Girls-boys, I also want to join your ranks of MUM 8 fans ... The eye lies to the side
86th, but we were tormented by questions (not a cheap purchase all the same). Maybe someone can help me decide ... At first I wanted the 56340th, but I saw a dough roll at the "eights" (and I have sick hands with a rolling pin), and the motor is much more powerful, which should have a better effect for a steep dough, and I also liked the glass blender (and why only one model has it like this? Why is plastic better, except for weight?) So, help, who knows what:
Does the blender make cocktails evenly or do you need to shake for uniformity?
Pts. Is it difficult to wash a blender after pancake dough, liver pate?
With this power, can you load frozen fruits into a blender, or is it better not to risk it?
At the dough sheeter, what is the maximum web thickness at the exit and how many positions of the thickness switch are there? And it will bring it closer. What is the width of the web (it is clear that it is uneven, but in general terms ...)?
Do not screw the cube cutter to the "eights"? Actually, I want a new cube Philips HR1669 / 90. Can anyone have it, tell me: cut vegetables with discs on what you like best - on Boshik or Filipka? That is, does it make sense to buy cutting devices for Mumik, or will Filya cope?
Are the plastic whisk attachments really flimsy? How do they withstand such hook-loads? Anyone has nib. broke down? In general, anyone. I have already repaired G8s: the engine is dead there or something else (t-t-t, of course). By the way, after kneading a tough dough, how hot is the base of the hook (when you take out the nozzle)?
Thank you if someone wants to answer such boring meticulousness ...

Nine positions, the width is about 13 cm, but in general, how to direct the dough, this width will be. Conveniently, on a cutting board to form products directly. I did not measure the maximum thickness, as it was not necessary. I beat the cocktail on a blender, shake nothing. It turns out great. I made fresh fruit, but I didn't dare to risk the icy fruits, they melted a little, only then I threw them into the blender. Maybe someone tried it, but I read somewhere that it is impossible, maybe not in this model, but I did not dare. I enjoy using both multi-mixer and sharp (when I need a lot). On a salad with a disc with a shredder, I cut a cucumber, celery stalks along the length, great! The tomato is crumpled. And carrots, beets with another disc. It's great to chop cabbage. On Berner, it does not work out that way, with a lot of leftovers left for me, the holder does not really manage to hold it. The hook does not heat up after kneading hard dough. It is convenient to wash the blender, if anything, you can get it with a brush with a long bristle under the knives.

I wish you a speedy recovery and really want to know your feedback on rolling. Get well.
Thank you! Has recovered already. I have already rolled out the dough. Even a little sticky, softish did not stick to the rollers. I rolled the maximum at 7ke - already transparent layers are obtained. Now another problem ... how to dry these layers for lasagna so that they do not warp? I have them bend and curl up as they want.
Alenky
Hello!!! Tell me where in Ukraine you can buy a lasagne attachment? She called all the shops, even where she allegedly is not available! Can someone tell me!
Olex
Girls, is the dough rolling machine only suitable for mum8, or perhaps for other models too? And what is the maximum dough thickness in mm. Thank you.
Nat_ka
only suitable for mum 8 series

on the test they wrote:

you never know what they write, you have to try it on, for my 56340 I bought a disc-julienne for mum 8, as for mum 5 I did not find it on sale. And I want to say that discs for mum 5 and mum 8 are similar in size and seat, but the difference in price is significant. Bosch just makes money on a more expensive model.

I wonder if the cutter nozzle will fit or not

Someone wrote that it does not fit
It's strange why, in theory, if the disc fits, then the nozzle should fit ... but it's a pity
Alenky
I also raised the issue of a cube cutter, but they wrote that 5 and 8 have different fasteners, that is, the cube cutter is attached to the same place as the universal cutting, and in these combines the fasteners seem to be different, check the very possibility, if friends had mum5, it was possible to measure the universal cutting, then it would be definitely understandable !!! And the discs themselves are suitable for 4.5 and 8.
lemusik
Dear girls, tell me - what is the volume of the multi-mixer bowl? I have MUM 5, but their multi-mixers are probably close in size?

1 liter

Is this the full volume? It will not be enough (((

Thanks for the information!

Hello everyone! I’m a newbie, take it into the ranks of the owners of the chudomum)) and immediately the question is, the nozzle for the cream is only attached to me without this gasket, or is there something wrong with my combo ??? The hook and kneader fit perfectly, but this one itself has a different skeleton ... shorter and thicker .. Sorry, if you didn't find the information, but she is, I read everything!

Everyone has
Sandy
When I just bought it, I made yeast dough, and I forgot to put this rubber band under the hook, so the dough wound on the hook and climbed inside, I cleaned everything up where I could climb ... and nothing works
Natal_la
I bought all the attachments at the service center, except for the meat grinder (I took it along with the combine). On the holidays, I made a huge pile of dumplings and dumplings, and rolled the dough with the help of a dough sheeter - I got great pleasure, how great! This time my men did not help me, but I didn't really need it with my harvester (but very actively absorbed everything later).
1Guly
And for the New Year holidays I grinded minced meat and fish, several kg, I would twist it for the whole day, then knead it on a kneader, made cutlets, cabbage rolls, rolled the dough on a lasagna nozzle, made chebureks and dumplings, but in the cold, but now it's beautiful , come home from work, quickly cook dinner and go to your computer, read Temki on the Bread Maker
Natal_la
I agree, I get direct pleasure from the work of this miracle technique. Last weekend I twisted 10 kg of meat at once, I don't bother with less. I even have some other sour cream with these attachments. And I also bought additional discs for universal cutting, I really like a disc for making potato pancakes, finely grated carrots. The most disgusting thing on a regular grater is a fine grate, and now everything is done by Mumik.
Luna_
Well that's it! Now I am with you too. Thanks to the forum and all of you for your feedback. I bought the truth MUM 86. The 84th was out of stock, but if you wanted to, there was nothing to stop us. I have not bought any attachments yet, I have not yet understood what I need. I tested it right away on the noodle dough, I coped with a bang, what kind of dough it was, I just wouldn't knead it with my hands. Question to the owners of the dough sheeter. I need the dough to be rolled out thinly thinly. I have a hand rolling Atlas-150, it rolls very thinly, it suits me. Mom asks for the same. So I'm thinking of giving her mine, and buying myself a nozzle? Or just buy her the same.
Natal_la
I also did not use the manual one, but this one suits me very much, the noodle dough rolls thinly, not to mention the dumplings. I like!

I have MUM86 and there is a rollout for it. It's just a dream, especially after handcrafted (albeit Italian). Be sure to take a nozzle. Just remember that you need an adapter if you do not have a meat grinder attachment with an adapter.
Babushka
Quote: Luna_

Thank you. So we must take it. If only I could find something else, so that without the crazy delivery of half the price to the nozzle.
The tip and adapter are heavy - metal I am very satisfied.
Natal_la
Rolling out with delivery cost me 3200 rubles, and I bought the adapter earlier.
Natali06
I also have in my kitchen such a miracle as bosh84, to my regret, I do not have a great friendship with him I do not argue, he is a great helper (meat grinder, cutting vegetables, multi-mixer, everything is super), but here's a bowl ... proteins, which we see in all cooking shows, I did not succeed. Maybe someone from the owners of this combine will answer what is the minimum amount of proteins that can be whipped in it, until stable peaks?
NatalyMur

You can even beat 1 protein - you need to lower the whisk a little. At the bottom of the combine there is a special key (there is also information about it in the description of the combine), take it out and slightly lower the whisk for whipping with the key. After that, cool a small amount.

I want to add a whipping time. It won't beat normally in a minute or two. Much longer. Be guided by the mass on the rim. If it does not merge, but keeps its shape, then everything is ready.
Natal_la
Yes, it takes much longer to beat the protein than with a conventional mixer, but it seems to me that it somehow looks different, more airy or something. Maybe this is just my subjective opinion.
Nat_ka
Quote: Natal_la

Exactly. Today I whipped 6 proteins "Air Snickers" did. Everything was ready in 6 minutes.
Luna_
And maybe another thing. Before Bosch I had a separate container, where I whipped only whites, and here is one bowl and I do everything in it, and I beat mashed potatoes with butter and minced meat for cutlets. Therefore, mine is very careful. For proteins, after all, a little fat will get in and that's it, you can't beat it anymore.
Natali06
girls, thank you all very much for not leaving me in trouble And then I thought that I had bought such a big one in vain (and I dreamed, oh, how long) I would try, otherwise I clamp the mixer in one, the blender in another and create, create ...
Natali06
Girls, I have such a question, has anyone ever met a plastic cup to the 84th?

Hello forum users. I have a request - take a picture of the socket where the universal adapter to poke, please. I’m asleep and see how I’m rolling on Mum 5 with rolling. Hochunimagu. Thanks a lot, helped a lot. the connectors seem to be the same, but the mounting methods are different. I also have a border on the side, for which the entire structure is clamped, such an L-shaped, and here the adapter on the screw is on the side. sadness. boom think further

I recently came across a consultant Boshevsky in one of the household appliances stores. She began to torment him with questions about the cube cutter as well) Since I still choose combos myself and I'm interested in everything about them))) So he said that a cube from 5 to 8 would not work for anyone, but Bosch fly is going to release a cube for the 8th series))) So we are waiting)))
Sandy
What good news, we will wait, I would definitely buy a cube

Mum 86R1 came to me. The impressions are mixed. For a long time I chose between Kitchen Aid, Bosch (5th and 8th series) and Kenwood (KM020). Kenwood really, really wanted, but it's too expensive to get it in Belarus, and a large customs duty comes out of Europe by mail. I bought a Bosch mum 86 R1, that is, in the basic configuration, just a kneader, everything else is bought in addition. From the pros: the car is a beast. It's scary to use it. I kneaded a tight dough on a stollen made of 1.5 kg of flour, kneaded without problems and without even straining. Whipped sour cream with a bang. In general, for the kneader - test. The blender is super powerful too. Since there are no shredders yet, I will not say anything about them. The harvester looks very stylish. The metal body inspires awe and confidence. This is where the pros end and the cons begin. The only normal plastic is the lid, everything else is just awful. Fortunately, there is still not so much of this plastic (lid on the bowl, blender lid, blender bottom, plugs, well, speed adjustments, but there are no complaints about them) It does not seem to strike the eye, but how you start to consider (((Cast poor quality, some kind of clumsy all. And this is for such money. The plugs are also flimsy. In the blender it is very, well, just very hard to put the lower part, since the part is molded badly and enters the groove with great difficulty, I think it's a marriage. Without a husband unscrew and assemble it does not work (although in principle you can assemble once and not disassemble, but wash like this, without the bottom.) The bottom is all in machine oil. In general, a real insult to aesthetic feelings. I hope that at least the shredder and juicer will come from a high-quality And so the full feeling that the parts of the combine are made in different parts of the world.
If you do not pay attention to this, then I am delighted with the kneader. True, with a large amount of dough, the hook fuse did not save: the dough climbed further, to the drive. How it happened, I cannot understand.

It's sad. I have a MUM 86A1. There are no such problems. Every time communicating with him is a joy .. Cocktails have become a favorite drink, I cut and salt cabbage on a shredder every month in small quantities. And about the dough, in general, I fly. Anyone, at any time .... And dumplings, khinkali, lasagna ... It rolls amazingly. I also wanted it for about a year before I bought it. But in our area they are not sold or delivered. I had to bring it from Austria. I do not regret it, as the quality was excellent. Maybe it'll rub?
Sandy
You probably got married unambiguously or a fake can
I have 8400, for three years it has served faithfully, everything is strong, well-fitted, works like a clock
Didn't you put a lid on top of the bowl? that your dough got into the drive
barbariscka
It's a pity, maybe you got a marriage. ... I have a Mum 86R1. Satisfied, there are no complaints.
1Guly
It's a pity that it happened. I'm happy with my Mumik, although I somehow had the dough through the groove of the lid, where the hook climbed out, winding on the hook
sergovlena
Girls, I am very pleased with everything else except the blender, or rather not his work, but the quality of execution. It is unlikely that they will change the blender for me, because it is in working order, and they will say that I am finding fault with the quality of the plastic (if you do not examine it in detail, then you cannot see any special jambs), because nothing falls off, and the bottom with great difficulty, but still gets dressed , even if there is a gap of one and a half mm in the combined parts. Well, I don’t know, maybe it’s worth trying to exchange, but it’s not a fact that it’s better to come.
Sandy, three years ago and the trees were greener :-) In general, it seems to me that every year most manufacturers of household appliances make them worse and worse (((

The dough was wound on my hook, probably because of the very large amount of it. And then I also added dried fruits with nuts in horse doses. I had a lid, but it began to crawl through the hole under the kneading hook. At the same time, the engine did not overheat and worked perfectly. Passed the test.
Yesterday I made pizza dough with 550 grams of flour. At first I really wanted to scrape off the walls and help, but I resisted. And what do you think, the beautiful bun was kneaded, nothing remained on the walls. I am delighted. Hopefully, when the shredders and juicer arrive, there will be no limit to happiness.
Someone wrote that the cover is difficult to remove. So the square button must first be pressed, then the cover can be easily removed
Lenusik-sh
And I do not close the lid when I mix the dough with a hook. Before you insert the hook, you need to put a rubber safety catch on the drive, then the dough will not be able to get there. And with this cap, the lid becomes not very good, I'm afraid it will crack. I close the lid only when I beat it with whisk at high speeds. And then the lid always remains clean.
sergovlena
So the fact of the matter is that I put on this fuse, tightly dressed. The dough was hammered right into the hole in the fuse
sergovlena
Here someone wrote that the dough does not feel the same as in a bread machine, but cold. And in the bread maker it is warm, pleasant. So the combine is really amazing kneading, and the heating problem can be solved very simply.
At one time, I chose an oven with a temperature of 35 degrees for raising the dough. There were single models with this function. But in one of the ovens, the instructions said: turn on the oven at 50 degrees for 5-8 minutes (I have an electric one, it heats up gradually and not very quickly at the very beginning), then turn it off and after a few minutes put the dough there. Brilliant advice. The temperature will just be about 40 degrees
Now, after kneading the dough on the combine, I simply cover the bowl with foil and put it in the prepared oven. The result is great. More importantly, I even stopped diluting yeast in warm milk, and mix it directly with cold milk. The result is always excellent.

But in the process of learning to knead on the combine, I kneaded a too steep dough several times, because by itself it kneaded very quickly and I missed the moment when it was necessary to turn it off - everything was enjoying the process)))) For the same reason, I first poured flour adding more than necessary. But now everything is fine, I got used to it

She also unexpectedly began to use a blendar every day when making smoothies. Now I am delighted with the work of the blender. The food ration has expanded significantly.

For a milkshake. In the bleder, he came out not as foamy and thick as we would like. I made a classic one without additives. My Bamiks copes with this much better (I immediately beat it with Bamiks from the same products and compared the result). But even with Bamiks, the best was obtained when I used homemade ice cream. In the store, one can see that either vegetable fats are added, or something else, which prevents full thickening and foam. I suspect that the cafe uses a different type of ice cream, not for long-term storage, therefore the result is different, and not only because of the power
Sandy
When I knead the dough in a food processor, I pour the heated liquid, and the dough turns out to be "warm", and then to rise in a slow cooker on the "yogurt" mode
Myoko
Good afternoon everyone! Can you please tell me, does anyone wash the bowl in the dishwasher? 84 mum, a stainless steel bowl, I've been using it for almost a year already, I'm tired of washing it with urchins, and the reviews are contradictory everywhere, it's a pity if the bowl deteriorates. Thank you in advance!
