fronya40, each manufacturer comes up with such names of devices, which him like it!
I quote myself:

SUMMARY.
... nevertheless, the name should be corrected: there are only 2 programs without pressure, which means that this is primarily a pressure cooker. You can add a "slow cooker" "for beauty" (as in one of the models very popular now).
The Polaris 0305 AD slow cooker pressure cooker would sound more correct.

Without pressure - "BAKING" and "FRYING".

What all the clever hostesses! : flowers: Has anyone used the function slow cooker? (I really want a Czech duck)

I used, cooked meat in a piece (veal), for 60 minutes. put it, it turned out very tasty, soft ...
The recipe is here: https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=284112.0.html#msg1141674
And what is a Czech duck ..?
TusySh
"Czech duck" in Prague in all restaurants they serve duck with red cabbage, soft, low-fat, asked a question special. in Czech cuisine, is it possible to cook it in a pressure cooker, a slow cooker, they answered that only in a slow cooker. Now I’ll get a duck, I’ll experiment on this function ... Natasha,: girl_curtsey: thanks, for the answer - I gave determination, since the beef is cooked in a piece, then we will cope with the duck.

and the principle of what is the 60 minute slow cooker ?, I used to be on the land life on the stew button. for 60 or 70 minutes I made turkey skeletons. it turned out a transparent broth. and everything fell off from the bones like in a stew ... but here it hasn't been in polaris yet. but now it's called slow-brewing chtoli? is it all about the length of time? hence the name?
TusySh
Yesterday I made pork fillet for slow cooking, ( https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=284112.0.html#msg1141674 ) it turned out delicious - the meat in 60 minutes was soft, but dense (not stew, did not disintegrate into fibers) it was quite possible to cut across the fibers.
Shelena
TusySh, thanks for the experiment and the reference! Tell me, what was the pressure?

So far I have used the "SLOW COOKER" mode only for making baked milk.
Pressure cooker Polaris PPC 0305AD (reviews)
Time set 1.30 minutes, pressure 2. It turned out well. The aroma is much brighter than on "Stew" for an hour.

When they bring you - carefully check the saucepan. I got as many as 2! with damage to the coating. Good luck to you!

And when ordering, the girl asked me to carefully examine the bowl and everything else. And I, having read about all sorts of byaki, I think, where would I get a boo-oh-oh-lshy magnifying glass ?! What fears have you caught up with ... (just kidding)
Shelena
drakusja , and for you. Have you made up your mind? This is the hardest part!
And for the "examination" I took my husband with me. Four eyes. And even armed with glasses ... We considered everything that is necessary and that is not necessary.

Yes, I had my eyes on 0305 for a long time, I was even going to follow her to Belarus. So, as soon as I saw it in Ukraine, I immediately ordered it. I think that they will help me to examine the girl from all sides. But I don't know, when he will come to meAnd I'm waiting very, very ...

Irina, don't be afraid !!! Almost all my equipment was bought in online stores. Even a glass ceramic hob and freezer. But I carefully studied almost everything in a regular store, felt it, almost tasted it ... And then I ordered it. I did, of course, but everything worked out. In advance, when ordering, I found out the details of the exchange.
For 10 years, it happened to exchange goods only once (the electric dryer did not heat), they quickly and without objection exchanged them.

tysia, Natasha, I changed my avka again! Well, you, damn it, are mysteriously changeable!
Shelena, Helen, that's exactly what you can't try before that! I certainly trust your feedback very much. and I really like this pressure cooker! especially the price! But I, with my moans and sighs, will soon get my husband ... Already he says - order and don't worry!

I "went" to this pressure cooker for a year. I've only been cooking for a week, but I'm very glad! Draws to her with a magnet ... (I even began to exhibit recipes, but I hadn’t done this for several years.) I was hooked.

Hello everyone) I wanted to ask the happy owners of this saucepan where you find recipes for it? In addition to the accompanying booklet ... The day of purchase is getting closer, I want to know some proven sites where you can choose something for it =) Or tell me similar models with this multicooker-pressure cooker, please
tysia
I don't take it anywhere ... but why ... If you're afraid, take any recipes from another pressure cooker ...

I'm just afraid that later there may be few recipes, but I love to experiment ... because there has never been a multicooker or a pressure cooker, I'm afraid to invent something myself)

Do not be afraid, here on the principle - threw what is there, splashed water, closed the lid, pressed the button and left ...I cooked dinner like that yesterday, cleaned the refrigerator.

Milante, Natalia is absolutely right - you can take recipes from any pressure cookers!
The Polaris 0305 has 3 types of pressure, so the closest to it are models with pressure regulation. This is Oursson, Brand 6051, Shteba. (This has already been discussed here in the topic) Feel free to take their recipes - everything should work out!

P.S. I have this 1st electropressure cooker (3 years of "communication" with multicooker), but I cook according to my own recipes. So I am sure you will succeed!

+ I cook a thousand in the same way, everything is delicious in it.
more about the stew button .. I stewed cabbage with potatoes - 15 minutes pressure 3 .. I'm not very much a couple, on gas all the same stewed cabbage turned out better. In short, stewing for cabbage is not very good for me. both in this and in the land life, it is probably more delicious according to the principle of how to fry potatoes on the frying button .... and the slow cooker button, as noted above, is really not for meat. all the same, the stew in polaris must be cooked on the jelly button!
Shelena
Dani, I would not cook stewed cabbage at a pressure of 3. Obviously it will be a mess. I myself will try on one. It will turn out delicious - I will share!

I experimented with milk porridge.
I came to the conclusion that for me the best ratio of cereals and a mixture of milk with water, like 1: 5. Time - 15 minutes, pressure 2. Suitable for rice, millet and wheat. porridge. It turns out to have a pleasant medium viscosity. Here is, for example, a recipe for yesterday's millet porridge.

Millet millet porridge.

For 3-4 servings:
Millet - 150 g
Milk / water (mixture) - 750 g
Salt - 0.5 tsp.
Sugar - 1.5 tbsp. l.
Raisins - 2-3 tbsp. l
Draining. oil - 20 g
Preparation:
Rinse the groats thoroughly. Pour into a CB pan. Pour the mixture of milk and water, add salt, sugar, washed raisins. Add butter.
Close the lid. Set mode "Porridge", pressure - 2, time - 15 minutes... After the readiness signal, leave on "Heating" for 5-10 minutes.

For milk oatmeal I liked ratio 1: 3

Milk oatmeal.

For 2 servings:
Hercules (15-minute cooking) - 3/4 stack.
Milk / water (mixture) - 2 stack.
Salt - 1 / 4-1 / 3 tsp.
Sugar to taste.
Draining. oil - 10-15g
Raisins (dried apricots) - 2 tbsp. l.
1 cup = 250 ml
Manual mode: Cooking time - 4 minutes, Pressure - 1.The pressure was relieved immediately after the readiness signal.
Dani111
Lena, I’m just a mess and I love cabbage. but even on stewing at a pressure of 3, it crunched a little more, or rather boiled, everything was but in shape .. and on gas, when I carcass, it is rarely true once every 2 years)))) it turns out more tenderly just like in kindergarten, but it didn't work out ..
Shelena
Dani, I stew cabbage in multicooker. And in different models it turns out different both in appearance and taste.
Tasty when combined with frying and stewing. So I will try to cook in Polaris.
Dani111
yeah, exactly, and frying and stewing, apparently cabbage is not an easy product. both in polaris and in land life there was also a different taste .. and even a lot depends on the variety of cabbage ..

Tan, 3 pressures are 3 different temperatures for cooking different foods and obviously for cooking speed.

I put in the pea soup. admired her, put the old liberty bowl there, and save the new one for baking :-)
Quietly, the pressure has built up. beauty, I'm just happy as a child.
Shelena
fronya40, Your comparison with Liberty is very interesting! It's nice that Polaris doesn't lag behind!
I am very pleased with the appearance of the device and the build quality.
I really like the quick set of pressure and quiet, almost noiseless work. You can easily place the SV directly under the kitchen cabinet. Cartoons have to be nominated.
How is your pea soup?
fronya40
:-)
beyond praise! I put on 30 min-pressure. 3, the peas were dry green with mixed yellow, but too much 30 minutes, 20 just right.
I really like her.
I'll repeat myself again, in Liberty I did not like the only thing-valve. there are two positions, on and off, but there I don’t understand how it is put, along the arrow, slightly twisted the position-fseeee, went through up. I'm sorry that it happened, Liberty is a working machine, but ... set to rest :-)

Good evening everyone!
Thank you for the feedback on this model, thanks to you the decision was made to purchase it. Ordered on the Internet, just brought it yesterday, at the reception I briefly examined the bowl, the top, everything is in order .. Today I decided to start operation - I noticed an unevenness .. uh .. like to explain .. on the heating element of the inner bowl it looks like a little torn off .., I hope it will be seen in the photo ... As in your models? Will this affect work? Thank you in advance!

Pressure cooker Polaris PPC 0305AD (reviews)
Shelena
AnastasiyaL, welcome to the forum and to us, polaris owners!
It seems to me that scratches on the heating element are not too bad. It's unpleasant, of course, I would be upset too. But I don't think it will affect the work of the pressure cooker.
There are no other damages? Run all programs just in case, at least with water. If everything is regulated / closed normally, then you can not worry! And start cooking delicious meals!
fronya40
I woke up in the morning and immediately went to my beauty to bake for a test .. I thought, leafed through the forum, in the end I put the oven on something, I myself do not know what. it's great that the temperature and time are set. put 50 minutes, pressure. one))))))
while everyone is very happy, Liberty went to rest under the table :-)
fronya40
that something stuck my pie (((((probably the bowl needs to be replaced all the same .... that's the current for what? I put it on a wet rag and pulled it out. otherwise everything is fine, delicious pie!
Cranberry
Tanechka, is the bowl not suitable from Liberty?
fronya40
fits! she is one to one :-) I will do so.
I cut a piece of pie, smeared it with condensed milk from mistletoe, cooked in the morning and, goodbye to the diet, but not for long, I ate this piece! mmmm, super-duper :-) I don't know, it seems to me or not, from mv Liberton baked better ... but that was a long time ago :-)
What should I cook for lunch in our wonderful pressure cooker?
Girls, this is happiness!
fronya40
I want to cook sea fish, but I don't know what ... can someone tell me ...
tysia
AnastasiyaL, fronya40, girls, with a new thing you! Let it only please!
fronya40, and if you put out a fish with onions, carrots, tomatoes, 30 minutes at a pressure of 2? Must be delicious ...
tysia
By the way, before baking, I always grease the pan with a universal non-stick grease, and nothing sticks, it flies out like a pretty one ...
