We did purchase a stainless steel bowl from an ARC pressure cooker.

We don't have such pressure cookers, and if there are 5-4 liter clones, then without spare pots in the service - and in general 6 liter in Ukraine only Mulinex, we were not lucky here ...

We did purchase a stainless steel bowl from an ARC pressure cooker. It fits perfectly in height, does not poison anything on VD anywhere, only in width it fidgets a little, so to speak, inside the device (6-7 mm versus 3-4 relatives). The bowl is really eternal, everything is fried in it at a stroke, but it also burns well. But in general we are satisfied. So far, native Teflon is only for baking. Although it is always (and it has already been verified that everything will work), you can order an ARK bowl with a metal-ceramic coating (by the way, at a price it is similar to a stainless steel, the difference is 50 rubles).

I purchased with a metal-ceramic coating, but expected more from it. It also burns in it. For baking - only Teflon. And this one is good for soups. But the second cup still won't hurt me.

girls, I have not met such a recipe (or looked badly), I will share, I decided boil milk in a slow cooker, otherwise you stand to interfere for a long time and the pans always burn
so the extinguishing mode, the lid snapped shut but the valve is open, poured 3 liters, but more is possible
somewhere in an hour (maybe a little earlier) boiled, and after 4 hours (completely stewing mode and then switches to heating) baked milk

I promised a recipe for a long time, but it still didn't work out to match the mode to the multicooker. Now it seems to have happened. But, to be honest, it still tastes better on a gas stove, there the taste of real sprats, and in Mulechka you can feel a little taste of the cooked ones. But it's still very tasty. I advise everyone to cook at least once.

SPRATS IN TEA BREWER in MV

Multicooker-pressure cooker Moulinex Minute Cook CE4000

1 kg of capelin (sprat can be used) - cut off the heads, lightly press the abdomen and remove the insides with a knife. Share in MB.
Brew tea: 1 tablespoon per 200 grams of boiling water. Insist, strain. Pour the fish, add 100 grams of vegetable oil, peppercorns, lavrushka, 1 teaspoon of salt.
Switch the MV to Low pressure for 1 hour.
The same can be cooked on the stove. It will be even tastier.
Put on fire when it boils, turn on low heat and simmer for 2 hours.

Girls, please help, I can not figure out the "frying", "stewing", "frying" mode. It seems that these modes do not work for me at all. In general, I describe my actions in detail, how I turn on the "frying" mode, for example. I plugged it in, in standby mode the display "-", I press the menu button 4 times and the button in the frying mode flashes red, then I press start on the display "00." dot does not blink and wait ... does not heat up !!! the cover is closed but not latched. She doesn't get warm at all.and also on the modes "stewing" and "browning". I got used to it differently, and I don't know maybe this is right.
I turn on the menu once, the "VD" button flashes red on the display "01." I press start and it starts to warm up and the dot flashes, then it turns off after a minute - two I press this "VD" mode again, set the time and fry like this, with the lid open it is simple !!!!! and I did not understand the meaning then of the modes of these others if everything is essentially prepared for VD or ND .... or is it just that these modes do not work for me as expected?
Help pliz, I don’t know what to do, maybe it is really faulty ???
IRR
everything is as if you are doing the right thing. We plug it into the outlet, press the desired mode (let's say extinguishing) - 00 is lit on the display - the point does not flash. Press START - the point starts blinking, the pan is heating up. If something goes wrong, bring it to the service (as long as there is a guarantee)
Lenchainik
Thank you very much, otherwise I thought that I did not understand anything at all in technology)))) it's not just that they are drawn these modes, and there is nothing complicated there, I chose the mode - I pressed start - it should warm up ... I was immediately stopped by a stopper, how it does not heat up ... It only heats up in two modes HP and LP ..... I will drag back, very strange like that (((((

And who else had the same problems with this cartoon ???

Background: I recently studied the question - do I need an airfryer or not. The recipe for baked dumplings from there. But even in the multicooker I watch them, too, the girls are doing Dinner, the family needed quickly, I decided to make

baked dumplings
Purchased frozen small dumplings handmade 400 g
Cream 10% 500 ml (can be replaced with milk or diluted sour cream)
1 large egg
Salt, spices to taste
Dill, sour cream, garlic - serve as a sauce.

Pour frozen dumplings into the bottom of the bowl in 1 layer.
Fill: mix and lightly beat egg, cream, salt, spices.
Pour the dumplings.
Put in a fast car, VD mode for 5 minutes.
Turn it off, steam it out, serve.
Served, turned over on a dish and decorated with sauce - a kind of dumplings tartilla turned out. The dumplings were cooked and connected by pouring and the bottom was even brown!

Girls, the dinner turned out so quickly, my family did not even expect it. And I did not expect such interest on their part and did not have time to take a picture - lo and behold, there is already nothing on the dish and they are asking for an additive. She promised to cook more

Leg leg - 1 piece
Potatoes - 5 pcs. (medium)
Onions - 1 pc. large
Tomato - 3 tbsp. l., (can be replaced with tomatoes)
Salt, cumin, coriander, red pepper
Water - 400 mg

Cut the legs into small pieces, the zucchini into small cubes, chop the potatoes into cubes as for soup, chop the onion medium. Put everything in MV. Season with salt, seasonings and tomato. Cover with hot water and stir.

also could not get past this article:

1. The multicooker does not have an automatically opening lid

Everything in the cartoon is good: the smart processor was built in, and the tricky valve was installed, but such a simple and necessary option as automatic opening of the lid was forgotten! Judge for yourself, you kneaded a wonderful dough for a lemon cake, loaded it into a multicooker, turned it on, and left to walk quietly with the children on the street. And if you suddenly return home an hour after the end of the cake baking, you will see that the appearance of your creation is spoiled!

As the lid remains closed, condensation collects on the lid after cooking and drips onto the contents of the saucepan. In the case of a cupcake, this spoils its presentation.

Well, what should they have thought about this moment and added the option "open the lid when finished"? No, the cartoon is not perfect at all! ..
2. The multicooker does not have a mute function at the end of cooking

Yes, yes, this is a very big minus! Imagine that you have loaded a saucepan with cereals, milk, sugar and butter in the evening. We set a timer to delay the start (well, so that freshly brewed aromatic milk porridge would meet you in the morning) and went to bed. And if your body (or your child) decides to sleep a little longer than usual, then its good intentions will be completely thwarted. After finishing cooking, the cartoon will squeak loudly and persistently for the whole house (6-7 times). Yes, such an alarm clock. It's good that at least she'll feed me porridge after waking up. But still, not well thought out somehow!
3. The multicooker does not know how to mix the contents itself

But the bread maker can! Question: why not add such an option to the multicooker ?! The creators of the wonderful saucepan instead added a spoon to the kit (by the way, very convenient, there are no complaints about it), they say, stir it yourself! What if I forgot? If you just threw meat, onions and carrots inside, but didn’t interfere? Then the roast will turn out to be heterogeneous (although very tasty).
4. The multicooker can only cook one dish "at a time"

This, I tell you, is a big drawback! But what if I need to cook soup, pilaf and biscuit at the same time? Will not work. It's a pity.If we also consider that the cooking time in a multicooker is twice as long as on the stove, then it takes six hours to prepare a three-course dinner exclusively in a multicooker, no less. You have to improve your planning skills (and the saucepan sometimes works all day long, changing its contents).

Because of this significant drawback, many desperate housewives acquire a second cartoon! :) And the next big drawback of a saucepan smoothly emerges from this minus ...
5. A multicooker leads to almost complete inactivity of the stove and oven

Yes, yes, having learned the freedom that the cartoon gives, it is very difficult to return yourself to cooking rice, soup or pilaf on the stove. And why, tell me then, did you buy a new beautiful gas stove, if all its charms were "ruined" by the treacherous slow cooker?
6. The multicooker does not know how to brown the top of the baking

But for the oven, the cartoon is not as scary as for the stove. After all, she does not know how to brown the top of the baked goods like an oven, that’s what a problem! .. But, I’ll tell you, in the context of small children crawling and running in the kitchen next to their mother (and a hot oven), many housewives, nevertheless, prefer to suffer from a non-browned top of the biscuit than from burns of babies on the oven.
7. A slow cooker weakens you as a hostess; after talking with her, you cannot cook buckwheat on the stove

If you connect with a cartoon, it will haunt you all your life! She will go with you to your dacha, to visit relatives and even travel 1200 km from Ukraine to Bulgaria, so that you do not deny yourself the comfort and morning milk porridge (which your children love so much). It's not a saucepan, it's a sticky fish! Be careful, beware of her ...
8. The multicooker makes you work (and what else to do in your free time from standing at the stove?)

Yes, you used to spend long hours of your housekeeping day standing at the stove, but now you suddenly have free time from "cooking". Not only time is freed up, but also space in the head. And plans, dreams and ideas begin to slowly return there. And when they finally occupy your head, you will have nowhere to run from your favorite hobby, freelance work, writing books, and who else knows what else? And hunting is more than captivity, you know ... So think carefully, do you want to complicate your life so much with this not at all ideal multicooker?
9. A multicooker is too expensive (considering all its disadvantages!)

And most importantly, a cartoon costs a lot of money! 2000 UAH, 250 $, how many rubles are that, eh? .. Nightmare. And this is just for the fact that the miracle (yudo) saucepan will be for you:

to cook
put out
bake
fry
steam
warm up

... any food without your participation! :)

In general, it's up to you to decide if you need a slow cooker and if it can make your life easier (or harder).

I will say about myself, knowing all the disadvantages of multi, alas, I can no longer refuse it. And even (oh, horror!) I dream of a second one! .. As you can see, I am seriously addicted to it (see p. # 7). So be vigilant with the slow cooker: she intends to seriously interfere in your life, inherit order there and stay with you forever!

I personally did not make sushi rice, but I cook a lot of any other rice in our saucepan. What's so special about sushi? There you just need to carry out the correct preparation and not miss the water. Here is a video, there the uncle just cooks rice for sushi in a multicooker-rice cooker, sobsno, this saucepan is intended for this there (Japan, China). In our Mula you can easily, only faster. I think in 7-8 minutes (taking into account the recommendations from the instructions from the prescription book).Rice - IMHO this is the cereal that these pots cook wonderfully, and without knowing any problems, the main thing is to chew

On programs, stewing and frying the time is not set. But this is not necessary, IMHO. Because you need to fry under supervision (sometimes turn it over), and stewing can be carried out in a saucepan at pressure, simply by setting the time.

Your soup can be put not for an hour, but for 15 minutes, you come, it will be ready and hot waiting for you, because the pan will turn off and go to heating.

tana33, here is the first post of a gypsy, read it, this is how all the scales in MV-SV are arranged. They are designed for cooking rice - after all, these are all the pans of a rice cooker, by and large. It is very convenient to cook rice this way (the main thing is to have a native measuring glass). How many glasses - so much water on the scale you pour, do not count, do not take a steam bath.

I'm afraid to fly with the jelly. Did I do something wrong, the pressure cooker is not very good, or the beets are not cooked in the pressure cooker?
By the way, when I was cooking pea soup, the peas could not boil for a long time either, although they were soaked for several hours, I had to boil them into dust, it also took more than an hour. Although boiling is active, the pressure builds up heat too.

PEA SOUP in MV (as I cook)
100 grams = 36 kcal

Chicken - 450 grams with bones (360 grams without bones)
Peas - 210 grams,
Carrots - 100 grams,
Onion - 1 small - 44 grams,
Hot water - 2,900 liters (all taken together to the mark)
Salt to taste

I didn't soak the peas, I just washed them. Grate the carrots, finely chop the onion. Add peas and vegetables, do not fry. Pour hot water up to the mark. Snap the cover, close the valve. Then turn on HP mode for 40 minutes. Do not let off steam, it will go off in about 30 minutes.

I put the beets on the bottom of the saucepan, topped up the water so that it did not completely cover, the beets did not cut, VD first, of course, for 20 minutes, I blew off the steam with a towel, I opened it, I thought it was boiled, but it’s not raw, and so on several times. The steam after each time blew under the towel all the hot raw beets. The valve was closed every time. And I don't know who to believe, I especially don't understand those who write about the wonderful smell, I tried to cook when no one is at home, the smell is not grocery, whatever you say. Although it is possible if you use it very often, it will disappear. But judging by the reports of those who recently bought it and are already enjoying the aroma of cooked food, I don't understand, I got this one. Plov cooked vegetables added to it began to burn in oil, while the meat pre-fried was still tough. The color turned out to be too dark with a burnt onion and carrot flavor and a smell from the very m. Skr.-cooking. In general, I have postponed it for now. But today I went to the site again hoping to fix everything and find my mistakes.

Good afternoon everyone. What a wonderful site you have! I have a week of Multi-mule and have been experimenting with your recipes for a week. So far I'm just crazy about this thing. But there are questions.
Today I decided to make chicken with vegetables. Did everything according to recipes. First, I fried the garlic in oil, added the onion. toasted it until transparent. I put the chopped tomatoes, waited until they gave juice. Then she transferred Mulya to the "extinguishing" mode. I put chicken pieces, potatoes, bulg. pepper. Salted, pepper, mixed a little. I closed the lid, the valve was on the "closed" position and on HP for 15 minutes. BUT Mulya squeaked after 2 minutes and switched to heating mode. I let off the steam and put it back on the HP for 15 minutes, Mulya squeaked again after 2 minutes and switched to heating mode. Well, this time I decided to leave her alone and wait for her to let off some steam. After 20 minutes when I opened the lid, everything was ready. The husband put 5+. But the question remained why Mulya didn't want to cook for 15 minutes?!?

V-i-c-k-y,

The juice from tomatoes and vegetables with oil was clearly not enough to generate the required amount of steam (corresponding pressure). But! it was still enough to cook everything, because the last time you left the pan alone and did not relieve pressure on your own. She managed to finish cooking during this time. In the next. initially add 3 spoons of water or broth.

the beets were small. I bought a large one now, I'll go to conduct an experiment. I'll write what happened.
Everything was cooked, large beets for 20 minutes. on VD, but damp for my taste, although if you rub it on a grater and who does not like soft vegetables it would be fine. I cut it in half and in the HP double boiler for another 10 minutes. everything is fine, it was necessary to listen to some clever advice and immediately cut it and cook for 20 minutes for a couple of minutes at high pressure. Small potatoes the size of a chicken egg were steamed for 6 minutes, the carrots were not large in 17 minutes, and the large ones that were cut into 3 parts were not, I had to cook them along with the beets.
Everything was fine, I am very glad, and so she stood idle with me. Now I will probably cook with her we began to get used to each other.
