sazalexter, thanks for clarifying. I looked at your profile 5634, looked at the Yandex market for characteristics, a good unit. But unfortunately we do not have this model ... Probably, I will still take 52131. Despite the fact that I asked about dicing, it is still not the most important thing in the combine for me. The main one I will be using is a dough mixer. All other features are a welcome addition.
not the most important, but the most entertaining process of making Olivier takes 5 minutes, I am a couple of complaining to my husband that now Olivier is not interested in cooking because of the quickness :) it's worth it, look in online stores !!!! You will not regret !!! We additionally bought a nozzle for Korean carrots and fries potatoes, using it regularly and very grateful for the fact that we sent you on the right path on this forum and now I have one more question, is there a nozzle for rolling dough on our Mum 54251? I did not find it in the instructions
lana19
Infinity83, I and not only were also interested in this question. And this topic has been raised before. No! Only the 8th series has a dough roller The nozzle does not fit 5 well, no way. Better to buy a noodle cutter separately. I did so. And I praise myself very much for buying exactly 18 centimeters and not 15.

but it is possible in more detail about your machine, you can in a personal, name and cost, as I understand it, there are not very high quality ones, but there are those that will last more than a dozen years

Good day!
I decided to buy a MUM 54251, which is why there were questions I don't understand where you get additional attachments - I want slicing for Korean salads ... but we have them in mvideo, and besides this store, such combines are not sold anywhere. in general, our town is small, I understand that you will most likely have to order on the Internet - but where exactly?
and another question - what attachments do you use more often than others? maybe there are some useful ones ...

thanks in advance for the answers
sazalexter
CharmTake a look at the Refrigerator. RU. The attachments that I ordered are all in use, which ones, read above.

and who how does mashed potatoes with the help of Boshik? here they write that there is a nozzle for rubbing berries and it is suitable for rubbing mashed potatoes and it goes exactly to the cube, and what kind of nozzle, who knows
sazalexter
Infinity83, I crush mashed potatoes, with a simple crush and don't worry About the nozzle I have not heard.

Puree works well with a conventional food processor whisk. (for kneading dough)
But you need to cook the potatoes, cutting them into smaller pieces.
It works great with milk and butter.
Very airy!

Girls and boys, guard! I prepared everything for the stuffing of the sausages, hoping that my Boshik would help me quickly. But that was not the case. I connected the meat grinder according to the instructions, collected everything, and how to turn it on, so the silence flashes. Where is the mistake???
Thank you in advance to all who responded.

p. from. I will clarify that I have a Bosch Mum 54251
Anna1957
I had such a garbage when I was kneading the dough, and accidentally moved the bowl with a spatula. Therefore, she simply trusted the cup. There were no troubles with a meat grinder. Ask sazalexter in a personal, he is our recognized guru.
lana19
Irina. Check out everything you can. All head hole plugs. Have you assembled and installed the meat grinder correctly? This harvester is designed like this - if something is not correctly installed and not fully worn - it will not work. I somehow forgot to put on the white round cap. The harvester did not want to work. Flashing red

Girls, thanks !!!!

That was the problem! Oh, this crazy technique.
I drowned out all the holes and the gadget started working. Trial sausages have already been done

Good evening !
Please tell me from what amount of flour in g / kg can our Bosik knead the dough?
I'm thinking of trying to knead cakes in it.
Anna1957
I always knead bread and cakes for 500g. Obviously, more is possible, but I have not tried it.
alica10153
Thanks for the answer !
I will try !
alica10153
I report
During the day my Boshik worked without stopping - twice from A to Z he kneaded the dough on Easter cakes.
For 1 kg of flour each, and coped with it great

Also yesterday I kneaded for 1 kg on cakes. How much faster everything turned out)

Good afternoon. Maybe there will be knowledgeable people and will help with such a question. I have a Bosch Mum 5 series combine. I want to buy a spare whisk and an additional bowl (steel, 3.9 l, in my opinion) for it. Who knows if this can be done in Germany? Maybe someone will tell you the addresses of online stores (in a personal).

I apologize, I missed the topic - I did not see that the link from that topic brought it here.

sazalexter, in Vneshremtorg nozzle for ice cream 3 t. p. write to our series like ... You have not bought? Maybe you've heard about her?
I also forgot to ask whether to drive potatoes through the cube at high speed or low? Something I even get it chilled well with paste ...
sazalexter
Natalia K, I saw the ice cream attachment, so far I was not interested if I decide to buy an automatic ice cream maker of the Brand 3811 type https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=309181.0

I did it at an average speed, like on 5ke, the potatoes were "old" and not overcooked, cooked a little longer than aldente
Natasha K
Yeah thanks. Normal potatoes are their own, they seem to have not been overcooked, which has not been combined with them recently, on the blades .. a little higher it turns out a sticky "dough". But the okroshka season is coming!
So you don't advise a nozzle?
And another question: in the cube nozzle there is a kind of ring with the sun on small legs, we had a spare one, we ripped off the first one, I don’t see it in spare parts, I would take it in reserve, do you accidentally know what it’s called? It’s not clear, she probably explained ... I’ll show the photo later.
sazalexter
Natalia K, I realized about which ring, this is the knot of breaking the cube attachment, I don’t know the part number I will look later, in the Bosch service, the part should be on sale.
Mar_k
I seem to have read everything, but I burst out a little what I want !!! There are two questions
1. How noisy the harvester 54241, 57860 is - this is very important, I do not mean the work of a meat grinder.
2. Does a multi mixer have a large volume?
3. I also remembered, but the dough, where you need to chop the flour with butter (not liquid), that is, turn it into crumbs, how to do it, or is the multi mixer just suitable for this?

I am grateful for the early to everyone who will answer ???
sazalexter
Mar_k, It is noisy of course, there is nothing to compare with, everything is relative. I do not have a multi-mixer, in my opinion this is the most stupid attachment. I didn't chop flour and butter, if I thought it up, I probably tried to use a regular blender.
Mar_k
sazalexter, thanks for the answer! I’m talking about the noise, if you turn it on in the evening when everyone has gone to bed, is it loud?
Natasha K
sazalexter, Thank you so much! You are an encyclopedia!

I will report, or something, for 2 months of operation of BOSCH MUM 54240.
VERY happy with the unit. I do not agree with those who said that the Boshik is flimsy and weak. For professional use - perhaps, but I am satisfied with almost everything.
1) The meat grinder is great. Without straining, she twisted the imperfect, veined beef. Large veins and bones must be avoided, of course.

2) Shredder - works well, but for small volumes I do not use it, despite the ease of assembly, disassembly and washing. The harvesting season is on the way - here we go for a walk! I immediately bought additional graters and about the one that for Korean dishes - yes, it cuts the carrots into thin cubes, but not long noodles, but short pieces, the width of the carrot (you can't put it along!). This must be borne in mind.

3) Strongly greedy, at the insistence of her husband, we bought an additional cube cutter - and now it is in use all the time. A huge bowl of vinaigrette is cut in a minute! Plus 5 minutes for installation-disassembly-wash. We make okroshka all the time, and with the same attachment I cut the greens (just a whole bunch of onion-parsley-dill and stuff it, push it with a cucumber). We buzz with a combine for less than a minute, and 6 liters of okroshka are ready! I will also use for stews, sautés, blanks. However, in my opinion, there are two "buts":
- the cubes are small enough. I wish the manufacturer included a larger grille in the package (the part is removable!)
- there are certain difficulties with cutting potatoes. It is better to choose varieties that are not crumbly, strong, well, and do not overcook it. When cutting, part of the potatoes
milled in mashed potatoes - not critical, but there is such a feature. If anyone has figured out how to deal with this, please share!

4) Whipping is excellent. I whipped one protein, and 7 - copes perfectly. It has never been possible to beat 30% sour cream with a mixer so well. The most used function for us.

5) Kneading. The hook was used for kneading cakes. It is a little strange that the hook pulls the dough along the sides of the bowl (there is no such "kolobok" as in a bread maker), because of this the dough seems thin, and pulls to add flour there. You need to get used to this and feel the consistency of the dough, or believe the recipe. But it doesn't bother me, I got used to it quickly. But the real test for the Boshik was this - HE HAD HELPED WITH THE MIXTURE OF RYE Dough! This feat can only be truly appreciated by the one who kneaded the dough himself. We bake sourdough rye bread without adding wheat flour - such a dough is very thick, tough, viscous, heavy. The bread maker could not cope with even a small amount of it, and the combine pulled out the batch for 1 liter of liquid. Believe me, this is more than a serious task for such a compact unit.

6) Bleder - well, he is a blender. What to take from him, normally blender.

7) Citrus press is the only thing that hasn't been used yet.

Conclusion - a wonderful acquisition, I generally keep quiet about the price-quality ratio. Storing the attachments, of course, requires space, but in my kitchen 8 m2 fit them without really straining.
They came out significantly cheaper.
I hope this review is useful to someone.

Mar_k
Burunduk, but it makes a noise like, very much, when it kneads, can they work in the evening / at night?
sazalexter
Mar_k, The noise through the interior door is audible. It seems to me that there are no noiseless combines.

Burunduk, Tanya, and fighting this is outrageously easy. Cut into "cubes" raw potatoes and carrots (absolutely any variety is possible), then into a saucepan with boiling water, 5-7 minutes (depending on the variety) and you're done! I dump it in a colander and rinse it with clean cold water (it cools quickly and does not stick together), but this can be omitted.

Works noisy at maximum speeds.
For kneading ... at 1-3 speeds ... With the kitchen door closed, I think you can try. Produces low strained sounds.
Mar_k
I looked through accessories - attachments for the combine! There is even a mill, which is very pleasing !!! But I was interested in the nozzle for pasta, which, as I understand it, goes to the meat grinder! But the attachments, as it is written, are only suitable for the mum8 series or will they fit for the 5th model?
Burunduk
No, they won't fit the fifth Boshik. This is for the mum8 series, it is declared as a combine for professional use.
Mar_k
Burunduk, Thank you!!! It is a pity very much !!! otherwise the fantasy played out
Burunduk
And here's another: boiled meat in a cube cutter is disassembled into fibers and gets stuck on the edges of the grate. It turns out not cubes, but ... how to describe ... something closer to mashed potatoes, or something. I tried to cut boiled chicken breast and beef - the result is not ah. But the boiled sausage is cut perfectly.

Owners of MUM 54251, please tell me, is the receiving neck of the same size or is there an "insert" for example, for one thin carrot, so that it does not fall on its side and rub with ugly circles?

Njashka
Good day!
I am interested in a few points on the work of 54251:
- to start the harvester correctly, you need to lay vegetables for chopping, and then just turn on the harvester or put it in the working one?
- Will you recommend boiled potatoes / carrots at what speed to cut, for 2 is it suitable so that it does not work into porridge or is it still on the 1st or maybe on the 3rd?
sazalexter
Njashka, lay in a running
Quote: Njashka

depends on the variety and degree of readiness of vegetables, you must try.
Njashka
Food processor Bosch MUM 5 ...

Can you please tell me what kind of part it is and where to attach it to mum 54251?
sazalexter
Njashka, The knot for breaking the cube cutter, inserted into the mixer, in the service, the part number was given above. You have one spare included.
Njashka
Thanks for the answer!
And then on Friday I bought a harvester, unpacked everything, but I could not figure out where to insert this part, everything worked so well without it.
Probably, I have a European MUM, I have a double holder for small and large vegetables. And my cube cutter is gray.
The impression from the combine is, of course, the most positive. Made soundly, high quality material in appearance. It is very nice to have such an assistant in the kitchen.
Lisichkalal
Hello!
Please tell me I choose between Mum 54251 (310 euros) or 54240 (210 euros) + a cube attachment (60 euros)
that is, it turns out that it is more profitable for me to buy 54240, but there will be an additional cube cutter bandura. So I will have not just a round cube cutter grater, but with a huge plastic nozzle. and so I will have 2 of these nozzles? can you just take out the plastic cube grater and use with the one that will be with the graters? so as not to store a huge cube cutter.
and are there any other differences between these models? does the cord roll itself, for example?
Thank you!
