and I just made a chicken with pineapples the other day. delicious)))
Polaris pressure cookers
Pogremushka
I long ago decided that I would buy Polaris, and when the time came I came across the Brand and bought it. I use it for 2 weeks. The only thing missing is the ability to set the time from 1 minute on all programs. There it is possible only on Porridge / Steam cooking.
About Polaris, I often met comments that the silicone ring smells like chemistry, and someone could not get rid of the smell for a long time.
The Brand has several more frying modes. And such a solid unit. I have never regretted that I made a choice in his favor.
AlKA
Of course, Brand has more modes and functions, but Polaris is also a wonderful saucepan.
I have two of them, plus my daughter and two employees (0205 model) - no one noticed that there were foreign odors from the silicone ring.
There is not even a hint of this.
Olga_Oh
Girls, good afternoon, help to disassemble with the pressure cooker Роlaris PPC 0205 AD the unit is gaining pressure and cannot, therefore, the "PO" symbol does not appear, but only the sun.
Maybe I'm defective, I can't understand.

1. The lid there is a button on the inside, I press it and a small hole in the lid, which is visible at the top, is closed by a "curtain", but a small crack remains not entirely. (if the pressure is much higher than the norm, then the hole will increase automatically)
2. A valve that can be removed and on which there are inscriptions to cook under pressure in pressure cooker mode, I put it in the position on which it is written and drawn "Steam outlet" I put an arrow against that "hole with a shutter" in the instructions there is a safety lock.
Thanks in advance.
AlKA
Olga_Oy, just the opposite, the lock, which is painted on the valve, in order for the valve to be closed and the pan to gain pressure, must be installed opposite the arrow, which is painted on the gray sticker on the lid. That is, if you are facing the pan, turn the valve with the lock drawn on it towards you. The valve seems to go down (fall a little). If it is not clear, ask. You are just opening the valve if you install it opposite the curtain.
Gaby
Pinky, thanks for the interesting version of pilaf, and respect to Katya and respect for her opinion, I also think so, and thank you for being the first to appear in this thread.
Tell me, the instructions say that you need to flush the valve and I don’t understand how to do it, I removed the inner lid, I washed it thanks to the IRR (showed how to remove it), but how next, maybe somewhere someone has already described how to do it. And it is also written that before disconnecting from the network, you need to press the button, this is the button canceling mean? I looked around on the case and did not find any button.

when the cartoon appeared, I told my friends what a cool thing, now I only advertise the pressure cooker)))
respect and respect for joining our ranks))))
and the button - Cancellation.
but I just rinse the valve under water. I don’t know, somehow it is always clean.
Gaby
Thank you, Catherine, for quick answer
Today, when I received a notification on the phone from the transport company that it was already possible to pick it up, I was so worried, as if they had made me an offer of a hand and heart, I was so worried, it was already funny.

and as soon as SV prepares something tasty for you, agree to be always together in sorrow and in joy)))
Katrin, what a great comparison, +1, but tomorrow, today requires waiting 1 hour, but it's too late.
kava
Girls, tell me if it is possible to cook baked milk in a pressure cooker and how (in the sense of what is the optimal displacement and what program, how long). And then at first it caught fire, and then I read that someone was boiling and the electronics died. I have a Polaris PPC 0105 AD
Pinky
Oh, while I was hosting my Katyusha already noted. Now I made pilaf with navels - it turned out to be very tasty. As for the valve, I also don't know how it is removed. In any case, I can't take it off, I'm afraid to damage it. You have to rinse with a sponge from above. I didn't even learn how to take off the inner cover with the ring - I didn't want to take off, the nylon pipette was sitting very tightly. But now it has developed like.
The question about baked milk interests me a lot. I make melt in a cartoon, but 6-7 hours (or put it at night) takes a long time. I think you can put on the "meat on bone" mode for the maximum 99 minutes, there is the most gentle temperature - after all, we cook jellied meat like that. Today I'll try to do it. To begin with, I'll put 1.5 liters (there is just such a carton of milk). Then I will report what happens. Or you can bring it to a boil on "rice" with the lid open and switch to "legumes", I think it should work out too. Only before the milk boils will have to follow the saucepan. A bit inconvenient, but as an option ...
Gaby, my congratulations on finding such a cool assistant. Let them please with goodies and work without problems. Now I, too, drive my pressure cooker by the ears of everyone I know, bragging about it. And in general, it's time for all of us to pay extra for additional advertising of these devices
And I went to Aerogril to show off some bread.
kava
Pinky, and how do you remove the inner cover? : o Teach plizz, otherwise I wash it entirely, and then it's problematic to express water from it.
And about the milk, I will wait for your report. Thank you
Pinky
kavaAt first I was afraid to remove this inner cover too - I will pull it over myself by the nylon piptic, the cover is loose, not removed. Then my daughter-in-law showed me the removed cover (she learned faster than me), there is such a knob on the pin at the end. Here she is holding this cover. Do not be afraid, just pull on the nylon pipette harder, twist a little around the pin and the cover will come off. At first I was afraid to pull, I thought it would break. No, nothing, okay. You will do it a couple of times, then it will be easier to shoot. Wash lid and ring and dry well. In total, I’m so smart now, when I’ve learned, and at first I was also a coward, suddenly I’ll break it So pull, don’t be afraid!
Pinky
Vika, I rummaged and rummaged for recipes with navels, in the end (because everywhere the same principle) I did it in my own way.
I washed 1 kg of navels, boiled for 10 minutes. on rice (you don't have to boil it, but just fry it. It's still tasty), forcibly let off steam. I strained the broth (tomorrow I'll cook buckwheat porridge on it), washed the navels, cut them into strips (this is from previous experience, it turns out softer. But this is not necessary) Fried on rice with 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, laid out fried onions with carrots. Since at the same time with pilaf I made the filling of hearts for pies, I fried a lot of onions and carrots on the stove, and for pilaf, you can simply fry in a pressure cooker, but it takes longer. I put a cup of 450 gr into the fried mixture (together with the navels). steamed rice, salt, pepper, seasoning for pilaf and poured boiling water 1: 1.5 water. I put a head of garlic in the middle, and closed the "rice" program. Manually added up to 15 minutes. As it peeped, it turned off and the SV itself released the pressure, without heating. It turned out very much even nothing.
Only my remarks: it is better to salt the navels during frying, otherwise it turns out bland. Parboiled rice requires a lot of fat. If you don't want too fatty pilaf, just pour in a little more water. Vegetable oil for frying all together took somewhere from half a glass. Varies at will. That's all, actually. I cooked food longer.
Gaby
Pinky, thanks for the pilaf recipe, I'll probably fry them all the same and my rice will not be steamed ... in general, the principle is clear, +1, but later, they demand to wait 1 hour.

Of course, I still have a question about the steamer, who adapted how? I don't have a multicooker to rent from it, as others do, and therefore the question is open
Pinky
The first time I didn’t boil my navels or cut them, I just fried them well (to be honest, I like it even more), but my husband seemed a bit harsh with his teeth (and it’s just right for me). My rice is usually not steamed either, just this time there was an open half of the pack. For ordinary rice, no more water needs to be poured! Otherwise, the pilaf will not be crumbly.
So cook with pleasure, very good for a change
Pinky
If at the end of cooking it seems to you that the rice is a little undercooked, you can pour 3-4 tablespoons of water into a saucepan, close it again and put it by hand for another 3-4 minutes. It will work fine. But I just put it on 15 minutes from previous experiments and everything is in order. Although the rice is different every time and the time sometimes has to vary. But you cook it once and then you will see for yourself what needs to be added - time or water. Dare
Gaby
Pinky, cooked pilaf according to your recipe and what can I say is very, very, very tasty, thank you for the recipe.

I also cooked borscht in 15 minutes (with pre-boiled broth, of course), everything turned out to be chiki-piki and so delicious, just awesome; cooked and began to think in my head that I am a super-duper hostess .... it's not so modest, but what can I do.
IRR
Quote: Gabi

I also cooked borscht in 15 minutes

Vikusya! Did you make red borscht in a pressure cooker? otherwise it never turns out beautiful red for me, but it’s a boiled color, so borscht is the only thing in skrv. I do not cook.
Gaby
Borsch, the same color as usual on the stove, red and the color of tomato juice, but not the color of beets. I read here that beets are stewed - they are stewed with tomato to preserve color (I did this for the first time in my life), but I did not see the difference, the beets were also boiled out, as usual, next time I will skip this item.
Pinky
Gaby, Bon appetit I'm glad that my recipe came to court. I myself often cook such pilaf. And about the super-duper ... So it's great! If you value yourself, like your own cooking, then others will definitely like it. And this is confirmation that the hostess is a super-duper.When there are such assistants in the house as we have, the novice hostess will probably feel more confident, and if there is experience, then it really is Super Duper ... I now also often praise myself out loud (this is so that my family does not forget that they eat in a home restaurant)
IRR, but for some reason my borscht is normal, red is obtained in a pressure cooker. At first, I slightly simmer the chopped beets in the broth. However, if I take vinaigrette beetroot, dark red. And if the beetle is ordinary, borsch ("chintz"), then yes, it turns out light. But I cook borsch with tomato frying, so I adjust the color with tomato or tomatoes.
Gaby
Pinky, dear, now this recipe for pilaf will be prescribed for a long time.

I now also often praise myself out loud (this is so that my family does not forget that they eat in a home restaurant)
What a fine fellow, you formulated so well about the restaurant, but really "home" eat like in a restaurant and everything is prepared from the freshest ingredients and also with love, and in catering rEstorane may be delicious, but often soulless, because when you cook, you put in some other positive emotions ...
Pinky
Girls, I report on baked milk. The milk was like this 1.5 lPolaris pressure cookersSince I did it for the first time, I was afraid to risk it right away and put it first on "Rice" with the lid open (after a couple of minutes I just closed the lid on top), waited 3-4 minutes before boiling Polaris pressure cookers, turned off the SV. I waited 2 minutes and switched on the program "Beans" for 50 minutes (this is the maximum that can be set there). After 2 min. the saucepan gained pressure. For another three minutes I was spinning beside her - I kept looking for milk to run. Normalek! I calmed down, left and remembered about her already an hour later. She had already released the pressure herself. Opened it. As a result, we have this Polaris pressure cookers I poured it into a white bowl on purpose, because it is not very visible in a saucepan.
T. about. in 50 + 4 (for boiling) minutes we got wonderful baked milk, creamy color and wonderful taste. True, it will not be possible to get such a brown warbler as I like here - no, of course, top heating, as in AG. For completeness of the experiment, I put the saucepan again on the "beans" for 30 minutes - I'll see if it makes sense to increase the time and whether the taste and color change. Then I will unsubscribe.
My comments 1. You can safely put milk directly on the "beans" program (whoever has another pressure cooker, then on the program where the jellied meat is cooked) and not bother with preliminary boiling.
2. For a more intense color, the time can be increased up to 1 hour.
Pinky
Yes, and most importantly! Somewhere I recently read that, in order to To prevent the milk from escaping, grease the edges of the saucepan with butter.I don't know how effective it is, but it's a fact - the milk didn't run away! I, for insurance, so to speak, greased the drain from the edge of the pan. oil cm by 3. It will be necessary to try on the stove in an ordinary saucepan.
So, girls, we are making homemade meat and we are not afraid! Everything is subject to us!
Who was there waiting for my report on milk?Kava? You can start cooking, checked, no mines
Pinky
Here, for comparison, milk (left) after an additional 30 minutes and the first (right) in 50 minutes. The color shows that more time is needed, then the milk will turn out darker.Polaris pressure cookers... That is, in Polaris you need to bet twice on the program "beans" (2 * 40 minutes).
Photo from a phone, so the color is somewhat distorted. In nature, the saturated color of coffee with milk turned out. Nice and tasty. Although the increase in time, in my opinion, did not affect the change in taste in any way.
Gaby
Pinochka, what a fine fellow you are, a pioneer, so to speak, and the photos are gorgeous - they give an idea of what happened, so don't be poor ...
Milk foam in a slow cooker turns out, and if you immerse it a few more times, dip it in milk, it becomes even more beautiful, but this is certainly for lovers of foam. I didn’t know that in Aerogril, people also heat milk, because I don’t have it, now I’ll know ... or maybe you can show a photo of what kind of milk it is with foam in the AG, if there is, of course, it’s not worth it to do it for my sake. ...

And I, too, now the experiment is going on, while I click here with the keys, put the underwire to cook according to MariV's recipe. I'll unsubscribe later if something worthwhile comes out.

Virgo, tell me, when you got the pressure in the pan, you have a slight almost inaudible hiss, not all the time, but periodically?
Pinky
My pressure cooker sometimes sizzles too. Not always. I noticed when the pan is full or there is a lot of liquid. Hisses, crackles (in the valve) and sometimes splashes slightly. I think that's how she regulates the pressure. Or not? Who's the pressure cooker here? IRRochka, where are you?
Gaby, baked milk in AG was the first thing I cooked in it. In clay pots. It’s a pity, I didn’t graze on the forum yet, no photos were needed. And the milk also turns out well in it, with a brown warbler, yum! I don’t have a slow cooker (so far), I’ve already tuned in to buy twice, but all that interfered. Therefore, it was not very necessary. Well, we'll see, maybe I'll buy

GabyThanks for the "thank you"! You really praised me, but inspires
Gaby
Pinky, fuh, thanks for the hiss answer, you must be right a lot of liquid.
With the photo from AG, everything is clear, I believe you anyway, but with a slow cooker, when you need it, everything will work out, everything is correct. About thanks .. stop it, you deserve it.
Pinky
Girls, dear, thank you all for your attention to my experiments. I'm very glad that something came in handy!
I owe the purchase of a pressure cooker to our IRRochkait was she who slowly pushed me to the idea of the need for such a necessary thing, for which she is very grateful. A very, very useful purchase! And in general, thanks to our forum, not only do I now have a bunch of necessary equipment in the kitchen, but I also made very pleasant acquaintances, one might say, friends (I am asking myself a little). And there's no need to talk about the abundance of all kinds of recipes!
So I wish all of us delicious cooking and pleasant communication.
Pinky
Again with my baked milk I cooked rice porridge on it today. Unusual color and taste turned out. But very tasty.Polaris pressure cookers Cooked on "Kasha", the pressure was released immediately forcibly. Oh, sorry I don't have a cow
Gaby
Pinochka, your porridge is of an unusual color, like with caramel.

Iirochka, I beg your pardon, I was wrong with the color, about the borscht, when I cooked it and looked at it in the evening light, it was imprinted that the borscht was orange-red, and yesterday I took it out of the refrigerator and it dawned on me that the borscht of the color of beetroot was dark cherry. I'm surprised at myself ...
kava
Pinky, today I also heated homemade milk 2 times on beans. A beautiful caramel color turned out! It tastes like childhood, when baked milk in glass bottles was sold with gold caps.
Pinky
kava Congratulations on a successful experiment. Well, isn't it really tasty !? I, too, immediately remembered the taste of milk "with golden caps" from childhood, which I loved very much. And, most importantly, in skrv quickly, no need to wait for the night. Now I want to try to make fermented baked milk on such milk.
Gaby
So I was never going to cook baked milk, but your porridge was the drop that haunted me ... Pinkydear, let me kiss you, today you encouraged me to make baked milk too, stoked it once for 40 minutes, on beans, then poured semolina, added some sugar and for 2 minutes, did not release the pressure. I fulfilled my old dream - to cook semolina porridge in melted milk, for my beloved, I liked it so much in childhood, otherwise I never got around to myself.
Pinky
Vika, well, you are great (y) Somehow it didn't even occur to me to make semolina porridge! But I love her too. That's for sure: the collective mind is a thing! Now you will do for yourself what you did not want to bother with before due to the eternal lack of time. And then rr-times and you're done! Smart girl! Cook with pleasure for your family and yourself. And be sure to get praise (we deserve it, but of course)
Gaby
Pinochka Thank you for doing THIS ... without you I would not have dared, I would have put it off, postponed it, because no one but me will eat it. And how fast is that.
Virgo, I started a notebook, where I describe what I cooked and how and how long. (So as not to forget)
Pinky
Girls, and in my Polaris I ventured to cook a green borscht! On the "meat" I cooked a broth of pork ribs (however, on the stove I brought the meat to a boil, drained it and washed it — I was afraid that there would be a lot of foam on the boil). I blew off the steam, threw in the diced potatoes and for another 6 minutes in manual mode. Again let off the steam and fell asleep green onions, sorrel and sautéed onions. Well, salt, pepper, herbs, lavrushka, of course, and in manual mode for 3 minutes. Then she blew off steam immediately. Oh yummy turned out!
If not for the tender greens, it would be possible to throw everything at once with potatoes (I cooked red borscht like that). I just didn't want the greens to boil in rags. The husband said that he had not eaten such a delicious "soup" for a long time
Gaby
Pinochka, hello, you did a great job, and I cooked pea soup - it turned out so dumb, it’s so delicious, just tearing off the head. For 40 minutes on the program, the peas were completely boiled down, then I added the stewed onions and carrots separately in a saucepan and added the ribs of a young kid, for 30 minutes. In general, I'm in a pleasant shock - it turns out so delicious all and fast. I also cooked stewed cabbage in 10 minutes - it turned out so soft, as if it had been stewed on the stove for 2 hours, next time I will try to set it for 5 minutes so that the cabbage would crunch slightly. These are my results.
Pinky
Gaby, congratulations - this is what we are, we are settling on the sly. I would also cook pea soup, but I have no one but me. And cook for yourself one lazy. Although ... just now I sent my husband to the apiary, for a while I will myself, probably I will cook for myself for a test.
And I also stewed cabbage. You don't need more than 5-6 minutes. Then it turns out to be a little crispy and very tasty.
Now I cook almost everything in a pressure cooker - fast, tasty and clean

We are the most charming and attractive, and even hostesses anywhere

Who would doubt that
Hostess girls wherever, a question for filling. Could you measure the Polaris bowl? The main parameters are the height and maximum diameter without sides. Will such a bowl fit the Polaris nest: https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=162308.0 ?
And another very stupid question. I'm a complete layman in pressure cookers. One of the Polaris models has a baking program. I can't figure out how this happens. Is it really under pressure? Or is it possible to close the valve tightly or leave it open at will?
IRR
azaza, Tanya! Do you gradually train yourself not to be afraid of pressure cookers?

so, look, and you will come to slow speed

and all this was once not nada: girl_in_dreams: but not even a year has passed
azaza
Yes, vaasche !!! Where is the world heading? Or where am I rolling? I was afraid of panic !!! And now I have not really figured out the principle of action, and only the quality of the casserole stops buying from the purchase. Rather, the inability to purchase a spare.
Honestly, I don't even know if I'm looking after her for myself, or for a child. I thought, you know, to make her happy with kitchen helpers. I look after a good grater, and a wonderful pot. The husband insists on the cartoon (yeah, but not so long ago he looked at me, as with these multicooker!). And I think maybe she's better off with a pressure cooker? She's a very busy girl, and therefore constantly hungry.
In a whisper: yes, I would have bought myself a pressure cooker. There are pea soups, pearl barley swimmers ... The brain is slowly boiling 🔗
* Katerina *
take a better pressure cooker)))
I have a cartoon and a pressure cooker. The cartoon is good, but I'm not overjoyed with the pressure cooker.
I'm even going to take the pressure cooker to the sea.
and if there is a small child and you need to cook fresh every day, then there is no better assistant)))
Pinky
azaza I have a model of a pressure cooker Polaris 0105, the dimensions of the bowl are as follows: the inner diameter (along the top to the sides) is 22.2 cm, the diameter with the sides outside is 24 cm, the height of the bowl is 14 cm, the bottom diameter (outside) is 21 cm, the diameter of the bottom inside is 18.7 cm. I'm not sure that the measurements are completely accurate, because I measured it with a centimeter. And the bowl tapers downwards.
The cup you mentioned will not fit Polaris - I also studied that Temka for a spare one. But my Polaris was ideally suited for a bowl from a Panasonic cartoon. The lid fits and closes perfectly.
I won't say anything about baking - there are no baked goods in my model, and I don't need it. If necessary, there is Panasonic, but in general I still prefer baking in the oven. In a slow cooker, baked goods are more moist and dense. But this is not for everybody. And it depends on the recipe. I also make some pies in the cartoon, especially when you need to quickly and cleanly - put it on and forget, you don't need to run to control.
As for the choice ... In my opinion, the cartoon and the pressure cooker complement each other wonderfully. For example, I cook buckwheat only in a cartoon, it is very soft in a pressure cooker. True, you can adapt and reduce the cooking time. But if there is an opportunity to buy only one thing, then a pressure cooker is probably better, Katya is right. Especially if there is a lack of time.
I'm already thinking about buying myself a second pressure cooker. I'd like to Brand myself. If they were in Ukraine, I would have bought it already. So I'm thinking of puzzling my acquaintances with a purchase - they will soon visit their children in Russia.
So do not hesitate, take your daughter a pressure cooker, you will not go wrong.
azaza
Girls, thanks for the answers! I want her, your pressure cooker. But the replacement saucepan, at roughly the price of the pressure cooker itself, is somewhat not what I was hoping for. I'll wait for now. Liberton's saucepan is one and a half times heavier than the Polaris one, and I use it for nothing and very, very carefully, and the scratches have already appeared. So it's dumb. I want a cartoon or a pressure cooker for which you can easily buy a replacement bowl.
But the Wishlist has already firmly crawled into my tender soul And judging by the fact that the choice of pressure cookers we have is very modest, I'm afraid sooner or later I will nevertheless join your ranks
Pinky, backfill question: what do you need in Brand, what do you lack in Polaris? Maybe I want him too?
And a control shot: what if it is supposed to cook mainly vegetables? Will the pressure cooker boil them down? And how long does it take to naturally release the pressure?
Pinky
azaza I think vegetables are best cooked manually. That is, do not put on the program, but set the time yourself. It will be safer. Here I stew cabbage for 5-6 minutes, diced potatoes in broth for soup for 4 minutes. I haven't tried anything else yet. Tomorrow or the day after tomorrow I plan to try the vegetable stew (I'll just buy zucchini).
Normally, she releases the pressure for about 4-5 minutes (to be honest, she didn't really notice). Usually I myself forcibly release - well, for a minute, probably. If it is not critical for the finished dish (for example, when I do pilaf, I set it in manual mode for 15 minutes, and then it "reaches" during the release of the pressure) I leave it until it drops itself. For vegetables, it seems to me that it is better not to overexpose or set a shorter cooking time, and during the descent of the pressure, the dish will reach
Brand I want purely out of envy and because they have no problem with a spare pot. There are many detailed recipes in Temko. And by function ... Well, I don't even know. There are baked goods, the temperature is somewhat different, some additional functions (fish, for example), yogurt, like (though I successfully make yogurt in my Panasonic). In general, it is necessary to re-read that Temko again from the beginning. Although, I can't say that I have few functions in my Polaris. So far enough. But I still want a second pressure cooker (and this despite the fact that we are now practically alone with my husband) I spoiled myself, I really like that everything is quickly prepared.
I am only embarrassed where to repair Brand in Ukraine in case of problems. And therefore, my "want" will think about it. Maybe just buy another Polaris just the second model for the kit?
azaza
Quote: Pinky

I am only embarrassed where to repair Brand in Ukraine in case of problems. And therefore, my "want" will still think
So the child's future cartoon, or soon, in which case there will be no place to repair (as well as to buy spare pots) - I will only test it, and she will live in Rome. Therefore, the choice should be wisely optimal. So I am racking my head.
So, the vegetable stew can be put in manual mode for a couple of minutes, and during the release of the pressure, it will reach the desired condition? Or will the vegetables boil into the trash anyway? Practice on cats zucchini, pliz! My child respects them very much, they will be, perhaps, the main ingredient of her dishes (fortunately, they are there all year round).
And another question about fish. Fish, apparently, is also on hand for just a couple of minutes? I'm afraid of pressure more than fire, so let it be better to relieve pressure naturally.
My child is still Eating: vegetables, fish, chicken / turkey breast - her daily diet. Moregadov at the weekend.Neither red meat, nor jellied meat, nor anything else intricate long cooking practically does not use. Does she need a pressure cooker with such a diet? I need. But now I'm racking my head for her.

And in the topic about Brands, what do they say? Do breakdowns happen, or do they work stably? Maybe take a chance for a quality saucepan? They confuse me in Polaris. Well, enough saucepan for a year - and then what? Either throw out the assistant, or buy a new one. As an option - a new pan for Panas at a price approximately equal to a pressure cooker. Now you can buy your model for 530 UAH, and 400 for Panas.
Pinky
Well, given the quality of the Panasik's saucepan (I've been using mine successfully every day for two years), I think the price will justify itself. Anything is better than buying a new unit (and what to do with the old one?) And the coverage in Polaris is not bad.
Don't be afraid to relieve pressure yourself. The first time I was also afraid (as I was afraid of a pressure cooker in general) I do it without even using a towel. I just turn the lever slightly and calmly wait. It hisses and splashes a little, but you don't need to turn too much. If you turn too much, then yes, it can scald. But I have long ago adapted and everything is normal.
I won't say it for the fish, I haven't done it yet. But, I think, if you put it on for 4-5 minutes, it will be fine, taking into account that it will come in another 3-4 minutes of pressure release.
With vegetables, you just need to try and choose the best option for taste and cooking time.
I made chicken breast on the "bird" program. There, the set time is 15 minutes. It turns out great, tender and juicy.
Considering your daughter's food preferences, a pressure cooker may work better for her. Cartoon, of course, cooks awesome stews, soups, cereals, but ... much longer.
Well, I'll try to make a stew - unsubscribe.
IRR
about pots for Panasonic - they cost 200 gr from the brand. I bought 2 with an opportunity from Moscow in the winter. For the new year. Quality, girls use the forum, they say - better than their relatives.

somewhere on the brand's site they are.

Pinky
Ira, I saw this link to saucepans for Panasik. I contacted them - they don’t send them to Ukraine, and I don’t have such acquaintances who could be strained to buy and send. And shipping will cost like three saucepans. So I will look for an option here in Ukraine (when it bakes, of course, although it would not hurt to have an additional one now).
