Ice cream is a delicious dish especially for children, and adults are unlikely to refuse to taste it. Therefore, this book contains recipes for making ice cream and soufflé from creams, fruit and berry juices, from fresh fruits and berries.
Ice cream requires milk, cream, egg yolks, sugar, potato or corn starch. You can add vanilla sugar, crushed nuts, chocolate, cocoa powder, food paint, various fruit extracts. essences, syrups Each recipe contains a set of components.

Ice cream is cooled at home in a freezer refrigerator or in a special electric ice cream maker. If the hostess uses the freezing of the refrigerator to freeze the ice cream, then the prepared mass, the cream is poured into a bowl (tray, shape, container), in which a metal (tin) grid is placed, so that the finished ice cream is easier to decompose into portions. It is recommended that you purchase an ice cream mold from hardware stores or use an ice mold. When the ice cream has cooled to normal, it will become hard like ice. the mold is removed from the freeze and left for 1-2 minutes. stand in a warm room so that the ice cream thaws a little, then it is easier to remove it from the mold. If ice cream is placed in freeze on a tray without grates or in a bowl, then during the freezing process the mass should be stirred periodically. Ice cream gets its special taste when garnished with whipped cream or cream and waffles. The recipes in the book are extremely simple, and the set of products needed to prepare this delicious dish can be purchased at any grocery store for a reasonable price. So ice cream is within the power of any housewife, as long as there is a refrigerator at home.

If you are having some kind of celebration or waiting for guests, it is better to serve ice cream, fruit cream (soufflé) in glasses, garnished with fruits, whipped cream, syrup, raisins, chocolate. Of course, each glass is meant for one person. Of course, the most appetizing of all is to serve ice cream with fresh ripe fruits - they are more aromatic and outwardly prettier.

Just do not buy Panasonic batteries (Panasonic BH-941P), everything is fine, ice cream is prepared directly in the freezer. There is only one drawback - two batteries cost 400 rubles! That is, 5 servings of 750 grams.

They don't lie. 28 preparations - this is if you make a small portion of 250 grams and about 2.5 hours in time (I don't remember the exact alignment, you have to look). A large portion is cooked for about 5 hours.I have it completely new, not yet tested, I just bought batteries for 200 rubles each, and sat down, and I need it.

Does this ice cream maker also need to freeze the bowl?

Of course))) She's a poor thing in my basement, gathering dust, I thought I bought it in vain, and here, thanks to this topic, I was directly inspired

I dream of having an ice cream maker, but not the one where the bowl is cooled in the freezer for a day, but a free-standing unit. The infection is expensive.

Quote: Elena Bo

Yes, I also want a separate unit and so that only ready-made ice cream should be put in the freezer and not a container. On the principle of a bread machine - put it in, got it

We sell such detached DeLONGI firms. But the problem is that it can only be brought to order, and I would like to see it live. It costs a lot.
Zarina
I have the simplest ice cream maker, Crash (German), of those that are in the refrigerator for 24 hours first. But we are very happy with it. You can immediately make 1200-1400 ice cream, put it in a box - and in the freezer, eat all week. The ice cream is wonderful. But, of course, it is better to do according to recipes for the device or take it from the Internet, for example, at http.//, the "ice cream maker" section? or cooking. The bowl in the freezer does not take up much space, there are no problems, and batteries are also not needed. You can make sorbets and ice cream whatever you want.

Quote: elen @

Zarina , and you keep the bowl in the freezer all the time (I know they do it) or just put it there a day before cooking. And suddenly I spontaneously wanted ice cream or there is no place in the freezer.

It already depends on the availability of space in the freezer. I think that if your family loves this business, then you can do it all the time. It doesn't affect anything. We had this a couple of times that they didn't take it out at all. But you just can't do it right away, well, except maybe a simple something like sugar + cream + vanillin. And if it is tastier, on eggs, then you must first prepare the mixture, cool it in the refrigerator - and then into the ice cream maker. But the ice cream comes out just right! It doubles in size, no pieces of ice - pure ice cream without impurities and dyes.
SUCCESS TO YOU!

but look - what they are. Freezers are called 🔗

Do you know what confuses me about freezers? These are devices for the industrial production of ice cream and, accordingly, it will be obtained in them if you use some specific ingredients that are intended specifically for them and which will also have to be acquired in specialized places. Household ice cream makers are designed specifically for products that anyone can buy in any supermarket.

Quote: elen @

Caprice, if you order, please write how it is. Maybe I'll buy one too. Still cheaper than a separate one. Maybe this one is good.

If I order, I will definitely unsubscribe here By the way, what does "separate" mean? In what sense and from what is it separated?

Quote: elen @

A separate unit is an independent unit. You don't need to freeze the bowl in the freezer. The girls gave links to freezers. I really want one, but they are very expensive. We sell DeLongi. It costs 10,000 rubles. And the one that you showed is worth 2400 rubles. So I think, maybe I can still buy it cheaper.

In general, I do not recommend it to anyone.Trash is rare. The part that should stand constantly in the freezer (by the way, it takes up a lot of space) is not airtight. When you take it out of the freezer, the substance that should keep the cold starts flowing down the walls (such a blue homer, we don't know its chemical composition). Any desire to cook ice cream in this unit instantly disappears out of fear that this homer is poisonous. They tried to change it, but the device sent in exchange turned out to have exactly the same defect, apparently, they are all like that.
I remind you: it was Delonghi.

after all no one heard, is it a worthwhile thing? can any of your friends have? I just really want an ice cream maker, I was looking for at least a Panasonic battery all summer .. I didn’t find it .. the only thing available is this one, except for the attachment to the expensive Kenwood combine, like marishki... My harvester suits me (although Kenwood is so handsome), and I think it makes no sense to change it for the sake of an ice cream maker .. I'm begging for an ice cream maker from my husband for an anniversary .. what if you don't like it ???

Quote: Yana

Bagel, I can't say anything about that ice cream maker you indicated. Besides, it seems to me that it is heavy and very large. I have a Panasonic ice cream maker. I made ice cream in it. It turns out well. But since there is a sweet tooth in our family - I am the only one, I rarely cook in it. It suits me that she is small. If there are many ice cream lovers in your family, then the first option is probably preferable.

Maybe someone can help?

And from today I also have an ice cream maker. I got hold of an electric car Salta 3... Now we need to cook something tasty.
I don't have a container of refrigerant. I have an iron container. It is written like this - put the mixture in the container, close it. Put in the freezer for 10-20 minutes, then plug it in for 40-50 minutes. Prepares 1 kg. ice cream, working time no more than 60 minutes.
This is the Soviet Riga electric frosting machine.
There is nothing about preliminary freezing of the container. How to be?

Quote: NataliaN

In general, I am with an ice cream maker (like Elena Bo - Salta-3, Rizhskaya, release of the nth year). Of course, my first experience was unsuccessful, but let's not lose heart, I'll go to study the theory of making ice cream.

Quote: Pysanka

Natalyan, Elena Bo How are your experiments with Salta-3?
The price is ridiculous, but there is not enough space in the kitchen. Or is it better to try a Kiev woman?

Quote: NataliaN

As for me, my mother, laughing, said: "Well, why didn't you ask me? I would categorically discourage you from taking it." (She just saw Salta-3 in action back in those days - the result is zero). Well, on the positive side - her bowl is made of stainless steel from Soviet times, I hope it does not contain any impurities, I can use it as a camping bowl for nature, why should I be lost?
In general, I don’t hold any grudge against the woman who sold her to me, well, she was able to make money on the sale, without batting an eye, (I’m too decent, I don’t know how) - well done. I need to learn from her.
But in fairness, I will add, I did not make sorbets, I don’t know how they are obtained there. I played creamy and had no results. Ice cream does not freeze even in an hour.

Quote: Pysanka

I did not wait for your answer and bought the same Salta. I already changed my mind to buy, but when I called my husband, he was already in this aunt, and she lives on the 7th floor, the elevator did not work, and my husband had a cold leg, and if I even hinted that I had changed my mind ...
I can’t understand why, if there is demand, not make an offer ...

Well then, try and tell us, otherwise maybe my hands are not growing from there. Elena Bo never answered whether she made ice cream or not.

I have an old Moulinex (Moulinex) without compressor, it says "Galati" that's all.
BUT it plows perfectly.
Everything is made of plastic, except for a container for a refrigerant, it is made of some kind of alloy.

And did anyone use Ice cream attachment Kenwood AT957A to the kenwood chef kitchen machine? (this is my "idiot's dream", but there is nowhere to put it already).

Quote: Self-taught baker

And what is the principle? Just like in ordinary ice cream makers - freeze the mold, then pour the mass and refrigerate? Or in a new way - and ALL at once !! ??

There the principle of the simplest ice cream makers. For 18 hours, the form must be refrigerated.

Reporting (I have a Kenwood attachment):
The main trick (someone on the branch faced the problem of freezing the mixture) - you need to pour in the mixture when the engine is on.
Made with cream + baked milk + eggs (using the custard method, because I'm afraid of raw eggs). Ice cream was made for 40 minutes, but, in the end, it turned out to be a rather soft substance, that is, it keeps its shape, but for a very short time. I thought to put it in the freezer for a little while, and then pull it out and stir it still. But it was not there. I almost broke my shoulder blade (it freezes instantly). Therefore, I did not experiment further, put the ice cream in a box and put it in the freezer, where it was completely chilled. As a result, it turned out, of course, very tasty ice cream, but somehow it melts quickly (apparently, there are not enough thickeners, preservatives and other kaki).
Natty
No, I’m not childishly braking today: I can’t make up my mind with the model - definitely NEMOX GELATO, but MIO or HARLEQUIN?

ANSWER:

Quote: Anastasia

Then HARLEQUIN, because her bowl is made of stainless steel, it will be better for everything to slide on it when mixing, while MIO is made of aluminum, which is anyway worse than stainless steel. IMHO.

Quote: Bagel

I have a harlequin. stainless steel is not bad, taking into account the fact that you have to scrape off the remnants from the walls with the force of a spoon, it is better to let it be steel than aluminum. think of a harlequin - take one and a half liters, I am sorely lacking 1.1

Thanks for the good advice :) Let: santa: make me a present
Anastasia
Girls! I ordered myself an ice cream maker, still settled on the model NEMOX GELATO HARLEQUIN and exactly 1.1 liter. Those who still want to buy ice cream makers-PLEASE NOTE that 1.1 liters have a bowl height of 14 cm, and 1.5 liters have 18 cm! This is important, because in conventional refrigerators, the height of the freezer drawers is 15 cm and a 1.5 liter bowl may not fit!
So I had to order 1.1 liters.
And I also found out that the more expensive model
NEMOX DOLCE VITA ROSSA 1.1 is no different from HARLEQUIN except for design. And if it does not differ in those. characteristics, it may not be worth overpaying.

Quote: foxtrader

In your case, can you first try to hold the mass a little in the freezer - interfere, and then into the ice cream maker?
How long does your cold last? Or add yogurt right away.

No, in principle, I'm not complaining about mine - it freezes normally enough, and then the ice cream reaches the required condition in the freezer - that's all.
It's just that I also have a bit of soft ice cream on the bottom, but I blame this on the fact that I still don't freeze the container at the temperature it needs according to the instructions. I have only -12 degrees, but at least -18 is needed! So you need to buy a new refrigerator with a good freezer! The cold gives off very well for 20-25 minutes, then it begins to weaken slowly. But I haven't tried making popsicles yet. I will definitely try. Platypus yogurt ordered a pear one for him. Thanks for the advice!

Quote: Self-taught baker

Anastasia
I have an old Moulinex (without a compressor), so there is ice cream prepared according to all the rules (-18 degrees. As it should be during the day), it still froze for 30-35 minutes on average.
It also depends on what type of fruit is used, well, it seems that where there is more pulp, there is faster.
foxtrader
I have this:
NEMOX GELATO CHEF 2200

Quote: Anastasia

I wanted to compare my own (without a compressor) and someone else's with a compressor, after all, I understand correctly that if a machine with a compressor, then it does not need preliminary freezing in the freezer?

Yes, it has a built-in freezer. It does not require separate freezing.
But it also weighs 10kg And very big.
But there are also pluses. Any liquid mixture will eventually freeze.
Although this is the first time I have met such a strange frost. Well, I didn't want the sorbet to freeze so quickly.

To make good ice cream, place the bowl on the coldest shelf. It would be nice to know how much in degrees you have on which shelf. If the average is 15 degrees, it's already good in principle.

Ice cream maker: reviews, instructions, purchase and operation issues
Ice cream was made in the morning (I was terribly afraid, just the epic of the purchase was "a little fraudulent" and my husband was very skeptical. And even after Salta-3 is "lying on the mezzanine" with "cotton candy" in an embrace - causing my husband to make skeptical remarks 2 times a month, or even more often ....) In general, I whipped up the ingredients at home (I took your checked recipe), then, taking advantage of the mistake of father's upbringing of children, she kicked everyone out of the kitchen and quietly set everything to prepare. My cream remained liquid and I "on the sly" added some more cooking time, fearing that nothing would freeze (the same mixtures in Salta-3 remained liquid even after 1 hour of cooking in the freezer). I brought everyone back to the kitchen, had breakfast at the same time, and then I heard the long-awaited "creak" inside the ice cream maker. The stirrer stopped for a second and started turning in the other direction, then after a couple of seconds everything repeated and I decided: ALL IS ENOUGH !!! HURRAH!!!! We ate everything instantly, even regretted that I made 200ml of cream, and did not double the portion. By the way, I had exactly 400 ml of liquid after beating (this is with an egg and powdered sugar). Forgot to add time, it took me only 25 minutes.
In general, here the husband fell silent and the skeptical remarks disappeared.

By the way, actually, I wanted to order an ice cream maker from Phillips, Germany, there are even two cooking modes, but my friends did not succeed. And who could help - I don't know?

Cool! It turns out that there are so many manufacturers who make ice cream makers, but we have a whole problem finding it!

NatalyaN, and more congratulations on the first ice cream!

By the way, I am not upset about the fact that I now have a Clathronic. I see (from the pictures, and now from the reviews) that Nemox and Trissa have problems with latches (afraid to break it), but I don't have that.

Quote: Anastasia

Well, it's good that I like everything and the soul is calm about the purchase! It's so nice! On Nemox, in fact, I, for example, am not afraid for the latches - somehow I don't see a reason for them to worry, but for the whipping itself - it's plastic and flimsy. But in my opinion it is the same from other manufacturers. I think everything - why shouldn't the manufacturer make it out of stainless steel ?!

Quote: marysichca

marysichca, Klatronic has one ICM 3225
By the way, here's a link, 🔗.

The work of their Clatronic ICM 3225 and Salta-3 was ruined. (well, "rushing" me something to compare)

Both worked for an hour, since I loaded the ingredients warm in the Clatronic, it only cooled for 20 minutes, and I poured a large volume, I'm happy with the result. Well, Satla-3 worked in the freezer, it turned out that only liquid was driving.

If there is an ice cream maker available - take it, otherwise it is very difficult to find them in Kiev, I thought I would never find them at all!
If you dreamed of an ice cream maker, then you should take
If the refrigerator is not NO FROST, then it is necessary to defrost it before freezing the container, otherwise nothing will work (like I did the first 2 times), if the temperature is above -16 Measurements were carried out with a room alcohol thermometer (there is also a negative scale) for 4-5 hours, wrapping it in a bag,so that the ice does not freeze.
The ice cream maker has one drawback - inconvenient lid latches, but this is not the worst thing. You just don't have to make an effort, everything is plastic there (only the inner surface of the ice cream container is metal). I just try and try to snap it until it snaps into place First I turn on the ice cream maker, pour in the liquid, and then I start to snap the lid
But I repeat - this is not such a terrible drawback. She works and good ice cream comes out

Due to the technical impossibility of buying a full-fledged freezer, I bought a primitive Klatronikovsky ice cream for a start. And I will tell you - I wanted a freezer even more !!!!

Quote: Rina

ZHIRULKA, Thank you. Alas, the freezer is now completely beyond my means. If there is no other decision, I will buy either Tris or Clathronic (again, I will look at the situation at that moment).

It is imperative to put the ice cream bowl in the freezer while standing! There is a special solution between the walls and it should not roll on one side, so the height of the bowl is really important! And then at first, when I was just going to buy, I thought that maybe it could be stored lying down. Then when I bought it, I realized that it was impossible.

Anastasia thanks for the consultation! I didn't even think that I had to think about the height of the freezer!
Lenusya
Girls, already envied 20 times your ice cream makers. Handles are lazy.

It took 4 months out of 6 promised by the service center, waiting for an ice cream maker for the Bosch combine. I'm not losing hope.

Oh, joke was like my husband and I went to buy an ice cream on Friday Trisa Gelateria 7713... We arrived at the office itself, because they do not exhibit it in their stores - it is kind of expensive and, as we later understood, it is a single copy from them. They brought us a box - the box is as huge as from under a large vacuum cleaner, and even immediately noticed it already 3 times at least before us “looked” (the box was already sealed with such a large layer of tape from above)! They pull it out - it is so bulky, and even so uncomfortable in shape - like they have an electric foot bath one-to-one (there is less there, more). The ice cream container is so small. 500u. That is, they want for him, but the instructions (I am already silent about the book with recipes) did not even bother to translate into Russian! (by the way, abroad it costs 195-200 euros, and here it is twice as much!)
The last nail in the coffin was further away, when I asked them to turn it on - whether it works or not. The boy takes this plug and says that he cannot turn it on, that there is one problem - the plug is only for Euro sockets with three holes like that, that is, with a third earthing pin! But the problem, he says, can be easily solved (I think right now he will say to cut off the plug and screw our usual one, but no, he was more original) - cut off the third grounding pin !!!! I wonder how they would give me warranty service later, or would they take and change the goods within two weeks?
In the end, he offered to buy a homemade adapter for such plugs at the Karavaev dachas! This was the last straw. We turned around and left. Well, this ice cream maker is not worth 500u. That is, by any criteria (even their discount for us did not help them to die of it).

We will wait until the Nemoksovskaya Profi with a freezer appears - even if it is much more expensive, but on the other hand! And yesterday I spat and bought an ordinary Clathronic. I watched little Trissa live before her, and so Trissa is resting compared to Klatronic! Klatronic well done! He has a bigger bowl and without flimsy clamps, and a whisk much more serious, and even a stand for the condensate and rubberized legs at the bowl - it does not slip! She really delivered 545 UAH. not worth it, but it's not a pity to give this money for it! (by the way, on another site you can order it for 378 UAH - a red price for her!)

And if someone wants to look at it live and touch it - here is a store on Poznyaki -

Checked it out.
The first time I set the timer for ~ 3 minutes, then the ice cream maker turned off. And the second time I set it for ~ 4 minutes, and the ice cream maker turned the mixer for about 7 minutes. I turned off the timer myself, the instructions say that you can.
Probably, can not the timer be set for a very short time?

ANSWER:

Quote: Hairpin

I don't have a timer ... I don't even know if I need one ... I sit over an ice cream maker until the engine starts coughing. Then I turn it off. And to predict exactly when the ice cream will thicken ... I understand that if it thickens a lot, and the motor is not turned off, then either the blade will break (I have it made of plastic) or the motor will burn out ...
It seems to me that the timer will not be needed ...

Who else has such an ice cream maker, tell me, please, how your timer works.

Quote: marysichca

Turns off by timer

Well, and what to do (mine does not turn off, and even the handle does not turn in the opposite direction)? But, I think, maybe so be it, reluctance to part with the ice cream maker.

Quote: marysichca

But how does it turn on ??

Turns on as usual. I turn the timer knob clockwise, and the blade immediately starts rotating. But, then the handle does not rotate in the opposite direction, and after a specified time the ice cream maker does not turn off. I myself turn the handle to its original position, and the scapula stops.

Quote: marysichca

Can't you hear the ticking of the clockwork?

Nooo! What should be ticking ?!

Quote: Hairpin

Queenie! Everything seems to be cool with you, except for this unfortunate timer !!! Well, Anastasia and I live without him at all!

Quote: marysichca

This means problems with the clockwork. My sales are ticking without 220

In principle, I am not confused by a timer malfunction. The main thing is that this does not affect the operation of the motor.
Can we have a specialist on the forum who can give advice?

Quote: marysichca

The motor is an electrical part, and the timer is mechanical, with only one contact for turning the motor on and off. That is, it does not.

marysichca , thanks for the consultation .
I think it was not in vain, deep down I understood this, and I was not upset.

I want to ask you... who makes ice cream how often? Interest is not sports, but practical - I think how can you get fat on ice cream with regular use ?! I'm afraid, but I still want an ice cream maker

ANSWER:

Quote: Hairpin

I - once a week. But I work ... If I sat at home, I would do it more often.

If you cook and absorb kilograms of ice cream, then, I think, the wardrobe will have to be changed. And I want to join ice cream ... moro ... homemade ice cream makers for a very simple reason. Well, I don't trust our industrial ice cream. I think a lot has been said here about all kinds of preservatives, dyes, flavorings. Moreover. I am not at all sure that the ice cream that is being sold was stored in appropriate conditions. Summer is coming soon, how many times will ice cream in stores thaw and freeze again?

Quote: Qween

mish, do not get better!
If someone had told me before that I wanted an ice cream maker, I would not have believed it.
I've been making ice cream for so many years, even when there was no ice cream maker yet. I didn't eat it at all before, but now I'm making up for it. As I was 45 kg, I stayed.
Here, for example, ice cream made from homemade yogurt and fruit puree, plus a drop of sugar - just a solid diet.
Where can you buy such yummy. Yes, nowhere!
And strawberry-raspberry-apricot-cherry soon. Hooked?
Summer is coming soon! Relatives will say THANK YOU!
I can still go on, for those in particular who doubt it.
larimari
Well, here, and I want an ice cream maker! And again the eternal question: which one and WHERE to buy?
fugaska
oh how I wanted to buy an ice cream maker !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have never seen in Odessa, but I was looking for something ...
Qween
If one of ours needs an ice cream maker, then write to me in the PM.
fugaska
owners of the CLATRONIC ice maker, tell me pliiiz, how is it in terms of reliability? otherwise I was just about to order it, but I read Temka at first and worried about it ... it's one thing when you buy in a store around the corner, but it's completely different when in another city ... where then to run for service?

Quote: Qween

fugaska , a warranty card is available, indicating the service centers. In Odessa there is, if necessary, I will write the address later.
Snezhana
Who has the Clatronic ice cream maker? A huge request, tell me the dimensions of the bowl and everything else separately .. I need to check if this thing will fit in my freezer?!?! THANK YOU
Qween
Snezhana, only the ice cream bucket must be frozen. It must be placed vertically, that is, as a saucepan. The bucket is 15 cm high and slightly wider.
Snezhana
Qween thanks for the answer
Pugovka

Jefry
AAA! I also want to! Sign me up !!! Today, for the first time this year, I bought ice cream produced by "Shishol", which used to be of very high quality, as it is made on modern equipment according to German technology (and most of it went there). And then the taste became somehow incomprehensible ... ugh !!!
Pugovka
A dear mine (sorry I don’t know the name yet, if I’m Tanya) how through Dnepropetrovsk? and I don't really trust the technique with 7, although maybe in vain

I'm not a Fugasca, but can I put in 5 kopecks?
I have Klatronic from Dnepropetrovsk and from the 7th kilometer "Tritosha", thanks to your compatriot Olenka, everyone works, although they freeze in different ways, but then you can keep it in the freezer (there will be no crystallization, so it's not scary) - I'm talking about an ice cream maker from the 7th kilometer. Olya and I have been tormented for weeks in thought and experiment - which is better. They passed each other back and forth until I decided to have 2 pieces at all.
Here, I boasted (my hands are grabbing - everything is not enough for me ...)
Pugovka
Thank you Natalya, but you can take a photo of Tritosha (or is this the name of the store)
NatalyaN
That's for me shuska I bought, so I don't know where exactly on the 7th the shop is located. And I still can't take a photo, she hasn't given me an ice cream maker (mine), only next week. I can only give a link to one of the experiments in two ice cream makers

Photos 2 and 3 are the quality of Klatronic's freezing, and 1, 4 and 5, respectively, are Tritoshi.

Today my order (Clatronic) arrived from Dnepropetrovsk. After the weekend start experimenting. It's a pity that Panasonic has stopped making ice cream makers. They are cool - it is not the bowl that freezes, but the entire unit is put in the freezer and works there. True, they say that on batteries one could go broke

About Panasonic, we had reviews on the forum, really, in cold conditions the batteries run out very quickly, a rather bulky device, not for every refrigerator. For some reason I didn't want Panasonic at all. But when all these ice cream makers appeared, I really wanted just this one, with a freezing bowl.
Rina
Anastasia, Thank you. All the same, you can't get the Panasonic anymore. It’s me so ... teeth clicking
