Katya, I still have in your memory the first "milk" experience in the cartoon. Milk is different now, fig knows it, what if! Yes, I cook milk so rarely now that I just boil it on the machine while I prepare the rice. But, purely from the principle, I'll try to do everything at once and into cold milk. But if it runs away ... you will owe me a new one (for inciting

And if it really escapes ??? From where will I know that it ran away by itself, suddenly you pour milk on the pressure cooker, and then tell me please Brand)))))))))))))

Thank you. And I remembered everything, well, who wrote about pilaf ... The only thing I did not take into account was that you cooked on chicken stomachs, as it is simply more familiar to meat (with regards to pilaf).
As for the "bird" mode, there is no such thing as the "porridge" mode, and it is not clear why 0205 is more expensive than 0105 ...

FANTOM, I COOKED A FUNCTION OF PORK FLUID + A HANDLE OF CHICKEN STOMACHES, SO THE STOMACH WERE GOOD, NOT DIGGED, AND THE PORK WAS SO SOFT THAT IT COULD EAT LIPS.
(Sorry, the caps onion was turned on, but I didn't notice, sorry)
Phantom
I cooked porridge on the "MEAT" mode, I did not boil the milk or heat it, I put sugar in the cold one (mixed it thoroughly) and rice, greased the side of the pan with butter just in case. As a result, the milk rose to the lid (characteristic traces) but did not run away, the steam let it down itself did not wait and it was for the best that the porridge turned out to be just the liquid consistency that I liked.
Gaby
Phantom, how much milk did you pour? I then poured 700ml and saw 3 cm on the walls. It rose.
Phantom
200 ml glass of rice, liter carton of milk.
* Katerina *
I want to add, maybe this is of course my guess, but most likely it rose due to the fact that the pressure was released on its own. The faster you go down, the more it boils in the pot. Possibly they were coming down sharply.
The other day I cooked rice for 2 liters, and only a little milk rises when it boils.
Phantom
It rose during the cooking process because the steam was interspersed with milk.

We made a vegetable stew for anyone interested:
A floor of cabbage is an average of 20-25 centimeters in diameter, one zucchini, several potatoes, a couple of medium carrots, a head of onion, a couple of tomatoes.
I mixed cabbage with carrots with salt as if they were salting, so that the juice would go and put it down.
Top with potatoes, onions, zucchini and tomato he sprinkled it all. It turned out almost under the cover. Put it in manual mode for 8 minutes. After 8 minutes, I forcibly dropped the steam, the vegetables were all boiled, but a lot of liquid remained. With the lid open, I extinguished for 5-10 minutes, as a result, a wonderful stew turned out.

* Katerina *
Oh, such a pleasant correspondence was erased))) girls, it was so nice)))

And today I also made a vegetable stew for rice. Only from zucchini, blue, carrots, tomatoes, peppers and onions, a little garlic, dill and spices. Delight.
Every time I fall in love with a pressure cooker.

Katyusha, and I made zucchini caviar from Andreevna, in 10 minutes, oh, and there was liquid ..., then I opened another garlic, threw it and put it on for 2 minutes, again she dropped the pressure and the liquid decreased, put it in the refrigerator, and in the morning blended her deliciousness and the color that you need.
Yesterday I cooked myself again a pea soup 1: 5 + meat and that's it, 40 minutes and a light soup is ready (without potatoes, carrots and onions), ground the pepper already in the plate and.

: secret: Dear pressure cooker lovers, take me into your circle)))
I am now also a happy owner of the Polaris PPC0205AD wonderful saucepan. For my birthday, colleagues made me happy))) The first thing I cooked, rice porridge, did not read any recipes and reviews about fears that the milk would run away))) took two measuring cups of rice and poured 12 cups of milk, as written in the recipe book))) And naturally I could not even think that such a volume would turn out, they ate for three days))) On the trail on the top lid, I realized that the milk was rising, but everything went well))) Then there was pilaf with chicken ... with the lid open I fried onions and carrots, then added the chicken and almost immediately covered it with rice and cooked rice in the mode, everything also turned out great! And yesterday my husband surprised me at all, I come in the evening from a workout, and in my wonderful saucepan the soup is ready)) I don't know how he did it, but it doesn't look like borscht, the beets boiled and turned out cabbage soup)) And I also wanted to put a casserole for the night cottage cheese with a delayed start, so that in the morning to eat a hot meal, but it did not work, I put the delay for 5 hours, clicked on the "baking" program and went to bed calmly, thought to turn on everything by itself and that's it, but decided to check it in half an hour, and she turns out to be cooking in full already ... In short, the postponement did not work, apparently, I did not wait for the end of the program, I fell asleep, and in the morning the casserole was still hot. In general, I don’t understand whether the heating mode has turned on, or the delay has worked, I don’t understand, tell me, who did the delay on this model ???

Yesterday I decided to make potatoes with meat (beef) and was afraid that the potatoes would boil very much, but everything worked out, just amazing! Every day more and more I love my saucepan! While peeling the potatoes, I threw the meat for 6-8 minutes to fry, then I added spices, salt, tomato paste, potatoes, onions, carrots, added water, but so that the potatoes would not be covered and that's it, on the "meat" program in 15 minutes my beef turned into a very tender, juicy and soft meat, the potatoes are boiled just to the very condition when they are boiled, but do not fall apart! it turned out very fragrant and rich, there are no words, in no cauldron this will not work! ))

Hello everyone, take a new one))
I bought a pressure cooker yesterday, but I don’t know what and how to cook in it, I cooked a chicken drumstick from an old Soviet chicken on the automatic program “Meat on the bone”)) Of course, I was pleasantly surprised that they were cooked in 40 minutes, previously it was required to cook for 4 hours ( ((
Maybe you have any secrets for cooking in a pressure cooker and recipes? Wait, I’m thinking why I need gas and I’ll probably give it up))
I already got used to the multicooker, so I bought a pressure cooker))
@lenka
Hello everyone!)) Take me into your ranks!))) My friend pushed me to buy a pressure cooker. I have half-year-old twins and I don't have enough time for my favorite cuisine. And if I still get to cooking, then I will either burn something or just forget about the stove - the kids are constantly distracting. In general, ATAS - hello Rolton.
While choosing a model I came across your forum and this topic))) Thank you very much !!! The most interesting reviews + explanations + photos of dishes))))
In general, I did not wait and have been using this treasure for several days)) I have 0205. I have already tried to cook milk porridge, soups, pilaf. Well, I indulged in a cake))) Now I'm trying to make baked milk))
The thing is just a miracle !!! The real savior))) I just can't understand one thing ... !!! AS!!! it turns out that you throw all the products into the same soup at the same time and nothing is boiled down I don't understand 0-oh, I was afraid that in this situation the carrots and onions would be boiled in mashed potatoes. but everything turns out as it should be 0-o. there is probably an aunt with a magic wand hiding
Pilaf turns out to be a miracle! And my husband is pleased with milk porridge in the morning))) For me, the main thing is not to follow. Well, the speed of cooking could not fail to please.
About the pan. I have not had any problems yet, nothing has burned. Nice heavy saucepan))) I will blow dust off it))))
@lenka
Uraaa !!!))) In 40 minutes it turned out excellent baked milk))))
Gaby
Alenka, what a fine fellow you are, I wrote such an inspiring post with her impressions. Everything is so, I was also afraid that some products would boil if they were pledged at the same time, But the result exceeded all my expectations. When the pressure cooker cooked borscht in 15 minutes (clean time) and which was also much tastier than the one that I cooked on the stove in a saucepan.
I am happy for you and of course for you, in your situation, the pressure cooker will be a great and invaluable assistant.
@lenka
I especially liked the cheese soup from the soups in the pressure cooker))) I seemed to do everything as always, but the taste is richer or something ... Father was delighted)))
Gaby
Alenka, what kind of cheese soup do you mean with melted cheese or what? Drop a few lines like you did when you have a free minute, because it never crossed my mind to cook cheese soup in a pressure cooker. (a piece of cheese was lying around in the refrigerator, plizzzzzzzzzzzzzzz)
@lenka
Tyks ...
chicken thighs 4pcs. (you can take smoked chicken or smoked ribs. It turns out interesting)
potatoes 3pcs. large.
carrots, onions 1 pc.
a pack of your favorite processed cheese. I had 2 packs of hochland.
I fried onions and carrots on "rice", threw in chopped potatoes, cheese and thighs (I cut the thighs in half for fidelity). salted and poured water. cooked for 10 minutes. She took out her thighs, and whipped the rest with a blender. separated the meat from the bones and back into the soup))) serve with crackers and herbs))) I have enough breadcrumbs from one roll for a saucepan of soup.
husband eats such a soup with pleasure))

Girls, good afternoon.
And answer me some questions if you can.
1) what is the degree of frying in your speed skins. Well, if you estimate, let's say the cutlets can be fried to a normal crust? Or is it possible to just let it go?
2) I read and see that many are manually letting off steam. In connection with this, the question is - is it harmful to the apparatus? Isn't it dangerous in terms of a burn? If you don't let it down, will she let it down?
3) I saw two negative reviews about burning. I understand that the rest are OK?
4) Are all programs under pressure here? (let's say not everything in Kuku). Is the pressure cut off?
5) Were there any problems with the release of steam and the valve (for example, many people complain about this in the cookie 1054).
6) What about the service? Who already had to use it?
If the questions are stupid - sorry. But I'm in complete disarray. The fast car is definitely needed. My Panasik can no longer cope with my requests. It was quite ripe for Kuku 1054 despite the price, but yesterday I read it and I see a lot of complaints about the valve. A1010 does not even have a soul. Well, it’s not even something that doesn’t lie - but does it make sense to buy for 2000 what you can for 800? parameters with polaris are similar in principle. In general, I'm still in search. There is still a brand in perspective, but it must be expected until mid-autumn. Wait for me hotts.
Pinky
tuskarora Well, I’m probably the first to share a little experience

1. It is quite possible to fry to a normal crust on the "rice" program (I have the 01-st Polaris model). Or in manual mode. It is possible with the lid open or simply covered. The downside is that it turns out little at a time. Although anyone like
2. If you do not forcibly release the steam, the pressure cooker continues to cook until the steam is completely empty. This is good if you want the dish to come through. Most of the time I vent myself. The first time, of course, I was afraid. You can get burned only because of your own negligence, and if you hold the lever a little from the side, then no problem. I burn my hand much more often when I open the lid and immediately turn it over. Then the water from the valve, it happens, pours into the hand.
3. Regarding burning. Happenes. Not without it. But not tightly. The other day I made chicken legs without water, so they fried them sooo well to the bottom. I poured baking soda, poured some water and boiled it there for 5 minutes. I left it to cool for an hour and everything was perfectly washed.
4. Personally, I had no problems with the valve. I can't compare it with a cuckoo - I just don't have it.
5. The service center has not yet been contacted.mmm But, since there is a center in the city, I hope there should be no problems with the repair. Although I have not yet found reviews that someone has already repaired Polaris. The model is quite new and I have not seen much criticism.
And personally, I am very pleased with my pressure cooker! My Panasonic favorite is now more idle, more often I cook in well. But now I cook very little in the summer.
It's up to you to choose an expensive brand or a relatively cheap pressure cooker. I also really wanted the Brand's pressure cooker. But I live in Ukraine and I was stopped not only by its absence with us, but also by possible problems with repairs, since we do not have such service centers.
Maybe the girls will add something else.
azaza
I'm afraid they'll shower me with slippers again right now. I decided not to write in this topic, and still.
About Brand. First, where are you in Ukr. find? Unless to take it from Russia, so Pinky rightly complained about the impossibility of contacting the service center in case of anything. Did you mean that the Dex pressure cooker may appear in the fall? Perhaps she will once again become a clone of Brand.
But personally, I would like it to be closer to ... Polaris in terms of functionality. I was accused of everything. But Polaris is a great pressure cooker. Now, if Dex had "cloned" it, and not Brand's one, and at the same time put his own bowl (only 5L) - it would be a dream unit!
Carefully read Brand's branch (pressure cookers). Somehow I was not particularly impressed. If Dex turns out to be a copy of it, I will buy it, of course, but not before the Polaris pan is completely bent. It is not yet known if Brands (and Dex) will have a manual mode in the fall. They promise, yes, but? .. And without him it's not so interesting. Elastic band again. They promise to fix Brand, and Dex will be with old rubber bands, or with improved ones? The valve is also complicated, and not without problems - some users let steam through.
I have not the slightest complaints about my Polaris as a unit. Reasonably arranged, programs are non-stick, works stably. The valve is convenient, non-tampering: washing is not a problem, installing is as easy as washing. The pressure is released very easily and is absolutely not scary. How afraid I was, but now I almost never wait for the pressure to dissipate by itself.
If not for the weak coating of the saucepan, for me a pressure cooker would not have existed better than Polaris. And even now I'm not sure if it exists. At least this is clearly not Brand - I did not see any advantages in him over Polaris, with the exception of a golden saucepan.
But the pan I have sooo weak! Apparently, this is my personal "luck", since no one else complains except me. But there are not so many Polaris users here either, perhaps the percentage of dissatisfied people would be higher on average.
Polarist girls, I noticed that after cooking the corn, some numbers appear at the bottom of the saucepan (perhaps a batch number, or something). The numbers are smooth, not felt to the touch. That is, the coating has not worn out to the ground, but it turns out that under the influence of corn broth it seems to shine through. Therefore, just in case, I warn you: do not leave the corn water before cooling, drain it immediately. You never know what.
Pinky
azaza Oh, Tanya, can I have a quick question about cooking corn? On what mode and how long did you cook? Once again, I am going to cook corn in the well, but all hands did not reach. How is it soft? Salted water?
And about the saucepan ... Yes, everyone has it not of the most luxurious quality. So what? I fried something even in high-quality Panasonic on baking, so it burned oh-she-she. Yes, it is, of course, easier to wash in panasika. But also in Polaris without any problems. True, it depends on how much it is fried. So what do we want for that kind of money? And all the same, I didn’t regret for a second that I had bought Polaris, and not another popular and expensive pressure cooker. And while we use ours, maybe Polaris will have spare pots. The brand is new, maybe the demand will force the manufacturer to release spare wheels.
Do the letters at the bottom show through only after the corn, or even started to appear? Somehow I haven't noticed yet.Although the bottom of my saucepan is not as perfect as the new one.
azaza
People, I noticed the numbers only after the corn. After that I'll cook something else - they disappear until the next corn.
But to be honest, I expected more from corn. Perhaps I'm cooking the wrong way. I cooked it for 7 minutes, and 10, and 12, and 14 (all on hand). But I don’t think this is an SV problem. Most likely, I just haven't come across good corn this year. It’s terribly sweet (I hate imported varieties, it’s not like eating corn, but frozen potatoes!), Then fodder, then tough (although there’s no old one yet). In general, I have not made friends yet. And I don’t salt the water at all. They say corn is tough because of it. And I have that with her, that without her. It would be necessary to cook for comparison in a cartoon. When I cooked on the stove, I let it boil for 20 minutes, then salted it, and after 5 minutes I turned it off. This time was enough for young corn. And now my stove is closed, I need to adapt to the cartoons and the pressure cooker. Not yet.
Pinky
Why did I ask for the corn. I steamed it in Panasonic - no, I didn't impress. Dry and tough. Although the corn was young. In general, I did not like it. And then I thought due to the pressure should be softer. In short, we have to try, as I understand it. Every time I come back from the market and remember that I forgot to buy corn Not globally, but sometimes I want to. I have never cooked it this year at all!
azaza
I remember the IRR praised the corn in the NE. And she didn't tell me how to cook.
azaza
And in time? Default?
tuskarora
Girls, thanks for the answers, you clarified a lot to me.

Pinky, did I understand correctly that the machine turns on when the lid is open? Well, as for the volume of roasting, I don't need much. I mean, high-quality fry the dressing in soup or in pilaf, a piece of meat to cook it later, etc. And by the way, if you compare it with panasik, does it fry more or is it the same?

azaza, I didn't confuse Brand with Dex. I just have a real opportunity to buy Brand. The nephew is serving in Moscow. But now he is on vacation and can really deal with my question later. But here's the service. Why did I doubt for Cuckoo. There is no service for them in Kharkov. Or maybe I didn't find it. And if a problem with the valve happens like a girl's - what then? Dancing with knitting tambourines? The money is a lot for me. In general, I'll think about it for a few days.

By the way, I am now resting at a dacha in a small town in the Sumy region. Today I go to the department store purely by chance - lo and behold, something so familiar .. Polaris 0205 for 850 UAH. Can this be fate? Although it is stupid to bring equipment from the village to Kharkov.
The seller is so gross. Says - the pressure cooker has been standing for six months, no one is interested. Still would. There, the majority do not know about HP.

swetlana25
Yes, the time is "regime", I washed the corn, folded it, covered it with leaves a little, closed the lid and hit the "meat" button, then she did everything herself and let the steam out herself. The water was not salted.
Pinky
tuskarora Compared to Panasik, the roast in Polaris is stronger, more power. I fry in rice, first heat the oil, then add the food. I do not close the lid, but simply put it on top in order to heat up faster. I take off when it is necessary to interfere, or I do not cover at all, so that the moisture evaporates faster. In time, of course, a little longer than on the stove. But it is quite possible to fry decently.
Since my meat quantity is usually quite decent, I would need to fry in two steps. In this case, to speed up the process, I simply fry the meat on the stove (whoever has no desire or such an opportunity, fry it right in a saucepan. It will just take longer to prepare.)
There is no baking in my model, but I don't need it here - for this purpose there is a Panasik and an oven for large quantities. In the summer, I rarely use the oven because of the terrible heat - we have up to 42 in the shade! And now, for small quantities, I bought a grill-gas frying pan (although I haven't tried it yet), so the pressure cooker and this frying pan will be enough for me.
Buy a pressure cooker, don't even hesitate! And, in my subjective opinion, there is no need to buy the most sophisticated. From the experience of using (albeit not very long), it turned out that the manual mode is the most acceptable. I rarely use most of the programs, only when there is no time to watch. I put it and forgot

ta lan nizza ... in muffins you can, in corn you can not.

you can not put it. And so and so delicious. I did not specifically write about cooking, what how much, but you have already been answered, I compared the taste in sv and mv. I liked it better in well. And faster and richer in taste. And about sugar when cooking corn is a well-known technique, I read and cook more than once. There is only a spoon for 2 liters of water - not critical, but lends itself to taste.
And by the way, you do not need to pour all the corn with water, but only a glass or two so that you can get some steam. Then you will get the lower rosters in water, the upper ones for a couple - you can compare how tasty it is (well ... this is when you cook more than 3)
tuskarora
IRR, thanks for the links, but much cheaper is model 0105, and 0205 is more expensive, I spoke for it. I still want the baking function to be there. Yesterday I climbed the Internet as I could - the price for 0205 ranges from 770 UAH to 1090 UAH. if we add a transfer from Kiev to Kharkov, it is 50-60 UAH, then we will receive at least 820 UAH. By the way, 770 UAH is on your link to the clathronic yuei. Before that, the minimum price was 778 UAH.

Girls - the last request so far - no one will send me there where you can look at the instructions for Polaris 0205? I like to teach the material part more deeply, so to speak. Cook and Brenda studied already. Pliz. if possible. Although I feel that I will join the team.

And here you are! Right there, in this Temka, owners of 205 have already been noted. Two, it seems. But somehow completely, completely inactive.
ta lan nizza ... in muffins you can, in corn you can not.
I fulyugan with cupcakes once a quarter, and corn ... once a day So shta nizya! And without that, I violate it greatly. But corn for me is a drug that I can neither voluntarily give up, nor forcibly. Only in the pressure cooker somehow I have not made friends with her yet. And once I did not master it all, I had to follow. warm up the day with steam in the cartoon. And so it happened

tuskarora, do you have any kitchen appliances? Not specified in the profile. If there is a multicooker with a baking function, then this function is not needed in the pressure cooker. The cover of the saucepan, as you already know, is not the best, and the baked goods add to it. So if there is a cartoon or AG, then you can take the 105 model - it will cost less, and in terms of functions in some places it is even better than the 205, only without baking.
tuskarora
azaza, yes, I know that I need to show everything in the profile, but there is no time for everything. I have a bunch of everything in the kitchen, if about cartoons - then I have Panasik 18. The baking function, if, by analogy with other pressure cookers, I think so, involves not only muffins, etc., but also the possibility of baking meat, for example. That's why I want to read the instructions. If it's not difficult - tell me, what exactly in your opinion is the functionality of the 105 better than the functionality of the 205 model?
azaza
In the first posts of the topic there is a detailed description of the functions. I don’t remember exactly, but the difference in time intervals. At 105, they seemed more comfortable to me. In the evening I'll look and clarify. Right now, sorry, there is no time.
AlKA
I apologize for the inactivity, well, I'm not an active cook. The difference between 105 and 205 is really on the first page.
In modes and cooking times. Unfortunately, I did not check the baked goods in Polaris, since I have two Panasonic large ones and when I cook cupcakes / biscuits and so on, my hands reach for the multicooker themselves, more familiar, or something. Therefore, it is probably true, if there is a MV, oven, the 0205 model may not be needed. The lid is removable (I took it off, by the way, I didn’t expect it myself) and a large black one and a separate lower one with an elastic band, washes normally. I took two 0205 for myself, one in the village, the other in Kiev. Now I do not cook very often, basically, everything that is already on the forum. I was delighted, of course, from cooking meat, well, it cooks very quickly, and did the roast, the potatoes are super. Porridge too. I will not repeat myself, everything is described by the girls above.
Gaby
Tuscarorik, and I, as a compatriot, am already here waiting for you with a report, although I leave tomorrow for the village for twists or to dig out potatoes or ... a lot of things.

According to the instructions, it is so primitive: put everything in the pan, close the lid, select the desired mode (or set the time yourself), check the valve is correctly installed and in no case not open up cover when she works, truncated.
azaza
Quote: tuskarora

and what exactly in your opinion is the functionality of the 105 better than the functionality of the 205 model?
Rice mode: 105 mod - 5-15 min, 205 - 8-15 min
Soup mode: 105 mod - 20-30 min, 205 - 15-40 min
Porridge mode: 105 - 5-40 min, in 205 combined with Soup (15-40 min)

The difference is small, but the time intervals seem to me more convenient in 105 mod. Besides Soup - Soup is better at 205. Although, to be honest, the manual mode is even more convenient, I use it more often. Only if you fry something - I turn on Rice, this is the hottest program. In Brand, by the way, there is no manual mode, and this is not good. In the fall, they promise an updated batch, but again without a parking brake, it's just that in all programs the time should be counted from one minute. However, about the maximum time of supposedly 99 minutes in Brand, I never found it, it seems like 59 minutes after all. As for me, it will not be enough.
In general, my opinion is unchanged: Polaris would have a stronger saucepan - it would be an unsurpassed pressure cooker. And I would not spend money on Cuckoo. In my opinion, for such a price it should be an absolutely axleless device. And then there are cracks in the plastic (the owners assure that they do not affect the functionality, well, well, I personally would be upset to tears for such money to get a device that has been worn out for several months of use!), Then with a valve troubles, and this is by no means not harmless ugliness is already a problem of personal safety of the user and his family. The same, by the way, applies to the Brand valve

And for the finale - about baking meat. Honestly, I can’t imagine baking meat in a slow cooker, but I’m not a pro in this business and not even a specialist. But it seems to me that the meat in a piece can be done like this: fry the Rice thoroughly in the program, until such a pretty crust. The meat should let the juice go. For greater beauty, deliciousness, after frying, you can coat it with sauce (something like mustard-sour cream-adjika, free style), and send it under pressure on the Meat mode.
tuskarora
Thank you all for your answers.
azaza, well, where the time intervals are better - this is a subjective question for me, since I don’t have any SV, I cannot argue. But she made meat on baked goods in the same Panas and very successfully, but for a long time.
In general, while I'm taking my leave, I went to read the instructions. I promise to report on the acquisition in any case.

Soup mode: 105 mod - 20-30 min, 205 - 15-40 min

Actually, that interesting time is indicated, girls, I've cooked chicken soup - noodles, pre-cooked broth, then added potatoes, onions + carrots fried separately in a saucepan + broken durum wheat spaghetti, set the time to 7 minutes and as a result boiled spaghetti and potatoes (if there were ordinary noodles, it would have boiled down into trash at all) - then the time needs to be halved, 4 minutes, why set?
