It looks like the topic is divided into cherry lovers and non-lovers! It's time to create different branches!
By the way, cherry smells very well to me!

By the way, why are you messing around without me ?!
Radushka
Svetlana, and you do not go into your topic !!! I wrote to you there a long time ago!

Radushka, I go about a hundred times a day! Nobody ... But as soon as I turned away, you were right there! Tricky

When I added cherries to the boxes, I was upset that I ruined everything. And by itself, she turned out to be nothing

Hello girls! Today I put a mix of raspberries 40% for fermentation, ivan tea from the last batch -30%, apple-20%, and a little bit of black currant and plum. Twisted 2 times, with the second scrolling the granules seemed to be nothing, they were strong. And the smell was - just Ah !!! I will dry it in the evening. Within Temptation. I also want to make a pear-raspberry mix this week on Radushka's advice. There isn't enough time for anything else. Home-work-twists-forest. And the whole package of Ivanushka is in the fridge, I want to mix it with something, too, until I come up with something. And today Ivanushka brewed a month ago 10 hours of fermentation. Well, very tasty to me !!! Although I generally like all teas.

Girls, do you think Vanechka will learn anything with grapes, or come up with something else. And then I just need to cut the grapes. Or something else to add there?
Likar Nadiya
Good afternoon everyone! And so the report on peach is mono. The tea turned out to be rather dark and transparent. The smell is almond, light. But here's the taste .... bitter bone. Drinking is not very pleasant
Elena Kadiewa
Last year, someone made a peach and were not happy either.
Tatka1
Something here is suspiciously quiet today))
Victoria, in your schedule there is a daily forest))) I envy))) I will not advise Ivanushka, I will lick the current on him, I have not a single gram of it.
And today I picked pear, peach, raspberry leaves. I'll add some sucker to them and make a mix.
Likar Nadiya
Twisted the dogwood. The smell is pleasant with grape sourness. My observation is that the leaves are similar in quality to currant, dryish. After the first linking, the granules were loose and crumbly. After the second one is denser, let's see what happens.

Tatka1, do you add a lot of peach to your mixes? otherwise I didn't like the taste at all ...
Lutik
Reporting on Basil Tea! although the basil is there 60g. You scared me! But the tea is super! The color is normal, tea, the taste is awesome! Composition-mixture of blackthorn, cherry, pear and apple-500g. zyzyfus-110gr. raspberries-210, marigolds, flower heads-125, basil-60, mint 120. About the taste, there is a chill in the mouth and a slight tingling, slightly bitter but does not spoil the taste! I will definitely repeat!
Tatka1
Likar Nadiya, Nadyush, for the first time I picked a peach while it is dried. 10-15 percent of the whole mix, that's why I didn't take much after the reviews, which is bitter.
Lutik, well, you have a grimuchy mixture in the second))) class! what a fine fellow you are that you are not afraid to experiment)))
Lutik
Tatka1, Super-honest pioneer tea! I will continue to experiment!
Likar Nadiya
Tatka1, well, yes, it tastes like spurge

Well, not daily, of course, but I really love the forest, there are a lot of mushrooms, but almost all of them are wormy, it's hot .... Although last week I collected 3 buckets of white mushrooms. I fiddled for a long time, but it's worth it.
Drying the morning mix - the smell is awesome! I'll go write a label so as not to forget what I stuffed there
Tatka1
Good morning everybody! Yesterday a friend came and brought a herb (bought in an eco shop) - stevia.
Stevia Rebaudiana Bertoni (bifolia sweet) is a unique South American perennial plant of the Asteraceae family. The stevia herb itself is 30 times sweeter than sugar, and the diterpene glycosides (steviosides) that make up the herb exceed the sweetness of ordinary sugar by 300 times, and are absolutely calorie-free. Therefore, stevia today is the only natural natural calorie-free sweetener. This unique plant contains various mineral compounds, vitamins, essential oils, amino acids, pectins, etc. It contains substances that in the human body play the role of building materials for the production of hormones.

I don't need sweetness in my tea, well, sometimes I put honey in my bed, but my friend loves sweet. I put 3 leaves on the cup. Really sweet tea turned out.

Added Thursday, 04 Aug 2016 07:27

Likar and provizori, expensive! Your opinion: what about its benefits / harms?
Likar Nadiya
Tatka1, I recently came across an article about sugar substitutes. Stevioside / steviol was found to be the most harmless of all listed there. Information about stevia is controversial. In the 80s, studies have revealed its mutagenicity in rats. Then they found the data unreliable. Now they have revealed its positive properties in diabetic patients and in the treatment of hypertension. In Japan, China, it is grown almost on an industrial scale. So far, more good than bad has been discovered in her.

I did it with cherries. Bitter tea turned out. I threw it away.
Tatka1
Yes, the trouble with the peach ... I sent my leaves into the freezer in the morning after drying. So, I heard enough and chose all the peach ones, threw them away. I don’t want to risk it, I already have a little tea, I didn’t have enough to be disappointed in the taste.
Radushka
TatyanaDid you drink coffee with a fresh leaf? This peach for coffee was praised!
Tatka1
Oh, Radushka, that well it))) as for coffee, here I am bad) my love for him and only for him. I don't like to add anything to it (experimented, not impressed)
Radushka
TatyanaI like to experiment with coffee. Salt ... cinnamon ... cardamom ... black pepper ... I would add a peach leaf ... But, I don't have it and I don't expect it

Girls! Good day!
I also respect medicine. But anything can happen. So in the antenatal clinic, a pregnant woman was advised to drink parsley. Etc. And the Internet periodically lies and agrees with this.
In defense of mountain ash, I can write that no one here wrote about the harm from it. The most critical review was "There is no use there, but only bitterness." And bitterness does not bother everyone. In the recipe for rustic tea on this forum, mountain ash is one of the ingredients.
Likar Nadiya
lily, you were most likely prescribed parsley to prevent pyelonephritis in pregnant women. There is such a drug Nefrokea, it is made of parsley and cranberry, but nevertheless, it is a medicine. So as not to stuff pregnant women with pills, doctors are spinning)))

My pear is now drying in the oven) there is a pleasant smell of apples))
I started trying the teas that I made in July, it’s very interesting what happened, I just brewed a cherry and a peach, the other day. I liked the raspberries, the cherry does not smell bad. But it seems to me that I overexposed them during fermentation, they somehow give off with narrow leaves. The last teas I send are dried earlier, only the smell is immediately in the oven.
lily_a
With caution, parsley-based drugs should be taken in the presence of pregnancy and only in small quantities and for a short time. For it provokes a miscarriage.
And I have a situation: chronic renal failure, but at the same time, 31 years old, the first and very desirable pregnancy. Why should I provoke a miscarriage?
For tea. I was in the village, I found fireweed (ivan tea). Made it, the owners had to leave the tea from the leaves (then I took a packet of leaves with me) So they liked it. If they themselves didn’t see what you were doing out of grass, they wouldn’t believe it.It looks like an ordinary black tea, but the grandfather and grandmother of hypertensive patients - they cannot have strong black tea.
Fuzzy 240g brought with me. They didn't like the color. But they didn't have time to try.

Likar Nadiya
lily_a, I am not a gynecologist, of course, but also a doctor. During pregnancy I was prescribed Nefrokea (parsley). And the doctor spoke, and I read about him - almost the only uroseptic drug that is prescribed without fear to pregnant women. But everything should be asked from the attending physician.

I tried to brew a pear. Blackening granules (!!!), dark transparent tea. Subtle scent of duchess. The taste is weak, barely perceptible sweetness, I think it will be better in a month. And I poured the dogwood into storage, I did not try it, even if it would stand for a week.

Nefrokea
table, no. 20
1 tablet contains: active ingredients: cranberry extract (Vaccinium macrocarpum) - 250 mg, vitamin C - 100 mg, celery seed powder (Apium graveolens) - 25 mg, potassium citrate - 50 mg, powder of herb and leaves of watercress (Nasturtium officinale ) - 25 mg, parsley leaf powder (Petroselinum crispum) - 25 mg, vitamin B6 - 5 mg; auxiliary substances: microcrystalline cellulose (E 460), stearic acid, magnesium stearate.

That is, less than 5% parsley. Did I count correctly? And this is probably not the same as a decoction of parsley instead of tea? Unless, of course, I am not a doctor, not a pharmacist, not a pharmacist. You know it better somehow.
,
Tatka1
Likar Nadiya, Nadyushka, well, you're strongA!) I would brew it right there)))
Likar Nadiya
lily_a, everything is correct. After the course, my test indicators improved to normal. I repeat, ask your doctors about the prescribed treatment.
Deviated from the topic of tea)))

Tanya, I have been using stevia for 20 years, and I am still very much alive!
Japan is the largest consumer of stevia in the world. I guess they are not fools there, they have the highest life expectancy ...
Likar Nadiya
Tatka1, oh, I'm not strong, Tatyana .... I walked around the cupboard with tea for half a day today, could not stand it, I brewed a dogwood. Well, it's not very bad. The color is dark with a green tint. Smell as during fermentation - grape leaves. The taste is immediately weak herbaceous, but as soon as it cooled down, the taste of dogwood began to be guessed and it was somewhat similar to black tea. How it will stand should get better
Tatka1
Likar Nadiya, the fact that the taste is weak, it will do for me))) So I'll go beg for leaves))) If possible, pictures of granules

Try it first, it has a peculiar sweetness, not everyone likes it. Although I always add it to my teas! Delicious to me!
In baking, I like stevioside or fructose more, but in tea only a leaf!

did not miss. I have a strong allergy to chili. A bit of cocoa is better)))
I like ginger in all forms. But, not with coffee

Girls and boys, I'm with a report! Yesterday was creative, I did
1. fireweed (last harvested, therefore old) fermentation 16 hours
2. "fluffy" fermentation for 14 hours
3. Mix of fireweed-raspberry-apple-tree-plum-black currant. fermentation 7 hours
All flavors are twice rolled through a meat grinder on a large wire rack. Drying with frying.
The color of the granules is in the same order:
one . Vanechka has the darkest, well-formed, there is little fine fraction in dried tea.
2.Fuzzy's granules are light, do not keep their shape well, there is a lot of fine fraction
3. In the mix, the granules were poorly formed the first time, after the second scrolling they are more pronounced, the fine fraction is more than that of fireweed, but much less than that of Fuzzy.
Jars in order:
Fermented tea made from leaves of garden and wild plants (master class)
All teas were brewed at the rate of 2 teaspoons of tea leaves per glass of boiling water, the tea was brewed for 20 minutes.
Fermented tea made from leaves of garden and wild plants (master class)
1. The color is the darkest, transparent, the color of the usual tea tea, the aroma of dried fruits, the taste is tart.
2. The color is reddish, transparent, the aroma is probably closer to floral, the taste appeared with a slight sourness, a little astringent.
3. The color is lighter than that of the first two, but tea-like, transparent, in the aroma most of all are caught raspberries and Ivanushka, I don't feel the rest, the taste is soft, not so intense.
It is clear that so far nothing is clear, in an amicable way you need to try in a couple of months, or even in half a year, but how not to taste freshly dried ones, where can you get such a patient?
And this is all I did yesterday:
Fermented tea made from leaves of garden and wild plants (master class)

PS: I apologize for the second photo, I could not turn it over.
Lasto4ka
Victory me, here is a clever girl! And I somehow "quieted down" with tea, I canning more. We urgently need to pull ourselves together and pick apple and cherry trees!

So guys, we're on the right track ...

I have a question. And whoever did heather?

Added on Friday 05 Aug 2016 08:19

Throw in your slippers.
Today I'm trying the last of the mountain ash teas. It's been a week of dry fermentation.
blackberry 50% mountain ash 50%
No buckwheat! The color is very dark. The taste is more like regular black. But softer. No rustic fruitiness. I can't write about the smell yet. Allergy.

Quote: lily_a

Here I sit and try 43% red-fruited mountain ash, 43% raspberry, 13% cherry (so that at least a little granules were), 3% strawberry (I attach tails). Rowan and cherries and raspberries muted. Bitter tea. The color is deep dark (lighter than pear or geranium). Delicious! I will repeat.

Quote: lily_a

I sit trying: red-fruited mountain ash 50%, currant + cherry 50% (approximately 25% each). No dry fermentation yet. Interestingly, the cherry is not dominant. It seems to me that the mountain ash was written off early. The taste is certainly peculiar. Slightly bitter. But sometimes I definitely want it. And I will do it. Like meadow geranium - not every day for me. Light color.
Likar Nadiya
lily, a very interesting mixture. And what does geranium look like? Otherwise I know where to type it (next spring)

Added on Friday 05 Aug 2016 08:43

Yesterday I brewed mint - just dried and oxidized, like here in the recipe. The color of the oxidized one is better, but the taste and aroma of the simply dried one is much more "mint". Maybe oxidized should ripen like tea?
Radushka
Likar Nadiya, Hope, geranium was too "strong" for me. And it tastes bitter. Perhaps I just put in a lot when brewing. I did not feel a special taste and aroma. Although, Zachariah did not deviate from the recipe (almost). Well, he did it with stalks, and I only made of leaves. It looks like strong black tea. By color - "you can paint the boots". I added 1/13 part to my mix "July-top of summer". At the first try, I did not feel her bitterness. Today I will pour it into storage and brew it again.
Tatka1
Radushka, did you notice that there is a dash in the table opposite the raspberry?)))) here they are strange ...)))
Likar NadiyaI have dried mint leaves from last year. They have such a strong aroma like menthol gum. Very pronounced. And my granulated mint smells different, but also good. And it's been a month for sure. The smell is definitely changing for the better.

And opposite the cherry !!! They don't know how to make these teas!

Tatka1, Tatyana, noticed. She laughed.
By the way, my granulated mint smells much better than just dried leaves! Such a ... candy smell. Not harsh.

They don't even use carrot tops! And here, and we, and they ... and we!
Lutik
And I also fry my mint! Delicious and the smell remains. It is a pity that no one paid attention to the marigolds, there is no smell, but it gives a chill in the mouth, well, very interesting!
Radushka
Lutik, Nina, are you talking about flowers, petals or leaves?
Tatka1
Oh, girls! I tried all my mixes, for my taste those with raspberries win. Narvala leaves different for the mix, freeze. They promised to bring in raspberries over the weekend, I will add. I also became a victim of raspberries, but not mono for some reason. Now I'm finally convinced of this)))
