Girls, I got a 6-liter stainless steel from Polina today! The quality is very good, it became perfect. Already boiled some water. I walk in circles and think about what to create in it (hands itch, there is no strength to wait until tomorrow), and at home there is a wagon and a cart
Does anyone have a stainless steel spare wheel? Can I bake in it on parchment? And fry in a large amount of oil?
Lud-Mil @
As far as I know, stainless steel is not suitable for baking, it has something to do with thermal conductivity). You can cook and stew in it.

And there baking does not work or something can happen to the pressure cooker? I'd like to try it, but is it worth it?
Lud-Mil @
I read that the walls of the bowl seem to be heating up badly and the baking does not work. Nothing will happen to the pressure cooker. But I didn’t try it myself, I don’t have a stainless steel bowl, can any of the girls write it more precisely.

Girls, and now there are still Saturns in Comfi at a promotional price? Or has the train left? ..

Aina, with a purchase. I have a stainless steel from Polina, I did not even try to bake, knowing in advance that it would not work, but frying for soup, frying meat is please.

In Komfi at the moment they are not, but in other online stores they were.

Girls, I have now cooked a chicken with dried porcini mushrooms, I'm waiting for the pressure to come off, the smell is breathtaking!

Thank you! I already tried it today ... I did the frying, but under the lid - so it stewed out more than fried, but nothing stuck
And then I threw the vegetable soup and for 6 minutes If only he would gain pressure faster
Lud-Mil @
Aina, if you want the pressure to build up faster, then pour hot water. I boil and pour boiling water in an electric kettle. And when you need a little water, then after frying in general the pressure builds up so quickly that I barely have time to close the lid.
Today - I fried chicken with vegetables, poured 1/3 cup of water, closed the lid - after a few seconds the valve was already closed.
Aina
Lud-Mil @, yes, I pour either hot or warm, but still a full 6-liter takes noticeably long, 10-15 minutes, no less
Aina
Well, how's the chicken? Have you already eaten?
Lud-Mil @
Partially ate. I took a photo, now there is no time to upload it, in a few days, as I will be more free, I will issue a separate recipe. In the meantime, one photo for reporting.

Girls, yesterday I took the computer from repair, in that store Saturn 81 for 6L 604 UAH. I took mine 2 months ago in Mobile for 423 UAH. Now it is there somewhere around 530 ... In Moby ... the lowest prices from those stores that I saw. The 84th was there.

Girls, I came to you to say thank you so much for measuring a 6L saucepan. : rose: A saucepan came to me for my fireworks yesterday and fit perfectly.
Lud-Mil @
Irina, what kind of saucepan did you buy?
Roza_Irina
I bought this from Polina in a joint purchase in Ukraine
https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=162308.0, she is there alone for 6 liters
Lud-Mil @
Ah, got it. Lucky you girls, you have Pauline with saucepans.

At what stage was the casting of the vermicelli?
Lud-Mil @
I wanted to throw the vermicelli when the pressure came down - at this time, boiling is usually still observed, and let it stand under the lid, but while it was cooking, I fell asleep: girl_red: and overslept this moment, so I had to turn it on for one more minute.

The thing is really handy. But the non-stick coating is somewhat frustrating. I cooked pilaf. It turned out very tasty, crumbly rice, fried meat, but it is not very good to add raisins and prunes. (Only needed at the end) otherwise it will be digested.
For soups, just amazing. quickly turns pea on smoked ribs. Until you cook it on the stove, all your appetite will pass. One drawback to soup mode is no start delay. Maybe some kind of analogue can be replaced with another program?
I saw that some solve the problem with a non-stick coating and lay a silicone mat on the bottom. Isn't it toxic? And where to get it?
For the new year, I want to buy a pressure cooker for my parents, but already REDMOND RMC-PM4507 in foxtrot for 555 UAH. Is it worth buying it, or is it better to take another Saturn? But I decided to buy a bread machine for myself, because the bread tastes better and I often forget to buy it, or just the one I buy, they already sort it out upon arrival at the store after work. But with her I will not particularly zamarachivatsya. The parents have Alaska (I bought it) and it serves for 3 years and bakes perfectly.
Lud-Mil @
Alexander, we have already discussed the delayed start here, it is available on all programs, only on those under the menu button, it is cleverly set up. Read from page 93, where the conversation began about this. I can't say anything about Redmond, since I myself have not used such a pressure cooker, it is better to read reviews about it in their topic. And I really like Saturn - and with its speed, after all, it quickly builds up pressure, and the programs work perfectly, and cook deliciously, and the warranty period is long.
Aina
And why do you need a delayed start on soup, if you can easily put it on rice, poultry and beef. I do not think that these programs in Saturn are somehow very different. For example, I don't cook soup at all on the program. Usually I have a "walking" bird or rice. I have enough time with my head, because now I cook borscht in 8 minutes in ready-made broth

Sima, how do you put it? (just wondering )
Lud-Mil @
Girls, yes, we just discussed this recently, there is a delay on all programs, I wrote about this a little higher on this page, on all programs there is a delay. Okay, beginners, but you are constantly in the subject, re-read a couple of pages starting from 93rd.
Aina
I re-read pages 91-93 and still could not find how to put the "soup". I only display what is displayed by separate buttons: "rice, pastries, poultry, frying" and the first thing on the menu, that is, "beef", the menu does not scroll further
Lud-Mil @
Quote: Lud-Mil @

Now about the postponement. I tried to turn it on now, I have it set like this: I select the program (I tried it on the Bird) and the cooking time, then I press on Delay, but you need to press not once, but a lot, each press = 5 minutes, during this press on the display nothing changes. So I pressed it 20 times, after that the pressure cooker started up, the heating did not start, the words Bird, Delay and time 2.35 appeared on the screen. As I understand it, you need to calculate how many clicks are needed for our delay time (1 hour - 12 clicks) and then just count them, not a very convenient system of course, but you can use it.
Method number 2
Quote: Lud-Mil @

the instructions say - first select the program and time ...
I tried to install it again - first the Delay, sting on this button until 50 minutes were displayed (in this sequence, the time can be seen). Then I began to select the program, only those that were brought to the control panel and Beef were available, apparently because it is the first one and is displayed when you click on the menu. Cooking times can also be changed. Then the pressure cooker starts, on the panel 50 minutes, those that I programmed for a delay, and the cooking time will probably start counting after the end of the delay. This means that you can program the delay in two ways.
Aina
I understand everything about time. I myself have done pastries on top of the line more than once. I was specifically interested in how to do the stitching for legumes? The menu does not scroll. he puts beef on the machine
Lyudochka, and for some reason I have a different principle: First, I set the stitching and the time (I hold the stitching button and the time "runs"). Then I choose the program.
the first option does not work at all
Lud-Mil @
Aina, so in the first quote we are talking about the deferral, if you first select a program, set its time and then press the deferral, then the deferral starts on any program. The downside of this method is that we do not see when setting how much time we put on the deferral, we need to count the presses, each press - 5 minutes, for example, we need a deferral of 3 hours = 180 minutes: 5 = 36 clicks on the snooze button. Not very convenient, of course, but nevertheless, you can start a delay.
Ainushechka, dear, well, just read carefully - I wrote that with this method, like yours, only programs from the panel and Beef are available. The deferral is launched in two ways, one is more convenient, but not all programs, the second is not very convenient, but it applies to any program.
How does the first option fail, did you wait for the launch?
Aina
Well, I'm such a confused Masha ... I went to check the first method again ...
Lud-Mil @
No, well, Masha is confused right away, maybe it really doesn’t work for you, someone also has a change in time during the cooking process, but someone does not ...
Aina
Oh uzhos .... It worked! But this is a complete nightmare ... Time is not highlighted on the line. You press this button and count the clicks And then you guessed or did not guess! Come on ...
Lyudochka! Thank you so much for helping to figure it out! Here's an attentive person!
Lud-Mil @
Quote: Aina

You press this button and you count the clicks
Well, what have I already said three times? Yes, not so convenient, but if you really want to ...
In principle, it makes no difference to me, I practically do not use a delay.

But I do not start at all on any one, now I tried it and does not want to.
In my unit, you must first start the snooze button, select the snooze time. and it runs by itself, then the word DELAY starts blinking on the display, then I select any cooking mode - even beans, even soup, even porridge, in short, all that are, choose the cooking time and USE!
Aina
Sima, I read and am amazed, the impression is that we are talking about different pressure cookers! Well, the Chinese!

lyudo4ka, It is convenient for me in Saturn to do both proofing and baking in one fell swoop. I'll tell you how I bake buns. I kneaded the dough (with a combine), then into a bag (I don't tie it, but just cover it), and into Saturn. I set the defrosting for 25 minutes, cover it with a lid but without snapping it into place. After the end of defrosting, it still stands there for 35 minutes (in general, 1 hour is suitable). I take it out of the bag, knead it, form a bun. I lay 2 layers of parchment on the bottom of Saturn, grease the top with oil + sides.I put the bun. I put on the heating, keep my hand lifting the parchment, as soon as it becomes "warm", 35-40 degrees. I turn off the heating. I close the lid. I put the stitching for 40 minutes (I press and hold the button "stitching") then I press the "baking" for 40. And that's it. I don’t look anywhere else until it beeps. Then I turn it over and for another 12 minutes the pastries!
lyudo4ka
Thanks for the answer . And I thought that the delayed baking was set in the evening, and by the morning it was ready Semyon Semyonich
sima12
Lyudochka, but a bread maker can do this
Lud-Mil @
Luda, yes, you can probably try it and the way you wrote it, the dough will work well overnight without heating. Only here you need to calculate well, otherwise it suddenly tramples on, it may slap the entire lid, and get out where it is not necessary.
Aina
And it seems to me that it will acidify by morning
Lud-Mil @
This is probably for whose taste, I like the well-sour dough in bread, from a bread machine the bread seems to me bland. And if a rye oven, so even more so, it is necessary to stand well. My grandmother baked delicious bread in a Russian oven, usually put the dough at night, and baked it early in the morning.
Aina
And I want to show you one more bun and praise our Saturchik! If only he somehow baked on top, so as not to turn over ...

Lud-Mil @
Aina, the bun is luxurious! Excellent Saturn bakes, and you are great. What is the recipe for the dough?
Today I bought a new toy (made myself a gift to NG) and the pale top in cartoon baked goods was the reason. I took a small airfryer, 7 liters, the volume can be increased to 10 liters. Its diameter is smaller than that of ordinary ones, just what I needed, otherwise there is not enough space in the kitchen, and baked goods from multi will just fit in the bowl, and the chicken will probably also fit.
Aina
Lyudochka, recipe for a slightly corrected "Dnipropetrovsk"
- 500g flour
- 40 g plums. oils
- 280 ml of water
- 5 g instant yeast
- 50 g sugar
- 1 pt vanilla sugar
- a pinch of salt
- raisins
I make the dough in a food processor, then into Saturn for proofing
About AG - great! Only I am not quite familiar with this unit yet and am afraid of it. We are waiting for pictures of a magnificent bread in a golden hat. And then, when the coup is over, the whole hat is crushed. When I open Saturn, the loaf is almost full cap, and then it is crushed very hard
