Ingredients

Rabbit carcass 1 piece
Onion 2 heads medium
Carrot 1 medium
Salt pepper

Cooking method

I want to bring to your attention the simplest and most accessible in all respects recipe for stewed rabbit.

Take a rabbit carcass, cut it into pieces, I don't like very small ones.
Fry in vegetable oil over high heat without a lid on both sides until golden brown, about 7 minutes on each side. Salt. Pepper a little.
Then add boiling water so that the rabbit pieces are about a little more than half hidden. Reduce heat and simmer for 1.5 hours.
Top with the onion, cut into large cubes and the carrots, cut into strips. Do not stir. Simmer for another half hour.

The meat is soft and aromatic! Bon Appetit!

It turned out tasty, juicy, soft. I did everything strictly according to the recipe, but added potatoes along with onions and carrots. Next time I will try to marinate, like on a barbecue, to make the meat brighter in taste.
