2. Is it harmful if the blender is stuck in while using the main bowl? It spins in parallel and idle.

The instructions say that when using the main bowl, the blender must be removed.
Before buying a Boshik, I had no business with combines. I also thought that this blender could stand permanently. But no ... a little inconvenient of course. But this is probably on all combines.

Some report on Bosch 5529
I cooked Charlotte, it turned out normal, but the whipping disc obviously scratched the bowl and melted into it, now there is a white ring on the bowl below. I think it makes no sense to pick it out, since it is unlikely to work. Well, on the disc itself, the lower edging decently grinded off (fused). By and large, it performs its functions when whipping, but of course not a very pleasant event. Well, now doubts are constantly plagued that with each use of this disc, friction occurs and pieces of plastic can get into food.
Bisconti did the same with dried apricots and nuts, a utility knife. The dough was not kneaded, or rather it was mixed, but it did not curl up into a circle, well, it stuck wildly to everything. What could be the reason. The recipe is as follows: 250 sugar, 250 flour, a spoonful of baking powder, 3 eggs, 100 grams of nuts, 100 grams of dried apricots. Someone kneaded a similar dough as a result? I have it stuck to everything that can be and to my hands it stuck wildly. Maybe I did something wrong? (
Slicing and shredding super. I wonder if it is possible to cut the sausage with a shredder, does it spoil the knives?
Made mayonnaise - it turned out well. In the blender, too, everything is pretty decent. Parmesan is ideal on a medium grater.

On the first quote: Did you set everything up correctly? I somehow confused the lids for the bowl (another combine) and the effect was like yours.

According to the second quote: there was little flour.

Yes, I think that's right. Before that I made mayonnaise, it seems nothing fused there. But the charlotte was heavier and kneaded longer, probably because of this it scratched. I still have a suspicion that it was scratched after the disk was in the dishwasher, maybe it was deformed a little because of this? But I think everything is simpler ... a flaw in the device, since this bug pops up for everyone who uses a whisk.

Why is there little flour? As in the recipe. Yes, and it seems to me that if there were more of it, then he would not be able to twist this mass. He barely kneaded that with me. And so probably the dough would be even steeper. Or am I wrong?

Thanks I'll know ). On the contrary, I added 4 eggs, which aggravated the situation). Thought there was not enough power).
And what is the correct order of kneading such a dough, what to add for what? It seems to me that I did not mix the ingredients correctly. I poured flour, sugar, baking powder - mixed with a knife quickly, then added 1 egg each ...
valushka
Papa [BOP], I download everything at once. For example, I just made dough for an anthill. I fell asleep in this order: flour, sugar, butter, sour cream. Then I turned on the combine. The dough is perfectly kneaded. It didn't stick to anything.
You really just poured a little flour. I had to add it.

I was already ready to buy a 5529, but my opinion changed dramatically from the 5540 and 4-speed kit, so I've been cutting everything on 5540 for a week
Papa [BO]
And on the contrary, I chose 5529 because of the configuration, since a separate cube cutter costs 900 UAH (the combine itself is 1300 UAH), it was better to buy it if it breaks to throw it away and buy 5530. There will be a lot of knives, a bowl and so on. A juicer for solid products and a whisk that comes in 5540 is of very dubious quality. There is, perhaps, that a useful extra cutting attachment and a hook for the dough.
valushka
to mine, too, a cube cutter is expensive ... how can one nozzle cost a little cheaper than the whole combine? ... therefore I use 5529 and I am happy
and totally agree with Papa [BOP] it is more profitable to buy 5529 and some other Boshevsky combine. and there will be all spare parts available) and a cube cutter) and different nozzles.
and it will be cheaper than buying a cube cutter and some other additional attachments, or replace the bowl ... and so there will be two bowls)) if you spoil one, there will be happiness in the form of a spare bowl)) consider your service at home)))

I still ordered msm 5540, took it yesterday, two hours of torment, and it finally turned on, it was not in vain that they talked about a tricky locking system, it turned out that to snap the lid from the bowl you need to press sooooo hard. So far I haven't cut anything for them, but when I turned it on, the smell of burnt appeared, And the blender bowl is leaking, they have already removed the knife, tried to twist it better, it still flows, I will call today and ask what to do.
I read on one of the websites that in some service people ordered a cube attachment for 280 hryvnia.
valushka
Lillu, you need to change it right away! You just bought it, as far as I understood?

Can you cut raw sausage with a shredder knife? To make thin slices, like on a store slicer ...
Once we tried it, came to the conclusion that the sausage should be either frozen, or at least frozen.
Papa [BO]
I propose a solution to the problem with the lid over the blender slot coming off. I solved it in the following way. Remove the core with a knife from the blender, place the flask without a knife in the socket and cover the blender with a lid, since the combine will not start without it). The problem is solved, at the same time, the release of the shelf where the blender was stored is solved, and the knife takes up much less space, the main thing is not to lose the rubber gasket on it.
valushka
So my blender lid began to move away ...
Papa [BOP], I really liked your way of solving this problem) indeed, at the same time the place to store the blender bowl

But I did it differently. put a piece of match under the lid of the blender, in the place where it should be pressed. I don’t know how to explain) but there is a pimp that must be pressed for the combine to work. I put a piece of a match on it and closed the lid. Here it is in that place and snuggles normally.

It's still a pity ...I didn’t think that Boshik would let me down .. This lid ... I’m sitting and thinking .. I’m used to it ... such an assistant ... I thought of calling the store, to find out for a return ... but somehow ... to change to the same - it makes no sense ... not the fact that it will be caught without marriage ... I don't know about the nerves yet .. but this is only when buying, everyone is kind, usually. and if you are already dealing with a problem, then the attitude is not right at all ...
And to change to another model ... I like the cubes very much. I often use a cube cutter. So it's probably easier to put the blender bowl in place.
Papa [BO]
I am sure that all users of this combine will have such problems. It all depends on the care and frequency of use. But this is not a marriage of specific devices, it is a disease of all products in this series. I thought to insert a match too, but it turns out that if I use a blender, then it needs to be removed, which is not very convenient. I think the proposed option is preferable. You can disassemble this blender and short-circuit this upper button, but then it will be removed from the warranty, so I think it's not worth it.
Alternatively, drown this button and fill it with superglue, but there is also a risk that it will not stick as well as needed.

I recently had this harvester under repair - it just stopped working
something in the engine was repaired, thank God it cost 500r.

My Boshik is still working fine) In the blender, the knife was twisted strongly and tightly, and it stopped leaking. I tried to make pate, it turned out super. And my milkshake is still different from what they sell

Take me into your ranks as the happy owners of this Bosch. I studied this topic for a week and ordered it. I immediately made a salad on it (cucumbers, cabbage, tomato, onion) I liked it very much, only for onions and cabbage I turned the grater by 1mm. Then I cut three onions into cubes for frying with pasta, and grated the carrots with this great grater (roughly rubs, you should order a medium grater)
Now I tried all the graters and rubbed the child with carrot, zucchini and potato puree. Very well. Tomorrow I'll make them pizza dough. Hope it doesn't let you down.
Now the impression is positive for 4-6 months of use I will vote on the presence of a marriage.
Lydia
It seems that THIS also overtook me: today the lid covering the place where the blender was installed came off, and it ... well, only that worked, and after a couple of minutes it turned on to chop something else with knives, but the combine does not react. The "medicine" was a match - someone in the subject already wrote where it is inserted, but I cannot competently and clearly do it. So I would have to re-vote - I can't say that without marriage, now my Boshik with a crutch.

I will also need to read the instructions and install the blender. Maybe then I'll use it at least sometimes. And for cocktails I am quite satisfied with the submersible, or rather, the "leg" attachment for the GDR mixer. It looks like I just don't understand why I need a glass blender. By the way, maybe a ban (in the instructions) on installing a blender - so that you don't use both the blender and the main bowl at the same time?
valushka
Lydia, try to make a cocktail in this blender) I like it) I used to do it with a mixer. I also liked the result, but sometimes the splashes flew out ... and I had to stand with it ... and then I loaded everything, turned it on. it whipped itself. turned it off and drank) and it is easier to wash) I pour a little water there, drip a couple of drops of detergent and turn it on literally for half a minute. the main thing is to do it right away. and all that remains is to rinse the blender bowl)

and with taking out the submersible blender - again unnecessary body movements))))

quite possible.

I have a sequel! I put a blender instead of the match (which flew out). I didn’t like it: my Boshik became too tall. (Although if I had to choose between "Boshik, working with an installed blender" and "Boshik, not working without an installed blender," I would have chosen option 1.) She took off the blender and closed the lid. AND...my boschik is still working as the lid closed normally. I don't know how long this happiness will last.

don't manufacturers respond to information from service centers?

for me, the Bosch brand has always been a very solid and reliable brand ...
Bosch is solid and reliable. Works without problems since March 8th. I don't use a blender. But he did open the lid to see the device. And that's it !!! She began to move away and turn on the limit switch. Solved this issue in 10 minutes. I found a deodorant cap of a suitable diameter, cut off a 15 mm wide ring with a threaded part and put it on 2 caps to tighten them. The ring is what you need: and not soft and not fragile, the lid holds very tightly (better than from the factory).Bosch food processor - cuts into cubes!Bosch food processor - cuts into cubes! On new models, the cover design has already been changed and it does not rise and does not turn off the combine (reaction to information from the service), but 5529 has a magic nozzle. And I also make minced meat with a multifunctional knife: 300g. meat for 10 sec. No meat grinder will chop minced meat of this quality. Regarding the silicone ring on the cube: it's still worth it, just do not assemble the nozzle on a dry one, but moisten it with water and slightly twist and press slightly, insert the knives into the body. For those who broke, try to find a new one, since without it, crushed products and moisture will get into the mechanism. I am satisfied with the combine. Okroshka, salads cube fulfills 100. Replaced a meat grinder in the house.
Hora
Good day. I was looking for an electric vegetable cutter that would help me cope with the preparation of dishes for lovers of okroshka and all kinds of salads (that is, a device that quickly and accurately cuts into cubes). Accidentally came across your forum and fell in love with "Bosch Cubix". Yesterday I even went to the company store and found out the price - UAH 2199. After looking at the description of this model and comparing it with the 5540, I realized that if there were dicing in the 5540, I would definitely choose it (because there are more functions - there are dough hooks, and a whisk and a juicer, and a POWER OF 1100). I was reading the forum almost all night to find out how successfully the "Cube" attachment on the 5540 worked, at the end I got completely confused and went to bed. I am confused by the difference in the power of these combines. Will the cube attachment be able to work on the 5540 combine for a long time, reliably and most importantly QUALITATIVELY as on the native 5529. Sorry if I repeat someone's question. I beg you very much: "Help with advice." And then I already dream about Bosch combines. We need to decide something. Thank you in advance.
Lvic
Many thanks to Anastasia and everyone who writes here for this forum. It has been a year since I found out about this combine and only thanks to you (I found the forum about a month ago) I finally decided that I needed a "cube". Actually I'm not a fan of cooking in the kitchen, but if I am interested in how the “cube” did it, then I will appear there. For a whole week, the combine has been living in my kitchen, and I am with it. Impressions practically, like everyone else: he cuts into cubes cool, quickly, he also makes mayonnaise, dough, shreds cabbage (this is also great as cubes). Well, of course, the cover of the blender attachment compartment comes off. I haven’t used a whisk disc yet (it’s scary for a bowl), although I’ve already prepared a pad (like in Mlava). Would like to order a medium grater and disc julienne. Girls from Donetsk have you already bought them and where?

Tell me, does it grind the meat very finely? I read somewhere in the reviews that it is almost like baby puree. Is it so?
The longer you chop, the finer the pieces. I have defined the following parameters for myself: 300 gr., Cubes of meat 2.5-3 cm in size, second speed, 10-15 sec. Less meat - time too. 300 gr. Max. loading.

My opinion: maybe if you want to buy it separately. In room 5540 there is no cube, so as not to explain to the people that the attachment does not work at 3 and 4 speeds (instead of a cube, you will get square plates), and the automatic blocking is either not invented or expensive.Consider this so as not to be disappointed.

Tell me, did anyone buy a "KUBIK" attachment separately from the combine? In our company store they said that it is not sold separately and is unlikely to be sold. If someone still found it in Ukraine, then share the address and product code. The service said that if I recognize the code from the catalog, then maybe they will try to order it. And that's not exactly.

Hora, the nozzle is really not sold separately. it must be ordered by component - only 4 items. I ordered through the DeutscheElectroService service in Kiev, they brought it in 2 weeks.

Good morning everyone! I just bought an assistant. As soon as it appeared on sale, I really wanted it, but stopped the price (in our stores it cost more than UAH 2,000), I even wanted to take out a loan ... such a price was overstated due to the possibility of taking a loan without% ... But here saved up and bought in an internet store for UAH 1400. I am very pleased with the combination ... the truth is not much to compare with .. I have never had ... even a blender))) ... Immediately a question: is the pulse mode the first speed?
P. S. and the blender lid still comes off ((((

If, for example, BOSCH MUZ 4 is written on an additional grater, then it fits the cube? It's just that there is such a thing ... that's interesting .. does it fit?
Lisss's
Tulka, congratulations on your purchase! the cube is a very good helper, you won't regret it! may it serve you for a long time and reliably

pulse mode is immediately the maximum speed. it is used when you do not need to twist the food at a speed for a long time, but "whip it" several times. for example, if you grind nuts in a blender - so that in a pause they fall in the middle onto the knives. and so they creep along the walls, and in the center, where the knives are, there is a hole. I don't know if I explained clearly

Only graters are suitable, the meat grinder will not, there is nowhere to attach it to the cube

As for juicers ... not so long ago I chose a juicer for my mother, there was an idea to buy a juicer with a combine too. Type two in one)) or rather a lot in one) but after rereading a bunch of information I came to the conclusion that it is still better to buy a juicer separately. I bought it. Mom is happy as an elephant)) You get a lot of juice, dry cake. And according to reviews of juicers that come with different combines - the cake often remains very wet ... In general, all the same, I am for a separate juicer. True, a place for it must also be allocated ...

Hello everyone! So I became the happy owner of the cube
Thank you very much for such a wonderful topic and tips posted in it.All this was very useful to me not only in choosing a harvester, but in buying and inspecting it in a store
He stands now, so beautiful, on the table. First of all, they tried a blender with their daughters - they made a milk cocktail. It turned out very well, and most importantly, you don't need to hold anything in your hands (until the cube I used only a submersible blender from Zepter), I pressed the button and wait.
According to all the recommendations given in this topic, I checked all the nozzles and the different protrusions on them. At first glance, I did not find any burrs on the emulsifier disc. For a very long time I was looking for a silicone gasket on a cube cutter, but I could not find it. Tell me, good people, where should it be, otherwise I'm afraid suddenly it’s not a kit and I have to take it.
And I also have a question about graters. I have two discs, one large / small, and the other a little more than fine as on the previous grater. So I wanted to know this and there is a medium grater or an even larger medium. I want to order additional discs, so I have doubts - I will order, and the same will come as in the set.
Lika
kapirka, congratulations on such a purchase of an excellent helper!

The first page of the topic contains very useful links about all graters, nozzles and more.

Here HERE about a medium grater. It is larger than the one sold with the cheese / chocolate processor.

Girls please help.
I want to order a cube cutter attachment separately for 5540, but I just can't find its disassembled codes, I remember exactly where they were in this thread, I looked at the link "Disassembled cube cutter nozzle" either.
valushka
Nariki, yes. there in the figure and the codes are written. Well, I wrote it out as best I could)

0303 - brush
0304 - disc with knife
0305 - plastic base
0306 - knife cube
0307 - plastic piece with a handle for pushing stuck food in the cube cutter
Nariki
I bought the Cube all the same, although I was initially going to order 5540+ separately. Changed my mind in the store, at the last moment in favor of the cube.
Yesterday I ordered 3 more graters from the service (French fries, julienne and medium regular) + a whisk and a dough mixer and a plastic container for storing all the attachments. All together cost $ 85, it is more profitable than ordering one cube cutter
I was delighted with the service: delivery is free, delivered on the same day, and on the phone they didn’t really understand me (I’m not very Persian) and therefore sent all the types of graters available to them. I opened, and there, instead of 3 pieces, there are probably 7 types. Well, I think, the bezel-less ones got everything mixed up, began to call, and he said to me: "Choose whatever you want, leave those that you need, give the rest to the driver."
So happy, very, very

Hello!
I want to share a solution to the problem with the blender compartment cover. Read in this thread that
The following answer was recognized as the best: Bosch food processor - cuts into cubes!
The harvester works great!
Alis
Thanks to all the researchers! Thanks to you, I ordered a Bosch MCM 5540. But I still have a question for the network: what is the best way to chop cabbage using this wonderful tool? According to the previous experience, when chopping with a utility knife (there was a kenwood), cabbage flies in a bowl, sticks to the walls and a mustache! As a result, after long torment, it turns out partially chopped to almost mashed potatoes, and at the same time, rather large pieces are found
Lydia
Quote: Alis

But I still have a question: how best to chop cabbage using this wonderful tool?

Among the discs, there should be a shredder. So it's better with her help.

Quote: s_fatal

As a result, the problem was solved by using a tightening clamp with a screw,

This is probably the best solution available. And I hadn't thought of that, and for the same purpose (as a tie) I used a regular elastic band.
Nataly_rz
More on the cabbage issue ...
The set comes with a double-sided shredder with a narrow and wide slot. Usually I shred cabbage into a wide one, it turns out just right for pickling and salads, and the last time I mixed up the sides, and chopped part of the cabbage into a narrow one. I want to say that even in this case, the cabbage did not turn into mashed potatoes, so chop it for health
Lisss's
there is also a grater with giant holes and small holes. I somehow rubbed on giant holes, somewhere in the subject I even laid out a photo - for the filling in the pies, that's the thing! and for a shredded salad like Nataly_rz, on a wide slit

Tragedy, girls.
at the point of issue, they began to check - it does not turn on
And so and so, and put in the blender, and twisted the lid of the bowl. Not in any.

If its switching principle is the same as that of the "cube", then the bowl turns very tightly there and the lid is fastened with a noticeable click. Mine, too, could not be turned on for a long time when issuing, it took a good effort.
Alis
I report:
On the way to the pick-up point, a brilliant idea struck me and I went to Eldorado. I found similar models there and started experimenting with them, then a consultant girl came up and showed how this very lid snaps into place. It turned out that you really need to make a good effort, such that then you just don't have enough strength to snap it back with one hand
In general, I came to the issuing point already trained, and confidently snapped the cover on my unit. Hurray, comrades! Thank you, dopleta, otherwise I would have bought a combine for myself for a long time.
