I wonder how))) Now I probably will definitely risk it without a bread machine!
Did you use a special form?

I bake rye bread in a cast-iron duck, greased with vegetable oil. It turns out such a long loaf. I bake white bread in a round, but also cast-iron saucepan (like a cauldron for pilaf). It turns out like purchased round bread, only much higher than purchased and airy fluffy. And the crust - um, delicious. Having tried such a delicious bread from the oven, I just wondered if I should buy a new HP instead of a broken one. Perhaps I will not buy, the main thing is to learn how to knead the dough with a combine.

girls, found at Luda's here 🔗 - she just shows in illustrations how she kneaded the dough to bread with knives in a combine, everything is exactly described there, both in time and in the procedure, you can read there

No one has canceled consumer protection yet. meanwhile, they receive their salaries from our money! so let them work out!
my story continues like this: I wanted to see SC's refusal in writing ... and oh, a miracle! They quickly said that they would replace everything for me! I was actually furious, because the staff of the SC, demonstrating to me HOW I had to use, in front of my eyes they just ruined the holder for the attachments "girl, I had to SCROLL CLOCKWISE TO THE CLICK !! THIS IS SO ..." and in this place they forcefully wind the whisk disc on the holder My heart almost stopped. In general, they wanted to make a fool out of me, reading in the instructions about the lid from the bowl ... and laughter and sin))

... eh, I hope two weeks will fly by quickly

Lisss's, thanks a lot for the articles. Very informative, I learned a lot.

This morning, I kneaded the yeast dough (for white bread) with Boshik, using a utility knife. As soon as it bakes and cools down, I'll tell you what happened in the end.
Lisss's
Valeria +, oh, so you are already off the ground! well done congratulations!! be sure to show what happens, we are waiting!

how do you like the kneading process with knives?

how do you like the kneading process with knives?

I liked the process itself, but I do not know the result yet, because the bread has not yet cooled down and I have not cut it. I will take a picture as I cut it. Shchaz current I'll go and study how to expose a photo here.

Just got back from the service center. I bought an additional hook for dough, disc-julienne, a grater for raw vegetables and a medium shredder by 2 mm, and on the back side it has a medium grater. Although I already have one medium grater in the kit, they differ in size. The one I just bought is smaller than my "large", but larger than my "average". In general, while reading this topic, I noticed that people buy themselves an average grater. And I already had a large / small + separate medium in my kit.

I will try to make the next kneading of dough with a hook attachment, I'll see what the difference is.

I didn't like the result, so I didn't take pictures. The bread turned out to be 1/3 lower than usual + in the middle it also sank. Why did I not analyze this, maybe the professionals will tell you? I continue the experiment. Today I kneaded the dough with a hook nozzle. Let's see what happens.

Bread sags in the middle, and low bread turns out
if there is not enough flour when kneading.
or too much yeast

Hello dear Cubes owners! Thank you for this forum, before buying my Boshik I read all the topics here. A few hours ago, my harvester was delivered to me from an online store, because I was really impatient to try it out, I boiled potatoes and eggs (for 2 five-liter pots) for Olivier in advance - especially so much to treat and train everyone. I would like to contribute to the discussion of the advantages and disadvantages of this device. Disadvantages: with such a large amount of products, the container had to be emptied often, but it was rather difficult to do this, since it was already difficult to remove from the glass, so it was also slippery from the stuck food (I had to run to wash my hands with a sponge every time). And the most offensive thing is, in a hurry, I accidentally cleaned the stuck food to the lattice knives with a spoon (they constantly stick there) and voila !!! When washing this grate on its sharp knives, I found blunt stripes from a spoon ... So it's a shame! : girl_cray: I still really did not like that food remains on this grate in the place where the knives cross and you cannot pick it out with a brush or a needle, no matter how hygienic ... The most important thing, of course, is that ten liters of salad were chopped into one a moment (except for the running around with a rash of lettuce with the accompanying assembly - disassembly of the bowl and knives). And yet, it is better to cut the eggs like this: I threw the egg into the chute, turned on the device, pressed lightly. And if you throw it at a worker, you don't get dice. By the way, the potatoes, although very sticky, were cold and, as a result, they turned out to be wonderful cubes. Hopefully my preliminary report will come in handy and save someone's car from my mistakes.
sweetka
mimichka , great report! but I didn't understand about the spoon. I couldn't imagine how a spoon can blunt the edges ... maybe there is still not a reason in the spoon (I am thinking this out loud).
no food remains on my grate. first I pick it out with such a special white thing, and then I go through it with a brush under the stream of water. how many times I did, everything was washed out perfectly.
it is necessary to adapt to Boshik. he is characteristic.
mimichka
Hello! Thanks for rating. As for the scratches from the spoon, I’ll explain: I mechanically waved the food stuck to the net from the bottom with a spoon (what to do, I used it for the first time and forgot about a very convenient crusher for stuck food). But here's what's interesting, I lightly touched the knives, but I did harm, but I have a wonderful thing in my household - a press for French fries, the principle of operation is the same as that of Boshik, well, except that the bars are obtained, and not cubes, in appearance the same (in the sense of the mechanism). But for TEN years of hard use, raw potatoes and I mercilessly scraped with a knife with the same netting as Boshik's the remains of the same potatoes and sausages on Olivier (I just cut the bars on the board into cubes by hand) and the knives of this device did not dull at all! This makes, willy-nilly, thinking about the quality of steel ... Regarding the stuck food particles, look at the light and at an angle (they are small, in the place where the knives intersect). By the way, I would like to ask the owners of the cubes if there is any smell from the device and whether it will pass. I have a slight plastic smell, because I had to take out small children to the balcony.
Lisss's
I clean the cutting mesh when something sticks in the corners that cannot be washed off with a strong jet of water, so I clean it with a tiny brush for pastry nozzles, or with a nipple brush, too

mine is like this, only double-sided - on the other side is an even strip of bristles

Bosch food processor - cuts into cubes!

A great idea with a baby brush, where I also have one, I'll have to try

I still doubted that she had the same small holes as the one that came with the kit. What is the approximate hole diameter of this grater? Much smaller than large?

I don’t dare to order in the internet, but in our service center it’s not that there are no graters, we could not even advise which graters go to the extra cubic pro. I had to come 2 with instructions so that they would print the graters from the Internet that come with the kit and I have, and the price for each of them is 3 ... exactly 3 times more than in the Internet !!!
Kara
So I became the proud owner of a Boshik-cube, and three extras. nozzles, kneader, medium grater and julienne, also bought in addition. I tried everything except the whisk, like many here I am afraid to scratch the bowl. So I think, immediately cut this protruding ring, or still take a chance for the first time
So, the "cube" nozzle is just lovely, now the preparation of products takes longer than a shredder. Usually, when we go to the dacha with friends and share the responsibilities of preparing appetizers, no one wants to take over the salads, now this is my "most boring" part of cooking.
Many wrote about the inconvenience with boiled potatoes, I solve this problem this way (by the way, I always did this before Boshik): shred potatoes raw, then throw them into boiling water and voila - after 5-7 minutes the neat cubes are ready, rinsed under running clean water and into the pan. The main thing here is not to digest.
Not adapted only to shredding cabbage. I cut it a couple of times into borscht, so then for another half hour I picked out flat, not cut slices from the total mass. But I don't give up hope, I continue to suffer, maybe I'll get a beautiful thin straw at the exit 5-6 times.

Good day to all.
Yesterday I received a cube. I told my wife, let's buy you for your birthday, and she told me that this is a gift for me, after all, is it buying into a house. I had to buy it just like that, although there is a lack of money. Found in the store the NUMBER in the internet store. Delivered home the next day. The set also included a grater for potato pan. Price with delivery 1624 UAH 2 years warranty Now I want to buy a hook for the test. Well, maybe a julienne to make a Korean carrot.
Yesterday, while my wife was walking with the child, I made vinigret. Everything was fine, including the potatoes, which I threw into the freezer for 5 minutes. There is very little waste. The only thing that I almost broke because after washing I inserted the disassembled nozzle for cubes. First, the circle and then the knives and closed. As a result, the lid would not close properly. And then I assembled the nozzle entirely and did everything. I would also like to find some recipes for a quick hand, for example charlotte. Although I am a man, I love to cook, but my wife doesn’t allow me because I’ll stain her stove. I will report further.

Lisss's, I promised to tell you about my experiment of kneading yeast dough with hooks. Sorry for not writing for a long time - I was doing conservation for the winter.
So, I am reporting. You are right, the hook really does collect the dough into a lump and proudly carries around the bowl. But I still adapted. I'm telling you. I fall asleep all dry ingredients and crank at first speed for 1 sec. Then I pour in oil and water / milk. I crank at the 1st speed for 1 minute, then at the 2nd speed for 1 minute. I turn it off - the dough is really collected in a lump. I stretch it with my hands along the diameter of the bowl and leave it to rest for 5 minutes. Then the second batch, the same as the first, only at the 2nd speed I hold a little longer, about a minute and a half. Here the dough behaves differently. Sometimes it sticks around the bowl again in a lump, and sometimes it rotates around the center in an even circle / disk. If it has collected in a lump, I again stretch it around the diameter of the bowl and leave it to rest, this time for 20 minutes. Then the third batch, absolutely identical to the second, but at the 2nd speed I have been holding for two minutes. And on the third batch, it never gathers in my lump, but revolves around the center in an even disk. All. I take it out, put it in a warm place. Then I knead, well, then you know, everything is like with ordinary baking. Here's what I get.

Honestly, I don't know its name. And so, a grater for raw vegetables = grater for potato pancakes. Its holes are the same as on a hand grater where it has a "shaggy / prickly" side. Rubs, one might say, "into the dust." That is, like a baby for baby food.

Girls, I have such a question.
There is such a detail in the Cube: inserting narrow or long vegetables into the feed chamber for shredding narrow or long vegetables to narrow this chamber. That is, so that thin carrots do not fall on their side, but rub "while standing". Seems to be clear?

Could you measure the dimensions of the feed chamber and this thing, I want to buy one for my combine (Philips). The feed chamber is similar in appearance, oval. What if it fits? ..

Yeah, okay. This medium grater rubs approximately the same as the julienne grater (for Korean carrots), but slightly thicker (about 1 mm). I use it to rub carrots into soup. The fact is that the fine grater that was originally attached to my combine rubs so finely that it is not suitable for soup, in my opinion. But, if you have a julienne grater (for Korean carrots), then you don't really need a medium grater. Personally, I took it only because of the 2 mm shredder, because for some cabbage dishes, 3 mm is too much for me, and 1 mm is not enough.
Quote: Pooh

How large is a regular hand grater?
No, definitely not. They do not look alike with the usual hand-made coarse grater. They are similar precisely with a grater for Korean carrots, but the average one is larger, in the sense that it is about 1 mm thicker.

Thank you, Valeria. Hurray, this is the grater I need. On your own beets, if you rub juice from it directly, the juice flows. The husband eats a lot of boiled beetroot salad in winter, small - very finely, and large straight slices, it turns out that the combine is eating and rubbing the beets with his hands all winter. He needed after the operation.
Yesterday I ordered both her and the julienne, I'm looking forward to it.
Thank you.

Hmm, maybe I didn't understand something, but my julienne grater is rubbing with such thin 3 mm cubes (rectangles), that is, a truly Korean carrot, and a grater (this is not included in the set to the combine, it is bought separately) here so makes flat slices. This is exactly how carrots and beets turn out when I rub them on an ordinary iron grater on this side. Bosch food processor - cuts into cubes!

That's right, Kara, I had this kind of grater in mind as in Lisss's. It is bought separately, just by the picture on the site where I ordered the holes seemed small. Complete with the combine, the grater with many small holes for nuts and cheese is called "Medium" in the instructions, and I always meant that it was small. Here's another such grater, as already in the kit, and they tried to sell it in the service center, and it was three times more expensive than on the website, and they called it average there.

Lisss's, finally I decided to order a cube cutter for my Boshik 5540. Our service counted 950.00 UAH. I called Kiev at DeutscheElectroService there in the region of 750.00 + delivery by New mail. When they found out that I was not ordering a combine harvester, they began to discourage me.

I really want a cube cutter and "pricks".

Thanks a lot to everyone who wrote here, a lot of useful and necessary information. I also became the proud owner of the Bosch 5529 Cubix food processor. HURRAH! At last. The only disappointment at the moment is that I cannot buy additional attachments-disks. I went to our service center today (Russia, Republic of Mari El) - so they give me such exorbitant prices for extra. disks said (each disk costs at least 900 rubles) and wait at least a month. To buy a 4-D disc you will give half the cost of the combine - HORROR! Like looking in the internet - there are prices much lower. So, can someone tell me which online store in Russia is best to order and, accordingly, buy these extras. disks (so that the price is acceptable, not so long to wait for a reliable store, maybe it works by cash on delivery (maybe prepaid)). In general, please tell me a normal online store to buy additional. attachments for this combine price Russia. Thank you in advance.

Unfortunately, I will not tell you about Russian sites. I also wandered for a long time in search, until I found it. But just a week ago I received my grater. As I already wrote in the Boshevsky service center, they offered me the same thing at three !!! times more expensive and wait a month. Cash on delivery + shipping is much cheaper. I found an Internet store on the Yandex market. I just drove the brand of the desired grater. After 3 days, a grater on a courier mail near my house. They, it turns out, have several points around the city, and I knew only one on the other side of the city. I made a phone call on the website and chose the mail point where to deliver. You can go home by courier, but it's a little more expensive.
Liliya79
Thank you Pooh, here I am, after reading all the pages, I realized that it is easier to find discs in Ukraine than in Russia. But I will also try to search, because I really want a 2mm grater / shredder and a disc for fries and carrots in Korean. )))

Hello everyone.
Take to your ranks :)
I bought my mom 5540 for her birthday and additionally a cube cutter.
A few questions:
1) centrifugal juicer. What is the working principle? Plastic thicket with teeth, without any holes for juice seepage. A yellow bowl with a grate is inserted into it. I have not tried to use it yet.
In general photo:
Bosch food processor - cuts into cubes!
So - how to use this juicer? After all, there are no holes for juice to drain. If the juice passes through the yellow grates, then it does not drain into the large mixing bowl, it remains in the transparent nozzle, since there are absolutely no holes in it, only cloves on the inside. Tell me, please.

2) What is the difference between dough mixers ?:
Bosch food processor - cuts into cubes!
Bosch food processor - cuts into cubes!
I included the one with the hooks. That she can what the other cannot, and vice versa? Does it make sense to buy with small paddles?

3) I don't have this attachment at all, and there is no description in the instructions for it. I understand - is it beating eggs? Again, does it make sense to buy in addition or are those attachments that I have attached enough to (see the list below)?
Bosch food processor - cuts into cubes!

4) Does anyone have such a handbag? Does it fit only the metal cutting discs themselves? Or you can pack larger attachments (for a squeezer, for a puree, etc.)
Bosch food processor - cuts into cubes!
ps. I have these attachments in the kit:
1) dough mixer with hooks,
2) main cutting knife
3) whisk
4) insert-grater (for mashed potatoes)
5) citrus juicer
6) centrifugal juicer
7) disc grater for fries
8) Double-sided disc shredder (thickness 1mm and 3mm)
9) Disc grater / shredder medium
10) Disc grater double-sided
11) a box for storing discs, a whisk, etc. (but attachments do not fit into it (for a juicer, for mashed potatoes, a cube cutter, an attachment for holding discs)
Are these attachments sufficient for various dishes? Or is it worth buying for example:
1) Disc grater for raw vegetables
2) Disc grater (all in holes)
3) Disc-julienne for dishes of Asian cuisine to a food processor (it seemed to me that the disc is a 1mm grater, so it rubs very finely, is Asian even thinner?)
Nastasya
Girls, and 5529's main diseases have now disappeared (which were discussed in the topic)? And where can you buy a separate cube cutter attachment? Well, I don't understand ... Although I read the topic almost completely.
Lisss's
Nastasya, the cube cutter attachment is not sold separately, it is bought in parts at Bosch service centers

ssmfg85, I can’t tell you about your questions, because I didn’t use a juicer and a dough mixer with plastic blades, what to buy, what not - it only depends on you, on the dishes that you prepare, and the functions that you expect from the combine
