at them

I don't know what to ask
While studying GASTRORAG ICM-1518 1.5 liter with a motor on the lid and GEMLUX GL-ICM507 2 liter with a motor on the side. And I'm trying to figure out which one, or which construction, or in general what volume.

Miranda, I have an exact copy of the BORK E801 Ice Cream Maker, only here it is sold under the Sage brand. In any case, they look one to one - twins.

Miranda
Svetlenki, oh, I don't know how this brand is, but Bork is too expensive. I don't understand Bork any of their techniques at all. Because of the price. There, 80% of the price tag is show-off.

I have a 2-liter Unold with CU, the motor on the side is really similar to the Gemlux (only the producing countries are indicated, and that is not a fact). For some reason, I immediately liked the rectangular shape and greater power, and the 30% discount played a role. I only use it for 2 weeks, so while I'm in euphoria!
Miranda
j @ ne, they are very similar (1.5 and 2.5 liters too). I think that the instruction will work, there is a gemlux on the website. Can you take a picture of the inside without a stirrer? I can’t find anywhere on the hemlux to see what is inside. Thank you!
Belka13
Miranda, and you are not considering the Gastrorag ice cream maker? I have been searching for three years. I can’t decide either.

Are you considering the Gastrorag ice cream maker?
I am considering, of course.

Now there is such a course that with KU + delivery is more expensive than here Gastrorag or Gemlux.Well, also Brand 12 comes across on sale. Considering that I'm unlikely to go broke for 2.5 liters. super Unold, it turns out that it is better to take it here because of the guarantee.

Here for about 15-18 you can buy, but googling and 13-14. A small Gastrorag with a motor on the lid is cheaper, and a rectangular one like Gemlux is more expensive.

But I am now stuck on the moment with which motor. Because it seems to me that 1.5 liters. enough, then not the displacement argument, but the design. So I'm trying to understand, because I want a durable purchase. But with any technique, there can be a lottery out of luck.

Thank you very much! 503 and 507 are physically the same, the difference in design and liter (1.5 and 2 liters.). I think their bucket is the same in design.

By the way, those that have a motor on their side have the function of simply cooling, without stirring. According to the instructions, it can be turned on after the "ice cream" mode to make it harder. And those where the motor is on the lid - not all have just cooling.

How useful is this feature? Can it really be used for harder ice cream? Or does she just keep it cold?

I immediately put the ice cream into molds or waffle cups and put it in the freezer. I think that the "cooling" function is still only for keeping cold
Miranda
Lera-7, it seems I read in the instructions from Brand 13, they say, if you want firmer ice cream, turn on only cooling. And I read from someone that it is also for support, for example, if guests and you do not know exactly when they want to.

And here's another useful tip on the network found about Gemlux 507, but maybe it applies to 503 too.
Almost a month has passed, more than 10 kg of ice cream have been made, I used to work 3-4 times per evening. There was such a "nuance": if after washing the removable bowl, water gets into its shaft packing unit and it is not removed (just blown out) and not dried, then loud skips / squeals appear during operation. Apparently, the water freezes and interferes with rotation. For the rest, - without comment, further operation will show new pros and cons.

I'll have to try it sometime. And thanks for the helpful feedback on the network Ugh, ugh, so far this problem has not arisen. True, I only cooked two bookmarks in a row a couple of times, and tried very hard to wipe the bucket dry.
Anchic
Miranda, in my 12th model of Brand, this function turns on automatically if I did not turn off the ice cream maker with the button. I used it only once, when I had to make ice cream and take a walk with the child. I started the freeze and went for a walk. She told her husband just not to touch and not turn off anything if he beeps. And upon arrival, I simply shifted the finished ice cream into the molds. It did not become much harder, since it hardens enough in an hour for me, the mixer stops spinning. The default time is one hour, I usually don't change it - there is something to do at this time.
