still tell me to start - in the morning the child cook porridge from oatmeal, barley, corn grits - how to cook delicious porridge and quickly - what proportions and in what mode to cook?
Thank you.
I cook oatmeal in a ratio of 1: 3 on LP mode for 3 minutes, rice porridge in a ratio of 1: 4 on LP for 4 minutes, I don't release the pressure right away, wait until it subsides.
And semolina is even simpler: I let the milk boil in the Toasting mode and turn it off, add salt, sugar and pour semolina, leave it for 5 minutes to stand, add butter and on the table Boil Barley also quickly 1: 3 for LP minutes for 3-4 minutes.

Olekma, Thank you.
The following is still not clear: why, in some recipes on the forum, girls either take out the working valve altogether, or open it slightly while cooking.
How right is it? I didn't find in the instructions what to cook, for example, with a slave ajar. valve. Can I always cook with the valve closed?

I think quickly. Yesterday I cooked an assortment for a vinaigrette (not for a couple, usually), and I threw everything in at once (laziness was in portions), as a result, everything was cooked in half an hour - potatoes, carrots (that's understandable) and beets too. An hour passed from the moment of turning on and getting it. The basket is designed in such a way that you can soar upstairs for yourself, and cook for household members from below. I'm there in the subject fotala her. I’m happy, if it’s not so expensive, I’m happy.

shl. I forgot, then I cooked more beans for 20 minutes. (around 50 minutes everything worked). Cooked all vegetables at low pressure. I generally prefer this pressure. So it can be faster, but I don't need it yet.

It turns out that you don't need to put water to cook vegetables? and vegetables will not boil like this - after all, beets take longer to cook, and potatoes and carrots faster.

To become an experienced user, I advise you to quietly read the entire Temka from the very beginning. I did this even before buying Mulechka, while copying basic questions and recipes to a folder on my computer. And then it was very easy for me to master it. True, some questions still arose, but the girls, thanks to them, quickly answered them.
Mirabella
The girls tried chicken in soy sauce and pomegranate juice. well, just chic modern! Something like Asian cuisine. Delicious. The recipe from here was at the beginning of the topic. True, I did not add water and everything stewed so well 100 soy / 100 ml of pomegranate juice. The sauce is very tasty, I thickened it slightly with starch.
Now I'm cooking potatoes. I threw it down and I think water is needed or not to cook it?

And from what pressure will be gained, if without water? The cartoon will not turn on on HP or LP without liquid. You can pour some water and put the potatoes on the wire rack, they will be steamed.

Are the pressure indicator and its fuse also removed? and do I need to take them off to rinse?
The instructions say that in the "frying" and "frying vegetables" mode, the lid must be open - and in many recipes on this site it is written that the lid is closed in these modes, but not latched, and the valve is open - how is it make?
and about vegetables for vinaigrette - you need to cook vegetables in water or steam (only the capacity is very small), do I understand correctly? and if you boil for a couple how much water should you put? and if in water, so that the water covers vegetables?

remove after each cooking only valve on the cover (you apparently have black) and inner coverwhich is with a silicone pad, wash and dry them. Everything else (in the lid inside) every six months.

you can close - open when frying, it's okay. how Marif says, it is also written on the fence, and there is firewood. And when you cook and bake, well, cover it, of course, without buttoning it (you don't have to remove the valve, it doesn't matter, the pan in this case works normally, just like an electric pan).

if you want a lot of vegetables, you can load the DoNemagu casserole and pour 2-3 glasses of water. A couple is enough to cook all the vegetables.

more about the valve. It is sometimes removed, for example, when baking, so that the moisture disappears faster. Something like this

I have a question for you - remember, please, when you just started cooking in a multicooker, when it works, an unpleasant smell comes out - this does not affect the food in any way, I just turn on the hood during and after cooking and open the windows to ventilate room.
If so, how long does this smell take?

I have never had anything like that. Moreover, not with a single pressure cooker.
And the smell of what? Rubber, plastic or what?
dilyarat
I don't even know how to explain. Maybe because of the heating element. This is especially felt in the morning when I cook porridge, after I enter the kitchen room (we have a studio), it starts to feel a little sick. Of course, I'm picky about smells, but I decided to ask my husband if he hears this smell, he said yes.

My first borscht
Through a grater I rubbed fresh beets, carrots, finely chopped onions. I poured some salt. butter and put on frying, stirring at the same time. There was minced meat in the refrigerator and I put the minced meat, then the potatoes with the vegetables, then I poured it with water, salted it and put it on the HP for 10 minutes. The pressure was lowered after 10 minutes, I tried the beets - it turned out to be a little damp, I put it on for another 8 min. And now my first borscht "for dummies" is ready.

After the signal of the end of cooking, turn off the MB (turn off the "heating" mode) and leave it for 7-10 minutes.
After that, let down the remaining steam and open the lid

The multi system, unlike the oven, retained all the liquid from the food, as it happens when cooking meat dishes in ceramic pots. At the same time, both meat and potatoes remained in a normal stewed condition, and the meat, even, browned underneath.

She put the shank in a saucepan, poured water, boiled it and poured out all the water. Then she put the shank in a slow cooker, poured water up to the max mark, put peppercorns, salt, onions and carrots and put it on the high pressure for 1.5 hours. I waited for the lid to open itself. She took out the bones, the meat was already floating in a saucepan separately. Cut the meat into small pieces. Strained the broth. Mixed broth, meat and garlic and poured into bowls. This morning we tried it - we really liked it, considering that I cook jellied meat for the first time.

asparagus beans 0.5 kg maybe more
meat (there was pork) 300 gr - cubes
finely cut the onion
diced carrots
garlic 2 cloves
ketchup a couple of tablespoons (there was a Heinz tomato), you can tomato paste
condiments
water - 200 ml (1 ms)

Fry onions and meat 5 min.
I added ketchup, asparagus, carrots, chopped the garlic, added spices (the spices were from the summer set from Hortex, I think), mixed and filled with water.
VD 10 min.

It turned out to be a dish with gravy, and very tasty. I think next time I will add more water to eat like a thick soup. This gravy is painfully delicious. Recommend!

I also cooked the other day meat in french, I cut the meat into chops, marinated it in mayonnaise with spices (I specially prepared mayonnaise thinner so that it would later serve as a "liquid" for high pressure). While the meat was marinated, peeled and cut the potatoes.
Then I laid it in layers: meat, potatoes, onions, cheese, mayonnaise. She turned it on for 15 minutes, Multia thought for a long time, gaining pressure, then 5 minutes after the start of the countdown, Mulechka turned off, I turned it on again, but for 8 minutes, this time she worked all the time. I didn't let off steam, after a while I opened the lid, took it out for a sample - it's delicious and the meat just melts in your mouth

Yesterday I made cheese soup and paella.
cheese soup: 400g champignons, 1 carrot, 1 onion, 3 processed cheese, 2-3 potatoes.
Fried onions, carrots, added mushrooms, fried for 15 minutes, then added liquid about 2.5 liters, finely chopped potatoes, grated melted cheese, salted and pepper. She turned on the HP for 5 minutes, after turning off the mode, let off steam, added greens and turned it on on the LP for 2 minutes.

paella: rice 1 tbsp., seafood cocktail 250g., frozen green beans-200g., tomatoes 2-3 pcs., onions, carrots, curry
cut the carrots into cubes and fried with onions, added a seafood cocktail (previously thawed and washed), chopped tomatoes, fried a little all together, then add 1 glass of rice, beans, 1 tbsp. water, salt, add spices. LP mode 8 minutes.

Well, and the beauty is prepared. Oh, I want fish ...

And it started for me. I became the happy owner of a small multicooker just for side dishes and small portions of a present from Korea. Two beauties are now standing, waiting to be prepared. The stove and oven are not in use yet. I haven't played enough yet. Oh, really, this diet does not allow goodies to unfold. well how tell me to live without a combination of Cape + potatoes

Hey everyone. I've also been testing my assistant for the third day. I cooked buckwheat, barley, and today beef with cabbage. I just can’t still believe that everything is prepared sooo quickly and without unnecessary body movements. And most importantly, without excess oil, because I want to put myself in order and lose weight.
But there are questions: I cannot understand in what mode to cook pastries - manna, sour cream, casseroles, pies and biscuits. I just got confused and I can't figure it out without your help. If, for example, you cook on frying, then nothing will rise with an open lid ...
Or I read it in a recipe book, cook a sponge cake for 40 minutes with the lid closed. But after all, the instructions say that in this mode you need to cook only with the open one. Then another question, valve d. B. open? Not written in this book.
Another biscuit is offered to be cooked in a form, which must be placed in a basket and on ND for 30 minutes. Will the ND work without water or it needs to be poured into the bowl ..?
Oh, in short, my head no longer understands. Help. And sorry in advance for such questions, if anyone seems stupid
Antonovka
Vesennaya,
You quietly close it, but do not snap it shut (like an ordinary lid on an ordinary saucepan) and let the valve also stand in the "open" position. And we all went through some questions
Vesennaya
That is, I choose the modes "roasting", "roasting" depending on the temperature I need and baking with the lid closed and with the valve in non-working mode?
Antonovka
Vesennaya,
I'm running here - I bake exclusively on "Roasting Vegetables", I haven't risked the pressure yet, although I really want to.
sleepyhead
I bake with the lid closed but not locked and the valve open in the "Roasting vegetables" mode. It takes about the same amount of time as in the oven, and rises even better than in the oven. The lower part is baked a little more. I tried once to bake on "Toasting" - everything was burnt, I am no longer clever. As the girls wrote, I also bake on "Frying vegetables" At first I don't open the lid, but after 25 minutes you can see what happens there. And on pressure without liquid, you simply will not turn on, in my opinion.
Antonovka
sleepyhead,
Light, but in principle, the biscuit was not initially in a solid state, however, and not quite in a liquid state.
Vesennaya
sleepyhead, Thank you! As for the pressure, it is written in the recipe book that was attached, which I was very surprised at.
