As I wrote, a specialist from our forum, sugar in proteins is a fixative. That is, first, beat until peaks, and only then add sugar. True, I beat without sugar, and, moreover, no more than 6 proteins at a time, otherwise it takes a long time and does not beat very well. Then I put the whipped egg whites into a separate bowl and beat with sugar with an electric whisk.

Hello! I caught fire to buy myself a combine. I can't decide which one to take, or 29 or 40. If you order a nozzle for a 40 model, it will be a little expensive. Does the 29 model have a utility knife and a mashed potato attachment? Still wondering, can I order a separate mixer attachment for this model (29)?
ElenaMart
There is a utility knife for mashed potatoes in 5529. What mixer attachment? Blender?
katya2
Oops, thanks for the quick response. and I thought at 29 there is no utility knife. and I meant the nozzle whisk, but it is not really needed. in general, I decided, I'll take 29. and many thanks to everyone who unsubscribed on the forum. If not for you, I probably would have taken a Philips blender with a nozzle out of ignorance.
Oca
She picked up and shoved a plastic pad - "protection against bowl scratches". It was scary to turn on after that time, but everything whipped up perfectly! Thank you very much!!!
Gerda1
Hostess, tell me please ... are there any decibel data in the instructions for the blender ???
Could you take a look ??? I did not find information on the manufacturer's website

I choose between a cube and a phillips ... I thought to compare the noise ... but no ...
So they are completely different in functionality, how can they be compared ?! Phil is a hand blender with various attachments, Bosch is a complete food processor.
I won't tell you about Phil's noisiness, and Boshik is a loud guy. But a hard worker

there are graters here and there ...

blender is there and there ...
The dough is bothering me with a mixer or HP

A stationary blender and a submersible blender are fundamentally different devices I can't imagine how they can be compared.
Gerda1
what is fundamentally different does the submersible and stationary blenders do
In my opinion, nothing ... both grinds food ..
Well, the stationary one, probably, also whips better cocktails ...
azaza
Well, if you look at it that way, then you really don't care. Both the one and the other are grinded, mixed, whipped. But what and how, with what degree of convenience and with what result - this is the fundamental difference. The most noticeable difference is the mayonnaise-like sauces, which can be made with one left hand blender and spend tons of time and energy in a stationary one. And submersible milkshakes will never whip up like a stationary one. Soups-puree are more convenient immersed. Pancake dough is equally good for both, but Bosch will have to be washed longer after it. Etc.
If both submersible and stationary are called blenders, this does not mean their complete interchangeability.

Hello girls! Today I purchased this miracle of technology through an online store. I was going to try it - there was a problem. The lid on the large cup does not snap into place completely and, accordingly, the combine does not want to turn on. It seems to have put everything together correctly, what to do? Thanks in advance for your reply

This one - Disc Julienne BOSCH MUZ 8 AG 1 - definitely not suitable. It is for Bosch MUM 8 series.
This one is Disc-Julien BOSCH MUZ 4 JS 1 - suitable for Bosch MUM 4 series.
And this one - Disc Julienne BOSCH MUZ45AG1 - suitable for 4 and 5 series Bosch combines. This list includes Bosch MUM, Bosch Cubix and others, similar to Cubix in configuration (a large bowl with knives).

If I'm not mistaken, Disc-Julienne BOSCH MUZ 4 JS 1 is also suitable for the 5 series of combines, but I'm not 100% sure.

ppcd I took the disc-julienne BOSCH MUZ45AG1 in the "Refrigerator" under the order, waited 2-3 months somewhere

Once again, the second and third options are suitable, the first is not.
It was not for nothing that I highlighted the numbers in the disk model in bold. This is the series number of the combine for which the disc is intended. Even if the disks are the same size, their footprint configuration may differ, for example:

Bosch food processor - cuts into cubes!Bosch food processor - cuts into cubes!

I don’t argue, of course ... but on purpose now every disk is scored in Yandex pictures. all 3 came out with cube-like seating

Pictures on websites do not always correspond to the real look of the device. After receiving the disc, there may be a Surprise.
If you like surprises, order a disc with the number 8 in its numbering. Don't like it - take the one with the title indicating that it is suitable for 4 and 5 (or only 4).

Read in this thread about the interchangeability of disks of food processors, the answer is 109 and 115 and you will understand that they are the same, at least to the cube cutter and to mum8 .. !!!

First, you don't have to yell at me.
Secondly, I am surprised that you have concluded from my posts that they are NOT interchangeable.
If there is a disc marked 45, then both 4 and 5 series of ANY Bosch harvesters (both MUM and similar to a cube cutter) identical seats... From this it automatically follows that all disks from the 4th MUM series will fit the 5th MUM series. And of course, such discs will certainly fit a cube cutter or similar combines. These are obvious things, I thought it was understandable.

Thank you very much! I twisted it all morning and lo and behold, the lid slammed shut. In principle, Boshik satisfied my requirements. I diced carrots and onions for pilaf (a little bit small for onions, but not critical), I did well. But the milk cocktail is generally wonderful (I knocked it down in a large cup): a little banana, milk, ice cream and vanilla sugar, just ate too much - delicious food and froth just right. In general, I'm happy so far. And the MUM nozzles fit perfectly.
Alenky
I didn't want to offend anyone, let alone shout !!! My answer was for ppcd !!! Namely, I have a julienne disc, with a bosch mum8 ... fit on a cube, they have the same seats. Once again, if you offended anyone, excuse me!

Masha, it's simple. Freeze milk until it snows. Fruits (strawberries, apricots, bananas in any proportions and combinations, these are the coolest fruits for a cocktail) are thrown into the blender bowl, whipped. You add frozen milk to them (the main thing is not to freeze it, so that it does not become a briquette). The spoon will stand without any ice cream and even low-fat milk! Well, if it is absolutely necessary with ice cream, add that too.
I won't tell you the recipe in grams - I always do it by eye, and the cocktail has never turned out to be tasteless. You can also do it with cherries, cherries, plums, blueberries, etc. But the above set is most to my taste, especially apricot. Peach is more watery.

I also do it by eye, but I don't freeze the milk. Took approximately: 1 banana, 0.5 tsp. lies. vanilla sugar, you can also add ordinary sugar, if you like it later, 3-4 table. spoons with a slide of ice cream and set all this to beat at 1 speed in a large bowl with a knife, and then added milk, about half a pack (I took milk of 3.2 fat content "To health") and beat it again. It turned out great, fast and tasty.

Gentlemen, hello everyone
I gave my mother an MCM 5529 harvester, we are using it for the second week, we are studying.
In terms of reliability, all nodes are not a fountain, everything is like a toy ..
The other day we were chopping greens, a strange knock when the combine was working.
Owners of the MCM 5529 do you have a knocking noise when shredding?
It seems that the disc itself jumps and creates a knock.
Oca
I had a knock when a piece of potato got stuck between the lid and the shredder disc. At idle or when cutting, the noise is relatively smooth, monotonous, only the tonality changes when the load on the motor increases.
Before turning on, I checked whether the support for the disk and the piece of iron itself fit well.I drove a disc shredder and a blender, without suspicious sounds

Nuuuuu, I start to grunt if there is some kind of imbalance, for example, when a piece of vegetable that has not yet been cut is scrolled on the disk, and so

Today I chopped cabbage and mushrooms for filling on pies on a large shredder, all in a matter of seconds. And also the filling for the eggplant with a knife in a large bowl. So far, I'm very happy with it.

Hello, I am from Ukraine. I'm going to buy a Bosch MCM 5529, but here's a bad luck: in our online stores there are models Bosch MCM 5529 and Bosch MCM 5529R (sometimes RU) sometimes at the same time in one store. The difference in price is about 300 UAH, and what else the consultants do not know. I think maybe only manufacturers are different (RU = Russia) or are there any other differences? Can someone tell me?
P.S. While I'm going to take a look at this miracle live. For three days the harvester was choosing Your forum was very helpful in choosing

good evening, craftswomen)) there was also a choice between Bosch MSM 5529 and 5540. I also wanted to clarify, in 5540 somewhere it says there is a julienne disc, somewhere not, I need cutting into strips like for Korean carrots,
I already think 5529 to buy an additional whisk, but there is no juicer, it's straight at all, even if you order an individual one for the manufacturer. In general, I would like to have a metal bowl, but again, the toe grinder is not useful at all, but it costs almost 5 thousand, because of this, the price of the combine is up to 16 thousand ((tell me pliz ...

Girls, here I am joining your ranks.
Boshik bought yesterday.
to say that I'm happy - to say nothing))
really my joy was darkened, like everyone else's ...
I tried to cut only into cubes for now, but the lid above the cutter immediately comes off ...
it is not always convenient to hold it ...
I saw on the forum they wrote about a collar or a deodorant cover as a solution to this problem ...
did someone do that?
otherwise it's kind of dumb to stick a match, and it's still not entirely clear where)))

how is the process of whipping proteins and pancake dough?
I didn't buy a corolla, they write that he is frail. For fun, I beat a couple of eggs (whites and yolks together) - the volume increased three times, I used an emulsifier disk (with a plastic washer to prevent the bowl from scratching). Unfortunately, now it is not possible to carry out an experiment on pure proteins. I did not try to beat eggs in a blender. I knead the dough and much more with a utility knife. And the built-in meat grinder in Bosch combines, according to reviews, is not very ... better take a separate
belaya
I did not buy a corolla and do not plan to. I make pancake dough in a blender. If it was necessary to beat the whites separately - I did it in the main bowl with a special disc - quickly and a dense foam was obtained.
I also knead the dough with a utility knife. I used the same knife as a meat grinder - if we use cold meat and control the process, then our family was always completely satisfied with the result.
Helen
Hello dear community! This is my first post on the forum ... After a week of reading Temko decided and bought a Bosch Cube. I brought it yesterday and started testing. I tried the blender first. Chocolate milk. I poured milk into it, I look - my blender is leaking. Then I twisted it a little from the bottom - order. True, the whipped milk did not work out as I wanted, it just mixed and that's it. Then, of course - cubes! I decided to make a salad with crab sticks. Eggs - whack! but the sticks began to crawl under the knife and did not climb into the cutter. Probably, you need to start them slightly frozen. But the cucumbers and the onion cut wonderfully. Then I cut the still raw carrots into cubes - and in the freezer for the future borscht. Then I decided to try graters. Wanted green radish and carrot salad. A grater, which in the instructions is called "average" from a radish, depicted some liquid substance to me. Then I planted a double-sided grater and rubbed radish and carrots on the large side. And this is too big for a salad ... I will buy graters and experiment. Then I decided to chop three carrots with a utility knife. Somehow he scattered it all over the bowl with grains larger than expected. (I then chopped these carrots on my little chopper with cheese almost into a paste). Yes, I also made orange juice. But, apparently, the wrong sort of oranges was caught, the crusts are thick, and there was a lot of waste. And tell me, pliz, I did not find in the instructions how much you can use the included combine? For example, when I make juice, can I give it a rest or without a break, can I drive it for 15 minutes? I'm afraid to put the disc for knocking down. When I brought the combine, I immediately tried to cut this groove with a sharp knife, but somehow it turns out unevenly. Maybe then go for a thin sandpaper? I read that some users of the Cube cut a spacer for this disk, but I did not find a photo and I do not understand what size it should be and how to mount it? In general, I am still mastering my "miracle" and really want to really make friends with him. I allocated a box for all the components, and Boshik himself took an honorable place on the table next to the multicooker. My two silver assistants !!!!

Congratulations on your purchase! My pictures are not loaded because of the slow Internet, here should be https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=22259.0 If it is not visible, then in words I will tell you where to hook it. Sawing the groove did not help me - the convex triangles on the disc began to scratch the bowl Two plastic washers came up for the gasket: one from a battery, the second seems to be from a water tap. The design is about the size of a coin-cell battery and fits inside a plastic gadget that holds a utility knife or disc. Look inside it, where the metal pin of the combine is inserted, there is a cylindrical cavity. I did this: I put both washers (the total height was about 6 mm, the width was 9..10 millimeters) on the metal pin of the combine, and then I put this plastic thing - the washers were pushed inward, stuck in it and removed from the pin along with the nozzle. If I could pull them out from there, I would measure them with a ruler, and so the dimensions by eye. As a result, the disc rose noticeably above the bottom of the bowl, but the lid of the combine closes perfectly.
