Pea puree in the Saturn ST-MC9184 multicooker pressure cooker

Ingredients

Split peas 2 multi-glasses
Water 4 multi-glasses
Salt

Cooking method

  • Rinse the peas until clean, clear water, pour boiling water over, stir, drain the water. Put in a pressure cooker bowl, pour in water (in a ratio of 2 parts water to one part peas), salt, cook on the Legumes program for 30 minutes. Switch off keeping warm, wait until the cover is unlocked. After that, open the pressure cooker, it is possible that the puree will be with a layer of water on top.

  • It is not necessary to evaporate this water, because peas thicken quite strongly when cooling down. Stir, cover, leave for a while. This is how our puree will look like immediately after mixing.

  • Well, this is a slightly cooled, ready-to-eat puree. Help yourself!

Note

Pea puree is a very tasty side dish for meat dishes in and of itself. You can overcook it with onions and carrots.

A beautiful puree turned out, what you need

And recently I began to take more water than 1 to 2 - I add +1 or 1.5 mst of water to the total amount. Immediately after cooking, the puree turns out to be watery, but when it cools it thickens very quickly and when cold it turns out to have an excellent consistency.

Well, very, very !!!
Can you please tell me, which Landlife mode will correspond to the Legumes mode?
I really want such a delicious
irysska
I personally say this - anyone that gets a finger
In general, if you know which mode of your pressure cooker is more thermonuclear, then choose that one.
Tane4ka
went to look for a "nuclear reactor"

Tane4ka, I don’t know which Landlife model you have, now I looked at the first one that came across, YBW40-101A, from those modes that it has, I would choose Beef. I think that it is possible on the Extinguishing, if there is such a program, I used to do it in a simple cartoon on Extinguishing, but it took a long time, two hours. And adjust the time for your pressure cooker, in Saturn 30 minutes is pure cooking time, without taking into account the pressure build-up, but there are pressure cookers in which the countdown begins immediately, for such you would need to add 15-20 minutes.
Ira, I agree with you, you can experiment with the proportions of the liquid to find the right one for your taste. One to two is very suitable for me, I am still scalding peas with boiling water, it seems to me that it already absorbs a little water.

Many human thanks!
I'll try on beef ...

Mila, but I somehow did not think of scalding peas with boiling water, I need to try.
And we can also different peas - for one 1 to 2 is excellent, and the other needs more water.

Yes, I would not have thought of it either, if I had not read this advice in some kind of multicooker topic - peas are foamy cereals, they say it happens that they climb through the valve in bubbles, so they recommended rinsing it well, and then pouring boiling water so that it foams less, I always do that now.

Mila, it turned out great mashed potatoes (y) And if you cook with a delay for the function, you will get milk porridge? we have one in Polaris
Lud-Mil @
Sindi, I think it will work.
