Good day!
I ask for help in choosing this unit ... for a lot has been re-read and I still cannot decide.
Background: The Redmond MC90 multicooker has worked perfectly for 5.5 years. Now we urgently need to buy it instead. Once buying a new unit, then let it be a multicooker-pressure cooker.
What exactly we will cook: milk porridge, pilaf, soups, cottage cheese casserole, side dishes (buckwheat, rice), maybe our hands will reach yogurt. Also, sometimes an insert was used for the "second floor" of cooking or heating cutlets). Maybe, having a pressure cooker, new dishes will come)))
I liked several options, but I found such disadvantages:
  • Redmond RMC-PM380 - as I understand it, the silicone seal on the lid absorbs odors; to bleed off the steam, you need to stand nearby for a few minutes and keep the valve pressed ...
  • Tefal CY621D32 - but it is not clear how baking in a bowl with a round bottom ... how to get it, how much it will bake ... it is not clear how well it cooks milk porridge; to release the pressure, you also need to stand nearby and hold the button for several minutes; there are reviews that steam breaks through the valve during cooking ...
  • Moulinex CE500E32 - absorbs odors of the cover O-ring; no preliminary shutdown of auto-heating after cooking; the metal lid is warming up, and somehow you don't like it ... it's not explainable))
  • Redmond RMC-PM400 (401) - Teflon bowl, manual pressure release ...

Since I did not use these units myself, I cannot say how real these disadvantages are.
Can you please tell me what to opt for?
