I cooked them for a long time, more than a day. First I made the filling, then I left the dough in the refrigerator overnight, and the next day I started baking in two steps.
After a night in the refrigerator, the dough disappointed me: cold, some kind of plasticine, smelling awful like fermented yeast. Was upset. She splashed it in a bag on the table and dripped to sleep.
In about 1.5 hours, the dough straightened out, warmed up, cheered up and made me happy with wonderful pies. The dough itself after warming up turned out to be very wonderful: soft, lively, and completely non-sticky to the hands.

Made one big cabbage pie - the best option by a wide margin compared to previous attempts (my own and others')
The dough was made exactly according to the recipe, no additional flour was needed (if anyone is interested: German flour Typ 550, a bag of dry yeast from Dr. Oetker, sat in the refrigerator for 1.5 hours)
