I received my Mum 54251 harvester !! Outwardly I liked it very much! But then I inserted a whisk to try how it would work, and on the one hand, on the one that touches the bowl closer to me, it rings slightly. This is normal? Or do you need to do something?

Good afternoon to all members of the forum.
Today I made an order in Sotmarket, mum 54251, went through the sites in search of additional attachments
and that's what I paid attention to (or, on the contrary, I was very inattentive). Nozzle for squeezing juice, why such a noticeable difference in price.
Tell me what?
A few words about the site BAKERY. Very helpful and informative, forum members
I have read several topics of the forum with pleasure, the impressions are very positive.

Hello everyone! I bought MUM 54251. Share your experience. Here I read, "I broke the bushing in the meat grinder, the axle for universal cutting" .... What should not be done in order to prevent breakdowns.
P.S. Yesterday I was kneading dough on Darnitskiy on sourdough with a total weight of 850 g. Perfectly, without stress and squeak.
sazalexter
Tata Do not twist the veins and bones in a meat grinder, do not try to grate onions on a fine grater. When using graters, do not apply significant force to the pusher, the harvester must practically cut itself.

I broke the axle, but I assure you it is necessary to try very hard, and I tried, rubbed the cabbage swing all the way, roughly to say it got jammed with cabbage. Already bought the axle 400 rubles. and at the same time all the necessary graters (fries, medium, Korean). In general, the assistant is superb!
Tata
sazalexter ,Natalia K , thanks for the advice. Already the bones are understandable, and I try to cut the veins (we don't like meat and cutlets with veins).
Although many years ago I had an electric meat grinder on my Krups. Here is a beast - a machine, Twisted and veins and fish with bones.
Natalia K Do you mean the whole swing at one time to a tightly filled bowl?

Finally, I also have a super-assistant! Mum 54251.
Yesterday I spun the minced meat, and then "mixed" it with the additions with a hook. We have not made cutlets so quickly)
While reading the topic, I got infected with the idea of a fruit salad. I think I'll do it today. We must try the cubes)
About add. While Citylink liked the attachments, they write on the site what is available in our city. Planning to get there over the weekend.

Owners of MUM 54251, tell me, can you use the disc with knives included in the cutter assembly separately? He is the same as a shredder. Sorry for the ridiculous questions, I'm just tired of digging through the instructions every time.
Yesterday I used a meat grinder and a cube cutter for the first time. Great! Although the son-in-law says, while you collect this bandurin, you will cut it faster with a knife. Before that, there was a Bosch MCM 2150, they rarely used it for the same reason "get it, assemble, disassemble, wash", faster on a grater and by hand. True, the hands are not iron, and they burned out, poor fellow, the power is not enough for a tough dough. So I bought the MUM 54251 and I hardly regret it. As the saying goes, "there would be no happiness, but misfortune helped." The only drawback, although it cannot be called a drawback, since it does not affect performance, where should such a large set be removed?

So yesterday I received the long-awaited MUMik 54240. And I have the same trouble! : (The whisk (and only him!) And from the same side, too, rubs against the bowl! Marriage or trouble with this model or so it should. Already a little upset. Call the store or what? Tell me, please!

It seems to me that the knife will not shred separately from the cube
As for assembling and disassembling, my husband also buzzed all my ears, it doesn't bother me, and it's also good that most of the parts can be sent to the dishwasher)

Girls who knead wheat dough for bread in MUM 5 ... tell me at what speed and is it a bun?
Victor-74
Members of the forum, tell me who, where made orders for MUM 54251. I made an order in the sotmarket, but the store turned out to be just an eatery, for more than a month my brain was soaring with delivery, in the end I had to refuse, and besides, I read a lot of negative reviews about this store. Now I'm thinking where else you can place an order.

You are more fortunate, and I have already canceled two orders with a total value of 58 thousand, due to delays and empty promises (

But from wheat flour, yeast dough is perfectly assembled into a ball, even the amount for two tiny ciabbats).
lemusikAnd my baguettes did not come together in a ball, although the dough was partially wound on the hook. At what speed do you knead the wheat dough and for how many minutes? According to the instructions, 5-6 minutes at 1-3 speeds, but I think this is not enough for the development of gluten.

I called the store and they asked me to send them a whisk. She sent them, and for two weeks she called them every other day, since they had no word from them. Then they called and said that they had tried other harvesters - in the same way they rub all the corollas. They say so it should be, but it seems to me this is some kind of defective batch. I got my whisk back. I don’t even know what to do (((

Yes, I also have on one side of the bowl, as it were, marks from the rim. But somehow I'm not worried about it, everything works fine.
tar-alla
Yes, I also plan to use it, what can I do then. It's just that my friend and I ordered together just in different Internet stores, and she doesn't rub the whisk, then I tried to fix something
Ulitk @
Yesterday I made shortcrust pastry for nuts in a food processor. I mixed everything perfectly, nodded "head" not scary))
My boys were in such a hurry with baking that I forgot to take a photo.

Still, I listened when whipping with a whisk, it also touches the front wall of the bowl a little, but it's not critical - no traces remain. So I decided not to worry about it. Heard only if you listen and at first speed.

hello to all inhabitants of Temka! I am writing to you from Kazakhstan .... yesterday I bought Mum 54251, full of pants of happiness and I want it even fuller !!! I really need a knife attachment for fries and julienne !! Here you can find it only through the service, and they charge about $ 100 one knife and on our forum they suggested our online store, which, as an intermediary, will bring everything you want from Russia, only links are needed ... do not tell your stores where it is more profitable buy at the moment these my "Wishlist" ...

Thank you very much for everything I wanted in this store, only I had to take 2 nozzles for 8 and not for 5, well, and accordingly more expensive ((((
Tata
Girls, I made charlotte and my whisk also touches the walls of the bowl from the right side, and when the dough is thick, you can't hear it, but I think it's not critical. Bowl and whisk are fine. So, don't get upset about it

Hello everyone, I am ordering a Slovenian assembly from Kiev 54241 with a European guarantee. In early October I will be in Moscow, if necessary I can bring it. Last month it cost UAH 2500 without delivery + - 305 dollars. Write, it's not difficult for me if you meet at the station))))

I deeply apologize, maybe I missed where while reading this thread. Can you please tell me, I am the owner of a harvester 54251, how can you make mashed potatoes in it? Is it lush or paste? I just had a Kevud before, but he died. They bought this model instead. And what now and how to do with it just do not know yet. Very grateful for the advice, thanks!
lemusik
To prepare a normal puree, you need special attachment-leg for the hand blender
And 5-MUM does not have such a nozzle.
Nestor
Well, Kenwood did not have such a leg either, there, right in the bowl, a K-shaped nozzle did not badly handle boiled potatoes by kneading them in mashed potatoes, and then it was a matter of technology. Is there something like that here? Well, or can you somehow get rid of it?
Kara
Girls and boys, I read all the profile topics yesterday at night! I still don’t understand, for MUM 5 there is a nozzle for cubes, but not for pasta and rolling dough, and for MUM8, all this is there but no nozzle for cubes?
Happy owners of both, please help! Well, I really need both cubes and pasta
sazalexter
Kara You understood everything correctly, or cubes or pasta, everything is not together

Yes, in the topic about Mum 8 they wrote that the cube cutter should be released in the summer at 8, but so far silence!

I make mashed potatoes in a bowl with an ordinary whisk. First, potatoes with butter at 3 speeds, then at 5 speeds with milk. It turns out very tasty and not paste.
Kara
Oh, Alenky, but please poke me on the topic about MUM 8, otherwise I did not find

Thanks a lot for the tip. But I still didn't quite understand. Pour boiled potatoes out of the pan and immediately with a wire whisk? Can the whisk hold up? Thank you!
kirch
Has anyone shredded cabbage for pickling on the attachment that comes with the combine? Better go manually?

When cooking, I cut potatoes into several pieces. The whisk does it. I drain the water, put it in a bowl along with the butter, it melts a little, I begin to beat. Then I pour the boiled milk and increase the speed.
I try to make all the photos of this process, my husband laughs and says that all the details are necessary, starting from "poured water into the pan")

I like it from a combine harvester more than from a conventional grater. Well, and faster than hands - this is also more like it

And still it was never possible to "knead" the minced meat by hand, as with a hook. Delicious cutlets are obtained
kirch
Thanks for the answer on the cabbage. And knead the minced meat for a long time? I'm all going, but my hands don't reach

I still think I need it or not.
So far, I just bought myself a medium grater, a multi-mixer and replaceable grills for a meat grinder.

It looks scary If I hadn't read about it on the forum, I would have been scared too.

and there was also a mill for our combine 🔗
still would make a dough sheeter

Ulitk @, I think about a multi-mixer .. is it convenient to use it? I'm embarrassed by the fact that it is high, it seemed to me that the multi-mixer is even higher than the universal cutter, even it is too tall for me, my height is small .. in general, it is not very convenient for me ... maybe buy some other unit for every day .. I still think - I can not decide. I would also like such a unit with a double pusher (well, so that you can rub products small in diameter without problems ..otherwise the carrots, for example, "lie sideways" at the end and a lot of waste remains
sazalexter
Zima In my opinion Multi-mixer MUZ5MM1 🔗 it will not be useful at all on the farm, why duplicate the graters from the kit
tar-alla
I also considered the multimixer not so necessary, it is expensive for the same graters and a universal knife. I bought a dex hand blender with two choppers, 1 for 500 ml, the second for 1400 ml. I am very satisfied. A wonderful addition to my combine. Especially I often use a small chopper, very convenient.

I had a hand blender with an extra Braun bowl, but I "moved" to my mother's place because I was not comfortable keeping it. Especially for me "terrible" - to cut onions, he did well.
I have now replaced it with a mulitimixer. And it is convenient to chop with a knife. And I like to use graters in it more and more conveniently, because there is no need to disassemble the "cube" attachment and insert the holder and graters there every time.
In terms of height, I somehow did not compare, it seems, the "cube" is higher ... And the pusher is just a smaller diameter.

Also, maybe someone will come in handy. Since we bought together with a relative of the "addition" I to 5, and she to 8, I managed to try interchangeability.
Multi-mixers for 5 and 8 are different, the diameter of the mounts does not match. And the grill grates are also different: 5/4 is less than 8.
